Awful, My fridge was working when they arrived (fridge wasnt cooling like it should but still working) The technician started working on it but now its not working. This is the worst appliance repair company by far. I will never use them again & I would advise anyone thats in search of a repair company not to contact them for any type of repair. The only Good thing about the company is that they make house calls.

I have this old Classic stainless steel dishwasher from Kitchenaid, which gradually fails to clean my dishes. Tech came checked and recommended replacement is better.

This company doesn’t provide their own technicians; they outsource. The technician we got to troubleshoot our washer had no clue what he was doing. He broke the panel on our washer removing it, and tried to tell us the panel was the problem. He tried charging us nearly $400 to replace the panel, but I ordered it for about $180 and did it myself. Turns out, the panel wasn’t even the problem; it was a $50 locking mechanism which is what the error code said in the first place. Now they don’t want to reimburse me for the panel they broke so I’m out $180 dollars. The people at Friendswood Appliance repair refuse to take responsibility for the actions of the technician that THEY provided. They are rude and lack basic customer service skills. Do not deal with this company. I’d give negative stars if I could.

First, I couldn’t understand what I being told about my washer repair. I’m not sure how it was determined what needed to be done but a part of the tub was replaced. Then I was shown that the ball bearings needed to be replaced. I was never given an estimate on the repair. When I was told that the bearings needed to be placed. I asked the cost and was told $300.00. Not really sure if that was for everything or just the bearings. The technician said said he be back Tuesday afternoon. Didn’t come.I called the main number with no real answer so I told them to come get parts of what was repaired. Didn’t seem to care about my bad experience.I would never call them again!!!

Update: Ive been informed the heating coil for my GE Fridge is on back order and it was unknown when they would get the part.... I looked on Amazon and found my part. Ordered it myself and I will have in 2 days... Im glad I can do your job better....1/5 Score. Called them Saturday and setup and appointment for the next day - Sunday. Technician came Sunday during the time window promised, inspected the refrigerator and found that the heating coil on the evaporator was fried - needed a new one. Promised they would order the part Monday morning and would call to schedule the followup repair work. Two (2) days later and not a word back, called their office 5 separate times asking for an update - they are unable to get in contact with their tech and cant tell me if they ordered the part...

We have used them twice and they were a great company! They know their stuff. Both my stove and microwave has been working fine because of them. I highly approved!

Tech was excellent at what he does! He fixed the door of our very old oven. He checked and fixed our dishwasher. I paid a reasonable price!

Based on the strength of the reviews below I set up an appointment with this company. During the appointment window they called to reschedule for the next day, and later in the day called to cancel completely without giving me an option to reschedule for another time.I dont think these guys are very serious about doing actual work.

Called and asked for a certified LG repairman for my LG refrigerator, I was told he is certified, my fridge was working but the freezer was not. Long story short the repair guy was not certify and when he lefted my fridge was broke not cooling he said it was like that when he got there (liar), now my fridge is not cooling and they will not come back to the house, they said they will refund my servce charge. If you use these people you are a fool! learn from my mistake!!!! DO NOT USE FRIENDSWOOD APPLIANCE REPAIR UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED.

Contacted these folks because they were supposedly local to Friendswood, read one glowing review. They came out when they said they would, quoted me one price for the repair, then when the work was done the price went up $20.00 plus they charged me tax on the labor, which is not supposed to be done.Afterwards when we used the dryer, it was still not fixed. I called and left several messages with no return call, so I stopped by their office on my way to work in Monday morning. The address listed was for Stephanos Pizza Parlor. So I called their office number and asked for their current address, I was told that they dont give that out! Why wouldnt a business give out their address? When I told her that I thought that it was silly to not give our their address, she hung up on me. Called back several times with no answer.Finally the technician called back and I asked him why he asked my wife to make the check out to his personal name and not the business name. He told me that he was a subcontractor for Friendswood Appliance Repair. It looks to me like this whole operation is a house of cards and deception.We just paid $300.00 and got taken to the cleaners but not with our dryer which still doesnt work. Buyers beware!!! I would never let this company or individuals back in my house, even if the work was free...

I used this company a few years back and had no problems with the fridge repair gentleman. I decided to appease my home warranty I would schedule a tec to come out and verify that all of my appliances are in fine working order.They asked for a credit card to keep on file, I thought that was weird and even asked them if they were going to charge it and they said no. Still unsure I gave them an old credit card with no funds available to withdraw. A day before the appointment I called to reschedule because I got called into work out of state a week early. They rescheduled me. Two more times that day I had calls from the tec and office staff unaware that I had rescheduled. The tec was actually on his way the day of the canceled appointment. So no communication is definitely an issue, but not the biggest in my case....A few days before my new rescheduled appointment someone called me and said my payment was declined. I asked what payment, they had yet to even come out! He said they charge in advance (yeah advance for sure... it was DAYS prior to them even coming out!) I told him that I was assured that no charges would come from my credit card, and he said that is not policy. Period, he wanted another form of payment and yet there were days prior to the set appointment. No thanks! I canceled. I do not need any company using my credit cards without my authorization!

Do not call these folks; I should have read the reviews. They took my money and did nothing. Now, they are not answering to my weekly calls and I still do not have a working refrigerator.

I used them for my ge refrigerator and my whirlpool dry that ended up both breaking the same week. They came out first for my ge refrigerator and fixed it just in time for my daughters birthday party. My kenmore dryer broke and stopped heating two days after and they came out again and gave me a discount because they just serviced my fridge. It was only $50 to come out each time and that money went toward the repair. So I got both appliance repaired for under $200 total. That is very reasonable believe me I have been taken by other appliance repair companies. I am holding onto this companies info.

Honestly i didnt even use their services. I just called to see if they would service my water heater and she said We dont do that ...and hung up...Guessing they didnt need my fridge or washing machine business either.
