I was a walk in as I’m from out of town (St Pete). I was told his name was Junie as I had to call and get his name once I got back to the hotel. It was absolutely the best haircut I have ever had. I told him once what I wanted. Well worth the price. I even tipped $15 because of the great service and best cut. Called the shop to make sure that its ok to come in as it was 6 o clock. I was assured that it was ok to come in to be mindful that they close at 7. From the moment I walked in around 6:20 I could tell the vibe was off, but against my better judgement I stayed. The first barber was buried in her phone obviously not interested taking a client at that time, I eventually sat and told her what I wanted. She told me she does not do beards haircuts only, you would think at this point I would just leave and wait for a better day. Nope, it gets worse. I eventually get another barber who rushed through a simple fade(I dont have much hair) and a beard trim(not shave, just line up). Didnt blend the fade, barely touched the beard, everything was off centered. All in all I told him just to buzz everything off(he did a poor job at that as well) 40 bucks plus tip ........lesson learned.

This week waa my 3rd time going to Joes Barbershop and I wish I started years ago. Everyone there is amazing, but I have seen Kat everytime as she is good energy. Highly recommended.

Well. I just went there today because a friend told me they cut hair and do fade out cut for $20 so the guy on the 3rd seat did the fade out, trim my bear that it was already short, like #1 I did my self, so he shave me and did a simple line on my head! And charge double 😱$40 like never ever in my life, didn’t even cut my hair, didn’t brush me or ask me for gel nothing and didn’t ever clean my ears that was full of hair! $40 and on top of that I was so nice I left my last $4 for tip! seriously! I pay $35 with tip to a better barber! I might go back to get my money back!

I called to set up an appointment for lined my beard. I go the opportunity to receive the service from barber Juni. He was super professional, and very detail oriented by the time he was completing the service. He is bilingual speaker (English/Spanish). Barber Juni asked what criteria I was looking for?, and I explained that all I wanted is lined by beard. After he lined the beard, I got in shock about how great my beard looks like. It was on shape!!! I decided to get a haircut and he went about and beyond my expectations.I have two swirl in hair and most of the time they are super visible making look my haircut like not very well ended. Barber Juni basically hidden them, and my hair cut looked GREAT!!! I really recommends this guy 100%.

This is one of the best barber shops in South Florida. Danny has cut my hair here for years now, and has NEVER chipped me up, not even once. They are friendly and clean, and if you dont want to wait for Danny or Jose there are many other skilled barbers that are employed here. There is a Chinese food place in the same plaza with decent food. If there is a wait I usually grab a bite to eat here, and by the time Im finished eating its my turn in the chair. I highly recommend this place.

I Just went to Joes barber shop today for the first time. Actually, it is the first time for me in a barber shop since I was a little kid. I am growing my first beard at 55 yo. I have always had a young face and it was time to grow up. I saw KAT who was very patient with me and worked with me to get the right cut for me. I didnt even feel rushed when a recurring customer of hers came in to wait for her and she still took her time to do what was needed. This young man was also very patient and I thanked him when I was done. It was actually comforting to know that someone was waiting for Kat whom I had never met. It meant she would do a great job. Everyone else in the shop was great and friendly as well. It had a good vibe. I was greeted when I arrived and told it may take 20 to 30 minutes. I was good with that but it only ended up being 10. I also was accidentally given the wrong change and returned the $5.00. I think it may have been Diego, thanked me for my honesty. I was impressed that he takes notice of all that is going on around him. Being a manger myself, that is a natural gift. You cant learn that. It means you pay attention to your people and customers. NO more hair stylist for me. I will be going there as long as I am here in Lauderdale. THANK YOU

This is a customer oriented barbershop with reasonable prices. On top of it, the hair styles they create are phenomenal and trendy. I had been in Florida for 2 years and I could not find an appropriate barber for me. Since I found them, I wouldnt have to go around and find an excellent barbershop, but to stick with them. Ive been going to Joes for a few years now. This place rocks! By far the best barbershop in town! All the staff is professional and consistent. Ive been to a few other places and no one gets it right like these guys. I have a full beard and an picky on who I let manicure it. Danny does a phenomenal job. Ive recommended and referred many people who have all been happy and now go here instead of their previous barbershops.

I can say with confidence that the barbers at this shop are true professionals and the family environment is definitely a plus. I went over to get a cut for the very first time, the barber seemed like he hated working there and was rushing to finish the cut, towards the end when I asked him to take a little of the top he was annoyed at the question and showed clear discontent that I was making him cut more of my hair. I will say the shop itself was clean, walked in on a Saturday mid day and got seated right away so this place isnt terrible and the cut despite the barbers demeanor came out nice. I would just say to focus on customer service a little more. I will be returning and trying out another barber and see how that goes.( MY ORIGINAL REVIEW IS ON TOP)As promised I returned to Joes for another cut with a different barber. Let me just say it was the best cut I have ever received, I quickly changed my 3 stars to 5 stars and had to edit my previous review. Luis is the man when it comes to fades & overall cut. The cut was good- i get a blowout and a 4 all around. I like my beard trimmed and lined up as well. However, my issue is price...$35. I have never paid more than $25 total with tip, ever. Will be looking tor other barber’s that don’t charge outrageous prices like that.

My barber Kat was awesome, I asked for a beard trim and she did exactly what I asked for. It was great experience, I walked out happy and sure I will be back again. They have a great atmosphere and do a great job on hair cuts but they advertise a straight razor shave that twice i have asked for and have been refused. Instead they used clippers on my face. I have sensitive skin and now im breaking out a lot as a result of yesterdays clipper shave. I have never had a full beard and my hair doesnt grow in thick but if I ask for a straight razor shave then that is what i am looking for.

I have been going there for almost 3 years and after this weekend, they have officially lost 3 customers. The past couple of cuts, I had a specific cut in mind. I showed the barbers pictures of exactly the cut I wanted. The first barber, didnt even come close to achieving it, after a couple of weeks tried another barber, failed attempt again. The third one was Danny. He actually nailed it. So when I go in this past Saturday, I get there exactly 5 minutes after the shop opened. I sat down in from of Danny and he says the guy already in his chair would take like 45 minutes. I said fine Id wait. Then he rattles off that he has 4 people also ahead of me. They were not there so he was basically just holding a place for them. Which is interesting because one thing I never liked about Joes is that they dont take appointments. But apparently if you are friends with them, they hold a spot for you. So I hesitantly went with another barber. Not only did he not cut my hair the way I wanted, massacred my hair but charged me for a specialty cut. All he did was shorten the top and clippers on the side. $25 for a barbershop cut. No other service. Also, they recently raised their prices and every barber charges a different price for the same cut. They have gotten sloppy and complacent. If you want no customer service, mediocre cuts and high prices then this is your place. There are so many other places in Fort Lauderdale that offer more services for $25. And actually are consistent with their cuts.And as you can tell, the only time the owners respond to these reviews are when they are 5 stars. They respond with Emojis.
