Took my car in on Saturday to have it looked at after the check engine and transmission light came on. They looked at my car and test drove it for me and found no issues. Not only was I relieved that nothing was wrong, they didnt even charge me! They also followed up with me days later to make sure everything was still running great. Very trustworthy and caring workers.

Had an inspection done. This is the only place, besides me, that works on my cars. Ive been using Rose Auto since the business started over at Four Mile Fork. Ive NEVER had a bad experience or anything less than a good experience. I feel theyre truly honest and a great value for the work theyve done.

Rose Auto Clinic is hands down the best automotive repair shop here in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Their Service Manager is top notch and their customer service cannot be matched anywhere. Our car felt like a new vehicle when I drove it home from Rose Auto Clinic and it performed great on our trip out to Charlottesville the next day. Darwin does a great job explains work that needs to be done or why something I think ought to be done is not needed. I am very thankfully for a friend who recommended we use this shop.

Brought two vehicles to Rose for the state inspection. Had minimal wait time and the inspections were completed within an hour for each visit. I immediately took it to Roses Auto Clinic because I trust them. I left my car to be repaired but I received a call from Darwin. He said that the tire rod did not need to b repaired. My father in law took his car for state inspection and the person who helped him gave a list of things to do in his car ... This would be fine in any given situation but most of things in the list where things that the car didnt require to pass a state inspection! He has an older model car and the mechanic told him that he needed to install a power steering when the car has never in its 20+ years had one... The list goes on in things they said that honestly its just them trying to rip off my father in law.. what gets me so upset is that they see a person like him as an easy target to take advantage off... We did go back and the staff was very rude.. my recommendation is to STAY AWAY!

Rose Auto Clinic is the one that my husband chooses often. He has some older trucks and the mechanics at Rose are incredible with his trucks. They have replaced the throttle body assembly on one, parts of the fuel system on another, brake work on one. You name it, they can do the job and they are reasonable on their pricing.

I came down from Wheeling, WV to buy a car in the area. Not only did they get me in last minute for a pre purchase inspection, but they were honest and thorough. Although I didnt purchase the car, Roses has restored my faith in the automobile repair industry. I wish I could find a garage near home that took as much care and time. I have come here for years now. I have come in with many problems expecting an expensive fix, to find out it was just a small super cheap (or even not charged) issue... when have you ever gone to a shop that wouldnt replace the system even if unnecessary? Not here! These folks really take care of you. I have NEVER had to come back for an issue that wasnt fixed properly, or left with additional problems that were not there before. Honest, professional, experienced... just all around amazing. Best car shop ever! They definitely deserved their 2018 best of the burg award, I only wish I had voted for them but I totally forgot (I rarely have to come in BECAUSE they keep my car in good shape)!

Started to come to Rose after a loss of confidence in another repair shop in Stafford. Even though Rose is 15 miles farther away, they are good mechanics for an honest price. One example: other shop quoted $1900 for needed repairs, Rose did it for $250.

I have used Roses for years but I think it is time for me to find another shop. in the past few months they seemed to be bothered with you when you stop in for service. My wife stopped in to have an inspection and oil service and they bring her car back in a few. After about 45 minutes another customer came in for service and was told he would have to wait 2-3 hours. My wife asked the person at the desk if she would also have to wait as long because she noticed her car was still in the parking lot. The response was yes, she would have to wait also. She and the other customer both left. I went in yesterday at 3:30 and asked if I could get an inspection and was told they were busy and could not do it. I asked about tomorrow and was told in a rude manner its a first come first serve basis and was shunned off while he answered the phone.I feel if I make an effort to come in and talk to a person that the customer who is calling can be put on hold and wait of a minute.Roses has lost my business.

I’m going to be forthright, wouldn’t come here again. Came in for an inspection and was told my exhaust pipe was cracked and that was why it failed, went to a different mechanic and it they found nothing wrong with my exhaust. Estimated repair cost from rose: over 500 dollars. Mm. Sketch!

These mechanics will try and take advantage of you if they suspect you don’t know anything about cars. I took my older vehicle here to get inspected. As I suspected, the car failed due to a couple of issues and Rose’s quoted $2500 to make it passable. Took the vehicle to a mechanic I trust and got everything on their list AND MORE fixed for just over $300. I’m sure these guys do good work, but they will oversell and scam you every time. If my car broke down outside their shop, I would push it somewhere else.

Greatest place that I know of right now. They saved me a lot of money on a brake job to get my car fixed to pass inspection. The other place was charging me double for the same parts and labor located were I am staying for now for my job in Chantilly. Plus to put a cherry on top they are going to drive my car to another euro specialist shop to get my ac compressor fixed so that I can pass inspection. Totally the best shop in town of Fredericksburg, VA.

We lived in Fredericksburg for 25 years and went to Rose Auto Clinic more or less exclusively. They are fair, courteous and informative. Ronnie and Phil are great to work with. I love that this company takes care of their employees too. I wish I could still go to them but we moved 3 states away. Those whove given them the 1 star, #1 Dont take care of their cars. #2 Dont have the $ to have the repairs done. #3 Are cry babies.

Pricey. Hit me with a lot of hidden fees after I was recommended there by a co-worker. But they also replaced a rotor for free.

Thus is a great place to take your vehicle to get serviced. The folks here are fair and honest, if there is someone that can do the job for less he will tell you. Fast and friendly service.

I called on Rose Auto Clinic to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car I was looking at purchasing from Elite Auto in Fredericksburg. I am from Vermont, shopping for a southern rust free car, and was planning to purchase the used car sight-unseen if it was what it was represented to be. Darwin and the others at Rose Auto were able to fit the job in with very short notice, and they were easy to deal with. They picked up the car from the dealer and did a thorough inspection. The detailed report was very helpful, and I ended up purchasing the car.My wife and I had the car shipped to Vermont sight-unseen. We could not be more pleased with the car, and we give credit to Rose Auto Clinic for helping us with an accurate and helpful evaluation. This saved us time and money. I have been using Roses since I had my first car 15 years ago. They are honest and competent. I would not go anywhere else.

I have a 1988 GMC S15 and when I took it to the dealer, they told me they could not work on vehicles they were not able to hook up to a computer. So I took it to Rose Auto Clinic and they have done the service on my truck ever since. They have replaced the throttle body assembly, repaired the A/C, done the state inspection, repaired the dash console, fixed the EGR diaphram and worked on it a few other times in the last two years. Being an older truck, they cant rely on the computers each time because they dont necessarily get codes from my truck. I am glad they can rely on good old fashioned driving it and troubleshooting when the computers are not available. They have my business for my older trucks without a doubt!In October 2019, I was having an oil leak problem with my 1957 Chevy truck. The team at Rose Auto did extensive troubleshooting to include use of dyes, driving, and inspecting the engine. After replacing the valve covers, they isolated the leak and had my truck back on the road in no time.Last week, 22 January 2020, the team worked on my 2014 GMC Sierra Truck. It had a service engine light that was isolated to emissions and I made the mistake of going to where I thought an emission specialist was. After having the service engine light still on, I took my truck to Rose Auto Clinic where they diagnosed the problem to my catalytic converter, thermostat and O2 sensors and fixed the problem quickly and affordably. These guys are experts through and through - I trust them with my older trucks and newer trucks without question.Saturday, 25 January 2020 - brought my 1968 Chevy C10 truck to get the brake lights replaced. They finished the job in less than an hour - very efficient!

I went in to see why my car was idling low and cutting off.. they claimed it was sludge in the motor and it was causing a false sensor to go off. They told me to bring it in every 500 miles to get an oil change for the next couple 1000 miles and it will work itself out this sounded weird but as I drove it, it just got worse so I took the car another shop... Turns out my oil screen broke there was no sludge or back up issue. Rose charged me 375 dollars to basically turn off the light and flush the fluids which did nothing. To top it off the man who worked on my car literally said the build up is making the engine act STUPID ... didnt even attempt to give me an actual answer as to what stupid was supposed to mean almost as if he didnt know. This other place is charging me 150 to actually fix the problem.
