Absolutely amazing and relaxing! Love the zero g chairs during our pedis and cant wait to go back to enjoy the spa! Loved the menu too, cant remember the name of what we got but we had some kind of bacon jam appetizer and mimosas just delicious!
I have been getting facials from Sidney for months and that’s the best my face ever feels every month is after i see her! love the mimosas, love the sauna, love my esthetician!!!!
I hosted a bridal shower this past weekend in Bergamos’s beautiful event room. It had just been recently remodeled with all new plush, gorgeous furniture. Tatiana (our coordinator) was phenomenal! She was extremely attentive during the event - she even made sure to give the bride extra love by bringing her a plate of olives (the bride’s favorite) without being prompted. She’s just simply the best.The food... WOW. It tasted as good as it looked and it looked fantastic!! I wish I could post photos here - it was really a beautiful buffet set up. The chef is amazing! I would book their event room over and over and I plan to visit their Bistro 313 on a regular basis.
I no longer live in Houston but I bought my daughter a gift certificate for her birthday.(she lives near the spa) I used to go regularly many years ago and loved it. Apparently they have gotten much bigger and in the process LOST CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS COMPLETELY.. I had difficulty booking online as did my daughter.. I had difficulty buying the gift card online so they allowed me to order it by phone. I was told it would be there in her name. a week later.. we both booked services together and the manager Donnely held me there 37 minutes because she could not find it..( had been put in a drawer) when i finally said.. ok we have to goshe required me to leave ANOTHER credit card number .. i guess in case i was lying.. even after i showed her the emailed receipt on my phone. My poor daughter.. thanks for the gift card..we spent total of nearly 500 bucks to be treated like that.Ill stick to my smaller day spas who treat customers with respect.Of note.. The total phone calls to get the card and book this appointment was about 6. The services were adequate.. but not worth the price for the return.
This place is really nice and the food in the Bistro is outstanding. We’ve eaten there for lunch and brunch and everything has been extremely good. We’re definitely going to try them for dinner and take in some of their wine tastings. The service is friendly and attentive.We also had massages there and they were excellent. This is a top notch facility and no expense was spared in the building and furnishings. You really should visit just to see the place. Tours are free.Other amenities:- Locker rooms with a huge hot tub and showers.- Hair Salon- Nail Salon- Makeup Salon- Himalayan Salt Cave

If you are looking for a great place to relax, this is it.Open daily with coffee shop, breakfast and lunch healthy menu and happy hour in the afternoons.I went on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a deep tissue massage 50 minutes of pure relaxation.They have a spa that you can use after the massage but it was not working.The large shower has a rain shower head and a good quality shampoo and conditionerI would have given a five star but not having the spa was a bit disappointing, I look forward to it after a good stressful week. Other than that it was fantastic!If you want a good female misuse ask four Glo.
Best facials in the world with Donna Savelle. She combines cleansing, extractions, peels, nourishing creams, light steam, heavenly scents and seems to keep refining and improving the combinations year after year. I’ve never had a more exquisite facial anywhere I’ve traveled in the world.

I have been to Bergmos only a few times, but my family comes at least once a week and that is why I received a birthday gift card to use this time around. I booked the ladies night spa in a month in advance because I missed the first one they had done. I went in person to pay because I was paying with a gift card. You are not able to pay over the phone with this kind of payment. I called the Spa about 1.5 hours in advance (before 6pm-When the event started) to cancel because I was not feeling well. Due to the current pandemic we are in, I did not go in and was told my payment would not be refunded nor could be transferred! THIS IS NOT FAIR! Given we are in the middle of a pandemic, and being told this is really upsetting. I understand if I cannot get a refund, but it should at least be applied to future services. I was told I received this gift card, because I lost my job during the pandemic, and have been under a lot of stress lately, and that this was the place to go! Now, I lost $150 worth of services. Its unbelievable that they are not willing to help you and just want to take your money! Also, the lady I had spoken to over the phone said that they informed me that it was not refundable. I went in person to pay, and I am 100% certain the lady who took my payment and went over the spa details DID NOT inform me of this!! I will also like to mention that a family member participated in the ladies spa night in and told me it was a rip off! That they did not perform the services that were advertised, and when she told a staff member the staff member said, Yeah. They lie about advertising to get people in here. What kind of stuff is this?! So, I dont get my refund/transfer of services, and I dont even get the services advertised for this package deal? UNBELIEVEABLE. As upset as I am, I am still seeking my refund or transfer of services, because I will not allow someones hard earned money to be just thrown away!
I visited Bergamos Spa for the first time on Saturday. It was a wonderful experience. Atmosphere was clean, quite and relaxing. Staff were all very kind. I enjoyed the salt room. I had a massage by Tavon that was AMAZING. Chakeitha gave me a wonderful pedicure. The Anti-gravity chair is an experience all to itself! My manicure was done by Maria, she was the sweetest and so appreciative. I would highly recommend this spa experience to anyone.
My experience at Bergamos was amazing! I went in to have a facial, and got there about an hour early to have lunch at the bistro (food was amazing!) and then enjoy the jacuzzi and the steam room before my service. My facial was done by Misty. She was so sweet and kind. It has been the best facial I have ever had in my life! I definitely recommend Bergamos and if you want a facial I would 100% recommend Misty, she’s the best!

I had an amazing time at Bergamos! Im not going to lie I was a little skeptical about coming here due to some of the reviews. I work in the spa industry so I know how it can be during this time especially with provider availability.Anyway, front desk who were absolutely sweet, along with my massage John who by the way did a 10/10 I felt great afterward and my back felt so much better! I would recommend seeing him! I then went to the cafe which Laura the bartender is very outgoing and sweet! I had the avocado toast with fruit and cherry mimosas! A must have, TRUST me! The spa itself is beautiful along with the amenities!Amazing service, I will definitely be back!!

Bergamos Spa Retreat is the best TOP NOTCH spa in TEXAS.(Fun fact: It is the largest free standing spa in Texas. Its not attached to a hotel or casino) I would give them 10 stars if that were an option. They had to remodel after the flooding from Hurricane Harvey and they expanded. The spa is BEAUTIFUL. They offer traditional spa services and so many new services as well. We got a tour of the new 22,000 sq. ft. facility - I wished I could have stayed there all night. My massage therapist, Gloria, was fabulous. They added a Bistro Cafe and wine tasting room. Ive been going to Bergamos for 12 years now and Ill be going back soon!

Ive had a facial today with Marla and i loved it...since booking it by phone i started to receive a great service. Giovanna (by phone) explained and clarified all my questions. Marla was great from the nice to meet you too the Good bye explained every single step of the procedure...she is great at her job!I will definetly come back!!!
Recently I scheduled a massage, it was the most disappointing visit I have ever had at Bergamos. I was informed that due to COVID there would be some changes and I did expect some changes but not providing water for their guest was over the top. Not only did they not provide the water, they wanted to sell me a bottle. Out of principle I would not buy it. I was there at noon waiting to be called by my massage therapist that I had requested. Ashley came out calling for Marsha after 15 minutes of sitting there I let her know that my husband was going to drop off my swimsuit and to please let the front desk know. It was then that Ashley asked my name and told me that she was my therapist, that the front desk had me listed as Marsha Bailey. I was waiting for Greg, the therapist that I had made an appointment with. I let her know that my appointment was scheduled with Greg, she told me that they called me yesterday to let me know that he was not coming. I NEVER received a call, missed call or a message from anyone. I would have rescheduled. Nevertheless, in a nutshell I didn’t get the therapist I scheduled my massage with, I was told I was notified when I never was notified (maybe they called Marsha Bailey) in the end they try to sell me water. Really!? This may have been my last visit. I can go to the Omni and receive better treatment.
Large gift card expired during the COVID pandemic. When I called within 2 weeks of expiration date I was told there is “nothing they can do.”I understand what you did. I just think extending 30 days while Houston was in an unprecedented surge and a red threat level (while not communicating anything) warrants a 1 star rating and the loss of a repeat customer. And you can call it a coupon, but my husband purchased a $250 gift card and received another $250 during back Friday, which I received as a Christmas gift. Had I gone in for services in the middle of July when inpatient rates were at its peak I could have used my $250 gift card. Now that the covid numbers are calming down and I feel comfortable coming in, I do not have those funds available. In a time where flexibility has to be at its greatest, you have none. It’s this type of customer service will cause you to continue to lose customers and recommendations.
Stood in the rain in line to get gift cards only to find out there were 80 people ahead of me and only 135 cards left. It was already 10:00 so another 3 hrs to wait, if everyone only bought 1 card. Decided after many years of doing this Im done. Last year they did it on line and it was great.

Update: I called like the owner suggested and left a message. No response or call back.Unsatisfied with the way they gave me false information about the gift certificates. I called before I went and made sure that I could use it. I had a great experience other than the rusty bars in the pool. When I go to pay and use my gift certificate, they won’t take it because it is happy hour and it is already discounted. I wouldn’t have gone if I knew that. I ended up paying the full price. You won’t be getting my service or others if you keep telling people they could use gift certificates and then change your mind. I don’t like making big deals about things, so I paid and left. But I think more people who work there should tell people that policy before and not lie about it to get my money.
This is a very nice spa and both of my treatments were great. Most spas offer more than just water and if not champagne there is at least tea. This place only has water available. This was the only downfall for me. We did hang out and order at the cafe afterwards but tea should be available for spa patrons.

This is my favorite spa! The atmosphere is relaxing and so peaceful! The massage therapists listen to your specific needs and work hard to treat problem areas. The estheticians are friendly and proficient! Need a pedicure or manicure? You will love the staff. Finally, need a makeup refresher? This is the place. The front desk staff are outgoing and well-trained. Finally, when finished sneak up to the outside balcony for a few minutes to enjoy a few more minutes of tranquility!
I go for the salt room for my sinuses and I get 5 star treatment no matter how much money I spend. Ive done the water massage, the steam rooms, salt room and facial. Ease of making appointments, excellent service and the place is gorgeous inside. You could easily spend 5 hours there and I have!

On Friday, 1/17,two of my friends and I met at the cafe at 11:45 for lunch. Several things happened on our first visit, to which we will not be returning.1) Party of 3 was sat at table and given only 2 menus, so I went to the bar and asked for another. 2) We had to wait for the tea to brew at lunchtime. 3) Told that the 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup was plenty of food for $14.00 and when it arrived it was just a snack. All 3 of us stopped at Wendys when we left because we were still hungry. 4) Ordered potato soup from the menu choices and server came back to tell us that they no longer make potato soup. 5) A sliver of glass broke off the rim of my glass and ended up in my mouth. I thought at first it was pulp from the lime until I removed it, checked the rim and found where it had come from. 6) Ignored for 10 minutes trying to get servers attention about the glass while she chatted with the large table of ladies who each got a gift bag as they came in. 7) When we finally got noticed, Manager was sent to our table and we explained about the glass and being ignored. Never once did she say anything about my snack being comped. I didnt come for a free meal but neither did I come for glass in my mouth and being ignored!
Judy was amazing today!! Cant wait to go back. This place really is a step - or 10 - above the rest. Excited to try their yoga! Also, their HH spa prices and other specials are incredible.

I am so sad to say that I can no longer support this business! And I have been so excited and counting down the days until the new place was finished. Not to mention telling everyone I know about them. My husband got me a $300 gift card for Christmas which I put in a safe place. I work 2 jobs 60 hrs per week, am currently undergoing infertility treatments and finally found some time to make my appointment. Well my husband had moved my gift card and we cannot find it. (Which I know is our fault) Bergamos will do nothing about it! I was told well it doesn’t expire!! 🙄 The gift card was purchased under my name with a card so the purchase can be traced and the gift card is like a credit card and they can see it has not been used. They had no problem taking my money but will NOT do anything to help resolve the issue. It is the same thing as stealing money from someone and I cannot support a business that is ran this way. I hope your new building is wonderful and treats you better than you treat your customers! So sad because I really loved that place!!!
Highly recommend for facials and the Himalayan salt cave. Great place for brunch, drinks, skin care and gift shopping.
Cons: Not a couples retreat. No coed areas except for a room with chairs and couches. The wife and I would have to be in separate areas if we wanted to get in the water or use the sauna. That’s disappointing. If you go before 11, the cafe is closed and they don’t provide any snacks while waiting.Pros: Staff were amazing and the cafe/bar was nice. The massage itself was relaxing.
I have been visiting this spa for a few years now. That should tell you something:) I have always been impressed with the level of service offered to me at this Spa Retreat. It truly is a retreat and I often re - treat myself. Ha. Seriously, Alexa is awesome. She is professional in every way. Bergamos did a good thing by hiring her. I look forward to more and more visits for years to come....as long as it doesnt get too expensive.
Oh my goodness would someone help this business understand what customer service is and means. If you make a mistake, make good on it. Dont inconvenience your customers or not make plain your policies about your 2 for 1 promotions or even worse have glitches with your 3rd party vendor selling them and hide behind it wasnt us It is your darn business! Do the right thing! I have heard that coupons that were lost were not honored.....you have it in your system! You know what was sold! I made you print out my coupon and another person was denied theirs. Be consistent! Quit saying your sorry, because you clearly arent. You have seen the last dime from me. I wont give business to anyone that does not appreciate their customers and try, and I mean try to do the right thing when they make a mistake.
Very disappointed...I wanted to treat myself and 3 daughters to a relaxing day at the spa (massage & facial). I had visited Bergamos in the past and enjoyed the friendly staff and services that my husband and I received. Beacause of my previous experience, Bergamos was my first choice for my spa day treat to my daughters.I recently contacted the facility to schedule the aforementioned spa services. I was instructed to complete the online booking information in which I did, and someone would contact me within 24hrs. A couple of days past and no call. I called Bergamos again in attempt to schedule services and was told that one of the coordinators would be calling me by the end of the day. A week has passed and still no call.I held this facility to a much higher standard than this; and as a returning customer, I expected better service. Needless to say that I am very disappointed with Bergamos and will be seeking spa services elsewhere.
Excellent service, spa treatment and amenities. And they now have a cafe too with delicious fare (poblano soup, avocado toast, to name a couple, yum). My experience is always rejuvenated.
Nicole massaged me for 50 minutes. She was nice, kind and professional. The ladies at the front desk were nice. I plan to visit again soon. I noticed that a new building is coming in 2018. Im excited because the spa is a little dated.
My husband and I had a couples massage and he was not impressed!! I had a facial and it was wonderful!! Loved the girl that did my manicure... but for $$55 she polished and rubbed lotion on my arms... not worth it ! Was Not impressed!! My husband and I wanted couple pedicure... they could only do us an hour apart ... so he decided not to do the pedi! (Which I had finally talked him into doing... disappointing) Loved the chair but again not worth the $$!!!
I do enjoy my visits to the Spa and have had facials, waxing and a pedicure. I like the hot and cold pools and have never had an issue with the cleanliness of the facilities nor the amenities provided. I find it relaxing and very much a treat. I do think the prices are too high though...$60.00 for a basic pedicure without wax or hot rocks or even foot/leg massage is ridiculous however even with the zero gravity chair. I will stick to just the treatments that are worth the money to me and just enjoy the moment.
The massage and spa services were great however the food at the cafe was horrible! We sent sliders back twice for being undercooked. Management apologized and comped our meal. Spa services were excellent.
Claires yoga program at Bergamos is amazing! I THOUGHT I was in decent shape when I decided to give yoga a try about a month ago (nope!) Im hopelessly hooked on her almost-daily classes. After an hour-long workout with her, I am exhausted from a full-body (and mind) work out but refreshed and energized. The routines are always different and challenging and fun! She is a master at what she does and truly cares about the progress and development of each and every student in her class. I am so happy I found her program and highly recommend it to anyone, no matter what level you are at, interested in yoga.
For the past 5-6 months I have been getting facial there monthly. I have seen a great improvement in my skin. Rachel really seems to care about improving my skin. She is very knowledgeable and recommends products that actually work. I also had a body treatment and spray tanning a couple of times, those services were great as well. The lobby staff has always been very friendly to me.
I always greatly enjoy going to Bergamos and now that Im a mom, I make a half day out of it by reading by the hot tubs before and after my treatments. As always, I was greatly pleased with nearly everything at Bergamos. However, this past time, the waiting room complementary drinks and snacks were not stocked sufficiently nor were the bathrooms as clean as they have been in the past. I probably would not have noticed these things except that the times I had been before were exceptional. I will continue going to Bergamos because the masseuses are amazing and it is nice to see the same ones there even if I havent gone in a year.
I had a therapeutic massage by Jessica. She was wonderful. Jessica worked out tense muscles I did not realize were so tense! I felt so much better after my massage. The massage was followed by the best facial I have ever had. I appreciate having the option of organic products. My experience was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.
I attended the Grand Opening last night and was amazed at the beautiful facility and selection of treatment offerings at Bergamos. I live in Houston but this is worth the extra drive time. It is a destination spa experience and I look forward to booking a facial and massage soon.

Bergamos is a wonderful spa in Friendswood. I have enjoyed many of their services and have always been very pleased. My usual is the Therapeutic Massage, due to my neck and back issues, I need more than the light relaxation. Spending time in the hot & cold whirlpool before and after my massage really helps. The facility it beautiful and just puts you in a relaxed mood. Melissa has been my therapist for as long as I’ve been a customer and she is awesome!

I have been going to Bergamos for around 10 years. I love it! Donna is the best at everything!! She does all my waxing and facials. I dont know what I would do without her. I have also had tanning and eyelashes done with other technicians who were also very kind and great at their jobs. All of the ladies that work the counter are very sweet and friendly also. We always share life stories while at check out which makes everyone seem like family. I have never gone to a spa that treated me with such courtesy and respect. I will never go anywhere else! I love it and highly recommend it!
I have been going to Bergamos for over six years. I have always had an absolutely fantastic experience for my manicure and pedicure. My husband has been going to Bergamos for over three years to get a manicure and pedicure and he loves it so much he takes his 86 year old father in for a manicure and pedicure each time he visits. We love Bergamos!!

I had an awesome aromatherapy manicure with their new technician Judy! She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. She also made sure to ask how I wanted my nails shaped and cut. I will definitely be back soon for a aromatherapy pedicure!

This is a 5-star spa and I loved my Vitamin C Facial. At 66 years old ~ it made my skin literally look 10 years younger and I trust that it was very good for my complexion as well. I felt very pampered that day. Very expensive, but well worth it:)
I love coming to Bergamos Spa! I am only able to come once every few months because I have to save up some money beforehand, but its always the highlight of my week when I am able to come! Its a very relaxed and tranquil environment and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick getaway

I started going to Bergamos about 3 years ago. The personnel are very friendly, courteous and helpful, and the facilities are always clean and never over-crowded. I just love Reina who gives the most wonderful massages!
The entire staff knows all about customer service. From the second you walk in and through your entire visit, you get the 5 star treatment. My wife forced me to go to a couples day massage where you hangout with other couples in the Spa. After mingling for a bit and having their snacks and drinks they offer, then its off to the massage. Or you can do the massage first and mingle later. Cant wait to rerurn, what a fabulous time!
My husband and I had the couples massage. It was very relaxing and we both enjoyed it very much. The facilities are very clean. The atmosphere is serene. Especially enjoyed the Sauna.

Ive been a Bergamos customer for a few years and I would say the overall experience is always positive. The staff is very friendly, nice environment and for our last visit, we brought a small pick nick and a bottle of wine to enjoy by the hot tub. Unfortunately there seems to be a pretty regular turnover so about every 3-6 months you are getting used to someone new.
I love the new pedicures! I was just telling a friend about how jets in the tubs make me uncomfortable at nail salons because of bacteria and I show up for my appointment at Bergamos and they have individual liners! It didnt stop there, while the girl did my massage, the chair laid me back. The girls called it a Zero gravity. I will definitely be back! Thank you!!

I went for a therapeutic massage with Melissa. Dont let her size fool you, she is strong!I was greeted warmly and had no waiting time. Complimentary sandals and robes are given to each guest and the environment is very relaxing. I love how the whirlpools and saunas are available to all guests - it really does make a difference. Valuables are stored in a safe keyless lockers, so thats good to know.I even used the showers afterwards. I normally dont do that, but what the hell right? Facilities were CLEAN and neat. Would shower there again.You get what you pay for. Luxury.

My brother and sister- in- law treated me to massage during my visit to Friendswood.The surroundings were very tranquil. The massage felt absolutely terrific and the attention from everyone there was very nice.
I have waited long enough for restitution and now its time to share. I do not recommend bergamos spa and would like to see them close or get new management or better yet a new owner! I had a pedicure there in January and was injured which caused me to need treatment from my foot doctor that lead to very painful recovery for several weeks. I contacted managment at bergamos and waited several weeks for reply. I finally got an apology and explanation that this never happens and what can they do. I said I wanted my 200 dollar gift card refunded because I am not comfortable returning for any more services and I wanted to make an in insurance claim to get my medical bills covered. The owner said that she would refund my card, but that insurance would probably do nothing. I said I want to claim anyways. A week after I get 20 dollars refund in my bank account and nothing else. It is now May and I have not recieved the rest of my refund or claim information for my medical bills even though I have contacted the owner several times. I have gotten no response either. Im so very disappointed in this place as I had enjoyed 2 pedicures here before with no problem or else I would not have bought gift cards to use for several more treatments during thier black Friday sale. Im very disappointed that this is a Friendswood business and our only close by nice spa. My friend and I can no longer enjoy this together unless we want to go into town. Horrible that they will not own up to their mistakes and take care of their customers especially ones who are repeat customers! I guess they specialize in one time customers only! Never go here unless you wanna risk injury!

Buyer beware. If you bought gift cards in the two for one promotion check them immediately. I had a receipt for $350, not all gift cards did were sent to my email. I didn’t worry because I had a receipt. I went in to get it straight and one of th $100 ones did not process on their end even though I had a reciept.Logical solution would be to let me just pay for it since their system gave me a receipt however no they wouldn’t honor the promotion. SERIOUSLY what the heck. Last time they get my money. I would have given them a zero if I could hav.
The services were fabulous but no music.. Never again will I pay this much for a massage to not have a full experience. The manager said the satellites were down and thats why they didnt have music??.. I think this is unacceptable. they should have back up cd players or something...

Loved my visit. I have been coming here for years and I always get my facials with Alexa. She is extremely professional and a joy to work with. Although the new pricing list doesnt list some of my most loved services al a carte any longer, I still enjoyed my experience.
I did a PreNatal Massage here and they were great. They knew what they were doing. I would recommend Bergamos!
My husband purchased a gift card to this spa for me, for Christmas. The receptionist was very kind and courteous when booking my massage and facial and the masseuse was fantastic! However, I felt the estitician to be quite condescending in nature when she asked me very direct questions about why I chose the regiment I was on. I explained to her that my dermatologist was the one making those decisions and Im quite certain she is far more educated than she. Of course I didnt say that but was certainly what I was thinking. Further, I find their prices to be absolutely ridiculous. $175 for a basic rejuvenating facial is off the charts and especially for a substandard facility. I will not be returning.
I went to this spa last Monday as a treat from my husband who purchased a spa finder gift card. I called the spa to make the appointment and asked them about using the gift card. They told me it had to be used in one use and I had to bring a copy of it in. Great. I asked for an escape journey. The lady booking me gave me the description and the price. I said I thought it came with a pedicure and the price was $235. She confirmed and booked me. When I arrived, I was ushered to the back after a short wait while the front desk was dealing with a computer issue. Massage and pedicure was great. However, when I went to check out after my services, they wanted to charge me $50 extra because I had booked a package and their policy was that I couldnt use the Spa finder gift card on the package. This caught me off guard. After a long discussion, the front desk couldnt do anything about it but told me theyd speak with management and call me the next day. I was in tears. This was my first moms day off since my child was born over a year ago. I had to pay the full price if I wanted to use the gift card. Management just called me. They told me its on their website (their website doesnt say anything and their spa finder description says Note: Some rules and restrictions may apply when using your Spa Finder Gift Cards or Certificates) and everyone had been trained to inform me of that. They didnt or I would have picked a different service. I didnt even get the full pedicure. I only got 60 minutes rather than the 75 minutes thats advertised for the full price. I read their website prior to booking. I read spa finders terms and conditions prior to booking. I disclosed my gift card when booking and even asked if that was the correct price and was told yes. I dont know what else I was expected to do. I would have given the front desk the gift card before my services if I would have been able to check in normally. The manager that just called told me I was getting upset and that I got upset with her front desk lady (yes, I was in tears) that that she didnt appreciate it and told me shes wasnt discussing it. Ill admit I yelled at this point before hanging up. Im so disappointed. Sadly, if they just would have refunded the extra $50 to another gift certificate, I would have asked my husband and my family for gift cards for another spa day. As it is, the manager insinuated I was a liar. So much for relaxation.ETA: I posted a response to the owner’s response; however, after reflection I’m replacing it. I have no problem with their policy. My problem is with the nondisclosure of the policy, which was deceptive because it was undisclosed with the advertised prices, websites, and when specifically asked when booking. Could I have handled the situation better? Yes, both I and the company could have handled it better. I was blindsided at the checkout with the undisclosed policy. The nondisclosure was deceptive and wrong, which the company seems unwilling to admit. I mentioned in my original review that both my services were good. I tipped because I didn’t want to penalize service providers. The company’s agreement with Spafinder is irrelevant. Their own computer issues with another customer during my arrival was the cause of the certificate not being presented then. I posted the review because other potential customers deserve to know the policy and management’s response to the situation. I also don’t appreciate the owners egregious mischaracterization of both encounters, which isnt surprising given the way they chose to handle the situation.
Not good. My wife booked and paid for a Valentines Day couples massage before Christmas as a Christmas present for me. Bergamos called two weeks before Valentines Day to let us know that unless we would pay an additional $50, they would be cancelling our appointment that was scheduled two months in advance. Its shocking to me that they are willing to treat their customers this way. As a bonus, they also will not refund the money paid as it was applied to a gift card - and they dont refund gift cards! Thanks for doing your best to ruin Christmas and Valentines Day in one fail swoop! I hope the massages here are outstanding because the customer service is horrible...
