I called to check on the confirmation of my reservation. I was placed on a 20 minute plus hold. Not to forget the time that it took for them to actually answer the phone. I simply had to hang up.I dont know what happened to Enterprise during 2020-21 but customer service and just service in general has gone way down at the local branch level. This pandemic gave every company an opportunity to refresh and revamp revamp their strategy and their position in the market. I cant say that Enterprise has effectively used this opportunity.I have never been so unsatisfied with this company. I many have other instances or situations but this has become ridiculous and I finally decided to post something.To be such a large corporation whos tag line is running a family business in a coporate world, its just something I dont see.Please bring back customer service. There is a disconnect between management/corporate and employees and it shows.
I recently got into a fender bender and had to use a rental car for life. Tanya at this location is the best! She even offered to bring back to the mechanic after such an horrible ordeal with my car. Unfortunately, Her manager said no. She should definitely be in charge. All of my stars are for Tanya

We waited patiently for our vehicle to come at a different location. No problem. I Had other plans and i understand it can get busy, but we were given a car that says No smoking and smelled like cat litter and cigarettes.We didnt take it, even after the long wait.So, we were given another car.The car that was given to us needs oil and maintenance.The woman helping us Brianna was very sweet, provided wonderful customer service, and Id recommend her to help anyone. Sorry that you have to work with intrusive employees.Thank you for your help. Hope you found a better company that treats the cars and customers good!I wouldnt use this company again personally.

Very friendly staffs, but wasnt too thrilled when they wanted additional $50+ from a Chevy Cruze to a Nissan Juke? That would put the Juke at ~$90/day?Great experience overall.

This enterprise gave us nothing but problems just trying to rent a car. Never dealt with horrible customer service in my life till I came here. It’s my boyfriends birthday and we have to get a cake at 2. Been at the enterprise since 11:30AM. I don’t recommend coming here at all. I even let out my frustration and it takes a lot for me to get frustrated.

Hands down the best car rental branch I have ever been to. The manager and staff are phenomenal. My experience is 5 stars.I watched them deal with a couple of customers who were having difficulties renting. I was waiting for things to go south but they were so accommodating and kept everything under control with great customer service.Enterprise is extremely lucky to have assets like this crew onboard.

Excellent customer service from all three employees that I came in contact with. The young man that picked me up from home was very polite, and so was the lady that placed me in the rental. The gentleman that did the checkout when I returned the vehicle was also very courteous and pleasant. Awesome, quick, and efficient service all around.
ALL of the staff at Freeport Enterprise rentals are extremely professional, helpful and friendly. We have had a very good experience working with them during our week-long vacation visiting family in New York, as the staff at enterprise has been very accommodating in helping us get the vehicles we needed especially when we had changing schedules.
Amira, at main st, Freeport, NY, very rude..! was unable explain exactly what was going on with my account.. I think, people should be knowledgeable about what they do.. not just do things because it’s feels good to do it; thus inconveniencing the costumer.
The service was excellent. Pick and drop off were quick. I even had a discrepancy with a portion of my bill and they took care of it right then and there. Oh I have to rent a car again, I will absolutely go back there. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Great experience this past weekend renting a truck from this location. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for a long time but this was my first time using the Freeport location and it was one of the best. The staff was super friendly and professional - both check in and return experience were great. I was treated very well and everything went smoothly and quickly. Highly recommend this rental office.

Never received it and Enterprise is saying I did ( called the bank no record of this ever happening) - Tiffany the sales clerk who is beyond rude there asked me so where is your money? In limbo? as a paying customer that is something your client doesnt want to hear - and you as a business should be trying to make the situation right not saying i will get back to you by the end of the day - STILL didnt hear from them for another 4 days. I called today and he situation is still not resolved and she still has not contacted me me back either. ***0 stars*** you guys

In this place they make you feel nice when you come in, but they are money hungry. First they try to make me use their insurance by force and I have to argue with the guy and when I return the car they over charge me, I dont recomend this place.

I want to explain what is wrong with this business and why you find so many complains about people being extra charged, double charged, cases of upsale, etc at Hempstead location and other Franchise locations, and why those people, and maybe you can’t have your money back even after contacting the corporation Franchise seller.I also noticed that many people complain about similar amount of money being owned by 310 Main street Hempstead location particularly. It is about 270 dollars. looks like NJs owner of Franchise is short certain amount monthly to keep business profitable, because of with such terrible quality of both cars I was given there, that is obvious that they cant compete with others, so they, and it is not only case with this business, but many other types of businesses in provinces, who due to lack of income develops strategies to rob people!I am one of the people who was deceived on insurance claim rental for 30 days at 310 main street Hempstead location. I encounter a road scam in Hempstead conducted by group of people from Medina’s Finest Autobody, who at that moment looked as just helpful and responsible people who after being guilty in a road accident had their fault admitted, and rented for me a car. Few days later though, I had to call police to take my car away from their parking lot to another repair shop in NYC, car that they kept as a ransom. (That business has been under law suits and all governmental organizations punishments since then, and is facing revocation of license and prison for offenders). But, on July 13 of 2018 i didn’t know anything yet, and had a car rented by Medina, at this location, and of course had damage waiver, since those people pay. Few days later, after calling police on Medina, I had to switch to my insurance rental, and rented at the same Enterprise location, as it is just few blocks away from those peps auto body shop. When I was conduction a rental, I asked to make sure I pay nothing out of the packet and we had chosen a car under 50$ a day.30 days passed, I returned a car in NYC where I live, had 1 day of extra, and charge of 278.69 of DAMAGE WAIVER that they not supposed to include. I of course checked a rental agreement on July 18, when i had a second rental, but it was blank.I called costumer support many times and after first time it looked like there was a pending refund on my bank account, but then it disappeared. I called again and again along 4 months and was fed by answers like someone will contact you in 5 business days; There is no such thing in our policy that guaranties to you any responses in 5 business days - supervisor on second time replied; i asked – so, how long? - okay, in 30 days. No one has called me back to conduct investigation at any of my efforts.Moreover, after 5 months of unsuccessful efforts to receive a refund or at least a return call from Costumer Service of Enterprise corp, i came to the location to try to negotiate at least 50/50 of overcharge, and i was greeted with threats. That time I was in the town often due road scam courts and Sheriffs office, and I came second time to take a picture of Certificate of Authority that any consumer has right to have access to. Dominic Andreno, location manager, who wasn’t in the room at the moment I came in, called me back with a THREAT that is recorded. I was told you came in and took pictures of documents? It is private property and I will report to police for trespassing. Well, being intellectually un-developed, as many of small business related people in this town, Andreno forgot that such threat is going to work against him in the court.EVERYONE who has encountered this issue with this location or in general, please find me on Facebook.I have plenty of free time and have dedicated this year to punish any kind of small town STRATEGIESTS of unlawful and unfriendly practices. I am lunching the process with BBB, С Affairs, DMV who has power to revoke the license, Court. All organizations will have it on file.
My family and I have used this location a few times throughout the last couple of years. So far the service there has been great! They always have a car available to me when I need it. They do sometimes try to push certain promotions and upgrades, however that is something Im never interested in so they dont have the opportunity to scam me into anything. The only issue I do have at this location is the wait time. You reserve a car to be picked up at 1pm, but you wont leave the lot until 2pm. My advice is to arrive about 1/2 hour to an hour earlier than pick up to get through all that paperwork and preparation for the car. Other than that, this location has done my family and I justice!
I was picked up from the Auto Body shop I was fixing my car at. I get to the place, waiting there for half an hour, the lady finally calls me. She asks for the ID. She asked me questions with the worst attitude ever, as if she was paying me. Any way, Amir then took over and Called the insurance company which they didn’t answer, he told me to keep calling them until they answered. He also became rude when I sterted asking questions, asking me what I wanted to do. I asked him a specific question since he told me I will have to pay for the rental out of pocket for now. I asked him if I get that reservation number, will I have to pay anything out of pocket, he answers No. 3 days later I get the reservation number. I called him with it and he told me that they are not covering for the car I currently have, I told him I will return it and get a smaller one. I go on my lunch break, I wait there for half an hour before he tells me that I will have to pay for the FIVE days I had the car and after that, the insurance company will pay. He also decided to let me use the same car which is confusing considering the fact that he said the insurance is not paing fully for it. So I waste my time and effort just to get back with same car. So now I’m confused, he first told me no, and now he tells me I have to pay. I decided to solve the problem with the insurance company, they told me to supply a recipt for the five days I had the car so they can pay me back. I call Amir, and he said that I can’t get one until I return the car or I will have to get a different contract and wait there for 2 hours, that’s literally what he said. Now I started questioning why is it so hard to get a recipt for the 5 days I’m paying, which I already put 350 deposit for. He said, listen, you will get a recipt when u return MY car and hangs the phone.

Dont like this company esp the guy with weird looking hair at first they try to over charge me because idk if Im young female and dont much about cars yet when I insurance send me to them cause i had accident. Then I left few items in the car and they told me its in lost an found I couldnt get to go back for them same time because I am so busy with work when I do get to go back for my stuff they going to tell me they donate my stuff now I dont have a problem with donating stuff but why is that when I first call about my stuff why yall didnt tell me that in first phone call that very slack and disrespectful to me telling me after 30 days they give them away but they didnt tell me that over the phone at all and I just feel like that guy at front is rude and obnoxious

Had all the paperwork completed,explained a few things and I signed and left with my vehicle in less than 10 minutes.The location is a busy storefront, and a small office space but the guys in there know how to multi task and keep things moving.Thank you Enterprise, for a great experience and keeping youre customer’s happy and doing the right thing. I would like to take the time out to say that the service at the Freeport, NY location is the WORST customer service I have EVER encountered . They are a group of lying, manipulative, money hungry employees who will say anything to customers to get them into their store and to get their money. I spent the better half of an afternoon calling local car rental dealerships so that I could rent a two door sports car for the week. All of them told me that they didnt have such a car until I contacted the freeport location. The man on the phone was initially friendly and told me that they had what I wanted, and indeed had a challenger on the lot for me to rent. I sent my client to go pick up the car. Mind you, the man is going out of his way to do this and is pressed for time but made the effort to go. Come to find out the employee LIED. There was NO CHALLANGER let alone any two doors on the lot. Now I was stuck with no transportation, being that it was 6 oclock already and all dealerships tend to close around that time and EXTREMELY AGITATED. Of course those lying money hungry people tried to get me another car and tried to brush me off like I was the one lying. As if no one told me anything in the first place. They were very dismissive and did not care about the fact that I was clearly upset about the situation. I would not recommend this place to any decent person I know.

I am writing this review because this location mislead me into a multiple day charge when I only used the car one day for a one way rental to Milford Massachusetts. Per our agreement I was to pick up te car last Friday July 24 and drop it off by 4pm July 25 in Milford mass and I did. They claim becasue Milford was closed until that next mondy that I had to be charged for an additional 2 days. Why did you say that it was fine to drop it off there hen if we agreed to a one way one day rental there? You mislead me and lied to me and your customer advice is horrible. I have called 6 times and Lauren said she would fix it and refund me my money 3 days ago and nothing has happened and shes always out of the office when I call back. Do not use this location they will try and scam you by not giving you all the information and mislead you to increase their profits. Not cool. And I as only renting so I could get my niece home after her dad had emergency surgery. Nice.
This is the worst of them all. They can fk them selves. Over priced . No good. U need or want a specific veichle?... No ... its not available ... they barely have a choice. U can drive off in the tin can in the corner that no one wants. Drop off was a hassle. $ No easypass available. The veichle had issues. I Needed to take it to the shop on my time. It was not good.
