Some professionalism is appreciated when a potential customer calls your shop and asks if you cut hair for women. You shouldnt tell them that you do, but everyone is really busy this week. And, you dont offer an opening for any other days.

Learned of Famous Fades from a family member. I am new to Ft Myers and a senior citizen so a bit skeptical about going to a place named Famous Fades . But called, then drove over for a walk in cut @ 09:00 AM on Wednesday morning. Their were already 2 fellows getting cuts (both senior citizens) so I immediately felt comfortable. One of the available cutters, Curtis, seated me. He did an excellent job, best cut I have had in 10 years from different barbers where I moved from. The shop was well lit, super clean, and the entire staff friendly. Fades is a hidden gem and I look forward to my next cut !

One of the most nerve wracking things about moving to a new area for me was finding someone you trust to cut my hair. Especially after 12+ years of going to the same barber. I found Famous Fades by searching on Google for barber shop with the highest ratings, and I have to agree with all the reviews. They were professional, very friendly, and gave me a great cut just based on some pictures I showed him of my previous hairstyles. Ill def be going back for as long as Im living in the Ft Myers/Estero area.

I’ve been going to see Jamere every two weeks for the past year and it’s a good price and a good cut every time. I recently moved to the other side of town and it never even crossed my mind to look for another shop.

For a long time I thought this was the best barbershop, until this past Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. I came without an appointment as I usually do and I was very disappointed to see how they prioritized their appointments before the walk-ins, I waited an hour and a half and no one could cut my hair, I left angry and I will never return.
