Horrible. Cost me more than it should have. Due to a lockout that wasn’t even my fault. If I could give 0 stars I would. Take your car somewhere else! Save yourself the trouble.

I thought I had bought my car with a broken horn because (after having my car for like 4 months) I went to use the horn and it didn’t work! Aram’s was able to figure out it was just disconnected (which in my conspiracy, Own a Car did on purpose, but I digress) so they connected it and only charged my for half an hour of labor. They seemed a bit on the expensive side and no one was wearing a mask, but I’d still recommend them.

Aram’s Auto Repair was extremely professional and informative! They checked out every inch of my car, making sure everything was as it should be. They mentioned some things that would need to happen in the next visit such as tires, which was very helpful so that I can plan ahead. I really appreciated the staff and the detailed inspection of my vehicle. Excellent service and I highly recommend them!!!

I scheduled an oil change at 8AM and it was finished close to 11AM so it was quite the wait for a scheduled appointment. $222.00 for an oil change and cabin/engine air filters, so mildly upsetting. The labor for one of the air filters was $71 and I drive a Toyota Corolla which is a small and relatively easy car to work on. I felt taken advantage of and I wish I asked more questions about what they were doing. Feels Bad Man. :(

Billy has awesome customer service skills and kept me updated on my volkswagon tiguan. My daughter referred me to Arams and Ive been there twice for repairs.

Great work. A little pricey but it’s worth it

Arams auto repair is very unprofessional. They had done a check engine light diagnostic and had replace one of two parts they thought it was. They then said that wasn’t the problem so they wanted to charge me another 300$ To fix the next part which is only $150 part. Then when I get my truck home to fix the part they wanted to upcharge me on, I find the hose that now has a broken clip that they had just stuck back on and left broken. When called about the broken clip they say they didn’t touch that part and there is nothing they can do to fix it

My car had been randomly shutting off, like mid drive. i had the parts already to fix it. Needed plugs and coils. They told me that they wouldnt have a warranty but that they could use those parts. I said, thats fine as long as my car isnt shutting off. I mentioned that my car had also been making this rattle sound. That didnt gey fixed and it wasnt until about 2 weeks after I spent $700 between diag fee and labor that my car shut off mid driving again. I called about wanting them to take another look at it and they said ao would have to pay another diag fee plus labor. What the hell! It had only been 2 weeks sense i left the shop originally.

Aram and his crew was awesome. They took the time with me that was needed to make me feel good about what I was doing.I had just bought this 1999 Jeep. Then within a week or two I was looking at $3800.00 in repairs. Was it time to walk away or invest. They were very patient with me.I felt very comfortable with them and the process. Thank you Aram.

A guy named Billy hung up on me mid-way as I was trying to set up an appointment. Absolutely rude and unprofessional. Dont go here. Apparently they cant be bothered to treat you with basic human decency.

The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that Arams is so busy I had to wait a week to get my car into their shop! However, thats just a sign of how happy their customers are--happy to come back and let Arams work on their cars again. Other than the long wait, I found them to be very thorough, professional, and kept me informed of what they were doing the whole way through. They were very methodical on the diagnosis process and took the time to make sure they were on the right track. My vehicle is running great now and the check engine soon light is staying off!!! Very satisfied with their work.

I honestly would never come here again! I took my 2012 Toyota Camry in to get fixed. They are way too expensive! They charged $715 to change spark plugs and mass air flow sensor and that was including a discount🤣🤣 The only reason I agreed is because I wanted my car fixed the same day and my mechanic I usually go to was full which is downtown auto care. They took way too long to fix my vehicle after they said it would be ready at 2 but wasn’t ready until 3 hours after that! If you want your car fixed at a fair price and on time I recommend downtown auto care!!

This is the only repair shop I will take my vehicles. The are fair, will not sell you anything you do not need, they are always friendly and best of all they keep you updated on your vehicle via text messaging. They are always professional.

Everything was great except one small thing on your progress emails, you need to be more proactive as I never got any calls after the estimate. I called in and released to do, then when work was performed, still didn’t know when it would be ready. It’s okay to put out progress reports.

They made a super detailed car inspection for a car we were thinking of buying. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

When the police found our stolen car it wasnt even drivable. Arams took care of everything, including dealing with our insurance company. They tested everything, letting us know in detail (including pictures) what they found. When we got it back it was like new, inside and out. They were very professional and just plain nice people to deal with. They are the only ones well take our cars to in the future.

Traveling from So Cal had ignition failure in parking lot of hotel. Towed to Arams on a referral, Billy went all in to get me on the road that day. Excellent service.

I recently moved to Fresno and brought my out-of-state 2005 Toyota Highlander in for a smog certificate and overall health assessment. I was very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. Unfortunately, although the car passed the smog test, one of the 3 converters had been previously replaced in Virginia with a non-compliant in California part. They worked with me to make it California compliant, and also did a thorough review of all other necessary repairs, complete with photographs. The service manager, Billy, made me feel confident that I had a new repair home for my old lady Highlander, and that she was worth keeping up. Sandy cheerfully drove me home and then fetched me when the new catalytic converter was installed. I always love finding great independent, non-chain-store repair shops like Arams. I had read their great reviews, and am glad to have found them.

Very deceiving, was told diagnostic fee would apply towards service, which was not true. More expensive than dealership who provides OEM parts. Would not recommend even on a last resort.

Not really in a position to purchase a new vehicle when my 05 Grand Am started to have some oil and coolant leaks. It is my first car and when you go old, instead of car payments you have maintenance bills. Took it in elsewhere and they gave me a rundown and a quote, but not so much as a photo or courtesy walk through. Took it to Arams and Billy took a look and walked me through what he was searching for. Decided to let them check it out officially. You get a nice beautiful full report with photos and video. Turns out my intake manifold gasket was going and all some of my hoses (still original) were seeping and leaky. Bad oil leak at the oil sender. So, I had them do the full deal on it. The car is probably in better condition now than when I bought it back in 2011. With the 2 year, 24k mile warranty, Ill have plenty of time to save up for a down payment on something new-used. Shoot, may even be able to pass this on to the next young kid looking for their first car. Even if its old, theres value in knowing it has been up kept, nay, made better, over the years.

I took my jeep in for an estimate for repairs required for the emission system. Billy was very knowledgable about the requirements, very professional and thorough. It was a great experience and I am forward to the completion of the project.

The facility of there shop is nice looking and gives off a pleasant vibe. However, as friendly as they seem they definitely seem to over charge on the cost of work. I would recommend looking around with other competitors to really see the cost difference compared to this shop. The other spectacular reviews that everyone else has given must of not cared at all to over pay for there car service. If thats the kind of thing you cool with (overpaying) than go ahead and bring your vehicle to this spot 😉 spend and blow that money here if it means nothing to you.

They provided a ride considering your vehicle would take some time to repair. I was recommended by USAA and I could not have been pleased. Excellent service from start to finish. Arams team remade my vehicle into a new used car. I love the body on the 2001 Lexus RX300 but unfortunately I took better care of the outside than the working parts. It drives like a dream ~ now that they serviced the brakes and struts. The online inspection report really showed the problems and the Auto Vitals website is a very useful tool. I shopped some of the work that needed to be done and Arams was very competitive. Everything about my experience was excellent; they have my sincere recommendation.

I took in my 2002 Toyota Echo and told Aram it needed a new thermostat. I choose this shop because back in the day when Car Talk with Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers was a weekly show on NPR, they spoke of their website with links to recommended mechanics submitted by listeners of their show. This was about the only Fresno shop on their website.The first thing Aram said was that my vehicle, with over 180,000 miles, would need a transmission flush (even though the owners manual does not include this procedure with any scheduled maintenance.) Also, according to Aram, the process of flushing the transmission would loosen small pieces of metal which could lead to further complications and repairs.I redirected him to just an estimate for parts and labor for the thermostat. His estimate was more than the shop I go to in Oakhurst! Usually things in cities like Fresno cost less than rural areas.I would not recommend this shop/mechanic based on this one experience. Very disappointed!

Arams Auto is great service all around. It all starts out with Billy in the front. He is very upfront, honest, and able to explain what needs to be fixed to someone like me who has no clue about cars. I know its hard to trust auto repair shops, but Aram and his crew truly have your best interest in mind as a customer. They never do anything extra that is really not needed, they just do what needs to be done in order to make your car to where it needs to be. They will always call you and talk you through what is going on throughout the day so there are no surprises when you pick up your car. Did an amazing job! I did wish they had a Spanish speaker tho so it could be been easier to speak to my parents but Over-all he was very patient with me translating to my dad on the phone and in person. Very friendly and Im happy they fixed my moms AC in her car quickly.

I find Arams Auto Center to be very reliable and courteous. They do not pressure you into doing what they recommend to be done nor do they come up with new things to fix. I also found the price to be very reasonable. It took them less than 1 hour to replace the belts on my Scion.

Was stuck on the side of the road with my dog, I knew this could have happened since I haven’t changed the tows since buying the car one year ago from repokar. The tow arrived 10-15 minutes before AAA estimated. The driver graciously allowed my dog in the tow truck to cool down. I was back on the road within an hour. Excellent service.

Quick in and out for a smog inspection. Just make sure before you get there that you registration paperwork doesnt require a STAR only station since I dont believe that they are STAR certified. The service was friendly.

It was my first time taking my car in to Arams and I couldnt be happier! Not only did they get me right in, they properly diagnosed an issue in my car and didnt push any parts on me. When I originally called, another place had suggested I buy a brand new expensive part. Nope, not necessary. Arams cleaned up the parts currently on my car and got them in working order all within a days time. As an added bonus, the free shuttle service offered by Arams is wonderful! They took me to and from work so I didnt have to worry about anything. Ill definitely be going back and would recommend them to anyone.

For over 15 years I have brought my cars to Arams, for everything from oil changes to major engine work. In every situation, I know that they are honest, hardworking and capable. There have been times where they have needed to find parts that are no longer available from the manufacturer and times where a diagnosis was difficult. The ran better than it did when i first got it!Better gas mileage normally it would take 2200TH RPMS TO GO 70 MPH. Now 2000 RPMS WILL YEALD 70 MPH. Got 23 mpg on the way home. Better than the last trip we took. I am VERY HAPPY NEW YOUR STAFF AND THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED

This place is so criminal with their prices. AVOID AT ALL COSTS $$$$. Money down the drain. They charged over $800 to replace two hoses on my AC unit then wanted to charge me another $800 just for the compressor alone then another $300 for labor. I got a second opinion on the AC isssues and the guy couldn’t find any leaks with his black light but Arams pictures they sent showed a ton of dye around the compressor high and low sides. I believe they sent me a pic from another vehicle and wasn’t really my car. The auto mechanic said Arams ripped me off good and they were very dishonest. Like I said do not take your car here ever !!!! Please do these people are schemers to the fullest. Remind me of being back on the EAST COAST IN PHILLY.

They are very skilled in trouble shooting car problems and have kept my older model car going. I appreciate their understandable explanations and detailed photos of the problem each visit.

I read through some of the comments that were made and like most I tried dealerships and a few other places first. They said they did a lot of work yet most of the time my problem still did not got away. A friend suggested Arams and I couldnt be happier. Yes I may pay a little more at the beginning but I dont have to keep going back until they do get it right and in the long run I end up paying more. Arams gets it right the first time. They are very friendly and they work with you to do what they can within your means. I have been with them for about 15 years or more, they have worked on all of my cars and will not go any place else.

I was driving through Fresno and was 6 hours away from home and 3 hours away from my destination. It was just myself and I my 1 year old. My transmission broke after I stopped to get gas. I called 3 dealerships and 3 shops and it being a Friday all of them were booked and not a single person would even diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle even after hearing about my situation. I was referred to Arams and they saw us right away and diagnosed my vehicle and spent quite a bit of time on the phone and spoke with the proper people about my warranty. Due to the warranty I needed to go to the dealership but if I could have I wouldve had them fix it. Definitely recommend.

I went to a dealership. They said replacing the catalitic converter would fix my transmission shifting problem. WRONG!! It cost over $1500. The problem was worse than when I brought it in. Took it to Arams. They checked the computer diagnostics. It was the speed sensor and some wiring. Fixed it for $425. It drives great, now. Thanks for doing a great job! The dealership that I took it to, shall remain nameless. (Michael Chevrolet). Thanks for nothing MC.

Arams: Friendly staff but hard to swallow prices. Arams is where you go if you have money to burn. I was charged $512 (this, after my coupon) to replace the starter on my 1999 Lincoln town car, quite a large sum of money for a repair that generally takes around an hour (216.00 for the starter, the rest in labor). Overall, I was disappointed by my experience given Arams mostly positive reviews. Instead of taking out on the employee and trying to haggle/beg for a discount, Id rather share my experience so that others can be informed when choosing a mechanic. Personally I will be taking it into account next time I need a repair.

Arams gave us a second opinion on a service that another repair shop was telling us we needed asap. The other shop quoted us $2k, arams charged us $40 to check the car thoroughly and said the work was unnecessary. We will be going back there as long as they stay open!

This shop overcharges for everything. Super annoyed with this shop. My son was having transmission problems which was under warrantee but instead they said they needed to fix the engine before they can diagnose the transmission. They didnt deal with the problem. We told them to left it alone. So they charged him $54 just to open the hood. Oh excuse me to scan the computer. My regular mechanic doesnt charge me for that.

I phoned this business today and the owner answered. The business was closed but he instructed me to bring in my vehicle in the morning and he would take care of it. I explained the problem and he gave me great advice!

Seemed competent, but the markup on parts was so high I had to go somewhere else. To their credit they didnt pressure me at all to keep my car there and gave me a very thorough diagnosis for a reasonable price.

Billy and the staff at Arrens auto body is amazing, my husband who had heart surgery not too long ago in Fresno had a doctors appointment on December 12,2018, we live 2 1/2 hours away from Fresno but he still has to go down there for these appointments. on the Sunday before my husband went to Fresno, i went to Modesto visiting family, I live in the mountains an hour and a half away from Modesto. While I was down there I decided to get tires and brakes put on my car I went to Meinicke on Carpenter by Kansas Avenue, I picked back up my car Sunday late afternoon spent the night at my moms house and drove home. on Monday while driving home I heard a funny noise, almost like a grinding or a rubbing noise, but I wasn’t sure. at first I thought that it was probably the noise tires make when they actually have tread on them LOL, On Tuesday the noise sounded like it was getting a little worse but wasn’t really sure if it was getting worse or I’m just noticing it cause I know it’s there. Wednesday my husband needs to drive to Fresno to go to a doctors appointment. he calls me when he gets there and says that whatever that noises has gotten so much worse and the car is shaking he doesn’t feel like the car will make it home, and it’s not safe to drive anywhere. So I googled the closest auto repair shop near my husband‘s doctors appointment which happened to be Aram’s‘s auto repair, maybe a mile away from where he was. When my husband got there he met with a gentleman named Billy the shop was pretty much almost closed but Billy looked at our car anyways. Billy informed us that Meineke forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the front two tires so the posts that hold the tire on that the Lugnuts go onto (i’m paraphrasing here I don’t know the technical term for the stuff LOL)most of them had snapped off, an the rims were so badly damage they can not be reused, they will need to be replace. Billy informed my husband that this car is very unsafe to drive, it needed to be towed out of the shop if he was going to take it elsewhere. my husband was told that he is very lucky he is alive, the driver side tire was the worst of the 2, and the fact that it was still on was a miracle. had he driven any farther that tier would fall off an he would have been ripped into oncoming trafficn.... there is no telling what might’ve happened if my husband decided to just try to drive the car home. It was late so my husband decided to get a hotel room and try to get all of this sorted out the next day because it was past7pm at this time, It was cheaper to get a hotel room then it was to try to tow the car home. The next morning Billy calls Meineke explaining to them what happened and what needs to be replaced because they messed up, The manager at Meineke John say to him “just tighten the lug nuts an they can drive it to us ( over an hour away) will fix it. Billy lets them know that this car is so unsafe to drive that they are lucky they are not getting slapped with a multi million dollar lawsuit because somebody died from their negligence, and the only way this car is leaving his shop is on a tow truck or after it has been repaired. I made the decision to not let Meinicke do any of the repairs, I wanted Aram’s to fixing the damage, I didn’t trust Meineke to be truthful nor did I trust them to fix my car!!!! All I have left to say is Billy an the staff at Aram’s was amazing, they were so helpful, reasonable, and compassionate!!! I feel they went way above an beyond. I would recommend them to anybody!!

I took my Escalade into Arams after having it misdiagnosed by the Cadillac dealer plus another mechanic. Within a few hours the problem was determined and resolved.
