We have used Dans Air a couple of times and I have to say, it is worth it. They are professional and courteous. They helped me keep an aging system going and when I needed to replace a unit, in the middle of an equipment availability shortage, they hustled to find a unit and got one installed the next day. I highly recommend them!

Had an excellent experience with them. I’d been bounced around from company to company through my home warranty and Dan’s responded the same day I called them. They were able to repair my furnace in one visit and were extremely professional. I could not have asked for a better experience! Would recommend them every time.

Scheduled an estimate for A/C heat replacement a week out. When I scheduled, I asked for them to call me with a more exact time the day of. I was given a window of Noon to 4pm, made myself available for that time. No call, 4:15 comes, and I get a call that they are on the way and an apology for being late unfortunately I had a work appointment from 4 to 6pm so that didnt work. Im VERY tired of businesses that give horrific windows of time (try two hour windows that some of your competitors have moved to) we need to have available for them to show up and have no shows or late calls. I understand that things come up, but with todays technology and cell phones, understand that your customers time is JUST AS VALUABLE as yours. Be professional. Update from owner see response below. Dans provided a professional and reliable service. Dan came and fixed my ac and talked to me about the upkeep of my system (1991, old system)! He was able to find the part needed to fix mine locally and returned quickly to get the job done. Didnt try to talk me into a new system, but I will stick with Dans Air until that time comes! He knows what hes doing!

These guys are great. They installed a new HVAC (heat pump) and have come out twice when something wasnt quite right. Dans Air installed a new A/C unit and furnace for me in August. After getting a few bids for the job I decided to go with Dans Air . Dan, the owner of the business came out and presented me with a few options and I was impressed with his knowledge and experience. There were no pressure tactics that I had with others and Dan also had a fair and reasonable price for the equipment installed. Other companies advertise that if you call them, Its a good call... you can do that but you would be foolish if dont give Dans Air a call and see what they can do for you.

We had just moved into our new home in Urbana and was having issues with the heat pump, we had another company come out and fix the clogged condensation line. They did not fix it properly and wanted to charge additional labor if they came out again. Instead we called Dans Air, Dan responded in person and was out the following day. He was able to explain what happened without degrading the other company and was able to inform of what went wrong with their fix. He gave us a fair price, was clean, fast and added some services that went above and beyond our expectations. Dan gave us a realistic estimation of the time left in our unit without lying to us to get an immediate sale. We will call Dan with any additional concerns and when we are ready to replace. He called me on Saturday evening and right at my door on Sunday morning at 6:45am. He came in and fixed my AC on Sunday morning (One of the hottest day). Dan runs an honest and timely ship. While we did have a 5 week delay from when our air handler broke and when the new unit was installed, the delays were on the end of our home warranty company. We have lived in our home for 5 years and have had issues with our (original) gas furnace / HVAC from day one. Very honest and fast to respond to my need for service on my hvac system

The company was fantastic with their response and service. Our heater had issues yesterday and we called our home warranty to schedule service, Dans Air called me within 5 minutes to set a time and had the parts to fix job on the first visit.

So we had an A/C problem a few years ago and had 3 or 4 companies come out to try to fix it through our home warrantee company. None of them cared enough to take the time to fix it – they all spent about 5 minutes “diagnosing” the problem, spouted off a solution, and then wanted their “deductible” payment. After a bunch of run-around, Dan came over and was fantastic. He acted like “our problem” was “his problem” and he ACTUALLY FIXED the system. We were so impressed with him that we signed up for a “maintenance contract” and now he (or one of his people) comes over twice a year to make sure all is running well. It was TOTALLY worth it – haven’t had a problem since. In my opinion, his service it top notch. . .worth every penny. . .no more stress since using Dan’s LLC!!!!!!!!

I found Dans Air about two years ago through my home warranty company. I have been very pleased with all of my experiences with this company, from regular seasonal checkups to minor repairs, and--most recently--a completely new HVAC system. When my old HVAC system failed, Dan analyzed my home and its existing duct work and gave me three great options for a new system. My new HVAC system provides vastly improved air circulation and comfort in my entire home, with special attention to a previously stuffy family room on the lower level. The outside unit is much quieter than my old unit. I now have a great smart thermostat and a humidifier. All of the employees from Dans Air have made it easy for me to communicate with them by phone and/or text, and have been very responsive. I always felt confident that my business is important to them.

They are very responsive, fair in pricing and when my heat was out they made sure to stay on top of installing the part as soon as it came in. Very happy with the service and friendliness of Dan’s Air from their office to their technicians.

Dan and his technician went above and beyond on the replacement of our 40 years old furnace. They helped us navigate through the options and deal with our insurance company. He also gave some recommendations on how to address the lack of heating on our halfbath and followed up to make sure our new furnace was working how we wanted it to.
