This was awesome! Found through Groupon and will book these guys again for a future trip. Guy was so nice over the phone and the Captain and mate aboard were just as cool. I believe their names were Captain Bill and John, either way they were friendly, helpful and we caught some fish! Thank you for doing the cleaning and providing us with a fun Sunday. We did a shared ride and lucked out with people from back in our hometown. Relaxing and fun, will definitely return.

What a fun trip. I found this guy, Captain Guy, FISH Lauderdale, on a Fort Lauderdale Groupon. On a call direct to him, he gave discount rate and guaranteed we would go out on the day we calendared. What a blessing. ... I do believe that God provides guidance day to day.If I had done Groupon, I’d be holding an unused ticket because the others for our day dropped out. We had a private charter with Capt Guy and First Mate Brandon.He recommended South Port Raw Bar for getting our fresh king mackerel filets cooked. (Brandon went extra mile and removed skin! We tipped him, that’s for sure.) Since we came to meet the boat with a Lyft, Captain Guy graciously offered to take us in his boat to the dock of the restaurant!(The Restaurant was excellent. Jennifer was our wonderful waitress.)We caught 2 eating size king mackerel, a 13-Lb king mackerel and a little tunny.This is the way to go fishing! No more than 6 customers.What good memories this trip provided.Highly recommend.

This is a stand up company!!!! I went on a fishing trip with this company and with Capt Guy. After 2 hours on the trip I started to feel real sick from the waves. I ended the trip after a few hours and the company refunded 1/2 my fee without even asking them. Thank you and I’m so glad to see a company truly cares about doing the right thing.

I booked a shared fishing charter and had a great morning with lots of catches. However, at the end of the trip Captain Bob did not want to give me any fish due to “finances”. I tipped 15% of the total price but maybe that was not enough? This was my first time charter fishing. He ended up giving me less than half of what I caught. Also, Captain Bob spent most of the trip yelling at the mate and being rude to other customers. If you decide to book with is Company and Bob is your Capital, I suggest to just walk off the boat and demand a refund!

Went out fishing with captain Don and his first mate. Some guy named “captain guy” did the scheduling for the trip even though he was in the hospital. Don stated he wasn’t all there in the head and screwed up our departing time. We were scheueled to meet them at the dock at noon. We ended up leaving the dock at 12:15 and we originally paid for a three hour charter but we were back to the dock at 2:15 cause he said he had another charter right after even though we only got 2 hours of fishin in instead of 3. Didn’t get to keep any of our fish we caught like it was advertised on the website. Neither of the guys talked at all the whole trip unless we asked them questions. I would suggest going with a different charter company instead of this one. These guys are more about making as much money as possible instead of customer satisfaction. Half star rating

The captain was very rude and only cared about money and tips and was swearing at the other lady with us he was very unprofessional where his mate was very nice and made sure each of us caught something I just felt bad he had to deal with an a** of a captain.. the captain didnt let us keep any fish either like it was advertised next time im in Florida I wont be using this charter even if I have to pay a little more for the trip I make

The brothers that run this, Chris & Brennen are the best of the best. This has been a lifelong dream of my husbands, we happy to say 1 sail fish & 14 other fish & we have 1 thing checked off our bucket list. Thank you for such a memorable experience. We loved it!

Me and my boyfriend went on a fishing trip 6 months ago. We did not realize that since going on our first and only trip this company was charging us $150 every month for the past 6 months!! We contacted them and requested to be refunded. They said they would look into it and we never heard back!! Now they are avoiding our calls. Do not use this company they are FRAUDS!

I went out fishing today with the friend of mine and my parents and we had a great time. The crew was very professional and they were very good. It was a fairly rough day but the captain made it a comfortable ride and we caught vanitas as well as a king fish a wahoo and 3 mahi. I will go again thanks again crew

We had a fantastic day out on the water!!! The captain and first mate were excellent to spend the day with and knowledgeable! Able to BYOB and slayed a variety of fish! King mackerel, blackfin tuna, Bonita’s and a nice Barracuda!! Awesome time, will be using again and highly recommend!

Absolutely spectacular experience. 😍👍😊It was so much fun with Captain Brendon and John aboard! My son caught a 70 lbs over 7fl sail fish - he was the happiest kid on the planet😁. The crew is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, personable and helpful. They are very down to earth and make you feel right at home. We felt very safe and comfortable on the boat. The guys went above and beyond and expanded my son’s priceless experience Beyond his wildest dreams as well as smoked the fish for us!!!! The whole experience was amazing and we will definitely do it again with Fish Lauderdale!!! Love these guys ❤️❤️❤️

My son and I took a half day charter on THE MONSTER. Captain Bob and First Mate Brandon were very knowledgeable and experienced in offshore navigation and fishing. We caught mahi-mahi, blackfin tuna and bonita. I highly recommend this charter! And yes, we enjoyed blackfin tuna sushi later that afternoon.

We went out fishing this week with a couple of friends of mine and their kids and had a great time. The crew is extremely professional and friendly and to top it off we caught Blackfin tunas, king mackerel barracudas and some every larger Benita. The mate who was very good fillet up the Blackfin Tunas and the Kings. Were already planning to go again. See you in November!

Captin Guy and Tyler were awesome, the six of us had a blast. We caught a ton of fish even though it was choppy out. Best Charter ever!! We will definitely be referring Caption Guy and Fish Lauderdale to everyone and we will be back!

Did the half day shared charter with my 10 year old son. Captain Bob and 1st mate Brandon did a great job! We caught plenty of fish had a great time. I would highly recommend this charter.

Exactly what I needed. Chris organized all the details and joe & mike took us out. cool guys, experienced and down to earth. we caught a couple fish, enjoyed a good 4 hours on the ocean, rank some beers, ate a pineapple, everything we couldve asked for. great time. nothing pampered but if you want to do something interesting with your day this is a good time.

Having grown up in South Florida and fishing my whole life, I know what to expect on a charter trip. Made a last minute decision with friends to book a trip with these guys and it was everything I expected and then some! They knew the perfect spots for us to catch some awesome fish. I would recommend these guys over any other charter company in all of South Florida!

This was the experience if a lifetime! We had so much fun. Chris & Brennen were amazing. We have went on many larger fishing charters & always had a good time but this was PERFECT, with only 4 people on the boat the guys focused on what our family wanted to catch. We caught so many fish! We even got a 70 sailfish! I can not wait to bring the rest of my family down so we can go again! Woth every penny!

Awesome trip!!! Went out saying were getting a sail! While out there the crew was fun and knowledgeable. Constant fun fights. Then Capt. Chris did it again and hooked up a sail. Never a bad time, especially when you got out like Babe Ruth and call your spotfish and nail it.

I work with charters around Florida, but I sent some friends and family out with Captain Mike and they had a fantastic time. Fishing was a little slow that day, but they still caught a decent amount of fish and Mike and his mate Brandon really showed them a good time. Ive also been out with Mike personally and I couldnt have asked for more.

We had an amazing time with Bobby and the Captain on The Monster. Great guys that know how to have a good time and catch some fish.

I went out fishing with my family the kids had a great time they caught a small fish to start off with and then we went sail fishing and caught a hammerhead shark it was a lot of fun we will do it again

I was completely scammed by this company. I spoke to Chris on the phone but his Dad was our first mate with captain Bob. I purchased and used a Groupon, ($350) which they knew a month prior to my trip when I made my reservation. I called three days prior and again spoke with Chris who confirmed our trip. When we arrived, my family ( two children) were told since it is a 6 person boat and we only had 4 people they would only be taking us out for 3 hours instead of the 4 hours we paid for. Then he said we had to pay a $20 per person gratuity ($80) prior to boarding if we wanted to take the trip. As my children stand there looking disappointed. We agreed and paid. They did not provide any live bait it was instead using artificial bait. We trolled fairly close to off shore and caught about 5 bonitas. Spent the next hour and half without catching anything, just watching the crew argue acting like they didnt have a clue how to fish. For the last thirty minutes of our trip, they used the bonitas we caught as live bait to catch one barracuda. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

These guys are the worst.No action captain was a big grouch!!First mate was lazy.I wouldn’t go with these guys if you paid me to go.Ive been on a lot of charters and this was by far the worst.

I wouldnt recommend a morning trip. Heres how it goes:1. Start late2. Spend first hour fishing for bait3. Wait and watch mate make leaders from scratch.4. Troll with one or two of the bait fish (rest to be used for another trip). Catch nothing5. Bottom fish briefly. Two guests reel in two of three small bonitas caught. Mate reels in third.6. Return to pier early.7. Tip mate. Mates father (not on boat, just at pier) demands mate hand over tip. Looks at it and scoffs8. Very grumpy captain has hand out for tip also9. Leave early and empty handed.

Cant wait to go back!!My husband and I have been going to ft.Lauderdale for the past 4 years. We got hooked on deep sea fishing at various charters. This year we brought our 4 year old. This was our first time with these guys. From the moment I met Chris and Brandon, I knew it was going to be one heck of a great trip! I could feel the sincere excitement from these 2. We launched, and got 2 banitas right off the rip. Once we got out further to sea, we knew we hooked a big one, my husband reeled in a big Golden Amber Jack. Shortly after that, I hooked a couple King fish, yellow fin tuna, a couple mackrel and also a big Amber Jack myself. The crew is outstanding. The boat very clean, the atmosphere very comfortable. The crew was very attentive to what we wanted to accomplish. And we sure did. Also id like to point out that my son, 4 years old had a great time as well. The guys interacted with him very well. As a mother safety is important, as is the happiness of my child. Once we docked, we took some photos, let our son help with the hosing of the boat and watched as our fish was cleaned and filleted. They even helped us pack it up for our drive back to Pennsylvania. I cant say enough good things about this charter.My husband cooked up the tuna Monday for our family, the mackrel is being smoked:)All around an amazing day! We are certainly going to return !

Can unfortunately not recommend these guys at Fish Lauderdale.This is how it works:1. You buy a Groupon or book a trip with Fish Lauderdale.2. If you booked a trip directly with Fish Lauderdale without a Groupon, go to step 3. If you bought a Groupon with Fish Lauderdale its time to book your fishing trip. Sometimes it is hard to get in touch with Fish Lauderdale, but they will respond in the end.3. Now you have booked your fishing charter trip with Fish Lauderdale. You only have to wait until the day you agreed upon to.4. Now it is the day you agreed upon to. You will drive to this address 1005 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, exactly the same address as Chris told you on the phone. When you get to this address no one at Fish Lauderdale will be there. There will only be a bunch of guys at the docks telling you that Sometimes Chris shows up, sometimes he doesnt. They will try to get you out on a boat anyways but at a much higher price as you agreed upon to with Chris. $160 or up/person. This is the way the run their business. They collect money from you through Groupon and when they selling their trips when you are at their dock. All fishing guys in the area now each other very well. They now exactly how to get more money out of you.I think this is not the right way of running a business. You show up, but the business doesnt and the business still collects your money. I want to warn everyone out there. This is me and my girlfriends experience, we lost both time and money that day.

Im going to give these guys a 4 star, and I do mean a 4 star. Obviously there will be some complaints. First off, we got a heck of a deal for two guys to have a private charter for 5 hours. Gino and Andy were the crew members that helped us out. Andy was laid back and all about the fishing. Gino, feisty but fun (hes rough around the edges but a good guy). The waters were calm so, fishing for the big ones were going to be hard. We only took about 45 min to bait fish, and we caught a lot of them.Within the first 20 minutes of casting out, we caught our first Mahi Mahi, and within 5 minutes after that, we caught our second. The crew said they were trophies (both were around 15-20lbs and 43 inches long).Literally within 5-10 minutes after catching the second Mahi Mahi, my buddy caught a horse eye jack it was about 35 inches. Finally caught a small barracuda after that. Fishing was slow as the afternoon went on, but we were happy.I will tell you this, anything is negotiable. Just remember that. All fishermen are going to be rough around the edges and dont take that personally.The only complaint that I can really think of is that, you should bring extra money to tip. Unfortunately we were not informed of that and that was the first thing they said to us as soon as we took off.
