I am currently a patient of Kits, and I am very fortunate to be so. I have never sought out counseling in my life, but I am glad I finally did it. Life in 2020 has been extremely difficult, and our telecommunication sessions have been pivotal in my emotional well being during the pandemic. Kit Jones helped me find the core to understanding myself and to improve my self-care. She told me from the beginning that her definition of happiness is being “comfortable and contented pretty much all the time.” She taught me how to quickly notice and then constructively respond to issues, especially those in relationships, which interfere with being happy. Kit is an empathetic teacher who listens, supports, encourages, and interacts with patients with kindness and caring. She has a lot of great tools in her toolbox that she shares with others so that they can meet the challenges in life that all people experience in one degree or another. I found Kit’s office to be a warm, welcoming, and comfortable space. She works hard there to help her patients learn to be less critical and more nurturing of themselves (and others)—with healthy physical and emotional self-care. Her good counsel, and a lot of work gave me a lifeline to face my challenges and leave shame and blame behind. I highly recommend Kit Jones LPC!

Kit was able to help me get back to my normal self and teach me how to live with my bout with PTSD. Thanks Kit and I will schedule random sessions to ensure I am staying on course with the things I have learned. I hope your other clients are open minded and really listen to what you are trying to convey.

Made it difficult to set up grief counseling. Advised I would seek assistance from someone else. If I cannot communicate via telephone to setup an appointment, then my faith with in person couseling with her was quickly diminished. Hate leaving bad reviews but this was a terrible experience for me.
