I’ve been using The Cleaning Authority for many years. In this time, we have always received reliable and consistent service. A household with 3 pets, it is important that they are safe and don’t escape during the cleaning service and that they’re treated well by the team. In the last few years, we have done more working from home and have the chance to actually meet and speak to the team. They are always polite and friendly.

We just had our 2nd cleaning with TCA and they do a great job! I love that they have an app to track your cleaning schedule, add payment methods and get an alert when they are on their way. My kids love that they make cute designs with the towels, toilet paper and set up their stuffed animals in a neat way. The house is so clean when they leave and that I only need to wipe up the kitchen and vacuum the main level for the most part between cleanings. It’s worth every penny! I compared several companies before selecting this one and I am very happy with my decision. We are a family of 7 so keeping up work work, schedules and cleaning never resulted in a clean this great.

The cleaning crew did an excellent job. They lifted things on the floor and furniture to dust and vacuum. They cleaned the way I clean! I appreciated the visit from the quality assurance person.

I hired them for a one time clean. On their own paperwork, they said that they would focus on the floors, but they didnt bring a vacuum or mop. They didnt use mine either. They used Swiffers. I had to ask for them to clean up stains on the wood floors that they missed. They dusted areas that I asked them to leave alone, (knocking over my husbands collectibles, which is why we didnt want it touched in the first place) and missed obvious places like the tops of tables in the living room. While everyone I worked with was pleasant and professional, I cant recommend them for a one-time clean.

The Cleaning Authority of Frederick made finding a cleaner very simple. The initial clean they did was wonderful and Team A (Treasure and Isaiah) did a great job. Im excited to keep using the service!

The women who clean my house are very kind, and maintain a positive attitude, and are very good at what they do. I had a unique situation in that I needed something done for 15 minutes with me that was considered “in addition” to what they normally do.I wanted my baseboard radiators vacuumed in two rooms, A bathroom and a bedroom.The reason for this was that a piece of jewelry, a small pendant, had fallen off my dresser, and was missing. My thought was that my cat had knocked it off the dresser and had played with it and it may have been pushed under one of my baseboard radiators.So, my plan was to remove the radiator metal end caps, their front metal panels, and use my Dyson which has an attachment appropriate for this, along with the vacuum cleaner that the cleaning ladies have for the floors and we would do one full floor vacuum sweep and vacuum the tops of the radiator coils also to remove dust while they are exposed.When I requested that the cleaning ladies vacuum the top of the radiator coils, under my supervision, their supervisor said that this is not something that they are allowed to do.She mentioned that they could physically hurt themselves or possibly damage my radiators. I was going to work with them, under direct supervision. I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner that has a brush attachment that would keep their hands away from those radiator coils by at least 8 inches.I am willing to offer extra pay for something that is a little different than their standard cleaning. I want to work with a cleaning company that has some flexibility. I understand the company protects their employees from a liability standpoint. I offered to supervise this effort, I was going to use my vacuum cleaner that had a brush attachment so that my radiator coils would not get damaged, and I simply asked that they work with me on this project for 15 minutes before they leave. I was on a time crunch because I am self-employed and had to return to work in less than a half hour.The ladies were very cooperative but were not allowed to assist me according to their supervisor. They were also told that they were running behind that day and still had one house to clean before they could go home that day. I asked them how long they had been at my house and they said two hours. It normally takes two women up to six hours to clean my home. So I thought we had a little bit of leeway and flexibility, but apparently not.I asked that the company provide me with documentation that helped to clarify the reasons for these employees limitations in this case. I was told that they have nothing like that, and that it is just not something that their employees do. This kept getting re-stated to me over and over without further embellishment.Finally, after 10 minutes, I decided it was no longer relevant to continue the conversation. I thanked the company for their time, and did state that I would no longer be willing to continue to utilize their company for cleaning services at my home. I asked them to cancel my contract, and she, the supervisor, simply stated that “that is fine.”At minimum, I would have appreciated that in light of the fact I was not satisfied, I would have been offered an alternative. Perhaps a company that does custom work, that goes a little above and beyond standard cleaning. Nothing was offered, and I truly felt like it did not matter much to the company that they have lost my business. I do hope that this type of situation Will not be an issue for any future customers that use this company for cleaning. Thank you.

I have been pleased with our overall experience so far. They added a service to my bi-weekly cleaning that I requested. When I have questions they get back to me right away. I had one issue and they offered to send someone right out to correct it which I thought was impressive. They have been amazing at keeping our pet hair under control.

I have used The Cleaning Authority at my previous home in Leesburg, VA and I decided to use them again when I moved to Frederick. I love The Cleaning Authority and their professional service. I like how there is an initial A clean and then B clean and after those initial cleans, it will rotate. The staff are professional and are very responsive. One of the other things I love about them is that they are affordable! Most of the other cleaning companies that I have inquired were just out of the price range for us and seem to be a bit unreasonable. The Cleaning Authority still offers the high quality care that their competitors offer but at a more affordable price. I would highly recommend them!

Today our home was cleaned by Team 9 (Jessica and Treasere) and they did an excellent job! They allowed us to stay upstairs while they cleaned the entire downstairs and then switched so we were downstairs while they cleaned the upstairs. Everything looked sparkling and smelled so good when we came downstairs. Nothing better than a nice clean house!!

We love the terrific job Team 3 (Kayla and Gabrielle) does cleaning our home. They make it spotless and also take time to add a few extra nice touches. They are great with our dogs, too. Lizzie is the team leader and a delight to work with, and Heather, who sometimes accompanies her, is pleasant, efficient, and loves dogs (which is a big plus for us--and our dogs). After years of private house cleaners getting comfortable and cancelling the morning they are due we decided to try a professional company. And we are very happy we made the change. We have been using The Cleaning Authority (Frederick) for quite a few years now. The teams are always professional and courteous and do a great job consistently.. We have been extremely pleased with Marys team of late,. She is one of the trainers and clearly is very helpful with guiding her staff in understanding what the customer expects. And if on occasion there is a special request, Brian and Holly are always willing to try to accommodate . Recommend them highly.

I am very impressed with the quality of work performed by this cleaning team. Everything looks so nice when they finish. They work quickly and efficiently. I havent seen my stove or refrigerator shine like that since the day they were purchased. They leave behind special touches, such as folding the towels in the bathroom in such a beautiful way that it looks like a work of art. There are a few areas that needed a little more attention, but I am sure that will come with time and being familiar with our home. The owner Brian is very responsive to scheduling needs. The main person in the crew, Rachel is steady and good at what she does, which is very important to me. They are dependable on a week to week basis, no worrying about them not coming at all as will happen with a one person cleaner. Staff is respectful and responsive. The bathrooms are usually great and the kids rooms look so cute with their stuffed animals all arranged. The main two things for improvement overall would be the floors - both the tile and wooded floors. The other thing would be to have a good steady partner for Rachel - dont always make her the trainer. It is a hard job and I appreciate knowing that they are reliable! Thanks!

I have been using the Cleaning Authority for 3 or more years now and I have had some ups and downs in the past, but overall I am very happy with the service provided. The ladies cleaning for me, Jessica and Alicia are very courteous and correct anything that needs correcting with a great attitude. They are doing an excellent job!

We had our first cleaning (Clean A) yesterday from the Cleaning Authority yesterday. Our first meeting with Brian was excellent and he answered all of our questions. Nicole and Shannon were awesome! They were very nice and did well with our dogs. Nicole and Shannon are an excellent team and I highly recommend The Cleaning Authority.

The Cleaning Authority is #1. Their staff is extremely courteous and very professional. We had Team 9-Shannon and Madison. They were fantastic and were clearly prepared with all the special requests we made at the initial visit. Their attention to detail was spot on! During the cleaning, they were flexible and went out of their way to accommodate us. We were thrilled with the end result and very impressed that an inspector came out afterwards to make sure everything was done right. We have set up once a month cleaning and very much looking forward to their return. Our only regret is that we didn’t hire them sooner.

My daughter had been stressing for me to give them a try after I had gotten so frustrated with my prior cleaning experience (please dont tell her she was right)!Having used several different individual cleaners we were surprised at the reasonable rates and efficiency. After meeting Brian and learning that they were a family owned business it made the decision to give them a try an easy one. The one time I did have a small issue they were quick to get that taken care of. Thanks to Brian and his staff on a job well done!!

Shannon M and Shannon B cleaned this week and did a good job. I have used Cleaning Authority for years and have been satisfied with their level of clean and service. Although problems are rare, occasionally an object has been broken. The cleaners have left me word and the office has either replaced or repaired the item involved.

When I first spoke to then I told them I did not want a feather duster used at my house I wanted everything polished. I was told no problem. I think this was the only thing used.They charged more money for the first 2 deep cleanings and I am not for sure they did any more than a normal cleaning. They missed cleaning lots of items in the house on a weekly basis. I fired them and would not recommend them.

I love my house after Team 6 has been through, leaving it sparkly clean. Tina works around my dogs - however many are around on a particular day - and although Megan is new to me, my last cleaning was superb. I feel I should also mention Halea and Shawn who have also been part of the team but were not here last week. They always do whats needed - not just whats on the paper so I am comfortable going about my life and letting them get on with it. As Team Lead, Tina makes sure everything is done the way I like and I respect her for taking the time to care about the little things that make the big differences.
