My son is really anxious about getting his haircut as hes had a few bad experiences with other shops. Wes took his time and did a great job! I would go back to get my sons haircut here again!

I don’t ever post do reviews, but after the cut I just got, I had too.This dude Lion is one the best barbers I’ve ever been too. It’s hard to find barbers nowadays that actually take pride in their work, but Lion definitely does. He ain’t just try to get the cut over with so he could be on to the next one. He took his time even with people waiting on him. You ain’t gotta worry about nothing sitting in his chair.Ill be back for sure.

Magic Wrist by far, is the best Barber Shop on the Emerald Coast. Their barbers have the steadiest hands and know how to take care of their clientele. Im a native New Yorker who used to get my hair cut in Brooklyn growing up and can safely say that the entire crew at Magic Wrist can hold their own. My personal go-to is Jessica, yes Jessica, she can throw down with them clippers! Great, clean and comfortable atmosphere with quality cuts and great prices. Take your kids, take your significant others, you wont be disappointed! Highly recommended!

Cool barber shop with a relaxed atmosphere. This shop has came a long way from what it used to be. The building has been remodeled and they have consistent barbers. I always go to my barber Jessica. When she cuts you good the first time you can expect that for all of your other visits. Shes a real calm person, very consistent, and doesnt mind if youre very particular about your cut or want to try something new. Go check the shop out and ask for Jessica.

Magic Wrist has an efficient and professional operation. The shop also had 7 barbers working on a Saturday afternoon, which belies a clear understanding of when a lot of folks get their haircuts. I think I paid $15-20 for my haircut (not including tip). Thats a fair price for how satisfied I was with my cut.I was most impressed by how well they maintained their equipment - they even use air compressors to intermittently clean their barbering tools. It looked like every single barber sent their customer away with a fresh, clean haircut. Every customer seemed pleased with the service.

Great place and great people . I moved here from NJ and didnt think I would find a good place to get a fad and a shape up. But magic wrist hooked it up. Will continue to go back .

Had a great experience here. Very professional group of barbers, highly recommend without reservation. Ive been to some of the corporate places and received, in my opinion, substandard cuts, but this place gives you time and pays attention to detail. Will be back.

Unless you are a regular and by regular I mean a personal friend of theirs... don’t expect to get your haircut unless you wait over 3 hours and even after waiting over 3 hours you are lucky if they tell you they don’t have time for you today but they usually just wait until you leave yourself. They completely ignore and don’t acknowledge you when you walk in as a new member, they only look at you like you’re lost and at the wrong place. Not a friendly, warm and welcoming place at all. They will continue to call on the regulars while ignoring your existence. i noticed also that they stay on their phones constantly while doing someone’s hair. They will stop in mid hair cut for clients just to make phone calls or texts. I have been here a couple times and have gotten ignored. Don’t know why I bothered giving them chances. If this isn’t a terrible way to run business then I don’t know what is.

**BRANDON THE BARBER IS GREAT**I went there for the first time about 2 months ago, and Brandon took care me. He works quick, but he makes sure he gets the details right. hes very friendly, easy to have a conversation with, and youd have a hard time finding a better barber.

Good customer service and didnt have to wait too long. Just make suuuuuurrrre you let it be known youre in line. Oh and....one of the barbers is by appointment only, so dont get upset if someone jumps in his seat ahead of you. 😆

The purpose of this review is not intended to attack the skill levels of the barbers in this shop but more specifically to address the lack of professionalism that come from a very few. Recently, I took my 6yr old son to get a haircut. While my son was in the chair the two barbers (left side of shop) were having a personal discussion centered around “Riding sh***y cars and still getting p***y”. It was rather loud and inappropriate so I walked over and said can you please refrain from using that language while my son is in the chair. As I walked back to my seat the barber felt offended by the constructive criticism and in front of all the other patrons told me that “I’m sheltering my kid” and “This is a barber shop”. I hear ya. First, don’t tell me how to raise my kid, there’s a time and a place for everything. Secondly, this is coming from the same barber that sends his own child to a Christian school. While I understand there are certain ethics of a barber shop, I don’t necessarily find it professional when people don’t use situational awareness around youth. If you have children and you care about the language they use don’t go to magic wrist. How can I buy and support my own when folks don’t have the decency to respect my own? ##staywokeonthis

Been coming to this barber shop for a little over a year now and have never had a bad experience. I always go to my girl Jessica because she knows the way I like my hair done. I highly recommend her whether its a haircut, beard trim or a clean up, she hooks it every time.

Wes the owner was great. Very friendly and professional. Would suggest to make an appointment as they are busy but the cut is well worth even waiting as a walk in.

Havent been to this particular shop, but I have been to Brandons past shops and he is an excellent barber. Highly skilled, very polite, makes sure your satisfied and is big on sanitation! Would highly recommend to all men, women and children.

By far the best barber shop I have ever been to. West is a true professional and an artist. The new appointment system really makes it a breeze for me to stop by when its convenient for me. You cant pay enough for great service, definitely stop by.

Pretty terrible. I went after seeing/reading all the good reviews but it was far from that. The only words she spoke were what do you wanna do and at the end she just said 20 bucks. I told her 4 on top and leave the bangs a little past finger length then she was cutting the top and passed the clippers straight through my bangs. The fade was done well but its faded into an awkwardly long buzz cut now because I have no bangs so Im not sure if thats even a plus. Would not recommend or go back.

They have a sign-up system where you add your name to a list and wait for them to call you instead of waiting. Ive been there twice and Ive added my name to the list but Ive never been called. I tried to sit down and wait for my haircut but they told me to leave and come back when they call. Fort Walton Beach needs better barber shops.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I arrived around 4 pm on a Tues. There was about 4 people ahead of us so we waited. During this time a good 30-45 min. had passed not one barber spoke to us but we heard good things about Magic Wrist so continued to wait for our turn. When it was finally my sons turn we were turned away because the barber had an appointment @ 5:30 & just didnt have time. I will never go back worst customer service Ive ever experanced.

One of the best, iv been continuously going to Magic wrist since middle school, and they has never failed to give me a clean and fresh cut every single time. The atmosphere is great, while everyone can get comfortable and ready for a nice hair cut.

I ended up with the owner (Wes) and he seems like he is a great guy, and is a great barber, he was very professional and he gave me a great hair cut, cost me every cent of 20 bucks 10/10 I’m going again 10/10 I have already and will continue recommending magic wrist to friends.

If you dont have an appointment dont go. I see barbers writing names down on their appointment list as they see them through the door. One barber took two hours to do half a fade and line up. Wes is by the far best barber Ive ever known, but you have to have an appointment or else you just get brushed aside by everyone else there.
