TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONAL AUTO SHOPI was in Ft Myers for about 5 months living with my family in a travel trailer. Had some major issues with my truck which tows the big trailer and these guys worked through a ton of the issues with me. Always willing to explain things, work with me on timing, and could have taken advantage of me as a non mechanic but never did. Had to redo all front brakes components and tie rods, hubs, AC compressor, transmission flush, B&G fuel clean, airbag sensor, and some other things I’ve already forgotten about. Prices seemed fair and glad I found down to earth mechanics while in town to make our vehicle safer and put my mind at ease.Great work guys and thank you for how seriously you take your jobs. Excellent work keeping the old conversion van working. Fixed the AC that had not worked well for the last 5 years. They are experts.

Mike is an honest and sincere guy...just had my oil changed here..and they came highly recommended from a friend..so I used them...might have to have extensive oil leaks repaired here very soon...and Mike has been very honest and upfront about the cost and repairs that will be needed to get the job done correctly...they make you feel like family 👍😁

I highly recommend Scotts automotive. I had many thing done on my Ford f150 (breaks, O2 sensor, water pump and a few other things.) Mike did a great job communicating and keeping me posted on the progress. While working on the truck they ran into some unexpected problems with rust and corrosion, Mike called Me immediately to inform me of the challenges and had multiple solutions to move forward to help minimise further expense. They did an amazing job.

I thought my rear tail light socket melted and was told by OBrien Hyundai Dealership that it would cost $80 just to get a diagnosis, not including parts or instillation. Scottys Automotive not only gave me the correct diagnosis (socket not melted) but took care of everything for $22. They took great care of me and I appreciate the more than fair cost!

So I bought a used 2002 Jaguar drove it for a year and didn’t even realize how badly it was running until I took it to Scotty’s Automotive on McGregor. Wow what a difference. Very professional and thorough. They have earned my complete trust! Quality service, parts and workmanship. Just a great staff. Highly recommend!

Came to get a common $20 part fix, said it was $300 for that.. Then of course they recommend a water hose to be replaced that is $350.. Then they said I would need a flush as well of course another $150 and a serpentine belt to finish it off. Would recommend Jerrys Tire and Auto just down the street. Called him told him the issue, bought all the quality parts for $70, did the labor for $180 and saved over $400... I wanted to do business with Scottys but they didnt want to do business with me I guess

I needed some electrical work done to my wheelchair accessible ramp van. Found out about Scotty’s down the road from me. Being new to the area, I was looking for a shop. They had to replace some expensive parts but got me a great price with a quick turn around. I’m limited on my driving options and it really helped.Here I am less than a week later lamenting the air conditioning going out and dreading the added expense. Since I was just here and the previous repair was so expensive, David and Mike and the guys helped me out tremendously. I don’t know how I can adequately thank them. I guarantee you that they will have ALL my business going forward.If you need a repair shop that you can trust, these are the people!

3rd time is not so charming. Car died,, towed to Scottys. Its your battery. Old, and not enough amps. Cool, so end of day, drive away repaired. Next day, car dies. Towed to Scottys. Oops, must have been your alternator ...and while we are doing alternator, good to do timing belt. Cool, end of day, drive away repaired. Next day, no AC (which had worked perfectly). So, back to Scottys. what an amazing coincidence that your AC would not work now. Drove away...never to return. And not so cool, eh?

Came first time. Brought coupon to save. And will have to pay more for oil filter. Such a sneaky hidden cost. Nobody did to me before. I would not recommend this place. They are shady.

I recommend this shop to anyone. If you ever dreamed about a CLEAN SHOWROOM type mechanic shop, look nowhere else. Great service at best prices. We took our own cars and recommended it to many friends receiving the same feedback. Congratulations to a good business.

I have been trying to get a car from there I have called multiple times and they say they will call. E back but I still havent heard from them. And I was really forward to getting a car from there.

From start to finish (very fast) great experience. They know their stuff and very fair priced. They installed AC compressor and water pump on a 98 Corvette. Even provided ride home and job was completed early afternoon of the same day I brought in.

Terrible service. Made 8am appointment had to call them at 2:30on for status. Still checking car mechanic working on other cars not just mine. I left a list to be done and needed the work done first time ever this has happened to me. They brag about how busy they are. Guess they dont need more customers picking car up will take somewhere else

Asked how much oil change would be, assuming they have done a Dodge Ram before🙄. Quoted 50, but turned out to be 59. Forgot to add disposal fee and taxes. I am leery of a place that lowballs a quote or that cant let you know there will be other fees.

First time using Scottys Auto, and the last, over charges for parts by an astronomical amount, I can understand a shop marking up parts a little, say 10 or 15%,but this place practically triples the price and they put the dam wrong spark plugs in my car, this was done by their master mechanic hate to see what a new guy would do to a car. Took my repair bill to the local Ford/Lincoln dealer and the entire job would have cost me $200 LESS at the dealership, and I wouldnt have to go and buy and replace the spark plugs with the correct one either. I will never be back and will tell everyone I know do not every use Scottys Auto Repair. Also they blew it big time as this was a test to use them for our company vehicles, a total of 19 cars. Ill be using the dealership service from here on out.
