Look no further for the best barber in Ft. Lauderdale. I’m from out of town and picked this spot off Yelp and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Called at 10 & Carlos saw me at 11. I haven’t had much luck with barbers in the past so I sat down and asked Carlos to do whatever he thought would look best and he completely exceeded my expectations, especially since I didn’t give him any direction. I come down to Ft. Lauderdale every 3 months and I will be returning to see Carlos anytime I’m in town! Thanks so much again!

Just arrived in Fort Lauderdale from Philly and wanted a clean cut. Carlos took care of me with a super sharp skin fade. He has high attention to detail and definitely takes pride in his craft. Some barbers will rush and try to cut your hair as quickly as possible. Not Carlos. He took his time making sure my fade was dope as possible. Cut took about 45 minutes. Mentrendz and Carlos are legit!

Carlos is the man! Pays extremely close attention to detail. Came in with a full head of dreads and told him I wanted the sides shaved. Asked me to show him exactly what I wanted. Did that, and even showed him several pictures of what I want and still asked more questions to make sure i got what I wanted. 2 cuts later and I can tell you the man is legit! I came here for a haircut on New Years Eve, due to it being close to the timeshare . I got a haircut and old fashion hot shave, 1st time, and it was great. I didnt know it it but the owner was cutting my hair, he did a great job. If you need a haircut I would recommend this place.

Carlos hooked it up! I was in town visiting some family and needed to get tightened up. Made an appointment online for next day and he greeted us at the door at open. Given the social distancing rules in place, it was nice to be the only one in there for the duration of the cut. I’m really particular about my fade and have gone to the same guy back home for six years, but Carlos did a great job. Walked him through what I usually get and he got me dialed in. Cool guy and great experience. Will be back.

These guys know cuts! Plain and simple. Some of these other barbers out here got themes and other nonsense, but when it comes down to it they don’t cut hair well. I got a cut from Nick and it was on point. Good price, good conversation and great service. What else ya need?

I live in Ft. lauderdale and after a few visits I can confidently say that I now consider this place my hometown barbershop. Its got the small hometown vibe, unlike most corporate shops. I travel for work a lot, so I know it’s like rolling the dice when trying a new barbershop. Nothing worse than getting a bad haircut. If you’re a local or visiting, you don’t have to worry about a bad cut here. I have had my hair cut by both Carlos and Nick. You can’t go wrong either way. Both very experienced and know how to give a proper cut for a fair price.
