Before this place became a franchise it was doing decent business and provided some clean work. However, my latest experience, I got quoted $2344 for air compressor replacement on my Honda civic. They also quoted a replacement of the Serpentine Belt for $189(parts and labor) which makes no sense since you have to remove/put back on the belts when replacing the air compressor? Basically for everything that my car needed according to the mechanics here it was $3876.I know my car and Ive taken good care of it and this price tag just didnt make sense.If thats not a red flag, $100.73 was quoted for a Cabin Air Filter replacement. You literally pop down the glove compartment and replace the old Air Filter (~$22 at Autozone) less than a minute of your time.Long story short, I got my AC compressor completely replaced with warranty from another shop for $1200. Serpentine belts were fine and there were no electrical issues as reported from Meinekes mechanics.Im sure the mechanics at this place will take care of your cars issues but get ready for some outrageous quotes and unnecessary labor. Would I recommend this to a friend or family? No I wouldnt, do your research about the average cost of whatever your car issue is online before paying an arm and a leg here. I hope this helps.

My friend recommended them because they were able to fix his air conditioner issue. They were very helpful and kind. Listen to everything I had to say. Explained the problems with my car and sent a detailed email so I could see for myself. Will definitely go back for all my repairs.

Dropped my truck off to have my AC serviced. The staff handled everything great, answered all my questions, and explained everything well. Sent me an text with the inspection report after they finished my truck. When I picked up my truck it was washed and the AC worked amazing. Great service, I would recommend them to anyone.

Came in with check engine light on and slight knocking in my engine. They quoted me 1000 dollars to fix my problem. Took two and a half weeks to get the parts they needed, and when all was said and done, they claimed to have fixed my check engine light problem, but have no idea what’s causing the knocking and I have to go somewhere else. I drive off the lot and within 5 miles, my car is barely drivable. They took my money and wasted my time and told me oh well, guess you’ll have to go somewhere else, thanks guys. 👍

I was visiting family and headed up into the Sierra mountains to a local lake about 30 miles away when my radiator burst. The stress of having to tow and have major car service is a lot on top of being from out of town. Craig and his team were very accommodating, gave a thorough inspection and was able to service my car within a business day so I was able to drive home asap. I received a hand written card and a text from Craig, the owner, asking if I made it home safely ( I live 150 miles away from the shop ). As a business owner and customer, I appreciate the extra care and customer service I received and would gladly come to them again if I lived in the area. Highly Recommend!

Amazing group of people. On the higher price range so unfortunately I couldn’t have them install a starter. But they diagnosed my car and found out that that was what was wrong. On top of that they did a complete inspection and discovered a few other things. Didn’t try to upsell or even say “x is urgent and we need it fixed today”. Once I finish nursing school and land a job I’ll definitely be coming back here

During this pandemic I was a little nervous to bring my car in to be checked but they kept everything extremely sanitary including pens! As a nurse I was highly impressed with their careful attention to detail. Not only were they careful about preventing germs, but they were also very honest about what was going on with my car. They only recommended things that needed to dealt with right away and said I could hold off on other issues that wouldnt need to be dealt with until later. They use an online system that shows you a detailed picture of all these things.

I gladly recommend CKM Auto Service. They are professional, let you know exactly what services are needed and what it will cost. They keep you informed about what is happening with your car and advise you of future repairs that will be needed. They provide a complete diagnostic report on the condition of your car. Took my van in to have the AC fixed. They had it diagnosed and repaired the same day and kept me up to date with calls and emails. They also did a free multi point inspection and gave recommendations on things to keep an eye on. Good value .. I would definitely use again.

Everything about my experience with CKM was exemplary! The staff is professional, friendly and focused on serving you to the best of their ability. They really did go way beyond my expectations. It was refreshing. As for my vehicle repair, they were persistent and thorough and paid a great deal of attention to the details of my complicated problem. They showed me pictures of the problems, explained them and answered all my questions. I have had this fixed 3 times before at other reputable shops and it only lasted a few weeks because there was obviously more to it than a simple repair. However, CKM worked diligently to work through the problems, one by one, and get it right. I waited to write this review to make sure it would truly work. It has been over a month since my repair and I am still fully satisfied. I really dont have enough room to write out all the details of everything they did to make this a surprisingly perfect experience. I normally am apprehensive about repair shops but this place feels different. You can feel the professionalism once you talk to the front desk gentleman and I mean a true gentleman. But his knowledge of cats becomes apparent rather quick once he speaks. And the detailed analysis of my car is state of the art. This place was recommended to me now I in turn recommend CKM to everyone for any car issues you might have.

Excellent service

It was my first time in and I had a great experience. The location is very clean and they seem to be doing their part as far as being clean, social distancing. I think the thing I liked the most was the free diagnostic they do, they text and email you a report you get to look over it and see real time photos of problem areas. I like it because I dont have wonder if what they are recommending is needed, I can see right there. I knew my car needed a lot of work, I did feel like for the things my car needed the price was fair. I unfortunately couldnt do everything recommended, wish I could but will definitely go back to get those things done at a later time.

After pretty much getting scammed at another mechanic I gave this place a try and I was really impressed by the service we received. They gave us an honest evaluation on our car and the final price was less than the initial estimate which my wallet enjoyed. They even shuttled us home and picked us up when our car was ready. Went in there for a car check up. The employees were very friendly and set me up with a full diagnosis and inspection of my vehicle. I love that they provided videos and pictures of the inside of my car that needed fixing. Will definitely keep them in mind for any future services. I took my car here because my air conditioner was blowing hot air. They came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. From the minute I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly guy until, the next day, when I picked up my car the service was exemplary. Came in with a report of a intermittent noise coming from the forward transmission type area which I assumed was a flex plate. Was charged 144 bucks to be told you indeed do have a noise and we won’t remove your aftermarket part to find out but here’s a very detailed and technology updated full inspection of your vehicle you don’t really need so we can let you know what other up-sale “recommendations” are available for your purchase. Came in with a issue, left with an Issue for another shop. I understand time isn’t free but I also understand (like most shops do) that if you come in with the issue and leave with an issue you’re probably not paying much if anything. This is your shop if you don’t know what kind of oil you have in your vehicle.

I decided to give CKM a try after going to the same mechanic for nearly twenty years. I love my guy, but his shop is located across town, where CKM was less than a mile from my house, and on my way to work. Met Craig, and he was able to give me an overview of what to expect. He had a good reputation thanks to my company which has its vehicles maintained by CKM, and my daughter has also been helped by them (she works next door). I was expecting to pay a little more than what I’m used to, but was willing to weigh it against turnaround time, convenience, and quality of work. As it was, I might have paid a little bit more overall, but the difference was marginal. Best of all, he gave my truck a complete inspection at no charge to bring me up to speed on what needed to be repaired now and in the future, and it helps me to have a target list of what all needs to be done with my truck (it’s fifteen years old, so it needs some TLC). Nhia handled the follow up, calling me to update and meeting me at the shop at the end of the day when I picked up my truck. He was very helpful and friendly and we have a few minutes to build some rapport. Overall, a good experience. Craig’s also a fellow Fresno High alumnus, so that definitely counts for something, right?

This was my first visit to CKM. All of the staff were friendly and the mechanics were extremely thorough. The owner spent some time with me going over everything at the end of my visit. I was pleased and plan to return.

While doing a job up in the mountains, the snow chains in our company truck snapped and caused damage to it. We dropped off the vehicle at the shop early in the morning and they ran a complete diagnostic. Not only did they identify the immediate/urgent problem, but they also went above and beyond the call of duty and made us aware of other items needing repair/maintenance in the near future. Parts had to be ordered but they worked hard to find a place that would deliver them within 24 hours; they delivered on their promise. Along with the bill for the needed job for a very fair price, they provided us a detailed estimate for work that needed to be done in the future, allowing us to budget for these repairs. We will certainly be going back to them!

Great place. Wonderful people. My car had a small oil leak. They fixed it in less than an hour. Total charge.......$9.00.I also had them change the oil and check everything. I use synthetic which is more expensive. They did all the work for less than any of the jiffy-lube type places which, by the way, was the company that caused the leak in the first place.Totally recommend.One last thing. Thank you Nia for your courteous friendly service. You are my go-to auto service.

Everybody I came into contact with at CKM was respectful, knowledgeable and responsive. I didnt realize how much the performance of my car was suffering, I knew I had a bad coolant leak that had to be fixed. The diagnostic that CKM did was thorough, identified the problem area and recommended a fix. Got the leak fixed and my vehicle now runs better than it has in years, thanks CKM! But best of all was meeting their Lab retriever, Bochy!

I got to say, these guys are great. Although you have to fork a little more cash than other places, it is all worth the penny. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly very friendly and welcoming. Their service time is reasonably fast and will keep you updated at all times during the service. After the job is complete, Bob at the front will go over the details explaining what the problems were, the fixes, and costs in great detail (with pictures). Hell, they even threw in a complimentary service check. I also noticed their shop was very clean and organized, which says a lot about these guys (many places arent so clean). To sum everything up, I took my vehicle in for a heavy service, got it back within reasonable time, and payed a fair price for a fantastic job. The saying goes both ways, you get what you pay for. Definitely coming back and would recommend them to my friends.

This place will scam you and tell you that you’ll need all types of extra service done to your car. Tell you your tires will blow out even though I have a lot of thread left on my tires. Say my car is not worth what it is even though my car is mechanically sound and just passed a previous inspection. Said I need to flush my fuel lines that will cost me a few hundred dollars when I can go to Auto Zone and get the same bottle fuel additive for $12. I wish you luck if you go here.
