Im the owner of a car service, LUXtran, in Fredericksburg, and have only ever used this car wash sparingly because it is severely over-priced for what you actually get. However, today I decided to give the full service a chance to see if that was the magic this company needed, $34 for someone to do something extra.See attached photos.Ive already gone over some of the run spots on the window sills with leather conditioner and will begin using something stronger.I dont even want a refund. Just a warning for anyone who has any dark colors in their interiors.Also, as the pictures show, they use an abundant amount of tire dressing to clean the wheels (calling it wheel cleaner, probably so they can save the time/money to avoid actually wiping tire dressing off of coated wheel surfaces)All shiny trim in the car now has a glaze caused by whatever chemical they use to wipe interior surfaces.I will not be going back, and though currently thats no big deal, none of my future vehicle/s will be either until they hire and pay professionals or train their staff to at least screw everything up in a uniform manner.Edit:The owner, John Moorman of Lechugilla Ventures LLC, contacted my companys main phone line, and it wasnt until he knew there was a witness to the conversation that he offered any compensation. The phone conversation lasted approx 4 minutes, more than half of that was before he was made aware of the witness. It was only then that he made comments regarding compensation. Prior to that there was a vague threat and several jaw dropping moments where John demonstrated his lack of speaking skills and customer service.He was told in a public post to keep his money. (I cant quote my words, theyre against Google policies)

It costs a bit more but the service is great! A real person pre washes your car

It seems you need to be a little bit grumpy to work here. Not a friendly face or greeting the whole time we were there. Never been there before and it seemed to be a problem that we didnt know how things were supposed to fliw.

Always happy with the results for the most part. Just wish the under carriage worked.

A basic car wash was $14. Although it was a shorter drive through wash in length, it did a decent job overall getting the dirt off my vehicle. At the end, the blow drying could have been longer. But they do offer a dog wash area for you and your pets, starting at $10. I think that is a nice feature.

The employees working were very good. The waiting room had no coffee or water. The manager was not very personable.

Sign says $7 car wash, cheapest option was $14!!!! Very disappointed in being had. Also vacuums dont have a lot of power, was barely able to vacuum crumbs off the floor. I wont be back.

Car wash is over priced and employee is extremely rude, but unfortunately, it’s the only decent car wash in town.

I came by on a road trip not to long ago. I understand that theres been a lot of changes with whats currently going on in the world, I support safety and absolutely respect a businesses wishes to take care of their employees. However, I had one person in the car with me as we were passing through on our way across Texas and when I was told that I would need to take him away and leave him at home, that seemed a bit off. When I tried to explain that home was hundreds of miles away and I could have him wait outside somewhere, that just got me nothing but rude responses from the individual I was speaking to. I understand if youve actually been told by the city that only one person can be in the car at a time, but theres no reason to be rude when youre speaking to my passenger or myself. I dont really ever leave one star reviews, but I felt this was warranted for the way we were both spoken to in such a disrespectful manner.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. I have tried so often to use this company. The manager is rude and clearly does not want the business. I just left there for the last time and the manager and another employee are doing nothing. As they strongly encourage me to take my business elsewhere.

This was what I got for 15$. I went back ask the manger if this is what $15 dollar price gets me he said yes it is. Notice the wash says dressing on the tire and there is none. Don’t waste your money here. Click on my name to see pics and my other reviews that I have been fair on.

There was no $7 car wash option despite it being displayed on their front sign. The lowest price was $14 and it was a basic wash that should have cost $7.

Eady to use, water was warm, soap, towels provided. If you need extra time have dollars ready and put in before time is up.

Nice place to wash your car

My F250 needed a bath. First time to use this place. The attendant sprayed my tires before I went in wash job. My tires were shinny, so I opted out of paying extra for tire shine. The spray they used totally stripped the tire shine off. Had I know the cleaner did this, I would have paid extra for tire shine. I paid $13, but at that price I think the tire shine should have been included. I still had to use a towel and clean off dirt film on my tail lights. The brushes also slightly marred my clear coat finish on my new truck. It left swirl marks....no good.

Service was really good and everything worked well.

My wife took my truck to be washed and inside cleaned today, And Im usually not over impressed at this car wash just ok. but today Freddy done a great job the best I have ever experienced at any car wash ever. Thanks Freddy for taking pride in your job and being such a nice person my wife was super impressed with you and I was super impressed with how nice my truck looked.

Don’t usually go to these type washes but was going thru and my pickup was nasty. They did awesome!! Highly recommend this place if your there. Everyone was super friendly and didnt miss a spec of dirt!! And unlike most places the boss man worked as hard or harder than the hands. Thanks for the spit shine Colby and I will be back every time I’m thru there!!!!

Their express wash is great. Good pricing. Took away stars because the $18 option used to have a tire shine treatment spray. It is still listed as being part of that package, but no longer seems to work or isnt applied all the time. Went yesterday looks like it only applied to one tire so I wiped it off, as it looked strange with one shiny tire, time before it wasnt applied to any of the tires. Vacuums could be more powerful as well.

Car wash ok, Management is poor, bad attitude, thinks doing you a favor by letting you pay $69 for wash - then detail crew quick to point out what not is included, inside windshield not cleaned, rubber mats semi washed. Did not vacuum, places needs quality control check when car finished . Instead management stands around frowning, hard to understand how customers treated, in waiting room every single customer stating same

I got the full service “Ultimate” for $36.00. The detail guy was a perfectionist! My 4Runner is cleaner than when I bought it new! I’m SOOO happy with it! 🤸🏼

This was my first visit to this business. It was a Saturday afternoon and they did not appear to be too busy. For self service, prices appeared to be a little high. Employees did pre-mop the front and rear of the car prior to entering the wash. $13 was the basic Car Wash which was just soap. At $16 I believe you got tires spray cleaned and wax apply to car. Prices were higher if you chose Full Service (have the car dried off by employee) or if they had to scrub/ clean off mud.

Mixed results but a mostly good experience. Would recommend.

Awesome place! Super friendly. $25 for a car wash and they vacuumed the entire inside and trunk of my car. They even took out all the car seats I had and vacuumed underneath. Very happy customer, will be coming back!

It’s a fine car wash, and the free vacuums are great, but it takes way too long. I don’t see the need for them to have someone scrub the car by hand before you go into the car wash, it just makes it take longer. It takes about 15 minutes to actually get to the wash after paying, even when there’s not much of a line.If you have th time to spare, go here. If you’re in a hurry and just looking for a quick wash, go somewhere else.

As expected for a drive through wash, they will pre-scrub prior to entering the automatic wash which helps some. If youre looking for a wash that gets all the dirt in the hard to reach areas do the full service. Tip, bring towels with you if you pass on the full service so you can dry the vehicle and touch up the areas the auto system misses. They do sale towels for $1 but you need quarters.

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. I used the dog washing station and it was equipped with everything one needs to service their pets. The station was super easy to use and so much easier than washing them at home. I even accidentally left my wallet there in the frenzy to get my dog back in the car and a staff member brought it back to my house untouched!! Grateful that Fredericksburg has this gem of a business, with amazing employees to boot!

Vacuum area needs to be cleaned more frequently. Muddy and hate to vacuum car and get back in with muddy feet. Car wash is ok. Nobody spends as much time cleaning like they used to and its gone up.

Its clean and they make an effort to be efficient, whom wants to twiddle their thumbs at the car wash? Clean a car effeciently, quickly and finish your day. They try.

I’ve been trying to schedule interior detail, they told me I need an appointment but how to schedule? I’ve left voicemails and emails. I live 40 minutes away and don’t want to make the trip for nothing. I really want to give them my business and don’t want to drive to San Antonio or Austin but might need to after all.

Overall this place is a nice addition to Fredericksburg and was obviously needed. However, one of the employees working the car wash is really unbelievable. He starts out by yelling instructions at you and getting people very confused. He tapped on the ladys window in front of me and kept yelling instructions at her. We clearly heard him say put your foot on the brake and later claimed he was telling her to keep her foot off the brake. A similar situation happened with us. Either way, when someone is yelling at you it is tough to understand what they are saying. Honestly, I have had nicer drill sergeants. I have never seen anything like it in all of Texas. When I got the owner involved he did instruct the employee to stop yelling and barking orders (which he did right in front of him) and scolded him. After the owner walked away the employee tapped on my window and started yelling again. I talked to the owner again and he apologized and said he is a hard worker and it is tough to find employees. He said that he hoped that I would give him a pass on this one. I agree that the guy is a hard worker and I understand but you cant have an employee ruining someones day over a car wash. You also cant expect a customer to return after an experience like that if there is no refund or discount for what happened. You cant have it both ways. I have been there twice. I got the 29.00 wash on one car which was poor and this last time I got the mini-detail which was pretty good. I will not return though until it changes.

Not touch free. Dont know whos fault it is that they come up in search results for touch free car wash but they are not.. No legit reason either for a day n a half turn around to be refunded money if you chose to not go through with services once finding out they are not touch free. If you can charge your consumer immediately then you can refund them immediately. Otherwise its poor reflection of your business ethics.

Went to find out about their car wash and detail service. The young man was very helpful and friendly. I hear from an informed source that this company recycles their water. Eco friendly!

The car wash is very expensive and not good at all. Hardly cleans your car and doesn’t dry it at all. The vacuums are horrible and while leaving one of the employees hit my truck with the nozzle on the vacuum. I suggest not going here.

Very good job of cleaning my pickup

The attendant taking was not friendly or helpful. The guys cleaning the car didnt empty the drink console, or the ash tray, in fact left all the trash in the car. Still had coffee stains on the door panel. Not impressed. This place has really gone down hill.

Great for little cars but not so good for trucks and SUVs. Hit and miss prewash depending on what time you go. Their machines eat antennas so take them off prior to washing

Last two times I went to this place I had issues. Today they removed my cb antennas at the wrong spot and the wires and mounting studs fell out the bottom of the truck through the stake holes. They promptly fixed it but then as I look my truck over my chrome wheels have a dirty film on them. Im already aggravated with the antenna issue and when I pointed it out they told me because I was already irritated I was just reaching for things to complain about. I dont know about you, but I expect to get what I pay for in life.I cant believe for $28 my wheels arent even clean. Said I was supposed to spend more $s for the ultimate wash to have my wheels properly cleaned. What a crock! Ill never go there again!!!!!!

This car wash rocks...I visit every other weekend for the work truck. You get a prewash by hand sprayer before the drive through. Works great.

We had a full service exterior wash. The staff were friendly and we were happy with the car wash. Its a little on the pricey side for such a short car wash with out even a towel dry at the end, but we were on a long road trip and this was our only option.

Its ok but I felt like they hurried the job and didnt pay attention to the small things. I will try them again.

An absolute joke. I went in on January 9 and bought the #3 package. They removed the muddy front and rear weathertec floormats and threw them outside. Then they proceeded to do a sloppy vacuuming. Threw the muudy floormats back in. Inside of windshield had streaks and areas that werent even touched. Dressing on tires covered about 60% of each tire. None of the brake dust cleaned from the wheels. A $10 drive through would have done as good a job. I want to say, one young employee meticulously cleaned the vehicle next to mine including washing the weathertec floormats. The tech I got could haved cared less about the quality of his work. Pulled in from visiting Fredericksburg and just wanted to vacuum my car. That s IT. Owner told me its $5 just to vacuum. WHAT? Place is a joke.

I rarely do this, but this really was ridiculous. I purchased the $69 wash and detail. About 30 mins in detailing I was told my car was ready. Accompanied the young man to my car, tipped $5 and got in to find nothing other than a vaccuum and quick wipedown had occurred. I motioned the young man back, explained I had chosen and paid for their $69 service. He apologized and told me he had misread my ticket. 10 minutes more and he comes to get me again. Looked like all was well until I came out of HEB and opened my hatch. It had not even been vaccuumed. Ridiculous.

Excellent drive-thru car wash with soft brushes and wipes. Up-front treating of bumpers and windows and tires by an employee. Access to free vacuums after the wash. In my opinion, the best auto car wash in Fredericksburg.

The staff was very helpful with the removal of the many luv bugs embedded into the windshield and front of my vehicle. They took extra time to make certain all of the bugs were removed!

Since new ownership, I have been there twice. The first time I had to get the manager to re-clean my car due to there still being dirt smudges on the side of my door and still being dirty in the back seat. This last time my dad took it to be clean and when I looked at it there were still dirt and crumbs on the back seats and had to re-clean my floor boards. The front of my car still has bugs on it. Not worth the money!

Theyre never open! Tough to give you business if youre not open! Then once when you were open, the guy said come back at 2pm, we have two cars in front of yours. At 2pm I came by and a rope was across the entrance, preventing ANYONE from driving in! Beyond irritating.

The owner was rude to a family member of mine when he decided to back out of line and not get a car wash ( there was no one else in line) and the owner made fun of him for leaving acting like it was because my family member couldnt afford it. I will never go back here again.
