I recently bought a 2022 Honda Civic Sport with AutoNation. Vineet was my sale representative and he is a great guy. He follow up with all my questions through all text, calls as well as in person. Great guy, good service, good price (at least during the pandemic with the supply shortage).Give the dealer location a try. They have good amount of supply and not forcing you with the Dealer Add-On markup now a day during the shortage. They build-in minimal options that dealers want buyers to pay as well.

Cant thank the staff enough who helped me pick out my very first car. I could not have picked a better car for myself that was under my budget. From the moment I arrived onto the lot I was greeted by Vinh (vinni). He was so helpful in showing me the cars I had in mind, allowed me to test drive, explained features for each car, overall he was very thorough in helping me. I kept going back to the Honda Civic 2022, I fell in love and just knew this was the car for me. Vinni was patient in my decision and helped me as a first time car buyer seal the deal. He was helpful in helping me finding the right auto insurance the same day, and i was even able to drive my new car off the lot. Patrick was also a huge help in helping me with the finances part after choosing my car.I was weary about being a first time car buyer, I didnt want to be fooled into any deals I didnt need. Both Vinni and Patrick made the perfect team in helping me, I really felt supported and that my investment with Honda was one I was sure about! I would definitely recommend friends and family to this Honda location. Honda has always taken good care of my car. They are prompt in repairs and always try to use Honda parts. Unfortunately they no longer have a shuttle, which is inconvenient. I would give 5 stars, but prices are high and you could probably find better prices else where.

I went in for an oil change on 8/9 and Andy was super kind and helpful from the start. He didn’t have me wait long and let me know my car was a tiny bit overdue for some other things. I wasn’t really trying to pay anything else but my oil change that day, but he helped me make the right choice of getting most of what I needed done. Always had a smile on his face and was very knowledgeable with all of my questions. I will be asking for him next time I come in for service :)

Jason went above and beyond to make sure my car was taken care of. I have a third party warranty on my 2015 Pilot. Jason called them to verify my car would be covered before I left my car. Jason called me to keep me informed about what my car needed and how long it would take. All the repairs were done in a timely matter. I will definitely bring my car back to Jason. Dennis the sales agent was great. We gave him the trim and model we wanted, and he was able to give us options based on the current inventory, and the future inventory situation. What’s more impressive, is when we came to pick up the vehicle the next day (Saturday) he gave us 45 minutes of his time to go through the unique features of our car, despite a busy walk in customer day. It shows the dealership is keen on building a long lasting relationship with the buyer rather than treat us like a number. This is where I would recommend AutoNation Fremont as a place to get your Honda.As for the CR-V Hybrid AWD Touring, it feels luxurious inside, quiet, especially on low speed (even when NOT in full EV mode) below 40. Little bit of road noise on high speed, but quieter than most cars. Honda Sense is amazing. ECO Mode is smart enough to switch to full EV mode in its own. Only gripe I have (I guess it’s a trade off to the fuel efficiency) is the 2.0L engine going on a long uphill on freeway speed sounds like it’s stressing with Honda’s unique version of their variable transmission. It just doesn’t sound great, and requires a push on the pedal to really get some juice.Overall, fantastic car!

We greatly appreciated the kind demeanor of the staff that helped us, however there should be a policy of telling customers in advance that if an electronic issue is not presenting at the time of the appointment, there is nothing they can do. Even though this electronic issue has come up for our Honda Clarity on a weekly basis, causing the car to stop operating in electric mode (which is what we purchased the car for) the issue was not presenting at the time of the appointment. So we paid almost $200 and wasted 6 hours of our familys time for them to drive our car around the parking lot. This may be part of their learning curve of how to service electric/hybrid cars, so my hope is that Honda can come up with more effective ways of doing diagnostics on the electronic systems of hybrids. But either way, they should absolutely warn customers in advance that if the issue is not presenting at the moment of the appointment, there is nothing they can do. This way, customers can make the choice to wait and come at a moment when the issue is presenting so our visit is not a waste of our precious time and money.

The service dept. at Fremont Honda has provided excellent service for several years and across multiple vehicles. They are consistently professional and great to work with. Prices are on the high side but you get what you pay for IMO. Shout out to Devron who stepped in and helped save a negative experience by covering for his colleague and going above and beyond to correct an issue that appeared after my last visit. No place is perfect but this location comes close.

Van is brand new with no miles on it. Service Tech who handled my case was keen to just increase the services to achieve his target and nothing else. In the past 6 months i drove 1000 miles or even lesser. Went in for Oil change alert and he started with services for unused brand new van with 7 K miles and he was trying to charge me $300+ . Have to spend time remove unwanted stuff from the charge list

I took my Honda Odyssey in for 15k service and told them that I had some issues with the infotainment system and Ross was able to get the technician to look at it the same day. They also checked for any Honda recalls that might needed to be done and fix. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with there. I would highly recommend their service!

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our daughters first car, a Hybrid CRV Touring Edition at AutoNation Honda of Fremont. Customer service was exceptional from our first phone inquiries to stepping foot into the dealership. Sales Manager Chi helped us explore our options in a friendly, no pressure, inviting manner. He answered all of our questions and did everything possible make us feel comfortable with a purchase. We communicated with him on multiple occasions and left the dealership to sleep on the it. We ultimately decided to purchase the car the following day, and picked it up four days later, on the weekend, per our request. Isabel on the sales team was great taking us through the car features and helping my daughter get set up with all her personal settings on the car, which she was very excited to learn about from another friendly team member at Honda. Our financing was handled by a charismatic man named Hendry who explained all our financing options and additional coverage, asking us relevant questions about our driving patterns and usage to help us figure out the best plans. He was patient as we made changes along the way. We took advantage of Hondas 0% apr financing for 60 months, which is unheard of and absolutely amazing. This was the icing on the cake. Prices are high, you need to pay attention of what you are being offered otherwise you will end-up paying more than $500 for a service of an almost-brand-new car. I would got somewhere else honestly but it is a Honda and I and love my car.

We tried to sell our old Honda and got an online offer from them and other dealers. Their offer was highest at initial, BUT, after the inspection, their price was the lowest. We asked if they could beat the other dealer’s price. They said yes! and gave us $150 higher than the others’. 3 days later, we tried to make an appointment with them to sell our car, they DECLINED the promised price!

Only issues I had were:1. If your service advisor is busy, other employees should be able to look up your vehicles status. There were so many people standing around an not working but no one could help2. If the mechanic breaks a part to get to another part, the dealership should automatically cover the cost. The service advisor first tried to charge me.3. Take a picture of where they will be working on so you can confirm later when you get your car back. It always seems to happen to me, but the hydraulic lines and wiring were not routed in the mounts as they were originally. They were pinned against another part binding. Over time they would fatigue and fail.All this sounds negative but Ive gone to quite a few different service shops and this is a fairly common practice. If the shop wants to rise above the rest then they should work to improve in these areas.

I was really impressed with the service I received from Mariam and Feb at Auto Nation Honda Fremont. They went above and beyond with making sure that they found the car that I wanted and delivering quality service. Got my new car in June/July last year thru their employee John Lu. He made the buying process super easy; checked out like 2 cars, & I saw the car I liked, got the paperwork started immediately, & I was out considerably fast.John was patient, answered all my newbie questions, concerns, & gave me a detailed rundown of the car’s features.Just today, I came back for an oil change (thank you Car, for beeping & showing me the alert every time I turn on my car, & John met up with me to follow up on how I have been doing with the car. Since I purchased my Honda I have had it serviced at the Fremont location. I had the pleasure of meeting Lily and I have been with her ever since. When I tell my friends I take my car to the dealership for servicing they think I’m crazy. I explain to them that the prices are surprisingly fair and couple of time it was cheaper than the neighborhood mechanic. I have to admit that the one thing that keep me coming back is THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. There is nothing that compares. Since the pandemic i was Leary about going anywhere so When I had my last service on my car My daughter took it to a mechanic down the street from my house (basic oil change, tires etc). My A1 light came on and I said this time I’m going to take my car home (Fremont Honda). I called and Lily answered & before I could say anything she said “Where have you been stranger?”. I was so excited to know even with all thats going on in the world Lily cared. She told me to come on down and Jessica could help me (just like she would). I went down and sure enough Jessica was waiting and ready for me. I alway say “you get what you pay for”. In my line of work how you treat others makes a difference. Honda in Fremont practice that and has made me a believer that there are people who care about their customers not just meeting a quota. Thank you Jessica and My Lily for making me feel like family.

This was by far the best dealership I ever worked with. I worked with other Honda’s before when buying other cars with the family but the service here was the best. I was looking for a Honda Civic Type R and they gave me the best price possible and made the whole process quick and painless. It took an extra month from the time of purchase for the car to arrive but they stayed in constant communication with me until the car arrived and gave me weekly updates. I will recommend them every time someone tells me they’re on the market for a used or new car.

But this large dealership had the exact car we were looking for, and we paid a reasonable price for it. Each time when I visit Honda in Fremont, I was also advised additional repair items. I only want oil change but was advise more than one thousand dollar maintenance. The service advice push to replace. I visited Honda on Thursday noon and spent three hours to get oil change. There is no shuttle service anymore… I made bad decision yesterday and totally not happy with their service.

I was charged $2.99 for windshield washer cleaner during my A1 service when my reservoir was not empty as I had fully topped it off about 5 days prior. Customers should be aware when one requests a service package, work will be performed that the customer may not actually need. I feel this is Honda having a laser type focus on profit versus having a sincere outlook of the customers best interest in mind.Once I received a call from the dealership letting me know my car was ready for pickup, I arrived only to be told my paperwork needed to be put together. This resulted in a wait time of approximately 10 minutes. This was very irritating as I just sat there wondering how this would even be possible after I was told my car was ready.My overall impression is a sense of inefficiency due to processes that needs to be refined for the best interest of the service advisor as well as the customer.One positive note is the complimentary car wash was performed well and the advisors were decently friendly.

Making an appointment for a car service was easy. Jessica Robinson checked us in. Besides oilChange, she told us what needed to be replaced and t how much it would cost us. She was very courteous and friendly throughout the process. She wasn’t pressuring us or anything. She was the one who also helped us when we picked up the vehicle. Once again she explained what service was done to the the vehicle and the cost of the service which was cheaper than was originally quoted. We had to wait to be checked in as there were already quite a few cars ahead of us(We had an appt at 8am). Since we weren’t waiting obviously we weren’t a priority. I wanted to build off this review with a recent outstanding experience at Honda Fremont. My service rep. Diana is absolutely phenomenal. My car had suffered a failed ABS modulator and needed the whole assembly. After hearing the component had been back orders for sometime, Diana did an awesome job at keeping in touch with me along with her parts manager in locating this component. After a week without having my car and a discouraging feeling that I might have to trade it in, I receive a phone call stating they got a hold of one and I was able to bring my car in. The only thing I did not like was the cost but hey... when you go to dealership, service cost is higher but I dont have to second-guess the quality. I recognized some of the employees who are my regulars at my business so happy that I supported Fremont based business!

Signed a price quote and wrote a $1,000 deposit check for a new CRV. Three weeks later was told that the dealer had sold the car to someone else and would we like some other car. Requested the uncashed deposit check to be returned but the dealer failed to return the check. We had to do a stop payment on the check. So much wasted time and effort. They were so disorganized that it seemed almost like they had never sold a car before.

In this car market with scarcity of cars Jana at Autonation Honda Fremont gave me a straight price without dealer markup (which some other dealers were applying) and also had the car in stock. The 3-star rating is deservedly given to this company: long service, the new car was given in not very good condition and had to return to have it finished. But I gave my rating of 5 stars to the person who works in this company, George Sharetski (sales and leasing consultant). Our Honda Odyssey car is running out of lease in June and we had to decide what to do next: buy out the old car, buy a used car or lease a new one in 2021/22. George not only described all the options for us, but also detailed all the nuances (he is well versed in this from start to finish). Thanks to him, we have chosen an excellent option for the next three years, and maybe more. If you have questions or need a car, please contact George. He is well versed in all the nuances, a very positive and pleasant person, fluent in both Russian and English. I am very grateful to this person and the whole team for a new car for our big family.

This dealership gives used car dealers a bad name. My son drove a used 2016 Subaru Outback at the dealership and told them I would be in the following day after work to drive and possibly purchase. I have an email from them confirming the vehicle was reserved for me until the following day.On my way over I got a call to tell me the car had been sold. I was very upset and asked to speak to the manager but the sales guy, Don Tolentino, gave me some lame excuse and basically hung up on me.My wife reached out to the sales manager the next day and was also ignored. I consider their verbal agreement and the email a verbal contract which they ignored. I have to believe this dealership has no integrity and should be avoided at all costs.

Diana was the rep who helped me and she was great! Explained everything that would be handled on my car. Also, provided accurate expectations of when the job would be completed.The facility was great and they did a good job of making sure the space was designed for protection against COVID. Seats were well space, masks were worn by all the staff, and waiting area was clean and tidy.They also have nice cubicles if you need to do work and I was even able to take a Zoom call (with video!) so good bandwidth!Great experience.

I went in for an appointment I had with 1 advisor and was actually greeted by Jessica another service advisor and I honestly could not have been happier she is phenomenal. I had such a fantastic experience. I really thought I was going to have a long grueling day at the dealership and it was smooth and painless . She took such great care of me and my car . I bought a Honda CRV from Auto Nation just before Memorial Day 2021. John Lu was my sales rep. He responded to my online inquiry immediately, gave me a quote and set up a test drive. I arrived and he greeted me. He already had the car ready for a test drive and I went on my own. I came back and he answered my questions and the whole buying process was quick and easy. After the papers were signed he said lets teach you about all the features. Then he offered to help me get the car home. He drove my car to my home in Cambrian Park, San Jose! I am amazed.Then a week later he called me and said his job isnt over when I drive off the lot, that I can call anytime for help. AMAZING!This is juxtaposed to my experience at Pearcy Honda that same weekend when they were using slimy sales tactics to try to close the deal even when I was saying I dont want a car this clor, it doesnt feel good, and I was in tears.I love my new CRV and I would recomment John Lu at Auto Nation to anyone who is considering a Honda. It has been 5 months since I bought my CRV and I have wanted to write this review so I finally am. Thank you John!!!

I had such a welcoming experience at automation. I made an appointment at 7:30 AM and was greeted by Dao as soon as I pulled up. He was very friendly and talked through all the service items that would be done. While my car was in the shop, I got a call from Dao advising me what the mechanic had found and other concerns they wanted to address. They wanted my permission before continuing. Pick up was a breeze and I am so glad I was able to get an appointment here. Will definitely return.

My check Engine light came on while driving to my grandma’s 96 birthday. I was 600 miles from where I live in Southern California. I was so grateful to have Ross be the one to help us that day. I had my two little girls and my mother with me and we were all feeling a bit anxious and worried. Ross listened attentively and immediately got us a rental car so we could get back on the road to attend my grandma’s birthday. He even personally cleaned out the rental car. He called me daily with updates on my car and had it already for me to go when we came back through town. He even washed my car and put on new windshield wiper. Im so happy I got to work with Don Tolentino to purchase my new 2020 Honda Fit EX-L! Due to COVID, I reached out to several local dealerships for the most competitive OTD price and not only did Auto Nation Honda Fremont have the best inventory but they also had the best prices.Don was very responsive and clear. He did not try to pull any tricks! The OTD price he offered via email was what I got when I showed up. He was respectful and a great host. I couldn’t give less than a star otherwise I would have given zero for the customer service. Called finance department about the letter I received from Honda Financial(the letter was about refund possibility being car paid off before the mature date). I called Honda Fremont and the man told me I need to be there physically to check eligibility. So I went there, and stayed 45 minutes(not a single person came and asked us about the purpose of visit). I lost my patience and asked if there is anybody who can help me. I was directed to one of the associate( I am guessing he is from finance). That dude was the rudest person I have ever meet in customer service. It’s a joke such person are allowed to work in customer service(who have zero patience).

Unfortunately, this one was not a happy experience for me. After waited for more than 3 hrs( longer than any times my car got service in the same dealer before), I got my car,, however, after I drove 4-5 miles, the tire pressure low light pop-up, as I was not too far, I drove back to the dealer immediately, a couple minutes later, I was told the car was ok. So I went to Costco nearby, after shopping there, I went on freeway, after 5-6 miles, the tire pressure low light pop-up again.... I was exhausted, drove back again, then I was told the car would be drove to the service area for a check.. (what about the last time when I brought the car back there?), Several minutes later, I got the car and said that the service guy did a reset of the system.... Well, ..anyway, it is good to learn that my car is good, and it is good since then( the tire pressure low light not pop-up), but this kind of thing should not have happened to me. I hope this thing will never happen to others again.

I made an appointment so I would not have to wait long. Did not make any difference. My appointment was for 10:00 am and I didnt leave until 12:30 pm. I was the last one in the waiting room after everyone else got helped. It was for a simple maintenance minder. Oil change and rotate tires. So much for making an appointment.
