My honest review of MSW Computer Services.I came to them seeking help for my crashed hard drive...hoping to have at least something recovered (I never backed anything up...which you should go do right now...). He recommended I get a new hard drive and he would set it up for me. So I went home and ordered a brand new hard drive. I took it to MSW the second it came in. Im pretty computer savvy, but I have never messed with hard drives before so I figured Id leave it to a professional to set it up for me. I dropped my laptop and brand new hard drive off with them in the morning. Later that afternoon I received a call saying that the new hard drive was faulty and wasnt working correctly...he recommended I return the brand new hard drive and buy a new one. As I was walking out the door, he dropped the bill on me...about $100. I was charged for not getting any of my files back at all and then ending up with a computer that didnt work due to a faulty hard drive.Well I took my laptop with faulty hard drive inside home and decided that I wanted to mess around with it. Well after about an hour of tinkering, my computer was working good as new. I had to reformat the drive and reinstall the OS, but it worked just fine.Nice people, but not a happy customer. Save your money and do a little research online before taking your computer to a shop, I wish I did.
