I have never been in, appointment or none, without waiting nearly 30 minutes. The last repair I had in took a while and still came back with no wireless service. I bought a new laptop for convenience and was told they would fix the computer if I bought the part. I asked how I was supposed to know what part and was directed to go to a computer and they could help me. I probably should have asked for my money back right there, but it keeps going. There are no in-store repairs, I guess the pandemic, though a disinfectant wipe would allow repairs on all the equipment that people pay to have protected. Cap it all off, the live chat is not live, so there isnt even online direction. Plenty of great computer techs out there, I would recommend finding one of them and avoiding the box store.

I had insurance on the phone I bought at Best Buy from Geek Squad. I took the phone in Monday afternoon and my replacement arrived at my door on Tuesday morning.

Not very professional at all to me...Several times left a repair to them and they wait days to weeks for a job to get done and when they do them you can tell it was a rushed job and at the last minute despite making me wait for long.Often times I turn things in to them and it goes in with one problem and comes back out with 2-3 other problems with the first not even being resolved.Only two Agents there are HIGHLY skilled and professional. Agent Noah and Agent Daimian(think I spelled it right).When ever I turn something in to be repaired or installation and one of those two Agents are on site the job gets done in either the same day or one day.Those two are always *cleaning up* the messes of the other Agents.I Give 5 stars because of those two only...

Great computer geek squad service. One technician on maternity leave so it took a little over a week to get computer restored. Received excelllent, personal, professional service by Geek Squad staff. Would suggest Best Buy Managers have the ability to bring in staff from other stores on a temp basic to help out during peak periods and staff shortages. An temporary interchange reassignment of staff between stores.

Dont even attempt to contact them by phone. I have been on hold for 30 minutes to simply CANCEL an auto stereo installation at their location - as a courtesy to Best Buy. If they cannot answer the phone, I cannot cancel my installation appointment.

The best way to describe them would be theyre okay. Not horrible but out of the 5 times Ive had them look at my computers only once were they very knowledgeable and helpful. The other times were subpar or mediocre at best.

I am extremely pleased with the service that I received from Geek Squad and in particular Noah Covert who was courteous, professional, thorough, competent and didnt charge me to repair my Android Smartphone (the Contacts werent syncing properly). I recommend Geek Squad for anyone requiring electronic equipment or home appliance repairs.

I dont understand how they are best of Frederick for computer repair. I went there thinking that if theyve received that award this was something they could easily fix.My hard drive got fried by them, they said I signed a waver claiming if something got damaged during the repair its not their fault. Im sorry but no one has enough time to read the fine print. Please avoid this place at all cost.

Dropped off a laptop for simple diagnostic screen. Said it would be less than 5 days. We’re now on day 7. Can’t get a person to pick up a phone in ANY department. Call and select geek squad option and it’s all automated and you can’t even understand the status message. Frustrated doesn’t even being to cover it.

Made an appointment for a Dell laptop that would not power up. At the appointment, they plugged in the power supply and said “You’re right it won’t power up. We can’t do anything here, we have to send it to our service center in KY. It will take 2 to 4 weeks”.I thanked them for their in depth assessment and told them that I would seek out a local solution!This was a TOTAL waste of time!
