Had an absolutely outstanding experience at Bocker today getting my oil changed. From making the call late yesterday and Aprils warm and welcoming reception in the service center to having the work done this morning by Dans team in the lube center and Rob managing a last minute request for a tire rotation.I expected the cost at a dealer to be much higher than the random chain lube centers Ive used in the past but it was not. It was moreeee than competitive and in a very professional setting. This was my first time using the lube center but definitely not my last.A shout out to the men that did the work. So nice to see a few young folks with a job and actually showing up.Thank you Bocker ... Ill be back!
I ordered a replacement fob and for $225 got the plastic case with no key. What do I do with that and why wasnt I told that was all Id be getting? Because I was going to program it myself and save $75, but had to pay another $67 for the metal key. Someone explain to me how this is normal business. Couldnt be happier with the man who sold me my car, but Service and Parts is a ripoff.
I decided to have new tires put on here and it was an awful experience. I chose them from suggestions and the fact that they can balance 20 inch wheels. I called several times over the winter and spring and got the same reply... we are into next weekI finally bit the bullet and made an appointment a week out. They needed the vehicle (2011 Dodge Durango) for the entire day. They were nice and dropped me off at home and picked me up when done. The staff are all very nice, the issue is with incompetent technicians.When I took a drive to Rockford I noticed that the steering wheel was shaking pretty violently. I noticed that one wheel had no balancing weights on it. Its possible, but since vibration was there then I assumed they forgot. I called and they had me stop in another day and added an ounce. That seemed to halve the vibration but it was still there.I took it back again and after a wait they wanted a test drive with me. At this point youre wasting my time and time is worth valuable money. The road was too bumpy to get a good idea and just gave in and said fine. I ran out of time.I drove to Florida and back a week or so after and on the smoothest highways my doors were shaking off at 65+. This made for a nerve racking drive and was pretty mad about it.When I got home I had an idea. I loosened all of the lug nuts. Some were maybe 200+ foot pounds and some were maybe 70. Torqued them all to 110 and boom absolutely zero vibration. They probably stretched my lug studs or even worse cracked a few.Point being... if a technician cannot even properly torque lug nuts then stay FAR away from them. Something so amazingly easy getting screwed up is ridiculous. It costed me time frustration and money. Do NOT use an impact to put lug nuts on!!!!!!!!! Duh... torque them in a star pattern the correct way with a torque wrench. Boils down to lazy and sloppy work.I definitely would never go there again and rarely trust mechanics for this very reason. Im happy they wanted to get it right but the simple mistakes are frustrating and cost people money and time. Beware. Never again.

Well you cant just walk out your front door and find a dealership that is kind and considerate to you and your financial situation that you are in the present moment. Bocker Auto group not only helped me find the right truck, but they did not try to shove any other vehicle or vehicles down my throat. The mechanic that worked on my 2013 Volt really stepped up, and busted his back to get the High voltage coolant radiator replaced, its really difficult to get access to the fittings and brackets. Plus reprogram the control modules.Thank you for your work.April, service manager kept me updated on the repairs.
