After reviewing a couple local shops I decided to go with Quality, not happy with my choice. I had received a better quote at another shop but went with Quality because initially the seemed more attentive when I inquired. I Went in to have my check engine light checked. They used code reader and code p0014 for the camshaft exhaust solenoid B1 came on. I ended up paying $150 in labor and I was charged more then quoted for the part. When I went to pick up my car I was told the solenoid probably had already been recently changed and still looked good. But he changed it anyways. Is this normal, could it have been adjusted and still work? Crazy having to pay $90 for a $50 part. Definitely hard to find quality service these days.

This place is a good example of professional and high quality Vehicle care and repair shop. Mark met me at the reception desk, listened to what I needed to do and then guided me through the process, took the keys and in a short while the service was done.The place is clean and nice to stay in, looks nice and taken care of.I recommend these guys, as they know what they’re doing, they care about their customers and about their business, with attention to details. Which means a lot.

If I could rate higher I would. This shop has taken good care of my family & Is vehicles regularly as well as in different unique & unexpected situations for several years now. The quality of maintenance service, customer service, & owner ethics are stellar. This review is deserved.

I went in to ask about my check engine light. They said they would check it for free, and I got a tune up.The tune up was done in a reasonable amount of time and car runs good afterward, at a cost of ~ $470.00. However, check engine light is still on, they told me that three codes came up when the light was checked. The surprise was the $150 additional cost, per code ($ 450) to diagnose each code, and additionally the COST to be quoted to actually fix what was wrong. I remember when the mechanic used to take the car into his garage, figure out what was wrong, then tell you how much it would cost to fix. Now it cost almost a thousand dollars, before they get around to the actual fixing it. Youre right, I realize, Im not savvy in the new hi-tech automotive world.

Smog test on a 95 F150. Took it to one place that didn’t have the right equipment and recommended these guys. Easy pass and go. Quick and hassle free.

Quality service and honest work. My 94 Honda del Sol failed smog check and its challenging to pin down the root cause. Victor worked diligently and answered my questions politely. After a few working days and hours of researches, he not only resolved the issue but also improved the engine performance noticeably. Victor freaking nailed it. Even though the billing amount is much more than I expected, but I know that quality work doesnt come cheap. I would definitely come back again.

I took the car in to have the entire car gone over since we are about to make a trip to Southern California and I wanted make sure there would not be any issues on our trip. I left the vehicle. Mark called to inform me what he had found. I agreed to the work. Later I received a call stating when I could pick the car up. I have been doing business with this Quality Tune-up for 20 years. I have never been disappointed with their work!!!

Great people here! They get extremely busy on the weekend, so a walk-in smog check will take an average of 2hrs+ to get you on your way. I did 3 of my cars here this year. Affordable and knowledgeable, probably the reason they get so busy... But make sure to clear your schedule or have a ride pick you up, even for walk-in smogs...

Mark and his crew are friendly, professional, and extremely efficient. I own a plumbing company and am always in need of some repair on one of my fleet vehicles often given they are old vehicles. Everytime we come here it is fixed faster than I expect and they fit me in when its an emergency. Eventually Ill buy new vehicles, though for now I know that I have a mechanic that its willing to work with my budget, and still provide high quality work. I dropped the truck off in the morning and picked it up at 5 PM as promised. I had requested an additional service, but Mark felt that it wasnt needed and would be an unnecessary expense. Hes an honest guy.

The owner is always so friendly and kind. I love how professional and transparent they are - if I’ve ever needed an additional service based on their inspection, they show me the problem area in person and give me a full estimate. They also give me a time frame of when I should plan to get certain things done, that way I can budget/plan ahead. Great local and honest business!

Often when I go to a car repair shop my spidy since kicks in that they are trying to ripe me off. Sadly that happens more often then I want it to, but I have an older sports car that requires parts that typically are not stocked. They new that and didn’t try to push something they have just to get the car done and gone. My spidy since told me this is a good place to come back too.

I took my 2010 subaru outback on a cross country trip from CT to CA and back. They serviced my car and took a detailed look at it to make sure it was ready to get me back to CT safely. They were the sweetest guys. All excited about my trip and truly took extra care to make sure my car was ready and safe. I would highly recommend this shop. My father has been a customer of theirs for some time. You can tell they take pride in their work and seem incredibly trustworthy.I could tell a difference in my car after they did the fuel injection cleaning. Pretty great!

Quick and efficient Smog Check. The staff was personable and caring! Asked about air filter changes after fire soot. Checked th engine filter found it good but cabin filter bad. Replaced it in 10 min and I was back on the road.

I had coupn for 28.95 for oil change .mark suggested an oil cleanup costing 31$ which i agreed but then went on did some fuel cleaner etc without checking with me on the price and slapped me with an invoice of 185.70$Imagine from 71$s to 185$I was shocked but had to keep a plain face and pay.

Wait time was about 45 min overall with service but Harpreet checked in with me every 15 min to let me know How things were going. I recommend coming here for all your car service needs👍🏼👍🏼 Very friendly service

Stay away from this place!! Owner Mark is extremely rude and think of himself as a know-it-all!! He actually called a customer idiot just coz they asked some basic questions, well isnt that why you here for? I’m in customer service and know the first rule of any business is never be rude to your customers!Service is third grade- I got my tires installed from here and within the first month my front tire came loose and this was while driving on the freeway with my kids. Freaky scary!! I went to the shop and they told me it wasnt something they did or did not, I until I pushed them hard to check the screws. They found they had over tightened all the tires and that caused the problem.Customer service is primary for me, you can find dime a dozen of these auto shops but finding the right person who understands your problems and provides a end to end great customer experience is what makes all worth it! Do NOT go to this place

Came here for a pre purchase car checkup. One of the few shops open on Sunday morning in the area. The owner was nice and gave a detailed description of the status of car, and what needs fixing, how much would it cost etc. Recommended.

Horrible service misdiagnosed my husbands car, put unnecessary work on it and wont own up to their mistake.

AVOID THIS PLACE!As a customer, I had a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE experience with Mark at this shop. If I could give a zero star, I would. I was basically RUDELY REFUSED service for an inspection, diagnosis, and oil change at this place. This is my second time (and of course last time) Im at this place in contact with the people working there. Based on my two experiences, there is ABSOLUTELY no way this place offers a 5-star quality service or deserve to earn positive reviews! As a customer, I even had the impression that they may treat people categorically.I called in 8:30am on a Saturday to ask availability for service and Mark asked me to bring in right away. I arrived at 8:45am and asked for an inspection and diagnosis since I heard clicking sound at the car bottom. I told him the mileage of the car. He asked me to do an oil change since it will on the rack and its the time to do it Ok, thats fine. Then, he went to my car and opened the hood and started checking things. I was told I needed a 90k car service and given a quote for $1200 to $1400 and an entire day of work. I thanked him for his advice and told him Im not ready for that today to pay $1200. He was very irritated for some reason and said to me Come on, what are you here for today, dude! Im telling you your car need a 90k service I said I needed a checkup on the bottom of the car and for a big 90k service I need to do some research and compare quotes around the area. He walked back to his office since there were a couple of cars pulled in. He chatted with a Caucasian lady a bit, took her key, and pulled her car into the shop right away. I asked him whether he works based on appointments or is on a first-come-first-serve basis, since I certainly had the impression that I was there before that lady. He then became very rude and yelled at me with his NASTY ATTITUDE Look Im very busy! All of these cars need my service right now. If you are not ready then do your shop around and come back when you are ready! Imagine how I felt at that point as a customer and guess whether I would go back. AVOID THIS PLACE, and their prices are not competitive at all in the area!

Beware of price! Ripped off today.. over priced and rude!We were originally referred to this place by friends, local people supporting the local small shop but after today never again will I visit this shop.I visited for two new tires, got it done and was ready to check out but found myself sticker shocked when I seen that it was $800+ for two tires.. I understand that it was going to be a lot but.... I questioned why Victor mentioned that it was $350 a tire. I left with a feeling that I was being taken for. Called around to a couple places to find that I was over charged by $300!!! I went back to understand why this was. Mark the owner (with a smirk on his face) said well theses are special tires-club tires and I have a small margin. I explained that I called 2 other places to find that they were extremely cheaper about $300 cheaper!! Hes response was sorry I have a small margin, I could throw in a couple oil changes to help. I told him he lost my business along with family and friends business. What a %^*+%# ing rip off! I could have drove .5 miles to the next big box tire shop and saved myself $300.

Ive been going here for past 2 years and even with that level of loyalty I am amazed at how Mark (owner) managed to screw up the customer relationship. He may be good with cars but he is far from being a professional! To give him benefit of doubt I feel he may be suffering from Bipolar. At times he acts good and at times he is condescending to customers. He joked about a customer in front of me, calling her moron.If there was zero star rating I would give that to this business. Even though he did not say anything directly to me, I am sure hes done on my back just like with other customers. Get schooled in manners and professionalism and then conduct your business.

I just needed a new smog certification for a title transfer, but Mark was professional, efficient, and friendly. Quality Tune Up will continue to be my “ go to “ shop.

This is the worst auto care place I ever went to. There is not one but many issues with these people.Issue1: The owner or one of the owners, Mark (old guy) is a RACIST. He body shamed me just for no reason. Talks very rude. I came for an engine light issue and when I said no for an oil change (as it is very expensive), he started becoming impatient. After I went for a walk as he was checking engine light, he made oil change even when though said not to and he used synthetic instead of regular charging me lot more than I normally pay at other place.Issue2: These guys either dont know how to diagnose any thing little complex or they are ripping people off. They has quoted me for $800 for the engine light issue. When I called another auto shop, they said they will fix the issue for $60 bucks and that fix has nothing to do with the diagnosis these guys made. I got it fixed there and the car is running well.Just 200 meters from this place there is Fremont Complete Auto Repair and Precision Tune Auto Care, with better reviews. I will never go to this place again.

The service is super expensive here. They did a 5 minutes test drive, and put the error checker to check error code, and a 3 minutes visual check for the engine part. In between, we have to wait for the mechanics to change oil for other customer car. In total, we stayed in the store for 20 minutes. We got charged $100 dollars. They charge more than doctors, so beeeeee careful!. there is no fix were done, and no real problem was detected .2nd update:I will scan the report and upload it once I get home. As you clearly said in the report, everything is ok, only a pending error code related to the oxygen sensor, and it doesnt relate to car accelerate as you said. So you DID NOT diagnose the car stop issue we experienced, and also, since you already charged $100 for this 8 minutes in total diagnose, how rich am I can fix the sensor at your place???Also, we/other customers go to other car services places before, we all know what is a fair price for car services. Just would like to inform new customers in advance before they go to.
