Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to selecting a rose, tree or plant. Sydney helped me by letting me know the rose that I was about to purchase was a high maintenance rose. That was not what I wanted to purchase. She also assisted me making a gift certificate purchase . She is an excellent employee and was very helpful and professional at her job . I would recommend her to help you if your looking to purchase items for your landscaping.

I don’t write reviews but I really feel like I should about Galbaiths. I called Dan out to do a small job, they did a great job so we tore out the whole front and replaced it. That turned out so well we did a major landscaping job in the back. Couldn’t be happier.I know they aren’t the cheapest but I have had a ton of contractors at my house and I must say they were one of the best! Did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Very rare these days

I probably should have realized after not getting called back and having our order arrive with dead plants being replaced with whatever they brought along that my requests would be ignored, but alas I write my review a year after “completion”, increasingly unhappy with the outcome of $5000.The 2 stars are based solely upon what I presume was once passion from the man who helped us. We requested removal of a garden and installation of plants & stone. I explained multiple times that I need my landscape to look nice but be as low maintenance as possible. During the consultation, liners for weeds and metal rock barriers were discussed and agreed upon.We went to the nursery to pick plants and pay. The day arrived for our job to be done and it was not completed. We were missing plants in several spots. The crew left abruptly and I had to call to find out what was happening, as they left a large pile of debris in our driveway. Upon further inspection, no weed barrier was placed in large sections and a year later you can see how poor of a job they did by the frightening amount of grass protruding through the landscape rocks. Many of the plants are crooked and approximately 25% died completely. During the consultation, we were to have someone visit after the job was complete to ensure all plants had acclimated properly. This was never done.During installation the internet line was cut. This was something immediately noticeable and was rectified by another company that day. Unfortunately, they also cut the electric line to our light post, which was unbeknownst to us until the thawing from the spring allowed water into the damaged line ruining an entire circuit of electricity in our home.Sadly, I would not recommend this vendor for landscape services again.

Disappointed with my first purchase. I asked if the rose I was buying was an own root one or a grafted one...the salesperson said he didnt know. I learnt soon how easy this was to tell. On coming home I found that the pot was less than half filled with soil ( = smaller root ball), and, most to my dismay, there was a hole on a cut cane that implies cane borer.Update May 2021: They replaced the rose even after 7 months, and was very helpful in trying to chose one.

Went to look at some new trees for the yard. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about the types of trees they had, how big they get and what would work for us best

This nursery truly cares about their customers and plants! They have a wide selection of gorgeous rose bushes, and employees are well-versed in their knowledge of rose varieties and plant care. I recently bought a rose on clearance from the previous season. The bush was healthy, but didn’t have any blooms on it when I bought it. I found out it was mislabeled when I got blooms on it, so I decided to return it. The service was great, and they went above and beyond with their customer care! I am so grateful to have a supplier of quality, competitively-priced Floribunda and Hybrid Tea rose bushes in the area!

I called to schedule an appointment for a landscape design estimate. Had to call back again a week later because the guy never called me back. That should have been my warning. Got an appt set. It was raining the day he came out so she told me he couldnt draw a design since his paper would get wet. OK understandable. Said he would stop by another day with better weather to draw up a design. Never heard from him again. And that was back in March. Im not going to beg a company to take my money when they clearly dont care about my business.

Dan and his crew did an outstanding job. My landscaping was outdated and extremely overgrown and they completely gutted everything and replaced it with a simple and easy to maintain design which is exactly what I wanted. They hauled everything away for me as well which was a huge relief, I can actually enjoy being out in my yard again.Dan was very transparent with the cost of the project and stayed within the agreed upon estimate. He also did a nice job of communicating with me and sending me updates as the job progressed. His guys work quickly, the bulk of my project was completed over the course of a day and a half.Ill definitely be using Galbraiths again for future projects, they do great work for a fair price.

Galbraith has a lot of very healthy looking bushes, shrubs trees, & especially roses. They have one of the widest selections of ceramic or concrete fountains that I have seen in this area. They also have a variety of yard art, bird bath options, and planters.

Called to schedule an estimate for a large residential landscaping project. Grumpy guy asks what we need done, and cut me off after the first two items were mentioned, as he decided it wasn’t worth their time.I had only mentioned one fallen tree and a brush pile needing hauled away, but he didn’t even let me tell them about the complete re-landscaping the property needs. They must be doing fine if they can chase away customers like that. I guess they’re too busy to take our money.

Always helpful and knowledgeable on what to do with landscaping, tress and shrubs. I would definitely buy from them again. Their prices are sometimes higher than big box stores but the quality is better. They also stand behind their products. I have bought several trees and lilac bushes from them over the years and they are all doing great. They can even order anything they dont have as seasonal stuff gets picked over.

They have great plants and even if they dont that doesnt give you a right to say rude things to them if they dont have what you want. They try there hardest to get good rescources and products.

This was my second year having Galbraiths provide my lawn care. They have done an excellent job answering my questions and providing services to help my lawn reach its full potential. Joe has taken the time to walk my lawn with me pointing out opportunities and offering suggestions to improve it even more. I appreciate that type of care.

Greeted by whom I assumed was the owner- told him we were looking for a concrete ornamental fountain and to get rose fertilizer... went inside, looked around, found a fountain we were interested in purchasing and told by 2 employees we were not allowed to be inside during the Covid-19 quarantine. Employees told us we have to leave the building immediately. Obviously the first guy who said we can go in was not the one signing the payroll checks after all. Will buy a fountain at Stuckeys Greenhouse on Lima Road and fertilizer online or at Lowes. Would have been the easiest $1300 Campania order ever- would take a miracle for me to ever go back.

Really sad no one will come out to help customers anymore. Have to go hunting for someone to help you

I called them to get my leaves cleaned up for the fall. Everywhere else that I called were booked and could not get me serviced. Galbraiths got me scheduled within a couple of days and did an outstanding job for a great price. I will definitely do business with them again!

We had them landscape our front yard in 2018 and it was well done and at a great price. One of the trees didn’t survive a week or two, so Dan agreed to replace it. After multiple calls and visits to see where we are on the schedule, it’s now mid-2019 (nearly a full year later) and each time we get no answer on when we’ll have it replaced. Frustrating!!

Most of the product looks well tended and both times I stopped by, a man asked if I needed help only just a few minutes after arrival. It was the same man both times and while he seemed very knowledgable he was super condescending. The first time I asked about plants they did not have. The second about ornamental trees. No, I dont know anything about trees (which is why Im coming to a nursery for assistance) but Lord there was no reason to answer my questions like that! I stayed level, went to check out the other stock he pointed me to, but will not be purchasing anything nor recommending anyone this way. There are other nurseries in town with similar stock and nicer people!

This time of year (winter) there are no plants but plenty of garden and inside decorations, but that means going inside. Wide assortment, college stuff, cutesy stuff, holiday stuff. Worth going inside.

Called with a question and was told I would have to speak to one of the owners. Asked if I could leave my number so they could call me back since I was told they are hit or miss. Was told oh no they will never call you back they are too busy and my question wouldnt be high priority. I guess spending money there wouldnt be high priority. Shocked at how rude the gentleman on the phone was.

One of the best places for flowers, some are a little pricey but great quality, helpful, friendly, service.

Well this place was a joy (not) to visit.The owner was surly and really fouled my day up..Although very knowledgeable (probably knows more than the complete staff of the DIY stores combined), his attitude absolutely put my better half off and refuses to step foot on the property..Honestly, the guy must have had a terrible week.. While I can understand the joys of working with the retail public, reflecting a bad outlook can really put buyers off.Now that my better half thinks the guy is hateful, I have to drive twice as far for plants and supplies... great job guys....
