The facilities were clean, modern and well lit. The staff was pleasant and almost all the machines were new. It was all around a great experience, and we will be considering a membership.

Big space, anything you need to build the body you want, no A/C so if that bothers you look elsewhere. Good energy.. people working hard for a reason minding their business. Good prices for what you get.

Good rustic, hard core gym. Equipment is old, but it adds to the ambiance. Overall great place to workout. Could use more mirrors though.

Just joined and I love it already. Very clean. Well worth the membership. Staff is very nice. The Hydro Massage the most amazing feature compensates for not having a sauna!!! Im a very happy member and my family!!!!

It’s a great hardcore gym with everything you need, good oldschool machines and great atmosphere.The only downfall is that some of the heavier dumbells (100lb+) are bend and therefore not really usable or simply the weight is not written on them so it’s really hard to find a pair of them sometimes.

Hands down the best gym in the DFW area. I started going here to set new goals and achievements. Not has that happen here. I also have created a lifetime of friendships and family here. You have plenty of motivation here. Also no one will ever judge you for what you look like. Or your level of training. Everyone will be more than willing to assist you. The owners are by far the most hands on owners I’ve ever met to serve a gym. They know customer service and will treat you like their own family. I love going here and wouldn’t change a single thing.

They’re more than serious about cleanliness and that means a great deal to me. The facility is being maintained around the clock to ensure that we as customers have all needs met.

Something about this place just makes you wanna get YOKED. Great music, tons of space, all the elements of a great pump. Highly recommend.

Its just a regular gym. Why pay $40 dollars a month when planet fitness charges $10??? Just to say you workout at the castle? Plus planet fitness stays open 24/7. The castle does not. Plus theres only one castle.Just my opinion.

Old school gym. I love the atmosphere. Im a huge fan of the body building and power lifting culture. That is what you find here.

Went here for the first time to train yesterday and loved it. They let you workout for free on your first visit. This gym has everything you need. And the place is huge! Definitely an old school gym so dont expect new equipment. Theres a place to eat your meals which is a plus. There is no AC so be prepared for a good sweat. I felt like a warrior training here and will definitely be going back.

I love this gym. For the people who get what this type of gym is for it cant be beat. No shortage of equipment and the atmosphere is definitely not social hour (you dont see people standing around yapping. They come here to do work), but still totally supportive and friendly. The music is loud, the weights are heavy.

This gym is perfect if you want to train for real, not just act like you are and make pictures of you to post on instagram, the fact that is raw gives the necessary atmosphere to train hard, because after all you do not come to the gym to relax you come to work hard and push yourself. If you are looking for that than this is the perfect gym.

This is the best gym I have EVER been! I got a month membership here for my last month in Ft. Worth due to no sign up fee and yearly fee. I am sad I didnt find this place sooner. Any other gym who says they Are accepting of everyone is a liar in comparison to this place. No matter if you are a competition bodybuilder or a novice, you will feel welcomed here. Unlike other gyms most people know what they are actually doing and their equipment selection is second to none. Best value ever! Im moved away now but this place is amazing and needs to be recognized. Oh and no AC which provides you with a detox every time you go there is the summer.

Best gym. Everytime I pass through I go here. Has all the strongman and strength equipment I need. Owners are always welcoming and inviting. Have food prepped meals and can get a good meal and hit the road. Couldnt recommend more.

This place makes you earn the reward its nut up or shut up over here which is like an environment totally different from other gyms . If you want results this gym is for you. Sure the equipment is used and wore down but take a look at where the greats work out.

Biggest runaround to cancel a membership ever. Will not cancel in club, they force you to go online to read the cancellation policy which demands 30 days notice either written or verbal notice via phone. BUT, going in and asking them to close your account doesnt count as verbal notice.Shady business practices like this can help me disregard completely the quality of the training facility because clearly they would rather steal your money than earn it.

Great concept. Good people. Definitely takes care of military. However, this great machines is a complete lie. Their machines pads are all jacked up, some of the equipment - albeit, not a lot - hasnt been maintained for literally years. Weights are constantly all over the place. And a bunch of the Dumbbells are unequal handle sizes. A lot to look past, and once you do its cool because theres a lot of heavy-hitters and go-getters around. Its dirty too. Like unclean. But hey, every gym has something to work on.

This place is HUGE, no wonder they call it The Castle. Rendy and the team have set up a first class place to train for serious gains. Whether you are into Strongman, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, or CrossFit theyve got you covered. Tons of specialty bars, calibrated plates, racks, bumper plates, tires to flip....this place has it all.My only issue is no heat in the winter.....I hate lifting heavy in the cold. I drive 20 miles to train here because its worth it!

Gyms are for those who want to work. At Metroflex thats not lost on fancy equipment or bluetoothed stationary bikes. Just come in work hard and get out.
