Good service and price however I did get my big toe infected after getting a pedicure no issues with the manicure. I know other people who had the same issue. other than that I would recommend for manicures

I come back every two weeks. They always give me what I ask for. Clean place, great service. Kinda expensive but worth it.

I visited Five Star Nails after not being there in years since I no longer live close by and what a shift in the way they deal with customers. I walked in and took my temp as requested and the thermometer was reading a temperature even though I don’t have one since I was just tested elsewhere. I was asked to take my temperature again and it beeped again that it was high. After which I asked how long the wait was and was told “long time”. No specific amount of time since it seemed like they just wanted me out of their salon, it will stay like that always now. I do not suggest this salon since the owner was beyond rude and would never pay to support this business. Go somewhere else.

Never again. This place is shady to say the least. I called before showing up and asked how much my service (acrylic fill-in) would cost and was told $25. I got there and noticed no price list posted anywhere. I asked to see their color selection and was handed two rings with different colored nails. I chose a color and asked for an ombre design and was told they only do colors, no designs. I got a regular pale pink color on all of my nails and at the end of my service I was charged $40. I asked why it was so much and explained that I called in advance and was told over the phone a fill in would cost $25 and the tech said they charge an extra $15 for gel color. The gel color was the only polish I was shown and there was no mention of an extra $15 charge or I wouldve have gotten it because thats ridiculous. I paid but I will never go back there again.

Always busy. Only like one persons work. Every time I went, the acrylic gel is very cheap, so a new full set lasted 1 week and popped off. Linas lasted almost 3! Shes the best

Leo is my go to, he paints very carefully and I have gone back the past 3 months.Price is fair compared to other salons this is the typical price now. Ever since I’ve moved to Long Island, this place has been my go to salon for mani/pedis, SNS and Gel manicure. The place is large - I never have to wait to be seen. It is very clean and the technicians are all very nice, professional, and skilled. Adela, Lina and Lucy are amazing! You won’t regret going here! Been going here for years they do a great job just wish they did designs. I mean I do s&s I just wish they had a larger range of colors and replaced the finished colors.

I had a phenomenal pedicure by Claire and my gel manicure was done by Hua. Both ladies did an excellent job and were conversational. Thanks so much ladies!

Went to get my sns done not even a week ago thursday . by sunday they started chipping went back to get them fixed, & had the audacity to charge me $20!!! and to top it all off they look extremely bulky & disgusting !! never going back there again, use to love this place but not anymore !! after being a faithful client this is the disaster i get !!

Lucy is my nail tech. She is amazing. Shes sweet and very considerate. But her skills are of the charts. I will not come in if shes not here.

The best pedicure I’ve ever had, seriously! She really took her time and gave my feet a through cleaning. I was very happy with the services here. Mani & pedi for $27, can’t go wrong! I will definitely be back.

I will not be coming back here. Over the years the service has really declined. They have inexperienced teenagers running the show. I kid you not I came in for a pedicure and was done in 8-10 minutes thats how they rushed through the service. On previous occasions I had wondered why my nail polish would chip so quickly and feel gunky, on my latest visit, I discovered why. I personally witnessed the staff emptying out the half empty bottles of the essie nail polish into similar colored bottles. They then proceeded to wash the bottles in acetone solution and refill them with generic polishes. Very disappointed to see this. What I found most appalling is that they had no problem doing this right in front of their customers. Their prices have steadily gone up, yet the quality of their service and products has surely gone down the drain.

They are mediocre with natural nails. It’s hit or miss as to whether or not the nails come out nicely. The wait in my experience is excessive if you’re not going for a lot to be done to you.

Took my daughter there to get her nails done for graduation. Omg! The worst choice ever. Its a good thing I walked in when I did. It was a guy doing her nails and the bottom of the nails were wider than her fingers itself! After making him file it down to narrow them down he gave me an attitude then I asked him to put some small diamonds on it and he took 3 and stuck them on with no pattern whatsoever. It just looked like something fell on her nails. I had to make him do a design to look decent. To top it off, I was charge $96 for just gel acrylic french nails and french gel toes!!! I will never be going back to this place, they only care about making money not the job they do to keep their customers happy!

This is my go to for pedicures. They are a full service nail salon. I will on occasion have eyebrows waxed and a massage. I am satisfied with the services offered.

WORST NAIL SALON IVE EVER BEEN TO! The staff is extremely unprofessional and not friendly whatsoever. They also charge entirely too much for mediocre work. Most of their staff are untrained teenagers who are basically practicing on you, and when they mess up (which is almost ALWAYS) they conveniently pretend they dont understand you. I will never go here again and I wouldnt recommend anyone else go! Youll be wasting both your time & hard earned money!

Better than the last time I went.

Very unprofessional had gel French manicure done 1 week ago, 2 nails broke, went back and was charged for repair....Manager was very rude and unprofessional directing staff while getting her pedicure....never spoke to me or addressed my concerns. Only thing good about this place is theyre open Sundays...thus the 1 star!!!!

Went for a manicure this past Friday and by the next day the polish was chipped and polish was off completely in two of my nails... Terrible service Never again!!! I’ll stick to Kim in Baldwin..

They are fast but overpriced for the service they provide...great location and I can’t lie there is one or two girls that are always helpful....I gave them one star bcs its been a while i am going to that place just bcs its convinient for me but the material they use is bad quality !I do the uv gel and always gets chipped or loose the shine...my nails are always braking....and also on web it says that they are closing at 7;30 pm so if u go 6:45 pm they won’t take u in...I know they have alots of costumers just bcs of the location a d I can’t wait till someone else opens the nail daloon in the area so I can just switch them honestly.....

I spent $45 on a pedicure and had to tell the lady how to do her job. That specific pedicaure came with callous remover, however the young adult who was doing my my pedicure was so busy staring at the wall behind me that she didn’t properly remove the callous. After she started putting the lotion on my feet I looked at my feet and I could visibly see the callous. ———____———I’m like come on sis you don’t see that? My feet been in your face for the past 10 minutes & you don’t see that, I then proceeded to scrap it off with my own nails just to show her how much dead skin was coming off. She got everything off, but the fact that it was very visible and she didn’t care is rediculous. Then I got acrylic over my nails & that was $30 and to remove my cuticle was an extra $5. Since when was removing a cuticle not apart of a standard Manicure? Anyway the shape of the nails was barely the same & then two days later my nail broke. I went and got it fixed by someone who was a bit more seasoned and those two nails still look great, however the rest of my nails look like someone glued white chicklets on to my damn fingers. I might just go back to tell them about themselves or never ever go back there, which is sad cause I’ve been going there since I was in middle school.

While I agree with some, the staff & the owner is much to be desired, however Jerry is AWESOME! He does my nails so well they last almost a month if I had to, due to my health. The smell is horrible inside, but again if it wasnt for Jerry & being one of the okay salons in Freeport, I would leave. I DID go back to a salon I had gone to for 3yrs & left due to the ignorance of that owner that recently changed their name & gave them a try. So I want to give the new salon I used to go2 another chance cuz my nails recently came out very nice. If my old/new salon turns out to work out for me, Ill be torn between Jerry & Monica. Time will tell, as Jerry has been going back & forth to another salon the owner owns down by Church St, & Ive missed him twice now. Maybe thats a sign to leave. If it wasnt for Jerry? Id be gone already, as everyone else had given me problems w/my nails. Plus Jerry DOES converse with you, the others try to listen as customers WANT to chat at times, but they dont understand English. Yet they talk & laff amongst themselves, which I think personally is rude. Especially if a look comes ur way, u have NO idea what they are saying & they could be talking about you! Too me thats not cool at all. It just feels like a come in, sit-pick a color, take my money, bye, type of place, which is not personable at all, like ur nothing to them but money, ESPECIALLY when you are always coming back, your treated as if it was your first time everytime. I hope my old/new salon works out again, as I felt like a person there, not a $20+bills. Hey its just MY opinion.
