Very kind and helpful staff. They have TONS of retro games across all older consoles. Above that they have places inside to play video and board games live, they can fix a scratched disc and so much more! They even let you test out refurbished or used controllers before you buy just to make sure you like it. Fantastic retro gaming store that pretty much offers everything you can think of regarding games! Definitely recommend!!!

This is a great small business with employees who enjoy the hobby. There are arcade machines there, and if you ask them they will turn the machines on for you. The retro game prices are hit or miss but generally you can work with them to find a common ground. Trade in value is good as well. Never messed with cards so I cant attest to that part of the business. Overall its a great store with good employees and a very nice game selection (including rare and old games).

Very reasonable and helpful with everything. I never leave unhappy. Great selection of trading cards, comics, and video games. Shop has a very comfortable vibe to it. Prices are fair and any questions I’ve ever had have always been answered. This is the only place I go for trading cards and video games.

I have been going here for the past decade. Love this place! Always have hard to find games, trading cards and some amazing things you might have never seen before. This cute little shop is literally the best of the best!!! Whenever Im in town I make it a point to always stop by to say hi and browse and get my fill of childhood gaming nostalgia. There was a point in my life where I didnt have internet for 4 days and you bet your sweet butt I was there at Sages gaming until my hearts content. Sages shop was also there for me when I needed some quick cash and he took 100% of my gaming collectibles and games at the best price on the market and I was able to pay bills for the month! This is also the only place Im able to find all the pokemon single cards Ive been looking for to help fill in my collection. Thank you for being so awesome Sage!

Ive been coming to Sage for years now, spending countless hours on the Galaga cabinet, introducing my nephews to Pokémon cards, teaching them all about the games and consoles I grew up on, and witnessing the God-tier excellence that is Sage on Pacman. So many good memories, and lots of great people. Theres no second home like this.

It’s the perfect location right off of the highway and I happen to meet the actual owner in the store (Sage)! He was more than welcoming to me and very customer service oriented! Absolute joke of a store. They lie to customers about the value of items and try to rip people off. They want money for having items appraised and they dont appraise anything. They sit there and pretend they are doing work and then try to tell you that appraised the item.How are is store gonna charge $15 to google and call that appraising? They are absolutely full of it dont give these dudes business.EDIT: They looked me up lol. Hopefully they will not try to take advantage of potential future customers in the future.

Very unclean and sketchy looking place and so are the employees that work there. They are only interested in ripping people off and lying to their face about the value of items. They act like they are the only ones that have access to google. Such an embarrassing place.

I come down here pretty often. It has been okay. But they did something today that lead me to lower my review. I was looking for the new Pokemon set that came out today, and they had some! But they were selling them for $30 over retail. I couldnt find them anywhere. Its a cool shop and the employees are very nice, but their card prices are outrageous. $90 for a champions path elite trainer box lol. These are $50 retail and $70 on eBay. I understand they have overhead and rent to pay, but thats still way too high of a price. I feel sorry for any sucker who pays those prices.

Game stop recommended I try this place for an item for my son. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly. The clerk had a mask on, buy no-one else did. There was a group of people sitting at tables talking, no-one had a mask. Other than that, glad we discovered another place to find used video has.

Absolutely love this place! They have retro games, new games, trading card games, comics....they have a little bit of everything AND they even repair game consoles!! Best part though, you can go in to hang out if you choose to, theres no pressure to buy anything. Sage definitely has an excellent shop here & Ill recommend his place to anyone.

I am not a serious gamer but I came by this store today to purchase a few items for my son (a PS2 and some GBA games). The man behind the counter went out of his way to find what I needed and offered it for a great price. Amazing customer service, great selection (as far as I can tell), and honest prices. Easy 5 stars! Will visit again.

You may have heard about scalpers but I have never seen a actually business scalp retail products the way this place does. On release day charging 40+ dollars for the oversized first partner pack. Which is msrp 10, thats 4 times the market value. This place should be ashamed for ripping people off like they do.

Bought a 360 and plenty of games from here the past year. Unfortunately none of the employees wear masks anymore, even though there is a sign outside the door requiring them. Especially for a small space with 3+ employees in there at a time, I dont think Ill be coming back. Which is unfortunate, because I used to like coming in here.

I was looking for Basketful of Heads issue 2, which was sold out of the first two stores I went to. Sage was sold out also, BUT the comic guy gave me his issue! It was the nicest customer service I’ve ever experienced. And he convinced me to buy another similar volume of a different comic. I was impressed and appreciated his help!

Oh let me tell you about this place. I was referred cause I was trying to find parts for my GameCube that I couldnt find any other place. They went out of there way to get everything I needed. I will go back when I need more games. The staff was awesome. I highly recommend this place if you are trying to vintage games and parts. Right now Im reliving my child hood with a stack of Zelda games for my GameCube thanks to them. Go check them out please.

I went in just to see what it was about and was not disappointed. They rent computers for gaming as well as sell comics and games. I didnt think I was going to get anything but I ended up buying a comic. When I was checking out the owner was very friendly and offered to get more of that series if I liked it. The prices are very, very competitive. They also have a cat.This place has my buisness from now on.

Originally visited a few times to check out the retro games, ended up in the market for a new comic shop and its nice to have two in one. Great stop for retro needs and better than any other comic shop in the area. Great group of people as well.

Honestly one of the best shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across. Their stock is varied and constantly changing . Besides having many classic titles, I love the disc buffing service that is offered as well. For a few bucks, you can get disc scratches and damages repaired. I’ve had more than one game disc brought back to life with this service. Sage, the owner is very hospitable and down to earth. I live over 30 minutes away, but I have no problem making the drive because of my love for the store. I can’t say enough good things about this place, everyone should stop by at least once.

I went in here on two separate occasions to see if they could resurface an old PS1 game I had. Both times there was literally no one at the store who was an employee, just people sitting around playing video games. I assumed the employee was just taking a lunch break or something, and since it is a video game lounge the store didnt close per se for this break. So, I decided to just come back the next day since my problem wasnt urgent. When I came back, there still wasnt an employee who acknowledged me. I asked a random guy who was just sitting at a nearby table eating Chinese food where the employee was AND HE TOLD ME HE WAS THE OWNER. I had been wandering around the store aimlessly for ten minutes at this point right next to this dude, four minutes of which I was just standing at the cash register, and he was sitting right there the whole time and didnt say anything to me!In terms of the product, the selection is amazing. Any game that you remember from your childhood and wish you had now is probably in this store somewhere, but good luck because you will probably need to search the store yourself to find what you are looking for. A lot of people writing reviews also say that the prices are reasonable or even low, but I would warn a customer who is only looking at Sage Mantis prices that the cost of shopping at this store is very high. Most of the games are priced at the extreme high end of market value for the games, and sometimes just blatantly above the extreme end of market value for that game. I get that the guy needs to make a buck, but maybe he wouldnt need these high prices if he sold things to every willing customer who came through the store. I see a lot of good reviews on here, so I am certain that the owner is a nice person, but damn if he cant be bothered to put his food down to help a new customer out.
