They did a good job, and the house smelled clean and fresh when they finished.

I have used Merry Maids for many years and have been pleased. I discontinued during the pandemic because of my husband’s major surgeries. I planned on starting up, but suddenly was having out of state company. I called them and they worked miracles to get me scheduled for a deep cleaning with my usual excellent cleaners. They could not have done anything better. Talk about spotless!! Thanks to the staff and Ola and Veronica for an excellent job. I look forward to them coming bi-weekly. If you have any cleaning needs you should give them a try. They work with you to ensure you are pleased.

Over all a bad experience many little things added up to it being an awful experience and will definitely not be using again.

Sharron and Kelly deep cleaned my mothers apartment for us and did an incredible job. They were kind, professional, and thorough. We are so grateful for the work they put in as we were in a difficult situation and this was a family emergency. I cant say enough about the quality cleaning we received - the apartment looks better than when she moved in. It was a renovation cleaning in an empty house, and it took 5 hours. Im still finding dirty cabinets, baseboards and spots on faucets. Complete waste of money.

I was led to believe, after several conversations with the person who schedules the cleaning teams, that they would clean my baseboards, shutters and fan blades. My house was otherwise very clean. If someone had come to my house the day before the cleaning and the day after, they would have seen no difference. I gave the service less than one star on perfect. It was not the fault of the cleaning team, rather than a miscommunication on what my expectations were. Fan blades were not cleaned and the shutters were still dusty. Baseboards were not wiped down, as I expected. It was fine. Im not upset. It was a lot of money not to be able to really tell a difference. No fault of the cleaning team. By the way, I had to straighten every single framed thing in our home. You dont have to leave a frame crooked to show you dusted it. For Heavens sake, that strategy is too obvious!! I also have to put several pieces of furniture and other items back in place.

Sumaki made my kitchen SHINE! I could smell the freshness from outside!! Very impressed and pray o get her every time. She also has a terrific personality, very beautiful soul. I felt really good about her being in my home.

I appreciate the thorough cleaning of the home. They cleaned very well on our move out. I would reccomend.

They did not clean my kids vanity room. The bathroom window was not clean. They have been out of town and it was still dirty. also the floors were not done in the room and countertops, The trash was taken out in the game room this time however they did not put the trash bag into the can. The trash bags are under the sink. Small things but overall getting better just need take to time to do every room . They only stay less than 4 hours or maybe 41/2 other cleaning service was there all day. also has a shinny finnish on the wood floors down stairs.

I’ve used Merry Maids several times now. They stand out to me because they are professional and seem to be thoroughly trained. I don’t worry that I have to hover over them to know my house is okay. With some other cleaners, I’ve had bad experiences where they used the wrong materials/supplies to clean certain surfaces and did damage as a result. Grateful to have found Merry Maids and appreciate their attention to detail and highly trained individuals. (Shout out to Connie and Joan who are wonderful at their jobs!)

Scheduled a deep clean for over $300. 3 ladies arrived with their cleaning equipment in tow. Gave them a tour and let them get to work. My house was not a disaster zone by any means. I had put everything in its place, just needed/wanted a deep clean.Some of the rooms looked great, in others there were blatant places they just skipped over. The glass on the showers had handprints on them, the mirrors were only cleaned half way up (I told them I had a step ladder they were welcome to use), the kitchen counter had a sticky spot which was still there after they left.Pretty disappointed. I wasted over $300 for a very poor “deep clean”.

Merry Maids was hired to clean my townhome upon move out. They were hired to have 2 girls, for 2 hours at $130/hour for a total of $260 to only vacuum the carpeted floors, clean the wood floors, clean the kitchen & 3 bathrooms. They failed to clean the ENTIRE 1st FLOOR. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

They did a nice job, but Im not sure it qualified as a deep initial clean, which is what I asked for and paid for. They did clean the fans and the window edges, but the oven and microwave werent cleaned, and the floors were not as clean as I would have liked them to be, again for what I would expect from a deep clean.

I usually give them five stars but couldn’t this time. For the second visit in a row, the ring around the drain in my bathroom sink was not cleaned. Also, I had to scrub the soap scum from where the tub joins the tile. Small things, but obvious. Also, I’m not thrilled that they’ve started dusting with Swiffers. The dust comes back sooner after that.I have used Marry Maids for many years, in two different locations. I would still recommend them.

UPDATE:Was able to contact them. They sent a manager to verify that it was still dirty, then did a re-clean the next day and made it right. Landlord said it now passes inspection.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Scheduled them for a move out clean of a 3 bed, 2 bath house (1200 sq ft).Was not present for the clean. Landlord went to check the unit the next day and said it was a mess. Counters hadn’t been cleaned, floors were still dirty, bathrooms still had soap scum residue. I paid Merry Maids almost $300 for that clean, and now will be getting part of my security deposit held back so the landlord can have another company come clean after them. Completely unacceptable

This company has taken care my home for many years and send us the best workers to clean our home with exceptional care.

Paid $375 for a move in cleaning. Before we paid, they claimed the move in cleaning is top to bottom, but then we were told a simple window wiping is not included and costs more. We still have cobwebs and dust in our home. The only reason it is clean now is because we bought our own supplies and cleaned it ourselves. There is no money back guarantee, so we just lost $375.

I am very happy with my Merry Maids. They are reliable, accommodating and friendly. They also clean my house very thoroughly. Whenever I move a piece of furniture, the floor beneath is clean as well as the baseboards behind it, if accessible. I love that! My ceiling fans are always clean as well. I appreciate thoroughness!

There is no consistency. Each person does things differently and uses different methods and products. I would like the same person each time. Also, I’m not sure what is on the included list and what is extra.

Ive been with Merry Maids for many years. Holly in the office is always accommodating when I need to make changes or adjustments from my usual cleaning schedule. I love my cleaning girl, Sherry, just cant say enough good things about her!! Having the same cleaner in my home is what I love the most. She knows my dogs, my home, my likes and dislikes. I know she will do an excellent job each and every time. She cleans my home as if it were her own; you can tell she loves what she does. After a long commute, long day and longer week, I walk into my home that looks clean, smells clean and is clean! Its a huge relief that I wont be spending all weekend cleaning my home; who can relax and enjoy anything in a dirty house? This leaves me with more time in my life to spend with my family and do things I enjoy; This makes it worth every penny! I was surprised when I first started using this cleaning service how adorable is was, I had no idea. Now I tell my friends that I would never give up having my house cleaned. There are many many other things I would sacrifice first!

Every cleaner that I have had contact with is very kind, and they all do a good job. That being said, the downsides of a company like this is having cleaners that are constantly in a hurry to get to the next house (I have had furniture left scattered around and drawers left wide open), dont know where things are if you are not at home during your cleaning time (like a laundry room, spare sheets, etc.), and do not have the ability to contact you about it. You also may have them show up at 9 a.m. or 2 p.m. You may get a notification that cleaners are on their way, but you may not. I would recommend this service and company, but it does miss the mark if you are looking for a more personalized interaction.

I am pleased with them as they are responsive to my needs if I have to make a change or redirect the team due to my schedule, however, they have never cancelled or changed their date or time for home cleaning, they are professional and do a professional clean each time!

First off, great customer service. I talked with Maxine. They were able to schedule last minute for the next morning. They never made me feel horrible about the state of our house which was pretty bad because of our pets. Our power even shut off part way through and they had to come back the next morning. Again, they were able to come back first thing in the morning and get it done before the land lord needed the house done. And they were prompt to fix an accidental overcharge. Truly a blessing.All that to say, I was not able to personally inspect their cleaning job because it was a move out cleaning, but they were timely, gracious, and easy to deal with.

I was very disappointed in the cleaning and service.First, the cleaning people did not arrive to my house as originally scheduled.It was scheduled for a.m., however they did not arrive to my house until almost 1p.m. I know this because the cleaning people called me and told me. I had to explain to them over the phone how to get in the house. I did not understand that, because I left these instructions with Merry Maid when I booked this appointment a week in advance.Next, my house was not that dirty because it is already maintained.However, they still did not do a very good job especially in the bathrooms around the faucet. Later, after they left I was able to use my fingers and cleaning pad and cleaned up the dirt stains that they missed. It came right up when I cleaned it.For the money I paid, it just was not worth it.Very disappointing.

I had used this service for years and tolorated their mediocre cleaning. The point of detachment from this company was when I scheduled a deep clean for my new home before moving in. The ladies arrived and then left the home to reschedule for a later time in the day without consulting with me. A mixup with gettin back into the home occurred and again the ladies left without so much as a call to try and rectify the situation. No call was made to reschedule, no apology was made and I was forced to move in the next day on top of dirt! I deserved better as a long time customer. I am so done with this service and their lazy cleaning and look forward to securing a new service.

They are overpriced. I paid for a detailed cleaning and they used the same dirty mop head to mop all the floors. All counters were left dirty. Never using them again!
