I have been coming here for a few months now and I highly recommend Lake Worth counseling. They have counseling for almost anyone ranging from one on one to couples counseling. The two ladies at the front desk are so sweet and if you ever have any questions they will help you. This place is very professional, LGBT+ friendly, and respect any religious beliefs. This place is awesome!

Mylie is her name and she is very attentive, professional, compassionate and helps me stay more relaxed. I look forward to going to see her. I see Lendy and she is very empathetic. She is a great listener, showing different points of view, and simply caring. I have see. Her individually as well as with my husband. I didn’t feel her as biased towards me in the couples sessions, her goal was clear to help us both communicate better.The front office staff is very friendly and they respond in a timely manner!

Counselor was unprepared for first meeting and appeared to take sides. Counselor also did not respond to email after meeting which contained direct questions in regards to their request for tasks to be completed for the next meeting. Would not recommend.

I absolutely love my counselor Joni. She’s the first counselor I’ve fully trusted and felt comfortable opening up to. That’s been a game changer for me! She also has a great heart and passion for helping people through difficult times.

I have found counseling with Mylie Greenbach to be very beneficial during some major changes in my life recently. I have been able to make some very important decisions, and do so with the knowledge that I was doing the right thing for all the right reasons. I’ve also found the other office staff to be very courteous and helpful any time I call and need assistance.

The staff and my daughters counselor Sharron Leal are absolutely amazing ! Communication happens when necessary availability when needed . Sharron is flexible and has really supported my daughters needs and concerns and has helped bring her out of her shell . Although we moved we have no plans on switching to another counselor and the availability for telehealth appointments makes my life less stressful ! Highly recommend!

LWC & Mylie Greenbach have been amazing! I was going through some major issues in life and found myself in need of some help. I came across this facility through my health insurance and it has been a blessing. I’m so thankful for Mylie and all her help and her willingness to work weekends has been greatness. LWC is a comfortable and inviting place that has lots of staff to accommodate different schedules. I highly recommend them for you mental health needs.

I also wanted to say not only wasn’t I able to get help for anything this week I paid for last weeks session just so I can sit down and meet a new stranger so We can say hi. No one there really cares if you live or die. Just a complete waste of money. I’ve been to a lot of different place for counseling in Ft Hood area. This place though by far takes 1st place for worst experience. Never been to a place so bad. I can just feel the lack of empathy. I understand they all need to get paid for their time and I’m willing to pay but this place. I’m still shocked. If I was suicidal right now like how I was 5 years ago. The first thought in my mind would of been to load one round in the chamber cause today I left there with no hope. I’m writing this review to help save lives

My daughter receives counseling there currently and is enjoying her sessions. However the office staff are rude, and lack customer service skills and proper phone etiquette. Not once or twice but multiple times now after hanging up I am in disbelief. Maybe some new help or a new office manager? People that actually like their job and are there for the customers. Not people who make a customer feel like an inconvenience.

I wanted to update and after talking to the owner personally over the phone. She was more than reasonable and understanding. I wasn’t in the right mindset when i made my last post. Far as insurance is concerned it wasn’t their fault and she actually personally took it upon herself to help I just choose to walk away angry. We’re going to move forward and I’m looking forward to getting the help that I need. She scheduled me in as soon as possible as well and was very concerned about what was going on.

I have been seeing Ryan Thompson now since before Christmas and I cant tell you what a huge impact and difference he has made on me and my life. I feel as though he cares, listens and works with you in a way that is best for you and doesnt make you feel discredited about your situation. No matter how big or small you think the problem is, he has always walked me through.Also, all of the staff is great, the front desk ladies are always very sweet and helpful.

I had several issues in the beginning with office staff and paper work missing. Now after my 8 year old twins started seeing a therapist I was advised on last visit to wait and make an appoint after in person school started. I called and now they tell me since they havent been seen in the last 30 days we have to switch to someone else. Now I have an 8 year old wanting to see her therapist and have to tell her no due to schedule changes not made aware to us in advance. Starting a therapeutic relationship with an 8 yr old isn’t something that should be taken lightly and now we are told to start over with someone new. This should have been communicated prior. The complete lack of empathy toward an 8 year old is disgraceful and this entire situation is completely unprofessional and medically subpar.

The worst practice I’ve been too. They didn’t care about me as a person. I had to reschedule an appointment because I was running a fever and not feeling well. They said I’d reschedule an appointment when I first started there so they’d have to charge me. I told them I was heading to the ER. Still no sympathy. Told them I could give them a Drs note. The Office manager wouldn’t budge. They said I could I do a tele conference. So I tried but had to be rushed to the hospital. They still charged me and it took over 2 weeks for them to reach out and ask me how I was. Knowing I was having to be checked into the hospital. I loved my therapist but the office manager is the worst. My advice, go somewhere else.And as you see the reply of the office manager is unprofessional. As I said I told her I was going to the emergency room with a fever. Then talked to my therapist about getting sent to the hospital, and was still charged. I never cancelled my appointments. Rescheduled one or two with more then the time allotted! Definitely never less then 24 hours except when I had a fever and heading to the er. This just proves my point. Uncaring and unprofessional.

The staff at LWC is tops. My family sees several of their therapist and relies on them to help us keep everyone anchored and well. No matter the age, the issue, or the needs, there’s a therapist for you at LWC. Moreover, they are the best with kids.

Ms. Bren Obermeier is incredible! My son is always so excited for his visits and has showed so much improvement since we started. His teachers at school rarely miss a chance to let him and myself know how much hes changed in just a short amount of time.On our way to his last appointment my son said Ms. Bren has changed my life. I couldnt be more pleased with our decision to come to lake worth counseling. Scheduling is always very easy as well!

Very highly disappointed. I called to schedule a new patient and my only available time is in the pm or weekend and was told that because they dont have those time slots open within the next 2 weeks that she couldnt book an appointment. If you have a full schedule, would you not want to fill appointments?? No sense at all. I havent been here but I would NOT recommend just based on the simple fact that they are unable to accommodate someone in need of help

Ms. Emily our Counselor is fantastic! The staff and Susan are really nice, understanding, and very helpful. The environment is inviting, and they have toys and stuff to entertain kiddos while you wait. Wait is not ever long though and they have a treasure box for the kids too! Our family really enjoys going here, and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends!

Love Lake Worth Counseling! Have used them for myself as well as for my son. The Counselor we use is Ryan Thompson and he is amazing. My son has come so far in the year or so he has been seeing Ryan.The office staff is ALWAYS friendly and attentive to our needs. Just today the owner Susan helped me with an insurance issue and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

I called to schedule the visit and was very clear it would be for myself and my son. I requested a young male counselor. When we were called back by the counselor, we were immediately told that he “doesn’t do family counseling.” I explained that I requested it when scheduling. He let us have our time with him but didn’t seem very pleased to do so. We weren’t required to come back. Guess he felt like he solved all our problems in that 30 minute visit. Left feeling like I wasted my money.

Ive seen a couple different therapists at this office, but have now found and been working with the one whos the best fit for me. Clients should feel confident finding a therapist who they mesh well with. The goal is progress, so find someone who works for you. Ive never had any issues or concerns with scheduling appts, insurance/payment, or the staff. Im very thankful to be working towards my own progress.

After every visit to LWC I feel revitalized in my insight and affirmed in my goals through therapy. Emily is a wonderful counselor, listening patiently and remembering details. 10/10 would recommend. Get your therapy here!

I have been going to Lake Worth Counseling for a few months. They provide a friendly warm atmosphere from the front desk to the counselors. They explain what your insurance covers and if there is any cost to you up front. My therapist Mischelle is wonderful. She is easy to talk to, provides a very comfortable environment in her office, where I feel no judgement and am able to be open to discuss anything. You can truly tell she cares about her clients.

It took awhile to get in to see her, but Dr. Olivia is the best counselor. She is kind and considerate, and my teenager loves her, in spite of initial resistance toward the appointment. Things have changed for the better in our home since seeing Dr. Olivia. She is the best and we highly recommend her.

No judgment! Only solutions! Help in understanding so that we could actually have a CHANCE at communication between each other. My spouse SWORE there would be no talking; I would have to do all of the talking! More feelings of frustration and yet love were shared during that first session than our entire relationship thus far! Lendy is a Godsend!!!

Worst office ever!! Susan, the owner, is the rudest and definitely most inconsiderate liar I have ever seen! I was bringing my daughter there to help with family issues between me and her father. The office knew that we should have 2 separate accounts and we bring her in separately. Her father had not even brought her in for about 4 months. I was the only one bringing her in. I called to cancel an appointment and she told me I was 30 minutes late to not be charged a fee. I asked what fee? She continued to argue with me regarding paperwork that I signed regarding their cancellation fee. I told her I was never explained thee would be a fee nor did I ever sign anything. She saw that her father did but I had never been advised of their policy. She told me to calm down, that she would not charge the card on file, as it is not my card and he has had nothing to do with this office in months. She then said I would be required to sign their cancellation policy form before my daughter could come back in.Sustain decided to go ahead and charge HIS card and now will not even speak to us about it. They are refusing to refund the money to his card as well. So thank you to Lake Worth Counseling for making our family issues now worse! Do not go there or even think about using this office! They have the worst customer service and do not care about their patients and families! Maybe Susan needs to get some counseling and maybe even legal counseling!

Difficult to get in to the office for the first appointment - website to complete paperwork is less than user-friendly, but its managable. Once I got in though - its awesome!! Lupe is incredibly helpful and very compassionate.

The people that handle the insurance obviously does not know what they are doing. My husband sent in his insurance information to them because he wanted to make sure they took it before he ever went to make sure it was in network. They called him back and said it was in network and so he went they didnt call and tell us that it wasnt until after he went for a whole month and demanded that we pay the whole bill at once when they called and at the time they called and refused to let us set up a payment plan. I would advise people to never go here unless you want to get ripped off.

Update:So, after leaving this review the office manager emailed me asking me to change my google review.Further proving that this is nowhere I’d recommend or return.An email apologizing is fine- but asking me to change my review? Everything in it is truthful and accurate information I think clients deserve to know.I’ve been going to this business the last couple months, but I won’t return.Issue #1- my therapist was always late! Always!#2- they charge $5 more than my copay. I have a set copay and good insurance. I find this tedious and ridiculous#3- cancellation policy is a joke! They have a 24 hour cancel policy, but.... if your appt is on Monday, they email and text auto remind on Sunday but you can’t cancel after 2pm Saturday.I called once Sunday morning after getting a text reminder and left a message to cancel. They supposedly “never got my message” and I was abruptly told,” 24 hours doesn’t mean 24 hours, it means during business hours the day before”So my final straw with this business was I had an appt I was running 5 min late for, I called, confirmed I’d be there in 5. I arrived and was checked in 6 min after my appt time. My counselor was standing 3 feet away when I checked in with the receptionist.I sat down after paying my excessive copay.15 min went by and I overheard conversations about male genitals I never want to hear again. It’s stuff you talk about at girls night out, not the front desk of a professional office! I left! Cancelled all future appts and will never go back.The office manager called me and was nice and I was refunded for that visit that I never got. But, at that point it was too little too late.Overall I never really connected with my counselor and the way they do business, is not proper.

Horrible experience dealing with Theresa who handles the insurance and another lady that I cant Remeber her name, but she is the owner of the facility. They refused to listen to my insurance company on how to properly charge me for my sons appt. I was calm until Theresa told me she has DEALT with me enough today that she couldnt look into the insurance issue anymore. The owner called and told me they have DEALT with me for more than two hours today ( which is a lie) and there was nothing else they can do for me. They had very poor choice of words. I believe both ladies could have handled the situation a lot better than they did. But She kept refusing to follow my insurance policy. They were beyond rude and needless to say I cancelled my appt for my son. I refuse to allow my son in a place that is supposed to help him and cant even give good customer service over the phone. Would hate to see how they treat their patients in person.

Horrible. A counselor shouldnt invalidate your feelings, label everything out of your mouth an excuse, say they do this for a living, or that they dont care about some other aspect of your life. This is out of scope since it probably isnt consistent with any recognized method or practice in professional counseling. Gross negligence much?
