Went in for the first time today. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even informed me upon walking in my appointment would be just a few minutes behind as my barber finished another client. I booked with Andre and it was a great experience. I’m still being COVID safe and when I asked him if he could wear a mask he did so with no issue which I DEFINITELY appreciate. I got EXACTLY what I asked for plus a beard trim. Overall a great experience. Found this place via a recommendation from a friend. Will definitely be back for more of my grooming needs. Decent price for what you get.

James did an excellent job shaping a goatee grown out of control. Now its evenly faded to shape I could never do at home. Book an appointment & the warm towel treatment alone will be relaxingly worth it.

Just found my new favorite barber at Buck & Beard. Andre, thanks for helping me out! You have a ton of passion for cutting hair and helping people look their best. Overall, this was the best fade I have had in a long time. If you need a clean sharp cut go see Andre. Definitely recommend this shop and this barber.

I went in for a beard trim. The man in the front told me it was $20. He took me to someones chair to trim my beard. After it was done the barber told me it was $25. But the really big issue is this Barber cut the hair around my ears!! I have been working a long time to let my hair grow out longer. I did not go in there for a haircut of any kind!! This Barber had no business touching my hair!!! I went for a beard trim and beard trim only!! I will not put my trust in this establishment again.

The experience was fantastic well taken care of no rush for the cut. The barber was knowledgeable in both my haircut and my beard. It was a little bit pricey for my taste but at the end of the day it was specialized and tailored to my concerns. The environment was friendly the workstations were clean. One of the best parts about the cut was when the barber was using the straight edge he was very slow and meticulous almost methodical in his area of expertise.

I called to make an appointment at 3:00 pm with anyone who was available. I was given an appointment time of 3:30 and I was told to be on time for which I was. I waited patiently for 45 minutes pass my appointment time. I then saw that the Barber who I was to get a trim with was not happy with having to service me and made it very clear to the receptionist in Spanish. I understood what was happening and told the barber that if he didn’t want to give me a trim that I would keep waiting for another Barber, he realized that I understood Spanish and apologize, but the damage was done.Men as well as women go to such a place to unwind, relax and be pampered. I felt unwelcome, uncomfortable and out of place. I will never step foot in there again. The Barber rushed through my trim and did a bad job.Really bad experience.

Let me start by saying I got a really good haircut. I selected first available and it assigned me to Sarah. She was kind and she gave me a really good cut. I showed her a few photos from the Buck and Beard instagram for reference. She asked some questions and got started. I would absolutely let her cut my hair again.Here are the two issues I had:1. I signed up online for Gentleman cut (cut + shampoo + hot towel facial) because its been a rough week and I wanted a bit a nice afternoon. This entire service lasted 18 minutes, no hot towel, no shampoo, but the upside she only charged me for lower priced service. I was also not able to tip in cash as there was no one there to break my bill.2. She spent the service speaking to the stylist next to me. They spoke Spanish, and she did ask if I spoke spanish, but, unfortunately I dont. To me, my visits to the barbershop are supposed to be an experience. I dont mind paying for that. But this wasnt it.Again, GREAT CUT, and I dont want that to go unnoticed. But the experience was below expectation.

I have been getting my haircut by Mikey at Buck and Beard since I moved down to Fort Lauderdale in October. He is a great barber. His attention to detail is incredible.It is very easy to book an appointment right through their website. They send text reminders which I find helpful. The shop is very clean and the staff very nice.I highly recommend Mikey and Buck and Beard to anyone looking for a great cut!

I would like to give my relief here that he was very badly treated or an employee named Sabrina who didnt even receive it. I had an appointment and I told him to sit in a chair and I had been waiting a long time, I didnt like the treatment. I was your client. He never comes back, so I made an appointment because I didnt have that time so I got there I had to wait a lot longer, I didnt like it.

When I moved here, I tried several places around FTL and I’m so happy I found Buck & Beard. Abdallah is amazing! Been seeing him for almost 6 months now. He takes great care of me and pays attention to the details, all while being one of the nicest people I know. Highly recommend!

Afonso Bras is the best barber I’ve ever had. I look much more “put together” after a haircut and beard trim from Afonso. I used to trim my beard myself-never again! His haircuts are priced very reasonably at $25. And Afonso is a sweet, caring, beautiful man. Buck and beard is also doing a great job of maintaining cleanliness and social distancing. Treat yourself and get a haircut from Afonso. If you want to be spoiled, add a beard trim with the hot towel treatment-about $30.

Had a great experience with the boys at Buck and Beard this Friday. Mikey V did an awesome job with my beard I was OVER THE MOON with his expertise.Then Gio did a great job on my pompadour... and not just a clipper cut... these guys take there time with actual scissors and shears.Both gentlemen are Executive level and are truly consummate professionals at their craft.The shop is located in Wilton Manors 815 NE 13th StIt has a great layout with a kinda Modern meets Industrial feel... actually very cool and pretty chic.It’s also handicapped accessible with plenty of parking. Cost is very fair I was out the door at $85 with a $10 tip for each guy.I traveled over 25 miles from Miami there that good.I strongly recommend you make an appointment.The walk in is always welcome but the Executive level guys are almost always booked solid. Excellent customer service, professional barbers, extremely clean & welcoming. This is my 3rd time at Buck & Beard & Im never disappointed. Sabino is my go to Barber. Hes professional & actually knows what he is doing. He listens intently as the style Id like & then brings it to life. I drive 30 mins each way just to get my hair cut by him. Lastly, because I do have a longer beard it can be difficult at times to find a barber that can properly groom a beard & Sabino does an outstanding job. I highly recommend you have your hair & beard cut by him at Buck & Beard. I applaud Buck & Beard for raising the standard for Barbershops across the board. Keep up the good work gentlemen.

I had a haircut and hot towel shave from Alfonso on Monday. Alfonso’s appearance can be a bit intimidating but I found him to be very kind and sweet. What a wonderful experience! He was a great conversationalist and made my first time being shaved by another person very pleasant. He takes he work very seriously and I loved both the haircut and shave. I will certainly be back. FLL is fortunate to have such a unique, nice place. Treat yourself, get the hot towel shave!

Since they reopened a few months ago I go in and see Derrick for my haircut. I always feel like a new man after my executive fade. Service is top notch and one of the best barbers in Broward Area. I will be back in a few weeks.

Buck and beard barber shop is a modern, clean and professional barbershop. I went for the first time several days ago for a haircut and beard trim. I was fortunate to have Derrick (?) as my barber. Within 30 minutes, I was transformed into a new man :-)

Really unimpressed at the amateurish job they did here. Service was cold. Barber said maybe 3 words to me and did a mediocre job, especially considering the cost. Supposedly, this was their “skin fade specialist” and he didn’t even use a straight razor or any razor for that matter. He didn’t even blend in the fade, so that I ended up with prominent demarcations as the fade went from shorter to longer. There’s nothing about this shop that justified the higher prices for me. Some could argue that the interior is trendy and nicely designed, and it is. However, thar style and design were novel and impressive 10+ years ago but now just seems stale. I wouldn’t go back.

I just want to say how impressed I am at the fact that buck and beard has provided me with such great service even after two years of not coming. I finally returned to finally get rid of my quarantine hair and let me tell, Afonso is the man to go to when you need your hair and beard to look it’s best. The level of detail and touch that comes from this man is next level. I recommend him for any style of haircut or beard you want. I appreciate you man. Keep up the good work!

Josh is the first barber Ive met that got my haircut right on the first go. Usually it takes three or four attempts to get it done right, not so here. Josh is awesome, clearly knows what hes doing. The atmosphere at Buck and Beard is exactly what you would expect if you took your grandpas barbershop and mated it with a new age mens salon, and the dudes at B&B got that right too. Afonso is the best! Ive been to him a few times now. I get my beard trimmed and cleaned up every four months and Ill only go to Afonso. Hes clean and professional. Really takes his time to ensure quality work. He asks a lot of question to really understand what I want done and reaffirms throughout the entire process. From shaving my head, to facials, fades, and my beard, Afonso is an artist and barber. If youre anywhere from Boca to Miami, coming to Fort Lauderdale for Afonso is well worth it.

This was my first time getting an undercut and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Zeke was my barber and he was just fascinating. Homes I have never seen a better haircut done on my boyfriend. Derrick has gone above and beyond to make sure my mans hair looked great. I’m impressed and will recommend the shop and especially Derrick R to anyone.

I am on vacation look terrible BUT I will not go anywhere else bt Buck n Beard and will wait to come back. Erik is awesome and meticulous. Takes his time. If a barber could be compared to a bonsai expert he would be it paying attention to every detail.

This is a wonderful place to go to awesome atmosphere and the people are so friendly. Not just for men for women too. you can schedule an appointment online and be seen very quickly. Or just walk in and get served very quickly. My boyfriend has a beautiful beard and they always do exactly what he wants. He always comes out looking amazing. As for me all i ever need is a trim and they do a good job at it. Seriously this is a great place to go. Just remember always tip your barber because thats just a good thing to do.

Found this place by accident. I was attending a Grand Opening party next door at True Love Tattoo(which is awesome btw). Decided to get my haircut and glad I did! I found my new barber! Not only is the shop clean and organized but the staff is super friendly. I have had my haircut 3 times now by the barber Derek, hes super cool and gave me the best haircut Ive found in Fort Lauderdale in the last 7 years Ive been living here. Highly recommend!

The place is cool, seems like there are very talented barbers here. Mine however, was on his phone and generally didnt seem to have his heart in it for a $60 experience. Left feeling like I couldve gotten that cut down the road for $10.Edit -1 Gave the place another shot. Its just bad, and uncomfortable experience overall. Their prices dont match. I want a beard trim with my already $30 haircut and he wanted another $15? Just outrageously expensive and really not very talented barbers.

Afonso has proven yet again that his artistry and technical skills are VIP level. I’ve had my beard squared up/faded all around the world at top level spas and barbershops- and Afonso beats them all. He is friendly, his conversation is natural (which is nice if you don’t want to talk the whole time) and his attention to detail is perfect. I recommend Afonso for every service he offers!

This is my only go to place for a haircut. Was struggling to find a good Barber /stylist til I came here. Marc is an amazing barber that is extremely detailed oriented. He delivers outstanding cut after cut. Wont let anyone else mess with my hair. He gives excellent styling options for me and always helps me leave with the exact haircut I have in mind and describe to him. Try this place and ck out Marcs skills, wont be sorry!

Abood is THE barber to see. He’s got mad skills with the scissors and a razor. I’ve seen a lot of barbers and have found most either excel with the fade or the cut on top, but never both...but Abood is a perfectionist at both, as well with a beard trim. After searching for many years for someone that could deal with my hair and my curls, I came across Richie at this barbershop. He is by far the most determined and most talented dude at what he does. His passion and dedication shows. Richie will make sure everything about your haircut is perfect, and would be willing to take extra time to make it so. Buck and Beard excels because of Richie. I want to thank Sergio for giving me a 10/10 cut. I normally go to another barber in the area but was looking for someone new. I called the night before and spoke to a really friendly guy with a british accent on the phone. He booked me in with Sergio. The experience was professional and exactly what I wanted. High skin fade and clean scissor cut. I am very picky with my hair and no one ever does what I want. I showed Sergio a photo of a cut I liked, and we discussed what I wanted briefly. He took his time and went into detail. I could tell he really cares about his work. I am so happy with my results I will definitely go back to him again!

I dont get regular hair cuts because I have longer hair and have had hit and miss experiences with barbers when it comes to my beard and hair. The barber who worked with me did an excellent job, so I may have found the right place in which to return. The shop is pretty small, and its also located tight behind a bar/restaurant. Its easy to miss if you arent keeping an eye out. Everyone seemed nice. I was seated for my appointment very promptly. Care was given to manage the length exactly as I intended, and so I believe this is a very worthy spot. Do make an appointment, though. Theres not a whole lot of space available.

Awesome Place! Incredibly friendly staff that are on top of their game. Very skilled and in the know on hair styles and what works. You will never have a bad cut. They also offer other services worth checking out. Alfonso has been cutting my hair now for a while and has done Dynamite. My hair can be temperamental.

Aubrey is amazing. Ive followed him from his previous job and for a reason. If your not sure how you want your look exactly, he gives great advice. Always makes sure the cut is great. I go to him for both my son and I. The Barber shop was really clean and offers everything. I was impressed my first time coming here and definately coming back.
