I have very straight hair and it is extremely difficult to find a barber that can give me a quality haircut. I have been going to Scavellis Barber Shop for over 3 years and the barber I usually go to is April. She is an excellent barber/hairstylist and when I leave, I am always satisfied with my haircut.

The people here are awesome and they really pay close attention to detail when it comes to hair cuts! I’ve never left disappointed! I was out of town for a while, so needed a haircut somewhere else that botched it up, and my barber April was able to save it when I got back. I won’t be going anywhere else!

If youre looking for a straight razor shave, THIS is the shop! Ask for Richard, the mans been doing it for decades, has a masters touch, and it SHOWS! If youve had a shave before you know whats, what, and this place isnt short on delivering that great experience. Definitely want to call and book if you can, otherwise make it a habit to go before noon.Cant recommend this man highly enough!

An average barber shop at best. I been going to this shop for over two years. The barber I went to, Gary, recently retire. A result I have tried several other barbers in the shop. None are as good as Gary. On two separate occasions I had an appointment booked. When I arrived, I was told the barber never showed up and I had to rebook an appointment. No one called to inform me the barber was not going to be in on the day of my appointment. No real customer focus. With the recent price increase I felt it was time to move on and find a new barber which I have, and I am back to getting a great haircut.

Clean, friendly, honest shop. Moved to this part of SoFlo from the east coast SoFlo March ‘20.Tried others nearby and Scavelli’s is the best.Giaco, April, Pat, Linda, all are great. Good classic men’s shop without attitude and frills.Did i mention CLEAN and friendly at a fair price.

Get the best haircut here!! Its not a fancy hair salon. Its a barber shop... but thats why I like it. Ask for Linda! You wont be disappointed!!

I have gotten my hair cut by Jen the last two times I went to Scavelli’s. She does a great job and ensure that you are happy with the haircut before you leave. I have sent 2 other friends her way and they were happy with their haircuts as well. Would recommend.

So my father in law when to this place and they charge him 29 dollars for a cut that normally costs 10 to 15 dollars in any other shop. Hes 61years old and dont need any especial cut.

I had April cut my hair and she did an amazing job. She let me book even though it was later in the day and the store was near closing. I was very happy with how my cut turned out and will definitely be back.

First time back since shop reopened. They got the shop setup great. Social distance, masks, two chairs for each barber to rotate to, and appointments only. Give them a try. Never had a bad cut.

Great all around barbershop. Nothing fancy. Great haircuts however you want it done from high and tight flat tops to scissor stylng. Even had a straight razor shave here once. Ive had great cuts from Linda and Gary myself, but Im sure all the barbers here do a great job.

I have been coming here since the beginning of this year and I love it!! Amazing atmosphere with a great staff, I HIGHLY recommend Richard however everyone else in there will do a fantastic job either way. Really good price for the quality of cut you get in return.

Depends on who you get. Pat is not a good choice. Not a good cut and then spends 15 minutes trimming. ? Apparently cant see. The girl is the best.

I go to scavellis as a walk in every time. And most times it’s towards the end of the day. Gary the one barber there has cut my hair several times now and every time he does a great job. The whole staff is very personable and friendly and very talented. I highly recommend Gary or Darcy. Great place.

Great haircut and reasonably priced!

I usually don’t do reviews but now I’ve had two bad experiences here. This place over charges and has terrible service. I walked in with my grandfather, asked the barber if they shave and the barber replied “I guess.” I had to wait longer because apparently he was the only barber that could use a straight blade. I notice the negotiate energy from the barber because the haircut was taking longer than the barber expected and he still didn’t start to shave. Half way through the haircut the barber tells me he might not be able to do the shave because my grandfathers beard is “thick.” He attempted to shave my grandfathers beard and cut him multiple times to the point he was bleeding and my grandfather asked him not to finish his shave. When I went to lay the barber charged me for two haircuts. When I asked why the barber replied “I have him a full haircut and shave.” I’ve never had to pay $45 for a haircut before. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you need a barber shop go to FORT MYERS BARBER SHOP!!! Ask for Hamed, Chino, or Chris although everyone in that shop is good they are the best. Usually I go there but they were completely booked and my grandfather needed a haircut today.

Great barbershop! Fun nostalgic atmosphere and the barbers cut hair the right way and how you want it. Also give hot lather and straight razor neck trim with every haircut. Started going here after I got sick of being disappointed in my haircut from other chain shops. I have been going here exclusively since. Have never had a bad hair cut from here. A cut costs 20 bucks and its worth every penny.

The first time I came in I was amazed how friendly everybody was I just moved here from Naples April cut my hair and that was it shes been cutting my hair ever since best haircut i have ever gotten shes the best!!!

Be worn ask for pricing I came in with my kids. I paid $66 for three tapes, shape ups or trims how ever you call it. The staff is super friendly but the price is to jacked up.

April is an excellent barber

Only a few dollars more than franchised barbers and a much better service. First time at a true barber. I used the man closest to the door, dont remember his name, but he was great.

Not impressed by service. Old guy cut my neck. Too expensive for the quality of the service. The other two workers look more interested in their job. Look somewhere else!

I was looking for a great place to get a haircut in the Naples Area! This place is in Fort Myers and worth the 15 minute drive! This is an Old School Barber Shop like Tonys Mug and Brush in Concord Ohio! The Owner does a great job hiring barbers! Every one of them knows how to cut hair! I had David give me my haircut! Fantastic! Stop in and look no more! JZ

So I drove by their shop the other day and thought it looked too busy...(its busy because there really good) so i decided to try another place instead. I made a horrible decision and should have waited probably 10 minutes for the cut. I went to another shop and got the worst haircut ever! I drove to scavellis the next day and waited under 5 min for someone to help me out with my mess of a hair. They were able to fix the disaster, and made my hair look great! I highly recommend this barber shop, the barbers there are awesome. They are the real deal. I walked in looking like a monster and walked out looking like a million bucks. Thank you!!!

I would avoid the shop if you are a mother taking your children. You may be made uncomfortable, or have your children hear things youd rather they didnt... not a family friendly environment. I wish someone would have told me.
