First let me say this, if you have a German car make sure you bring your a** to International Auto Specialist. (Im so serious). When I walked in I automatically felt like I would be helped the correct way (at least I prayed I would anyway.) My AC was out for two weeks on my Audi A4, and I went to two different mechanics prior1. Neighborhood mechanic (yea I know that was dumb, you dont have to tell me) and 2. An actual shop mechanic that said they fix foreign cars 🙄. To make a long story short, I spent unnecessary money for my car not to get fixed. I finally had enough of this August heat and was suppose to drive to DC this weekend and there was no way I was doing it in this heat, so I found this place on Google, mind you its a Friday and most places on Friday are super booked, but they squeezed me in, found the issue and got my AC back working. I was so thankful I gave them a tip because they deserved it. I highly recommend International Auto Specialist. Im so sorry I forgot the mans name who I was talking to but he educated me more on my car and helped me understand why it should be serviced by the best. I will be back for all my service needs. Hi Bob - thank you for the opportunity to give some feedback. I am a new customer. I brought my Audi A6 to your shop for repair based on the star rating on Yelp. My car was in the shop for a week for repair ($1600) The car was driven home, and several days later driven 5-6 miles. And it started acting the same way so it was returned to shop 8/20/21). Aaron was kind to drive us home. I cant say that I am impressed with repair, but the office staff was friendly. Hope to get my car back soon.

Have used International Auto Spec for a number of repairs/car maintenance e. They are the most cordial and professional in the car arena. Very convenient location. Just gotta plan for maintenance as these schedules are tight (they have many loyal customers). If they have to order any parts you ga back into the cue and your competed repair/maintenance will be delayed as a result.

Fantastic service. My car has been there 3 times and they are wonderful. They are professional and communicate well with the customer. They call and update you on everything. Very honest and I would highly recommend them.

Ive had the pleasure of utilizing IAS 2 times for some major auto work. The one thing that I immediately took a liking to is their professionalism. They explain exactly whats going on and give solid advice.I felt like I was being honestly told what was wrong and never did I get a feeling like I was being mislead in any capacity.So far Ive dealt with Nathan and its been a pleasure. No gimmicks and they dont try to tack on things I dont need.I always go with my gut feeling and my experience has been 5*. The other thing that I feel good about is their price.I feel that their prices are fair (I do comparison shop) and all their work is guaranteed. This is my first time having an Audi and I didnt know just how expensive repair work could be in them. I initially took my Audi to the dealership and found out just how expensive repairs can be.This may not be others experience, but IAS did the same work on my car and it cost 1/3 of what the dealer had quoted. The same work and the same warranty and in one case, a repair part had double that of the dealership warranty.I feel Im beginning to ramble and Ill finish with this. Great service, great attitude and great prices. Thats been my experience and I highly recommend IAS for anyone in need of import auto service.

We have found our mechanic! Their communication is fantastic. You never feel like you are taking too much of their time. They figured out what was wrong with our car and gave us a detailed report of what should be done. The price was fair and the service was fast. We were considering selling the car but are going to keep it now! It runs like new. You won’t regret taking your car here!

It was my first time and they were great. Being that I’m a lady, you can sometimes have a bad experience. But not with International Auto, they were honest and very patient but also knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Dont take your vehicle here.Ive been twice. First time was for an inspection. They came out and told me I needed major work and would need to keep my car for days and cost into the thousands. I said no thanks and took my car to Audi Richmond who fixed it in an hour for $60 and thats with no warranty.I gave this place a second chance, just for an oil change because I understand that mistakes happen. Again, they come out and tell me I need major work and will need to keep my car, cost thousands, blah blah. Again, no thanks. Took my car back down to Audi Richmond. Again, fixed for $175.Now, either they are trying to con me or they have no idea how to work on Audis.Dont go here

The customer services was great very attentive to my needs and very professional the place was clean . I had drop my car off the night before . The next morning I received a call before my actual appointment time just to inform me that if I want to also replace my air filter. They had already started on my car . They also provided me with an ride to come in ick up my car after it was repaired. The young man who picked me up from my home was very nice in courtesy. Had a check engine light issue, oil change and state inspection. Had the brakes done and oil change . The only issue I had was when I arrived home I had to fill the window washer reserve. Normally that should have been done when they topped off the fluids so what else did they miss?

I really like this place. The staff are always friendly. Their work is great and their prices are reasonable. They dont sell tires, but will install tires that you bring or ship to them.

Had my Intermediate service for my 2015 Cayman S. Dropped it off the day before. they called with an update during the next day, then picked it up a bit later. No issues at all. Car was also washed, no obnoxious plastic paper floor mats that I just have to throw away either! All the staff and those coming in from the garage, seem to really love their cars and work. Friendly and happy to talk with you for a minute or two. Definitely my go to place instead of driving to Richmond to NoVa to get factory level service. I had used them before on a car I am restoring, and have always been pleased with their work, and attitude, cleanliness of the place etc. the owner is quite a nice guy as well.

The team had a genuine hospitality that you don’t see at most auto repair places. They informed me of the services my car would need and walked me through my options. No pressure, just great service.

Once again Nathan and Kevin came through for me repairing my Audi. It was a very long and tedious job sand took some time to repair but in the end they got it done. My air bag light came on and the culprit was due to a mouse. The little critter chewed on numerous wires that run along the entire right side of the car. After several attempts to repair it was determined to run all new wires. A big thanks goes out to Nathan who said to contact my car insurance company and what do you know, USAA covered it and the process was painless. Another BIG thanks goes out to Kevin, the technician, who was the one that fixed the problem but it wasn’t an easy one but he got it done. He took pictures of the damage and showed it to the insurance rep which was vital in submitting the claim.These guys are hands down the best and that is why they are the only ones I take my Audi to for any maintenance or repairs.Thanks again guys!!!

Had a coolant light that was coming on sporadically. Mike at IAS worked with us to pressure test the system and get the issue resolved quickly. They were so good that well be bringing our other German car there next week. May have finally found a mechanic in town that really knows how to service VWs.

I own a Jaguar XJL. There was some previous work done to the car and which turned out to be a complete mess. Mike and his team immediately took care of it. The suspension was off (right sensor controlled the left and vice verse)and hood sensor light would signal the hood was open while I was driving. I brought my vehicle in because it stalled on me, while I was driving it. I made an appointment for Wednesday so, I drove the vehicle to the shop on Tuesday, afternoon. On Friday, no one had called me so, I called the shop to get an update on diagnosis and was told they could not find out why the vehicle was shutting off during the driving process.I ask if they could test drive the car to find out why it was shutting off and left the car at the shop until Thursday. The shop called on Thursday, and I was told they were not able to duplicate the problem so, I picked it up but on Saturday, the car would not start. I waited to Monday, and called the shop to notify them I was bringing the car back to the shop because now, it would not start.I had the vehicle towed to the shop on Tuesday afternoon and Im waiting to hear back from the shop. Someone should have called me back with an update by now but, I will follow up with the shop because I guess they are busy.I understand the shop is busy but, hoped the customer service would have give me frequent updates since, my first experience was poor. The quality of customer care has not met my expectation. Im not happy with your service. Your shop was recommended to me by another shop, first time customer.

The guys were doing a state inspection and discovered the front brakes needed to be replaced. It was fixed the following day and was below the original quote. Communication throughout the experience was spot-on. Ill be going back to them again.

I had my car in here for brakes and they discovered it was something totally different with a cost of $1000. Hard to find car repair businesses you can trust. I trust this business. It’s a little surreal to give a 4 star rating for giving me bad news but my service tech Nathan was very knowledgeable and was able to clearly walk me through the numerous repairs that would be required. Even after deciding not to do the repairs because they were more than the vehicles worth he offered help in finding another vehicle or doing a diagnostic test on a newer car. From the time I called to obtain a cost estimate for servicing my Mercedes until I picked up my car, Nathan and Mike were very helpful, pleasant and professional. No repairs were made without my prior approval. Nathan let me know what and how much my warranty covered and what I was responsible for paying. He let me know what was necessary and what I could wait on and for how long. I appreciate their honesty and assistance.

IAS was recommended by Auto parts store. I found their service to be very professional and personal. I would return without hesitation. However, the diagnostics test cost in most places down in Atlanta comes off if they do the repairs, the test is a tool for the mechanics and only to customers if they take it elsewhere. But staff and shop is top notch.
