We had our wedding here and Frederick County Parks and Rec were very nice and easy to work with. The building itself is beautiful inside and out. Those steps seem to go on forever haha

Comfortable, and quiet. Great place for Friday yoga

A very inexpensive option for hosting any event. The chairs offered are not so pretty, but thats no surprise for any venue at this price. The best feature is the wrap-around Jack, which is incredibly wide and acts as an extension to the building. The event space is for the whole building, and it is separated into two rooms that joined together in the middle with four doors. The biggest downfall, no pun intended, is that there are about 40 stairs to climb before getting to the building. There is a little driveway leading up to building-level, but a) its steep, and b) theres only parking for 2 cars once youre there. So, if hosting a party with anyone with the handicaps, consider another venue. Or, perhaps, hiring a valet.
