The people that work there are fantastic, especially the young man who is always courteous and respectful. I however, think nature of the location is the one of the few downsides. Too many loiters and panhandlers. It would also be nice if they were open on Saturdayfor a few hours like most other post offices.
The cashiers are very friendly. The line moves very quickly which is wonderful when you dont have much time to spare. Thanks Ladies.
Im a regular at this location, and have nothing but praise for it. When I opened my small business last year and began mailing out orders, the ladies here went about and beyond to explain my different options, always helping me make the best choice. They took a really overwhelming process, and made it fun and surprisingly cost-effective. Now Im in there multiple times a week.Side note: I usually try to avoid visiting on Monday mornings or Friday afternoons, since the place can be packed. Thats not the workers fault though, just the general spike of weekend mailing. Still, worth mentioning if youre in a hurry!
If you’re looking for a pleasant customer experience, I would sooner recommend your local DMV
I like old time and historical places with fort smith is great and amazingly.
Really cool how the missed delivery notice says this post office is open for pickups from 6am to 11am but when i went there at 10 it was a ghost town and the lobby was locked up. super convenient for someome who works m-f 8-5 to be told to pick up a package at a post office thats only open m-f 8-4:30. love that. love that their own information about their own post office on their printed slips that they give people is wrong. super cool.ive tried going at 12 during my lunchbreak for a different package and arrived to see a very long line of people waiting at the desk for 20 minutes because no one was there to help them. now, i get that everyone deserves a lunch break, but if theyre going to be open through lunch, maybe itd be good to have (1) one person stay there? or, at the Very least, have a sign or any indication that theyre all gone for lunch? maybe? just maybe.just really annoyed that i have to take my lunch early in Hopes of having the only amount of time during the week to get my stuff that belongs to me. is it impossible to stay open til 6? impossible to Not be lying about those saturday hours? :/ i feel like it shouldnt be this hard to pick up mail.
It’s a post office. they’re not paid to make you feel special, they’re paid to ship mail. I’ve never had any problems. Articulate logically and the employees are all pleasant.
Terrible customer service! Nobody willing to even try to help me.
Absolutely horrible! They have lost my packages that were on hold saying theres no hold on file and even the 1-800 number tracked my package and said its on hold at the post office... Some of the staff are super nice meanwhile others are super rude and have horrible customer service and get an attitude when you ask a some question
Horrible customer service to the point my husband was threatened by post man after asking about a missing package. We just moved to the area. Before the move was complete I called this post office to ask they leave slips for packages when we are not home so we can pick them up at yhe office. They failed to do this and one packages went missing. When my husband called to inquire about this the post master was rude. After the call he gave post man my husbands personal number stating he acvused him of theft. The post man said he will come to our house after work out of uniform to teach my husband a lesson. My husband was furious not only about the general threat but he had to work and I his pregnant wife would be home alone. We called the cops of course but it should never came to that. Now they dont even bother to knock when we have packages needing to be delivered. This doesnt help the situation as it causes delay in our delivery and after our encounter whos to say the package wont get lost at the office. Worst experience and really makes me rethink moving to Fort Smith.
Why!! don’t they listen!!!! I put in my change of address over a MONTH ago, and even got a confirmation letter- I was expecting a package to arrive, and it said online it was delivered at my old address, for whatever reason.So I went down to the post office again to talk to them. They said their database was down (which.. how are they working at all if their ‘database’ is down? Why is this always an excuse that people pull?), and that the most they could do was give the postman a note about it, but he ‘probably’ wouldn’t be able to check on the package until Monday, as it’s a Friday that I went to see about it.I’m scared my package has been stolen, or at the very least, WILL be stolen over this course of days waiting on them to find out about it...Mark my words, if it has been stolen, I’m raising hell.I should also mention that BOTH of the women working there were extremely rude. They kept trying to blame me for this, somehow? I showed them the confirmation letter that said my change of address had been accepted, but it did no good, they still acted like it was my fault! All I wanted was my mail. One of their only jobs is to properly deliver mail- they get paid to do that! Why couldn’t they?
You’re supposed to be able to pick up packages starting at 6am IF YOU CAN GET ANYONE TO ANSER THE PICK UP DOOR!
Eh de post office is okay. Surely not de place to sit & write your letter. Buying packaging/envelopes or anything beyond paying for delivery service anyways is extremely expensive i highly suggest you come prepared or get your packaging from somewhere else. Sometimes de post man that delivers mail to my house drops de letters in de ground but theres a couple different guys so idk who it is its not de squirrels Ive actually caught de back of his head trotting off as a letter fell to de ground barely even putting in de mailbox it was like he threw it at de door but i couldnt catch de guy to ask him what his problem is & Ive found lost letters in de street before that were others mail including an elderly ladys rent (i returned de letter to de lady thats what she said). One day i chased him across de street & down de road calling for him to get a letter he ignored to pick uP & he got in de truck & drove off. Post man gets mad if i pick my name label off de box but they do not use it anyway (i dont like my name on de box for anyone no particular to see my name on my house where i live. You dont tell EVERYONE your address?) Sometimes i return a letter post man gets mad & we both argue whether or not it says or current resident hes gone postal haha crazy jerk 😣
Stuck in the past, slow to embrace modern technology. Nice government building . Same dull boring atmosphere.
Local mail&&more where you live!
Use it a few times, convenient location
Rude employee n trying to say I put 5 change of address in 1 day when I know I didnt n wouldnt give me a change of address I will never go back there
