I had a great experience with my friends and family for my Birthday celebration. They took care of everyone in my party with TLC. Even though this location was 50 miles away from home, we were treated like queens. Thank you!

This was a fabulous place to go during a visit to Frederick. I was between waxes at my regular place in Virginia, so I went to Verbena for lower leg and lip. Tamara was fast and thorough--there was no leftover wax anywhere when she was done. Ill return here when Im between services and need just one or two again, but the prices are prohibitive for the full service I regularly get in Leesburg.

My wife scheduled us a massage and facial for a relaxing day. I have only had a few “spa days” in my life all thanks to my wife. This place was amazing with the best service. I had a facial for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. It was an amazing experience and Miriam was the best! She is very knowledgeable and I have never had better feeling skin. We will be coming back again and again!

I have gone to different places to get waxes done before. By far, the best experience I have gotten is with Tamara. She is very good and makes your whole time comfortable while you’re there. She takes the time to get to know who you are and what you expect from a session which is great.

Recently discovered this spa and did a couples massage for a date day with my husband. The spa staff were professional and pleasant. It was clean and relaxing. The massage therapist was wonderful and I left refreshed. I returned the same week for a lash tinting. The Esthetician Miriam was friendly and my lashes look great. We will return for additional services very soon. Highly recommend.

This was my first time at this spa, I had a therapeutic relaxation massage, foot scrub massage and scalp massage by Tina and it was one of the best massages I have had! She did a great job focusing on my problem areas with the right amount of pressure. I also enjoyed a facial by Addey who was also awesome and the products she used left my skin glowing and healthy. I left there feeling so relaxed and pampered! I will be returning in the near future as I am sure I found the best spa!

Sandra gave me an excellent deep tissue massage today! The stress has gone out of my back, neck and jaw. I highly recommend her and Ill definitely be back!

I just had two treatments at Verbena Spa last week and was so pleasantly surprised at the level of service. The massage with Tina and the facial with Miriam far exceeded expectations. Both ladies were professional and very skilled at what they did. My only disappointment was that Ive waiting so long to discover this spa. Ive definitely found a home (already booked my second treatments) and look forward to returning knowing Ill get the best treatments around. As a side note the front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service all the way around.

I was really looking forward to getting a pedicure after a year and a half of not getting this service done due to Covid. I picked this salon based on the services offered and the great reviews. The pedicure was advertised as 45 minutes for $45. I wasn’t asked how I wanted my nails shaped (trimmed vs filed), the massage was a very short 2 minutes long per foot, and the whole service lasted 30 minutes. I’m sorry but I didn’t feel like this was salon quality and it was expensive for what I received. Besides that, the salon is very clean, pretty and has a nice spa ambiance.

The relaxation massage with Sophie was absolutely amazing! This is the first massage where I was actually able to relax and almost fell asleep! Worth every penny spent!

My first visit was excellent. I was very skeptical coming to a spa with the craziness of the world but I needed a facial and massage. I tried hot stone for the first time and it was nice. I doWish I went with a regular Swedish massage though I believe I would be more loose but not any fault on the their part. Omg Miriam was amazing she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the facial my face feels amazing!! I will definitely be coming back for both massages and facials in the future !!!

Miriam is absolutely incredible! I got the elemental facial and have dry skin and really needed a pick me up. Afterwards, my skin was hydrated, plump, and glowing! Can’t wait to go back.

I had originally booked a pedicure for the next day but I had said if anything cancels let me know. She calls me 5 mins before service and said can you make it for a pedicure. I said I live 10 mins away she said that was fine. I get there apparently I was booked for a mini pedicure which they said was basically a polish change. I was not told this over the phone! My pedicure was a VERY rushed pedicure to say the least. I also got a facial right after. The lady was quiet the entire time (I’ve had many facials and they ALWAYS tell me what they are putting on) next day I woke up and I have a rash all over my face. I will never be coming back!

Got a pedicure at this place and I have got to say absolutely not a spa quality work!Could use the money and get 3 pedicures somewhere else! Honestly I have gotten the same job at a normal nail salons with much more advanced quality than this one.

I went to Verbena a couple of days ago for a Brazilian and I was not disappointed. Miriam was fabulous. She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and honestly just a delight to be around. She took her time and did a wonderful job. I was very comfortable the whole time. I will definitely be going back for more services!

I have been getting facials for over 20 years. Miriam is the BEST esthetician I have ever had. I’ve lost count how many years I have been going to her exclusively. Her extraction are what make me drive 30 minutes to go see her. Verbena is lovely and so very lucky to have her!

I have been to their old location in downtown Frederick. The new location is very nice and modern! The ambience is very relaxing! They provide a wide range of services. Staff is very nice and friendly! Highly recommend!

I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. It was super relaxing and everyone was especially welcoming. I showed the nail tech a picture of the nails I wanted and they eneded up looking better than the picture. My mani-pedi was very relaxing.The technician who waxed me was very sweet and easy to talk to. I will definitely will be goi g back. Overall a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend!

I went in for a brow wax and loved it! The new location is relaxing and beautiful. Miriam is kind and friendly. She took her time and gave the gentlest wax I have ever had. She was very precise in waxing my eyebrows and clearly is incredibly knowledgeable in her profession.

I was there for the very first time and I must say I love it. After 3 months of quarantine I needed a Brazilian wax. Miriam V. Was an amazing esthetician. She was sweet, gentle and did great conversation! If anyone is there for you to go to. It would be her! This location is so big and beautiful. Best of all its very clean!

My massage was as relaxing as a job interview. The therapist did not try to make me more comfortable. They were more concerned with getting their fee than my experience.

This isnt any normal hair cuttery, while you could certainly get a normal hair cut there. The entire place is designed and looks amazing and the hair cutters there are friendly and talkative. Would definitely go again.

Ive had massages before, but I opted for a deep tissue with Verbena and Tina who was amazing. Magic hands. I was having issues with my IT bands and they felt so great when I walked out. I wish I had scheduled a longer massage. Front desk was very welcoming and warm upon my arrival. Look forward to going back.

I purchased gift certificates for my mother and sister for general services. The ladies at the front explained the services the spa offered and helped me tailor my gift amount to what they offered. I felt very welcome and my mom and sister loved their experience. I highly recommend this spa.Update: The new facility is amazing. My wife and I had a couple massage this past week, wow. They did an incredible job. Its great to see a family business doing well and developing property in Frederick.

Visited Junia for a full set of lashes and I could not be happier with the product or the service. She took the time to ask questions, view photos of what I was interested in and she created exactly the look I wanted. The spa itself was clean, gorgeous, relaxing....I cant wait to go back!

The facial was excellent!!! The mani and pedi was the absolute worse I have ever had. Looks like I painted my nails myself with my left hand, I asked multiple times to correct it and the response I got was, it’s fine! Even though I hate the mani and pedi the staff was nice! Won’t come back here for my nails though

Had a massage and wasnt overly impressed. Im no massage expert and my only other one was in a nice resort in Maui so I may be comparing a Ferrari to a Kia, I dont know. The massage wasnt bad, but it wasnt great. Also a bummer to have to leave your massage and walk downtown to a garage. Would probably only go back if we had another gift card. Otherwise Id try other places.

When the place i was going to stopped their waxing services i was hesitant to go anywhere else, i came here and it was great, Makiko made me feel comfortable and asked what i wanted for my bikini wax. Ill be going again!

They are unable to do gel or acrylic nails. 45 minutes after leaving 3 of my nails chipped off while I was shopping. The pedicure was nice and would recommend but I would not get my nails done there again.

Wouldnt go anywhere else in the entire DC metro area. Waxes provide great results and dont irritate skin. Makiko is very thorough.

I am a regular customer and usually always happy with my service, however, the front desk had booked me at their customer appreciation rate and then called me back a half an hour later telling me they did not have enough Aveda Massage Therapists and that I would have to pay full price. I requested to speak to a Manager or Owner and she replied she could not get in touch with either one. She called me back right before closing so I could not reach her for a reply. She offered me a facial for the discount and told me I could cancel my massage appointment. I booked a massage, not a facial and I feel this kind of cold response unacceptable and the customer service was very unaccommodating. Feeling very disappointed. This was Sunday, April 22nd, 2017. This review is for the front desk only. Connie is my massage therapist at Verbena and she is absolutely amazing!!!

Ive been coming to this salon for the past 5 years and their staff is simply amazing. They are friendly upbeat and they really make you feel like youre at home. Junia is my esthetician and I always look forward to coming for my routine torture...ie waxing... with her. Just know that if you do choose this as your place to relax you wont find another like it

Not what I was expecting for the price. Just a normal but expensive mani/pedicure. Worst gel manicure ever! After three days it was peeling already. After a week I only have 3 nails with the enamel left. Couldnt go back since I was going out of town. E-mailed them with the gel situation and they did apologize. Ladies were friendly.
