I am out of words. Fantastic customer service. They have it all. I have been coming to this laundromat for a while now. they are open 24 7.First time I used their dropoff service and check the meticulous folding below. there is no turning back now.

Quaint little laundry room. Was very nice when we first started using the place to do clothes 3 years ago. Last two times there has been a stench ( a musky smell). My husband and I sit in our car while clothes are washing and drying.

Needed to get something washed for the office. My first time using a laundromat and it seemed simple enough. The washing machine needed $3.75 and the dryer needed $0.25. Theres an ATM across the street at the convenience store and this location has a change machine. The wash load took about 23 minutes and the dry load takes about 5 minutes. (I did the dry load twice because I used the low setting at first but it didnt get completely dry.) Plenty of street parking around this area, too.

I travel VERY FREQUENTLY for work and my job landed me here in Frederick, MD. I am very picky when it comes to choosing a laundromat. I found this laundromat and it ticked all of my boxes; the place is very clean, the drop off service is affordable, and the employees are VERY nice and ACCOMMODATING. I have yet to have any issues and have been coming here now for four months.I have had issues with other laundromats losing my clothing, bleaching clothing that shouldnt have been, and ruining my clothing. I have never had that issue here.4TH Street Laundromat even allows me to pick up my laundry on Sundays from a designated locked area when no employees are available.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THEIR DROP OFF SERVICE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I go all the time. Usually not crowded. Sometimes the employees are doing customer laundry. I try to stay away when thats going on.. but other than that - super nice people and employees, there is a security camera. Usually clean. Open 24 hours. Tv with cable.

I’ve been using 4th Street laundry for about a year now & they are amazing! Efficient, friendly! & I’ve never had any issues with my clothes. I love them! I was pregnant with my daughter this past year & couldnt really do the laundry for my family of 4 already & they just really helped out a lot! I’ll continue to use them

I love this laundromat, but they do not have 24 hour surveillance. Around 11:30pm, I was doing laundry with my husband and a homeless man was smoking drugs (was definitely not a cigarette).It was a very UNPLEASANT experience as the whole laundry mat smelled like the drug. I had to place a heavy object to keep the door open so the outside air could air out the place. Overall, great machines. Just needs more security or smoke detectors.

Last week I visited this laundromat to get my winter clothes and king size quilt washed. I was impressed that they had top of the line dexter washers and dryers.As soon I went in the store I met this friendly attendant Tatiana there. She told me to drop her laundry and pick it anytime after 2 hrs. I went back to the store after 5 hours and all my laundry was neatly folded and wrapped in a plastic cover. I was thoroughly impressed to find such kind of service available in Frederick.Wish this service is there forever. Keep up the excellent service guys.

I have been coming to this laundromat for over 6 months.This laundromat is godsend. Me and wife come every week. Staff is super friendly. I have tried their wash dry and fold service but I have been tempted too. Maybe I will gift a card to my wife this Valentine’s Day.

There was a huge flood in our home so we had A LOT of mildewed laundry. The staff came and picked up our laundry and professionally cleaned and folded our laundry to perfection! It smelled amazing, and it was folded and sorted Beautifully! They delivered it to our home the next day. I will sing their praises forever & their staff was so kind. Thank you again! We will call you all again! Your services were amazing!

Great customer service! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The laundromat itself is clean and well-maintained. I used their wash and fold drop-off service 2 days ago and I was very pleased with the overall experience, plus it was very affordable at $0.99/lb! We travel the country for my husband’s work and have used several wash and fold services and this place by far is on the top of our list. Our clothes were washed according to our special requests, they were folded perfectly, and ready for pick-up on time! Even though there is another laundromat closer to us that offers the wash and fold service, I will still drive 33 minutes to this place because I feel more comfortable with the staff and I had a great first experience. Only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was there’s not much parking available besides the 2 side street parking and the garage next to the laundromat which seems to be always occupied. But the parking situation is understandable as they are located in the downtown area of Frederick. I just double parked in front of the cars parked in the garage and it didn’t seem to be a problem when dropping off and picking up our clothes.

I discovered this place about a year ago, and had such high hopes for it.The two women who seemed to be in charge were very polite and friendly. I dropped off my laundry, paid in advance (including a sizeable tip every time) and was told when it would be ready to pick up. To me, that was very important since there is no parking for this place, and I have problems walking.The last time I was in my laundry was not ready at the designated day and time. There was no phone call to tell me there would be a delay (even though they insist on getting your phone number whenever you drop your laundry off). Nothing. When I asked when it would be ready, no one seemed to understand English and just looked down at the floor. I got the message.Very disappointing. I hope theyve gotten their act together. Frederick needs a good reliable pick up place like this, and for a while the employees did seem to be trying. But I wont be going back again. They lost a good, reliable customer who tipped quite generously.

1st time patron- called to use the pickup/drop-off service. Kevin returned my call within minutes, clothes were picked up same day and returned the next day. Very pleased with the communication, professionalism and how easy the whole process was.

Came in to do laundry at 1:15pm on 011520. ALL the small commercial washers were being used by the employees. Had to use 2 Speed Queens in the back. Noticed water in the bottoms when I put my clothes in. Did 2 loads. Clothes were sopping wet still and didnt get clean. Told the woman working. Had to fight with her to be able to re-wash them in a different machine. Had to use double the soap and softener on my wash. Took over twice as long from having to re-wash again on my only day off. She was mean and scolded me saying They work for everyone else. Took my wet clothes with me and went up the street to NOMA laundromat to dry as the employees were using EVERY dryer that works. This place is not a laundromat its a laundry cleaning service. Customers dont matter and they dont care. Worst treatment ever.

Since the recent new management took over, this place has really been overhauled (in a great way!). Very clean. Machines are a little pricey. Vending machines and a TV. They also offer drop-off laundry services (and possibly delivery?).

My favorite laundry in downtown. Safe and well lit. Good hours but on Sundays is overrun with those who waited until the last minute to do their laundry. Owner says hello every time he sees me there. Only down side is sometimes TV is too loud and depending on which dryers are working drying can be a challenge when customers from one side spread their drying out to so many dryers on both sides of laundromat, have had to wait to use a dryer right next to the washer I used.

I love this place! Mark is awesome, the facility is clean with state-of-the-art equipment and security monitoring which makes it a safe place! They even gave my my 1st delivery on the house. I said it before and Ill say it again...I love this place!

Update on my original review: Ive decided to update this to 3 stars for 2 reasons:1. The hilarious response from the owner about me being too busy writing 1 star reviews. I respect humor.2. I know it is difficult as a small business to receive a 1 star review so to be fair, the other machine worked.Original review:The large machine in the front was broken but had no broken sign. Wasted $6.50. Had to hit the emergency button and restart load in a different machine. Called the phone number on the wall and nobody answered or called back. I’d like my $6.50 back. I’d also like the time wasted back as well.

First time wanting to use their services for drop off. I was so excited and looking forward to using this place after all the reviews I read. Unfortunately, when I arrived the window for drop off was closed. There was no note stating when and if someone would be in. I called the number listed online. When the female answered she stated that she would not be in for maybe - around another twenty minutes. Really?? I explained that I wanted to drop off before 11am in order to take advantage of the same day service. She said for me to leave my clothes by the office door. What?? No way.. there are patrons there and any one can take them. Seriously?!?! Then I asked her what time tomorrow would be good for me to drop off. I was told they are closed on Sundays. Huh?? Their website says 24 hours 7 days a week, I’m so confused and SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!

Its a laundromat. The machines arent super expensive, the staff was nice the only time I saw them. I havent seen any homeless people sleeping here unlike the other one right down the street. The soda machine actually works and it has wifi. I dont really know what else you want from a laundromat.

I reviewed this laundromat three years ago, but I just wanted to update my review to say its still amazing as it was! This time I used the pick up and delivery laundry service due to a broken washer and I was so thrilled to come home to freshly washed and perfectly folded laundry at a reasonable price! Wish I could do this every week! I highly recommend this laundromat.

Used to be good, now the machines dont fill with hot water. They still take your money ok, though.

I had been using this laundromat for over a year and I was very impressed and satisfied. The management and owner were great and very accommodating. Well as their business picked up they hired a young lady and thats where the service began to go down. Whenever I had an issue the young lady became irritated and seemed displeased that I had anything to say at all. The last straw for me was when she stated I complained all the time and always had something to say. I told her absolutely when I am spending my money expecting a facility to be clean. There was vomit all over the floor on both sides of the laundromat and when I complained to her she stated I needed to talk with the owner and she did not have the telephone number. When I did speak to the owner I told him I would never return unless he removed that young lady. Needless to say I have not been back and wont return.

The facility is well maintained with a large number of washers and dryers that range in price depending on their capacity. The location is right off of North Market and easy to get to. There is a significant lack of parking convenient to the laundromat. I completed three loads of adult clothing and one load of childrens clothing for under 40.00.My only negative comment about this laundromat is that the information on the website is not accurate. There was no attendant when I arrived at 0930 on Saturday, and the attendant didnt come until almost 1030. I wanted to use the drop off service but ended up doing the clothes myself due to no attendant being onsite. The website says open 24/7/365, but the phone message says 0600-1000 PM. The vending machine is limited in its selection and is high priced.

Ive only been here in the evening when the staff is gone for the day, but the place is kept up so nicely that I imagine the staff are great people. Never encountered any loiterers. I can get in and out in about an hour typically, even when laundering bulky/larger items.

I used to like doing my laundry here, its nice and clean here and its cheaper than most other laundromats and its downtown so you could walk around while waiting for your clothes!

Frederick was needing this place a looong time ago!! First thing you notice when you come in is the smell of cleanliness!!! No more dirty floors with dryer sheets all over the place, moldy washers, and bad smell like other Laundromats around Frederick!! This place has a person all the time cleaning and taking care of the place all day, also they have a drop off service the lady in charge Tatiana is a pro!! she takes great care of your clothes!! And if you cant drop it off they will PICK UP your clothes from your house and deliver it back!! Snack machine, working T.V, and a clean restroom!! Felt secure while washing my clothes. Highly recommended!!

I want to thank Kevin and Beverly for the outstanding customer service I received over the years of using their drop off services. I traveled to Frederick on business several times in the last 5 years. Each time I am in town, 4th Street Laundromat is the only place I trust to get the job done right. I drop off my weeks laundry early before going to the office and it is done and ready to be picked up (or they will bring it to me) later that morning. The electronic invoicing is convenient too. Many of my co-workers use their service as well, as we are typically working nearly 80 hours a week. For great prices and great service, please do not look to anyone else. Good laundry, in an older building that has a slight smell. Parking is at a premium but its downtown so you cant expect better than that its free.

If you need to do some laundry in Frederick, this is a good place to go.

Says 24 hours when I searched it. The open sign is always on, but they aren’t. Went to do my laundry at 430am cuz I get uncomfortable around people, but even with the open sign flashing, And all the lights on, the door was locked.
