Very pleasant, great customer service skills. Would recommend this business to all my friends
These guys are great. Polite, helpful and knowledgeable. They saved me over $100 and a couple hours compared to the dealership.I needed to get my VW key reprogrammed. They took care of it in no time, while I waited. Not only that, they walked me through the procedure so I could understand every step.Open and up front. Just plain good service. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
He was very professional and the service was great. He knew what he was doing
Originally went and received remote that worked correctly, went back about 2 weeks later because it stopped working, he said his computer was broken so came back a week later and he tried and said something was wrong with my car but wont give me a refund even tho I gained nothing from experience, each trip to him was 50 mins 1 way, alot of wasted gas and all for nothing, very unhappy
Great service, quick and efficient.Very fair pricing. Never go to a dealer again for replacement key. The Keyless Shop is awesome.
I bless this keyless.
Clerk was friendly and accommodating. Work was fast and professional.
Nice Gardens, Greenhouse and Mansion Art Collection.
They were great! It was a one hit and it was a homerun!
Very fast and helpful! I went there to change my smartkey battery and they changed it in seconds. Also the prices are way cheaper than any car dealership. Definitely recommended!
Kevin was great! Got a key fob replaced and programmed for half of what the dealer wanted. Definitely recommend them.
Great service, cheap and quick.
Dont use this guy. out of the 32 google reviews, i found 10 were 1-star. now its 11 out of 33. not good to have a third of your reviews as 1-star complaints. i had to call him 3 times this morning to find out when he was coming out, and he ignored my first 2 calls. after i threatened a bad review here and on yelp in the 3rd message i left, he called me back, but by then i got a good recommendation from someone else.
Great job!
Bait & Switch......or Sketchy. I cant decide which title to use. Both apply.I needed a spare key for a 2012 Honda Accord, so I called up The Keyless Shop (co-located with Sears in Frederick) and asked how much for a replacement key. I was quoted $65, which was a good deal. And I confirmed that included cutting a new key and programming the remote. So, I sent my daughter to get a key made and the guy told her $125. She called me while there and I told her to ask about the $65 that I was quoted. While on the phone with the line open, he raised the price to $150. When she said, You just told me $125, he got an attitude and told her it was $150.(BTW, even the price on the companys web page states $75 for Hondas:Most Japanese vehicles (Toyota remotes, Lexus keys, Nissan remotes, and Honda remotes) most remotes are $75 programmed to your car.)This is such appalling business behavior, Im stunned. And the fact it is sharing space with Sears adds another nail to Sears coffin.STAY AWAY!!!
Had 2 key fobs that needed to be programmed for an 09 Ford Focus. Got there and they had them programmed in like less then minute and only $50.00 for the pair get programmed way cheaper then a dealership
Kevin (shop person) very friendly, and informative. Very reasonable. Would absolutely come back should the opportunity arise. Trip worth every penny.
Great service. Great price.
These folks have helped me with many cars with multiple key issues. The pricing was always reasonable and we have yet to have a single failure through the years so I cant speak about warranty. Nice one stop shop for keys.
The technician wasnt willing to program a fob I bought on Amazon and pushed my wife to buy one from his store. Nissan and Infiniti have used the same fob for years and the tech told my wife he needed a part number (I purchased genuine Nissan parts). He sells fobs and refused to put in the model number he uses for Nissan/Infiniti that he sells, telling my wife that if it didnt work she would be charged an additional fee and be forced to buy one of his anyway.Since I cant reply to Sears response: my point is that Nissan has used the same remote for years and the technician had this information but would not enter it yet continued to ask my wife what the part number was of the remote she brought with her. This coupled with his repeated warnings was direct sales pressure period. My wife did not have the part number and called me, I asked that she request the technician to input the information that he would use for a Nissan remote he sells that would correspond to the year of my wifes car - he WOULD NOT DO IT AND continued his fear mongering in an effort to sell a remote.
The evening guy is Awesome! Very fast and nice. Thank you.
Great experience. Kevin treated me with respect and got the job done in no time. Everything worked well the first time with no issues. I would definitely recommend this shop.
Been doing business with The Keyless Shop guys and only have good things to say. Kevin is a pro when it comes to car keys and car remotes. He will save you hundreds off dealer prices. This is the best automotive locksmith store in Frederick Maryland hands down.
I got my key about 6 months ago. It randomly started to act funny so we thought it was the battery. When we opened up the key to replace the battery we found little pieces of folded up paper holding things together inside. When we took it back to the shop, the man working told us that if a part falls off they will typically just shove paper in there to hold it together. When I stated that they sold me a faulty key he even said that technically yes they did sell me a key that wasnt completely good. And then he said he would not do anything for me since I did not have the actually receipt with me. DO NOT BUY KEYS FROM HERE THEY SELL YOU FAULTY KEYS AND DONT FIX THE PROBLEM WHEN A PROBLEM OCCURS THAT THEY MADE HAPPEN!
On Saturday 8 Sep, I contacted this shop because I lost my car keys while running. The person behind the phone, Kevin, initially was very responsive, but after a short while his responsiveness diminished. I was stranded in a small town west of MD, but that didn’t matter because Kevin never showed up, nor he had the courage to call. He lacks of commitment to excellence and word as a man.
Friendly service & for pricesOnly downside is that as a small business, there are times when it says that they are open but they are out helping a customer remotely.
They were great- came to our house to program our key.... took a little longer to get there but made up for it with service!! Awesome!
I got my car keys locked inside my car and they helped me also got a spare key and remote too they have a good service From now on i will be bringing my cars.
Great experience, had everything I needed and cut my key for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
The second time in two years visiting Keyless Shop. Prices are reasonable and the staff have always quickly taken care of our programming needs.
Very good. Price is greatt
I had a terrible experience with this establishment. I called and Kevin told me hed be in the office by 10 the following day. I arrived at 10:30am and the doors were still locked. I waited for an hour. The shop didnt open until around 1:00pm. Eventually, he (Kevin) begin programming the two FOBs I brought with me. After 3 hours of waiting he was unable to program the FOBs and disabled my car in the process. Apparently, his failed attempt to properly programmed the FOB caused my cars computer to enter a safe mode thereby, locking my ignition. So, my windows and sunroof were down and the ignition was locked. My car had to be towed to the dealership. NINE.....YES NINE days later(the dealership had to replace the ignition, the remote sensor unit and program the FOBs) I went to pickup my car from The Keyless Shop and they still charged me. The customer service was horrific!!! I had to call daily to get a status. I wouldnt allow to program my garage door opener for free.I would be remiss if I fail to mention they offered me a rental and covered the cost of the repairs done by the dealership. The inconvenience and poor customer service was a nightmare.
They were quick and fast! Did a great job for a good price
Good prices much better than dealerships.
They made a post on facebook stating they were cheaper then the dealerships and quoted prices. I was initially interested as I need 2 keys made but wrote a reply to their lie about being cheaper as follows and was banned from their fb for calling them out. Welp ya lost my buisness and everyone i know thanks! :) My comment Thats not cheaper. Mines a 2015 Chevy laser cut key and at Fitzgerald (Gaithersburg) it was $50.00 they had it in stock and was done on the spot. All the other dealerships wanted $125.00-$150.00 to send it off and do it. Also watch for any place telling you they need to program it to the car. A simple youtube search will show you how and save you the extra $100.00+ in labor. All i had to do was put my old key in and turn it to acc then take it out and turn the new one to acc and then try the locks and it was programed. Also look online alot of times you can just purchase a new shell and put the internals in it.
Can not get the key that we aid for months ago, they keep claiming that whoever cuts key made mistake. Will not agree to refund. This has been an issue since Jan, its now May.
Great service low price ! Saved A ton of money
Those guys are AWSOME!! Will be using them for all of my future locksmith needs!!
Excelent service and low price.
Based on the reviews, I called this store before it opened at 10 am on a Saturday. I decided to start driving to their store since I didnt get an answer. While driving, it turned 10 am so I called the store. I waited for over 10 minutes for my call to be answered but no big deal, I was driving and close to their store. A young lady answered and gave me a quote for my replacement keys. I tell her I am pulling in now to their store so Ill be right in. Imagine my surprise to arrive to the lights being out, front door locked and no one in sight. I ask the employees of Sears and they let me know that the store is NOT affiliated with Sears, they simply rent space. I ask if they have seen anyone today, they say NO. I try the number listed on the door...no answer. I try the number on the paper taped to the window Help Wanted and no answer. The Sears employees bring me a card from the Keyless Shop with an entirely different number listed and I call. It is now 10:26 am and the guy identified himself as Kevin. He tells me hell be about another 20 minutes or so before he is going to arrive?! So are you open for business or NOT?! NO, sorry. Seems very sketchy to me that you have storefront location with clearly posted hours and there is this much run around....
Service was fast and reasonably priced!
Kevin saved me whole lot of money compared to the dealership and gave me pefecrt customer service
Did not call back
Good place
Excellent deal for what would be truly overpriced at the dealership.
Showed up twice, once at 9:30am. Sign on door said business hours 11-6. So I drove back out around noon. No one there.
