Im giving you guys a great review and very happily I just dont know where to send it I hope everybody goes to you I hope my doctor comes back after her baby is born and while the nurse should be taking care of we really like your shes the best were so good introduced to this doctor Southpoint Florida in Fort Myers she is very great with her dog she loves all dogs she does want to taking care of them thank you

I was pleasantly surprised. I’m spending winter in Florida with my pug and needed to find a vet. Because it’s such a nice facility, my first question was, how much is a nail trim? If they gouged me on that one, I was ready to move on. Nope. $12. So I brought my girl in. He discovered an infection under her wrinkle. Gave her a thorough exam. Treated her paw chewing. Put her on a diet. Got my cpl months of flea/tick that she needed. Didn’t break the bank. Plus, responded to my email questions. Scout has found her new vet in Fort Myers.

Im picky about the veterinary staff I allow to treat my pets, which is why Pets First is the third veterinary practice Ive been to in our area. Turns out third time was a charm! I was completely impressed by the entire team! The receptionist, technian and doctor were all very kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making my pets visit as stress free as possible.

My dog is a new patient and found the establishment very clean and are professional. So far all is positive.

The staff at Pets First Animal Hospital were kind, caring and simply wonderful. Dr. Flores was great. He took his time to explain all the details of my dog’s ailments and gave great advice. This was my first visit and I was impressed and will continue using Pets First Hospital.

This is a great place to take your dog. They’re nice there. They fit my dogs in their schedule when they need to be ❤️

I came across in a stray cat that was injured with a nasty infection. Thankfully, they were able to get us in. The vet and staff did a wonderful job of helping this young cat. He needs more care and he needs a forever home... hopefully l can help this little guy get that too. I have 2 cats that would love to visit them too...🙃

Had a great experience with this vet! The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and down to Earth. My husband and I could tell he really cared about our pet Anakins wellbeing. The staff is very kind and nice to work with. I really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming. They took the time to make sure Edison was super comfortable and wasnt scared. In fact, he was so interested in his treats that he didnt seem to notice his vaccines. Everyone gave him a lot of affection and reassurance. I appreciated the amount of information I was given. The vaccines were explained to me, they explained the examination process, they told me what side effects to look for, and even sent me home with a list of foods my puppy can/cannot have. I was more than impressed with this office. Edison approves, as well.

My first visit with my cat Siam for a UTI, I found them to be very thorough and great follow-up by staff and doctor to discuss results of tests.

I was there with my Yorkie, getting a dental exam. Had to wait a few extra minutes but the staff kept me up to date that another dog was on the way for an emergency visit. The communication was great. Also knowing that if it was my Thor that needed emergency help, I could expect the same urgency they were giving the other pup, and that made me happy too. They also work so well with Petland regarding any issues you may have with your new fur baby.

The vets and techs are always amazing! I trust them completely for the care of my babies. My dogs do not fear going to the vet because they know they will be showered in love and attention from the entire staff. We love Pets First! Couldn’t have had a better experience. We have been going there for 4 years and will continue to do so. Thanks Pets First!!

Every time I take my fur baby to see the veterinarian here we are welcomed with smiles. The ladies treat my baby with such love and care. My pup is a member of my family and I consider him my fur son and it pleasing and reassuring to find a vet service that treats my pup with quality care at an affordable price. His verterinarian is knowledgeable and doesn’t try to talk me into extra services he doesn’t need. I don’t usually place reviews but I’m so well pleased with their service. For any single parents or anyone really who decides to get a new pet and are looking for an affordable vet and grooming service look no further. This is the place for you.

5 stars are not enough. There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr Laura and all of the staff at Pets First. The one and only time I have been there was to say goodbye to my furbaby Tiger (Walker). The kindness, compassion, patience, and love they showed us and Tiger was astounding from the initial visit to the incredible sympathy card they sent (personalized and signed by everyone at Pets First). I am calling today to make an appt for my other cat as they will be my new vet going forward. In addition to the amazing compassion they showed in our time of grief Pets First is also very reasonably priced. Unfortunately I lost another furbaby recently (as all of my cats are elderly) and he passed at home. I brought him to Pet Angels which is a wonderful business, as well. I had him cremated so I know exactly what they charge. When pets first cremated (through Pet Angel) Tiger they only charged what I thought was $30 more. When I went to pick Tiger up not only had they cremated him but they did a paw print for me and also a keepsake box with his name engraved. Had I done that myself it would have been way more expensive then the extra $30 so in essence going through Pets First was less expensive then if I had done it on my own. They now have a customer for life. I have been in Fort Myers for 7 yrs and was going to a vet right around the corner from Pets First on McGregor, spent thousands with them over the 7 yrs and the minute I said I wanted to price up treatments with another vet, they dumped me like a scorned lover and were unprofessional and rude to another vets staff member who called for records. I am so glad I found Pets First and Dr Laura. I highly recommend them!!

Marley loves everyone there and he gets the best treatment and they are always giving us advice for him!! We have never owned a dachshund, so they have given us all sorts of advice. Marley always gets excited when he sees everyone. If we have any questions they always find a answer and the doctor calls and checks in on Marley from time to time! I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a great veterinarian!!! Marley is only 6 months old dachshund, and 15 pounds, and he suffers from separation anxiety, and they have helped us through this process with his anxiety and obedience.

These guys are so amazing—professional, kind, understanding and no high-pressure sales tactics. My fur-babies love them too! Cannot recommend them more!

Over the years, we have taken several of our cats to Pets First here in Cape Coral, for a variety of health care issues. EVERY visit has been first rate in every respect. They are the only place I would take our beloved little fur buddies.

Was my vet for several years... Office staff was always excellent but I recently had a terrible experience with the vet and will not be back.

I have always felt that André, my Bichon, was always well cared for from the moment we first stepped through the doorway. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

I was very pleased with my first visit. I havent always had the best experience with vet clinics. My old vet was a drunk and I would come home to even sicker cats at the new vet I was going to. I came to Pets First in good spirit because of all the positive reviews I have read and its the first time Ive left a vet office without being disappointed. The clinic was clean, service was in good time frame, and the employees have wonderful attitudes. The most negative reviews I seen were cost and in all honesty, there rates are very affordable. I will return, especially after I put them through the trouble of reading an Ukrainian animal passport.

Brought my recently purchased puppy from Fort Myers Petland here for her initial appointment and shared my concerns on skin patches she has. I was told that they were bug bite infections and she was given an injection and medication and cream. After being there 3x with no resolve I brought her to another vet. She was immediately diagnosed with a heriditary, genetic, incurable skin disease. She will need extensive treatment and care. This disease is itchy, smelly, painful and she is loosing her hair. We love her and will take care of her. She is a part of our family now. Not knowing yet that our first dog we purchased was sick, we bought a second puppy from Petland. My husband and I were grieving the loss of our family pet and did not know better. We just wanted healthy fur babies after dealing with cancer treatments and surgery for years. I felt this important enough to tell everyone to stay away from Petland and this vet that they send you to.

Pets first is always giving my dog the best care. Not just in person but through too many texts and phone calls that Ive had with them. They never act like my questions are stupid and Im so happy theyve been there for me when I needed them I would highly recommend this Clinic thank you Pets First in Fort Myers

First visit with our 2 puppies. Staff very friendly and helpful. Doc Flinn very caring. Once I got home though my Beau started to throw up.Figures it’s the weekend coming up - not sure if this can wait till Monday. Fingers crossed for my little boy.

I was dog sitting for my best friend when her old pup hurt her leg. I called pets first and they immediately fit me in. The girl on the phone was extremely patient and made a very stressful situation a much more pleasant one. Although I found out her dog has a bad knee and frequently injures it, I was glad I wound up taking her to this vet. I will certainly be bringing the rest of my pets here. The doctor was amazing. She was very kind and gentle. Thanks for helping me out with my friends dog!

The best animal hospital in South Florida! The staff is warm and welcoming. It feels like family when I bring my french bulldog in. The medical team is easy to talk to and always gives excellent care to my dog Penny. Its the kind of service that is rare to find. Ive been a customer for four years and Ill never bring Penny to any other animal hospital. Dr. Laxton is the friendliest vet and very knowledgeable. Would enthusiastically recommend. Our pets deserve the best!

Absolutely love this place! The care my dog has received is second to none. The team is caring, knowledgeable, and very thorough. They take the time to get to know your pet and you never feel like they rush through the appointment. We had to go to the emergency after hours vet one time and the next day first thing in the morning I got a call from Pets First asking about it and making sure he was okay and I had all my questions answered.I could go on and on about how great they are, but the best review is how happy my dog gets when we pull into the parking lot. He recognizes the place and goes nuts with excitement!

Honestly I always end up leaving as a satisfied customer, great friendly staff. Have helped me with both of my dogs over the years and they treat them as family which is the best you can hope for.

My experience couldnt have been any better. The staff was wonderful and made sure that I knew all of the prices of what they were doing before they actually did it just to make sure that I would be able to afford it. Because I am a college student and I was a little nervous when I brought in 4 cats. But overall they made it a wonderful experience.

Pet’s First is very kind and thorough when it comes to caring for your furry family member. They are also a bit pricey and require check-ups more frequently than other vets.

Not knowledge at all. DO NOT recommend. They tried to give my new puppy 3 shots at once and the other vet I went to said it would have killed him!!!! Very money hungry people. The vet didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know myself. This place is a disgrace. Just being honest. Way way over priced too. I would give a 0 star if I could. NOT CARING WHAT SO EVER EITHER!

Very nice and courteous staff! I originally came to this place for a Groupon/friend recommendation, and I really do like the place! My schnauzer looks so cute after his haircut and I was able to drop him off in the morning and pick up later after work. So nice to not have to change my work schedule. The office is clean and they have a really good wellness plan for vaccines.

Everyone in the office is wonderful to work with. They truly, genuinely care which is refreshing and appreciated. They went above and beyond the call of duty. We highly recommend.

They are the best !!!! And they are so cute. They send me a post card, with a super cute pic of my puppy, with Avery one saying “Welcome Oso” O wouldn’t recomend this place to everyone. De vet is awesome and the nurses too. They are all lovely and really passionate about their jobs. My puppy didn’t even felt the vaccines because of the way they did it. Thanks so much for your attention and dedication.

My husband and I cant say enough great things about Pet First Hospital! The level of service we have received from the staff and docs has been, hands down, the most pleasant experience. Specifically, Dr. Laura Laxton and office manager Ryan are so patient, kind and informative to anxious doggy parents. The follow up call after a sick visit and our puppys spaying was so appreciated and have happened like clockwork. They truly care! I highly recommend them to anyone.

This vet is top notch. My dog suffered hives from something he ate. The vet made room for us to come in and have him checked. We took him home and he cleared up. I was worried about the hives returning over Thanksgiving so they prescribed a medication to use in case. I continued the prescribed medication and luckily did not need the prescription. The staff is very caring. They even called us first thing Friday morning to check on him. I have had 2 other dogs before the two I have now and love the feel of a small vet that knows your dog. Highly recommended.

I love Pets First Animal Hospital. The Vet is great and so caring. Also the groomer is also wonderful. Everyone is so loving and caring.

Seemed to not have a lot of experience with cats. Paid the bill and then took my cat to another Vet in the area, that serves primarily cats, the diagnosis was different and the problem is getting resolved. In my opinion, Pets First is primarily for dogs and has limited experience with Cats. I would not recommend for Cats. Quite expensive also.

I had my dog groomed there. My poor dog was chowing desperately her paws and her skin was all pink, also had uneven areas long hair and shorter. Never take your dog there.

Dog needed surgery, they said they would get back to me on prices and when the surgery would be and never did. The environment was more like a doctor setting and I think it should be more dog friendly.
