Im very pleased with the purchase of my 2003 jeep liberty good vehicle at fair price

Would not buy vehicleD from them most vehicles have issues and problems says they will fix do not fix only repair them for short term so they re break down very bad quality of vehicles. And also will cheat you on the price not fair value vehicles.

Their customer service leaves much to be desired. I needed service right away and totally understand that they could not provide it because they were busy. But they at least need to thank somebody for seeking their services. They just sat there, waiting for me to leave, which created an uncomfortable situation for me, as a customer who does not know them personally.Advise: Next time thank the customer for stopping by and provide some alternatives.Muchas gracias, pero no vuelvo más.

The owner was super friendly and helped me tons. Im so grateful for them in helping me with finding my dream car. When looking for a used car for a relative we wanted to make sure she was not taken advantage of.We went to Knowlton Motors and Jim was very nice and helpful. There were a few minor items we requested they check out prior to our purchase. They had taken care of them by noon the next day.When he told her the trade-in value of her car she had a huge smile and said “Sold!” They offer fair prices for buying and trading in your car.Rod was very helpful when doing the paperwork. It was so convenient to be able to have all of the necessary steps taken care of at their location.Super quick, friendly service!

I am not a current customer of Knowlton motors, nor am I family or friends. My review is given with complete honesty as all my reviews are. Four years ago I came to Freeport without a pot to piss in. Divorce and a disability left me in a bad place. The Knowlton brothers took a chance with me and financed a wonderful vehicle. They are honest and genuine guys with a business to run. The bad mouth reviews here are by those people who choose not to take responsibility and need to blame others for their mistakes. This was a stepping stone for me as it should be for most.

Rod is the man.. I can say from being a new customer that they really go out of their way to help the customers pick and maintain there purchase. Ive been to other lots for buy here pay here. And they made sure everything is working properly before delivery Ive yet to find another dealer in the area that matches there service and care for the customer. rod you have a customer for life... I just went in and the gentleman was very rude to me. Ive never been treated so poorly by a dealership as far as attitude went and they sell low quality cars for a high price. Do not recommend.

Im am now about to get my second car from them.... I will never trust anyone but Knowltons.... They are a very different type of business for sure.... They do business like no other .... They never are out to get your money and never what the other people that were speaking bad about them.... They mustve not done something right whether it was non payment or no insurance... Knowlton is always there to help work something out.... Im really convinced there is nothing they cant do for you.... Everyone that Ive dealt with there are nothing short of amazing....They are the type of people youd want to have a bbq with... Real down to earth people... I cant wait to get my enclave!!! You guys are awesome!!!! I will never go anywhere else!!!

I have honestly never felt so discriminated against in my life. Has anyone ever heard of a test ride? You know, where a salesman from the lot drives you around so you can get the feel of the car from the passenger side? Yeah, me either until today at knowlton. This came right after he informed me they dont finance to Rockford residents. He claimed it was do to 45 mile distance and no tow trucks. I guess that means they have enough issues with their vehicles that they need to be close. By the way, my home is 25 miles away. Not to mentiim I wandered both lots for over 30 minutes and not one of the sales reps asked if I needed help. I probably should have known at that point but anyway. Not sure what it was but they were from the moment I got to the lot not wanting my business. Sad thing is, I was referred by one of their employees, smh. If I could give 0 stars I would. With all the good reviews and the reference I was excited and just knew Id be driving away in a car today. Nope, never even got to test drive, SMH. Horrible experience!!!!

I bought an impala for the sale price. I have paid way more than that. Typical used car salesmen. Your best friend until you sign the contract. I suggest you use extreme caution with the paper work. Extremely disappointing.

Ive been dealing with Knowlton Motors as a client since 2010, around the time the brothers first open shop. Ive purchased two cars and a truck since our first meeting. Ive always been very happy with my vehicle, theyre friendly staff and repair crew and they worked things out for me when I was late on payments or needed repairs... In 2013 i moved 30 miles away from Freeport but Ill have repairs and adjustments at the Knowlton Motors shop before I even thinl about going anywhere else... because theyret business has always friendly and fair. Took my truck in last monday and the trans had no 3 gear so when i took it in i wanted that fixs a oil change a the engine scrvice light on i told rod do me a favor and do a oil change and fix what was for mpg on the light but when i went to pick it up i had none of the ligth fix but they did the the trans and the oil change they said i was to behind to put any more money into it then after i left the ing switch went out and they fix it but not every thing i want twice they did this.

Poor coustermer service. And they do not sell vehicles that will run a long period of time.

This is a pay here but here business. They sell junk cars for a high price with high interest. High dont recommend to anyone. Tried getting a car here and they wouldnt even let me take it. Then when I told them I was going elsewhere​ they stole my deposit on the car. $300+ went in the owners pocket and he denies all of it when hes the only guy I talked to there.
