Wursters was a surprise! I called about a car we bought and had been serviced there. When I arrived my info was already in the system with the car, and I was welcomed by name. I was floored. They kept the car for a day and had it back on the road ready to go. I wont be taking the car anywhere else.
Very good repair place. The people are extremely courteous and professional. My service was performed promptly and well, and was very reasonably priced. Based on my experience, I can recommend them highly.
Best service Ive experienced with car repair.
The people at Wursters care about the needs of their customers. they handle things in a timely fashion they have a high attention to detail and they listened to the concerns of their customers. they dont overcharge, if they see that something is not needed to be done they will inform the customer of it. they make sure that everything is done safely and properly. I highly recommend anybody go to Wursters!
They seemed honest and quote was reasonable for what was provided for service on our Volvo. There was a cheaper way to repair the part rather than replace, but they couldnt warranty it if done that way. Would take our vehicle here again.
Got us in real quick. Very nice people.
370Z convertible top stopped working. Pretty complicated electronic/hydraulic system. I had worked on it myself, so I know. Mike and Jake took care of me and had it analyzed and fixed later the same day I dropped it off. Very fair price and very courteous and professional. Highly recommend.
Very helpful and practical in their recommendations. Trustworthy and fairly priced. Have brought 3 of our cars to them (BMW, Honda, Toyota) .
Always helpful, always professional, always conscientious and honest.
Just had brake flush on my M3. Great job, took me early and cost less than quoted. Great folks. I highly recommend them.
Wursters is a wonderful experience, highly educated mechanics, wonderful owners, and fair prices. I send all my family and friends there!!!
I do my own auto repair so I had the slightly odd request to press a wheel bearing onto an Infiniti G35 hub. After multiple other places turned me down, Mike made it all simple. All done within an hour for a reasonable charge. And it was perfectly done without any damage to the hub or bearing.
Took my Mercedes there for a starting issue... $800 later and it still won’t start!! Left several messages and Never heard back!!! It also DEVELOPED PROBLEMS IT DIDNT HAVE WHEN TAKEN IN!! TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE BUT HERE IF YOU WANT IT FIXED PROPERLY!!! WORST Experience with Car Repair Ever! Learn from my mistake....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! ZERO stars!!
Honest repairs at an honest price. Always consistent
Great service, knowledgeable staff and excellent times.
This repair shop was once one of the best places in Franklin for repairs however, growth in the company and staff changes—have diminished the workmanship and moral uprightness.
Took my 2004 Honda S2000 here for issues I have had on it for a while and I am so so happy I did. I was lucky to spot this place online, my car had quite a few things done to it and it was finished in such a reasonable time. I highly recommend this shop, they know what they’re doing, couldn’t thank them enough!
I cannot say enough nice things about Steve Harris at Wursters. I have a 2006 Audi A4 with a soft top that wasnt working. We had taken it several places and no one was able to repair it. We had almost given up on it hen someone suggested we try Wursters. The initial assessment was extremely high, but after thinking it over (the car runs beautifully) we decided to go ahead and let them try to fix it. Imagine my surprise when less than a week later saying it is now working great and the cost turned out to be a tiny fraction of the original estimate. This tells me they are not only great mechanics, but honest as well. We took the car on vacation last week and it was glorious to be able to put the top down once again.
I used to go to the dealer, but these guys do good work and dont try to rip you off. What more can you ask for?
Honest, Trustworthy, Reliable and Very Competent.Wursters has demonstrated to me that they are people you can trust to do the job right ...and if something goes wrong, they step up and do the right thing. Mike is a man of integrity...and he has shown me in the work and care he takes for his customers that he can be trusted...and frankly, there are others who could do the job...but I prefer working with people I can trust. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I was passing through, in a bind and needed a quick simple repair on a Mercedes. Although it was a Friday morning, I lucked up and found these guys! I arrived at their ship about 7:45. After explaining my situation, they went straight to work. I needed a sensor and I was extremely surprised to hear they had the part in stock! I could not believe that a family owned independent shop stocked non-maintenance parts for a 9 year old Mercedes! By 8:30 I was back on the road! The labor and parts prices were extremely competitive. Fast, friendly, and good pricing!
Been taking my last few cars with them. They have not let me down yet. Great seevice!
Great place to get your car repaired or serviced. Good honest guys that run this shop. If you have a European vehicle or not these are the folks you want working to get you back on the road. Check them out if needed, you wont be disappointed....promise.
Excellent service, never have to wait long on my repairs. Great group of mechanics who really know their stuff.
My friend recommended them to me and they do excellent, honest work. The owner is very conscientious about repairs that need to be made immediately and repairs that can be deferred until the next service. These are good people and they do good work. They give me a military discount and I appreciate that. They have repaired my BMW 530i, my Jeep Wrangler, and I am taking my daughters Scion in to them tomorrow for a service.
Mike and his team always do an amazing job with our cars. They are friendly, responsive and thorough. It is a pleasure to do business with them. The work is always well done at a fair price in a very timely manner.
Great service and attention to detail.
Wursters is not like a fancy dealership service center but its the best place you can go to get the high quality of car care we all want. Its a small family business. The staff is friendly, professional, and honest in delivering you the best service possible. I know this first hand since Ive been going there for 15 years. I appreciate all that they do each time I go there.
Serpentine belt on my 528i broke and I had it towed here. They diagnosed it as catastrophic engine failure. They said the belt had been wrapped around the main crank pulley, sucked into the engine and destroyed the water pump. Quoted almost $4000 worth of work. Said that he had only seen the problem twice in his career. I had the car towed home and sat on it for a while as I had another car to drive. I told a buddy about it and he got curious so we pulled the main pulley off ourselves. The crank seal was 100% intact. The belt did get wrapped around the tensioner pulley, but that was a $26 part. The water pump only had a broken electrical connector that we were able to repair. All in for parts at about $150 vs $4000 that this mechanic quoted. To top it all off he said that no one would buy the car or trade it in, but to help us out they would buy the car from us for $500. This is the only time I have tried this shop, but if you get a high repair quote definitely get a second opinion.
Ive been going to Wursters for years for my Mercedes and BMWs. Wursters has always done good work on them and they back up their work. Now I have an old Corvette and and old Ford diesel truck. Last year, I basically had the fuel system rebuilt on the Corvette. This year, they worked on my Ford and did a splendid job on both. I highly recommend Mike and his mechanics.
Own a 79 VW that Wursters have been servicing for several years. They are always fair and honest in pricing repair parts many times from multiple sources to get the best available pricing. The repair and maintenance work is provided by top-notch, skilled, knowledgeable mechanics that take pride in their work. You can rely on the work being done within dollars of a given estimate, on scheduled time,, and right the first time. It has been a pleasure to do business with the Wursters...and I look forward to them keeping my Bug on the road for me in the future.
Mike is reliable, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He is also very caring and understanding about the frustration that comes with servicing your car. He has always gone the extra degree to insure that parts and service were reasonable and affordable. I have been taking all my four vehicles to Mike for over 20 years and will continue to as long as he remains in business. He has also been an excellent consultant for my buying used cars. He tells me the good and bad points of any car that I have considered buying which has given me a sense of security in putting my kids behind the wheel. He does stay extremely busy so keep that in mind when you need to get a car repaired.
Weve been dealing with Wursters for 3-4 years now, and we wish wed found them earlier. Theyre maybe not the cheapest guys in town, but, their work is quality and they stand by it. We were recently quoted $3,000 for a job by another mechanic, Michael detected some dishonesty in the quote, fully explained to us what was going on and and fixed the issue at a fraction of that. This included cutting us a large break for a part theyd previously fixed that had just passed the warranty period. He could have easily charged us $2,000 or more, and we would have trustingly paid it, but he didnt. They communicate well and get work done on time, and are super-nice people to boot. Save yourself the time and effort, go here for good work and peace of mind and youll be thankful you did.
Awesome service as always
Best place in Franklin for European auto repair. Great service, reasonably priced by good people. I would highly recommend Wurster.
If you are looking for fast, reliable service check these guys out. They worked on my car for a couple of hours and they are cheaper than other places. Great job.
Great work. I took both of my car in there for an oil change and a detail over look, it was right on the money as if I took it to the dealer. Quick and priced right.
The best shop I have found. I have taken my Infiniti to them and they have the knowledge and tools, software, to diagnose and repair or maintain it. Honest mechanics that care about the customer.
Wonderful people
Good people, good work, Mike and his crew are the best!! Went in for an oil change and they even re-set my clock....it is just the little things. Had issues with my radio and that was also resolved. Will never go anywhere else.
Customers beware! These people are a bunch of crooks!! I went to take my car here after reading all the wonderful reviews. I made an appointment which was a week out and happily brought my car in at 9am. They told me they were going to take a look and let me know around early afternoon what was wrong with it. At 2pm I still hadnt heard from them so I called. The woman said they still hadnt gotten to it. I called back again at 4:30 and again they still didnt get to it. Now mind you I gave them my full set of keys since I lived only a couple of blocks away thinking I would talk to them later that afternoon and either pick back up my car or take off my house key. Well guess what, they closed and they didnt even feel the need to let me know that they were going to hold my car over night. What?! In fact I had to call again the next day after still not hearing from them at 12pm and guess what no one had looked at my car. I finally went in that day at 3pm and they go on to tell me that I would need over $5,000 worth of services & parts. I gasped with air and was devastated. At this point I was being plagued with the idea I might have to give up my 2005 Honda CRV. I just moved here and the thought of having to buy a new car was something I was unprepared for. I asked if I could just replace 2 of my motor mounts and they said I would have to replace all 4 parts on my car because it would ruin the car and break down. They also said it would take at least 3 days for the parts to come in so I would be looking at another week till they could work on my car. After all that they decided to surprise me with a $60 bill for looking at my car that they never told me about ahead of time which is so low as a business owner myself. A month later I decided to take my car into another reputable auto place in Columbia, TN and get a 2nd opinion. Well, lets just say I only needed 2 of the 4 parts they said were all bad and my bill only came to $600. They also got the part the next morning with no issues and the car was ready by 5pm. The stress this terrible car place caused me is unheard of and they are a bunch of crooks who say god bless you when you say goodbye. They are pure evil. Please do yourself a favor and dont go here. This is a seriously terrible place of business. I cant understand how they are still in business ripping people off like they do. The older woman before me had a bill of $40,000. Its a scam and to have a price jump from $5,000 to $600 at another place should tell you something. Do not support this business!
These guys are great!! I have never had any problems with any aspect of my car repair experiences. They go the extra mile with a smile.
The team at Wursters always has the customers interest in mind. Just recently had my vehicle serviced there and they not only did a perfect job of performing my necessary and elective items but they were able to come up with reasonable fix for another issue without gouging me for an expensive repair. Honesty and integrity!
Great service. Highly professional!!
Weve always had great luck and service with the folks from Wursters. They have always shot us straight and priced quality work fairly. Weve had various vehicles serviced here from late model VWs, Volvos to our 69 Skylark. Glad that we have someone like Mike and his folks to lean on for their expertise.
Mike and the crew are the only folks I let touch my cars. Even after moving to northern Clarksville, its still worth the drive to receive the best service from the best people.
Very disappointed. They wanted $1,100 to swap 2 fuel pumps on my BMW which can be bought new for $120 OEM (Bosch brand) online and swapped myself. They didnt even offer to work on the price, just take it or leave it. The kicker was also wanting $250 for a new battery. I just paid the $60ish diagnostic fee and had it towed home. I would have been happy to pay maybe half of that price but at some point that kind of margin is ridiculous on a 30 year old car.
Ive been to Wursters a couple of times, but had to review my last visit. I called to have a knocking noise checked out and they said they could look at it the following day. I dropped off my work van the day before so they would have it first thing in the morning. Within two hours of dropping it off a day early they called to say that they had made the $29 repair (missing sway bar nut, nothing major). They could have easily thrown in a few ghost repairs to make it worth their time, but they only did what they knew was necessary to solve the problem. Only an honest business gives you a $29 bill for fixing a mystery noise in your vehicle. Im sure Ill be back for maintenance or otherwise. Well done!
Excellent service
Prompt communication, knowledgeable staff and fair pricing. Ill take my vintage vw back to them for any other mechanical needs.
Very professional and honest. Had them replace two belts on my car and the final price ended up being cheaper than the original quote. Will surely use them again the next time I need an auto repair.
Asked for a quote on a repair, said they would call me back and never did
Honest family owned business. They stand behind their service. Favorite all time repair, oil change shop!
ZERO STARS - CAUTIONI trusted this shop to complete $4,800 in repairs on my 2006 3-Series BMW. The car was only worth about $6,000 thus I requested that a thorough inspection be performed as I did not want to have to put any more money into the vehicle as best a mechanic can assess. I was told that Id likely not need any additional repairs for up to another 70 - 90K.Within six months guess what? You got it. I need another $2,000 in repairs. Worse yet within only a week or my electronic system again indicated Low Oil. Of course I called Mike (owner) who said that all I needed to do was add a quart of oil every 700 to 1,000 miles. After inspecting the vehicle Mike stood by his report that there was no leak and all I needed to do was add a quart of oil from time-to-time. As it turns out it appears Mike was slow walking through the 12 month warranty. It worked I wanted to believe Mike and truth-be-known I procrastinated. Just before the 12 months expired I called Mike again and again he refused to correct the matter as he said there was nothing to fix.According to the local BMW dealership and another well known Euro repair shop there was a leak. Seems two separate repairs (both oil focused) that I paid Wursters to repair had to be redone to the tune of just under $2,000. At this point the 12-months expired. Even after being told that the BMG dealership and Euro repair both provided written repair reports, he stood by his opinion that there was no leak. I specifically, ask Mike, So is it your opinion that the BMG dealership and Euro repair are both wrong and that you are right? After a pause he replied, Yes, that what Im saying. Now I know why Wursters warranty is only 12-months. BMG is 24 months and the Euro repair shop in Franklin is 36 months. Another very suspicious reality was that my car was returned with the front brakes shaking. Both my wife and son whom drove the vehicle agreed that the car did not have any front brake issues. In closing, I do not believe that Wursters is worth the risk of any repairs beyond changing tires, oil changes, etc. DEFINITELY require that they match the [others] warranty. This shop looks more like a juke yard (with multiple cars in varying states of disrepair sitting around) with a shop in the middle.I truly regret the day I trust this shop.
I have used Wursters for years. Their pricing is competitive, and their service fast, bar none. I HIGHLY recommend!
Competitive rates. Professional communication. Beat their initial time estimate.
Mike Wurster runs the finest auto repair business in middle Tennessee. It is so refreshing to walk into a business and be warmly greeted by the owner. When we leave our cars at Wursters we know they will be serviced by experts and we will be treated fairly by Mike and his people! They always explain what has been done and what needs to be done (if anything) on future visits to insure our safety. Never have I felt any pressure to have additional work done. Mike is only concerned about the best for his customers! His kindness and thoroughness is appreciated by all his customers.I have never left his shop without receiving his characteristicGod Bless You which is most uplifting to me! I find that both refreshing and remarkable in todays business environment.
Excellent service and they dont cheat you. Not the lowest price in town but they do a great diagnose of your car.
I brought it in for a window motor. I ended up with a broken air conditioning system which was BRAND NEW, my fuel gauge is broken, I have black tar all over my back seat, and they WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ERRORS. (EDIT: Turns out a shorted computer box caused all my problems, which werent problems before they worked on it, but they quoted me to repair each one individually. At least the BMW dealer figured it out and fixed it for $1200 before these guys charged me over $3000)
Mike & his team are always great!!
Professionalism with honestly~I have known Michael and his team for years, and can always count on their integrity. My latest experience with a pre-purchase inspection, was exceptional and I want to thank Team Wursters for saving me thousands of dollars! My wife was interested in purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from a local dealer we were unfamiliar with, so we called Michael; he did know the dealer, and he suggested we have an inspection done.Sure enough, a less than honest dealer was trying to sell us a lemon for a pretty shiny apple! If you dont know the dealer, I suggest you have a pre-purchase inspection by a reputable mechanic! Thanks guys for preventing me from making a dreadful, and costly mistake, and sending us to a reliable dealer!Gene JohnsonDiamond Rio
Friendly staff great service, would recommend to anyone needing car repair.
Wursters has been a family favorite for years. Nothing like good, honest people from a locally owned business taking care of car.
Consistently accommodating and unquestionably competent! In 35 years of driving, Wursters is the most consistent and superior service Ive experienced. They have always accommodated me with what works for my schedule and timing. they have ordered parts in advance of my arriving to minimize repair time. They accommodated my late evening car pickup. They call me with quickly with accurate repair prognosis and cost. They complete the work as projected. Wursters respects my time and recognize my repair issues. Their repairs and fixes are solid, one and done! No returns needed for the same issue. They listen to the description, solve the problem, and respect the customer. Their repair costs align with their estimates - sometimes even pleasantly less. Wursters is the best car repair experience. There are fews services you can appreciate - Wursters is the best!
Efficient inspection, honest evaluation, competitive prices, and friendly service. Cant beat it.
Quick and efficient
First time visiting, still working on what i originally brought it in for, still unresolved
They kept my car 3 months and fixed nothing....$1100 for parts not needed and when we got the car back it had scratches on it from them and they refused to fix it.....car still not fixed....go someplace else
