My boyfriend and I recently moved into Ora Flagler Village and things could not be more perfect. Not only is the apartment nice, clean and quiet it is also in a great location. On top of the apartment and amenities the team at this location is amazing. Specifically Paul and Juan who went above and beyond to show us around and assist in our move. Both team members were friendly, kind and professional. They even offered us water during our move!!! It was a really nice welcoming and I cant wait to see them around the building! :)

Erika and Brenda has helped us (my fiance and I) through our long distance move. Erika has helped us throughout our process here and was diligent in answering our questions. I highly recommend this apartment complex! There are two outstanding coffee shops nearby as well as a state-of-the-art gym and cycle studio. The neighborhood now quiet and perfectly placed outside of downtown. Try and get a place on the west side of the building for outstanding sunsets. 😉

This place has the absolute worst fire alarm testing protocol. After 4 and a half hours of non stop ringing I promise, the fire alarm system works.I’ve truly never seen anything like this before in my life. Sick in bed and for the better half of 4 hours .... all I hear is the most annoying sound you could possibly imagine.after it stopped for about 10 minutes I was able to start sleeping.I started to stir in my sleep when a shrill sound began vibrating in the air. I must have been in the deepest stage of my R.E.M. sleep pattern. Although I heard the sound somewhere in dreamland, I wouldnt wake up. Finally I came to and heard the deafening sound of the fire alarmFaculty gets 5 stars and rooms are very nice.Fire alarm issue brings this place to a 1 star rating.

I will leave my original review below for context. However, ever since the new property management company it has not been a pleasant experience interacting with the management office. They never once have answered the phone when I call. Ive needed to speak to someone on 6 or 7 occasions, including today. (I went in shortly after the property management switch because no one was answering and the manager gave me their new office number.)Today I went in to request an itemized account ledger. To have the her (leaving out her name) tell me that on Mondays theyre too busy and sometimes you have to leave a voicemail because they cant answer you... (Ive left voicemails prior with no callbacks.) Adding that Ive needed to speak to someone throughout several days of the week not just on Mondays. (Its Tuesday, after Memorial Day so I understand what she was trying to say.) Also, she told me to email them instead of calling. Im sorry but if an office cant pick up a phone, doesnt give me the impression that they will respond to an email in a timely manner.Lastly, her reasoning was that she was currently busy with other residents (I called 2 hours prior to walking in) and there was one other resident there who left while I was speaking to her, followed by a police officer (who the manager came to speak to during the conversation). Im not sure why she couldnt help me since one left and the other was being attended to. Leaving the office (more) frustrated and still without the information that I walked in for.I had to come here to retract my previous review, unfortunately it does not hold true anymore. Im sure residents can understand my frustration with the poor quality of communication here at ORA.Original Review Jan 2021My resident experience has been amazing. The staff is incredible and has gone above and beyond to help us. Brett, the leasing agent was hands down the reason we chose to move here! So welcoming and knowledgeable, and was very prepared for the tour by the time I arrived. Not to mention, he was super communicative and even followed up with us after we viewed several apartments in the area. (None of the other leasing agents in this area followed up with us.) His genuine personality is hard to come by, especially in this industry!

I have been living in this building for a year and a half. They have no cameras, packages go missing all the time. I have had 2 packages go missing in one month. Whenever you make the front office aware they dont do much about it. They also will not look at the cameras to help because they dont have any:) I will promise you your packages will get stolen and now it makes me question the type of people that live in the building and that are allowed in the building to steal something as simple as a Chewy box for animals. I would not recommend living here unless you want missing packages.

I had the pleasure of working with Brett Michael for my move in and things couldnt have gone better!I moved in on Halloween and Brett and the ORA staff were EXTREMELY welcoming and made the move in process simple. Moving is always tough and moving from out of state is even tougher! The apartment is beautiful located on the first floor and Brett and the staff have been welcoming and warm to me and my puppers.I would definitely recommend this building to anyone who is looking to move into the Flagler village area. The pool and amenities are incredible and everyone around here is very friendly=)ORA is the best!

Was a resident at Ora for a year before moving for work. Overall I enjoyed it, not enough for 5 stars but 4 stars is warranted. The only reason I took off a star was because of the poor communication from the building. If you want to talk with them and not be ignored, best to do it in person.Gym is decent, step above a hotel gym I would say. The pool is actually a really nice hang out spot. The high ceilings in the apartments are a nice touch and I enjoyed my apartment layout & fair rent. Some instances where I could hear my neighbors bass through my wall, but I think that is pretty common anywhere.Overall, I enjoyed Ora, not paid to write this or anything, and would recommend that people schedule a tour if looking for something in the area

I’ve been living here for a little over a year and it has truly been great. Brenda and the rest of the staff do an amazing job. However, there is one staff member (unsure of her name, but she is a brunette) who acts as if it is a bother to ask for any help. She gives off a very rude and condescending attitude every single time I ask for assistance. I would appreciate it if someone would do something about that. But other than that, this is a great place to live.

I have lived at Ora Flagler Village for two years and have absolutely no complaints. The staff are friendly and helpful, the building is meticulously maintained (even during COVID), and the safety and happiness of the residents is of utmost importance. They host fun resident events to bring the community together as a whole. The pool is never too crowded or rowdy - it just feels like you are relaxing at a luxury resort with friends. I was hesitant to move into an apartment but would recommend Ora to anyone!! Thank you Brenda, Erika, and staff for making Ora my home these last two years.

One of the best places to live in Fort Lauderdale in my opinion. I toured apt buildings in downtown, Flagler Village, and Victoria Park, and the Ora was by far the best bang for your buck if you will. It isnt the cheapest or the most expensive, its simply the best value. The Ora has one of the nicest, if not, the nicest pool in the area. The water is BY FAR the best quality Ive seen of all the pools. It doesnt smell like chlorine and its pristine clear. The pool is centrally located in the middle of the building with a good amount of cabanas, 2 massive grills, and plenty of chairs for sitting and tanning. The pool deck itself is beautiful, with trees and plants scattered around softening the infinity pool shoreline. The gym is top tier, and stays pretty quiet. Besides the 20+ machines available to accomplish any workout, it features a generous amount of crossfit equipment including heavy ropes. Seperate yoga/spinning room is great if you need a quiet area to zen out. Theres even a water bottle refill station that dispenses purified water.Youll find an amenity for every part of your day. The clubhouse features free cold brew (coffee) on tap 24/7 provided by Wells Coffee. Theres a bicycle room, Amazon delivery locker, pool table in the clubhouse along with a great working space and business center. There are also freeplay arcade games if youre feeling nostalgic. This place is very dog friendly. Youll find poop bag stations scattered around the property, a very nice grooming room with 2 elevated wash stations and a dryer. Complimentary dog treats are arranged near the entrance of the building. Plenty of grass around the building and a nice park across the street.Parking is in a gated multi-floor garage, unassigned and always available. Guest parking is in the garage which keeps your guests cars safe. Friendly security guards patrol the whole property at night, keeping the place clear of anything/anyone to worry about. The apartments themselves are as nice as they come, mainly because they are brand new (built in late 2017) with very tall ceilings. Floors are tile in the main areas and carpet in the bedrooms. Closets are big and tall. Incredible amount of cabinet space in the kitchen plus an island. Big balconies, either facing the pool or facing the city, ground floor units have their own enclosures.Stacked full-sized washer & dryer in its own closet. Kitchen features a dishwasher, microwave, glass electric range/oven and an ice-making fridge (all appliances Whirlpool energy efficient). Energy bulbs and appliances keep your electric bill very low. Fiber running to each unit for a quick comcast install. Data ports in the walls. The Ora is maintained by a phenomenal staff. The building is always spotless, which is incredibly important for me. The maintenance team also responds to most issues within minutes, but there arent really any issues, mostly just helpful question-answering.Overall, if youre considering Flagler Village, definitely consider stopping by and taking a tour. Dont be afraid to see a few different units in the building, there are quite a few variations to choose from and it will help you feel better with your decision in the long run.A big thanks to the Ora management office, you ladies are the best.

EDIT: The new management especially the new manager Brenda is extremely helpful and responsive to the residents’ issues. She is really friendly and help whenever she can! Ora Flagler has become a better place to live in the past couple of months and therefore I’m updating my review! My previous review:People living here party until morning with extremely loud music. People living in this community have no respect for the rules and the management does nothing to enforce them. There’s always issues either with trash, doors, elevators or the garage gate. It takes forever to get fixed for anything that’s not working in the building. There are much better buildings in this neighborhood with same or cheaper rent.

This place is going downhill fast. Changed 3 property managers in 3 years. It is non-smoking building, but apparently, people are still smoking on their balconies and stairway where they shouldnt be.I can confirm the accuracy of the previous reviews mentioning that if you complain about something to them, they will treat you like their enemies and make things very inconvenient and uncomfortable for you.Communication is a joke. They send out emails and if something changes, they will leave you a piece of paper attached to your front door at night. Youd better be ready to plan around their plan, not another way around.Do not expect to hear from them if something is broken in the building. My large order packages got lost twice. One star is for the only person who is willing to help, Johnathan. Other than Johnathan is hopeless. If these are problems that you want to deal with after moving in, this is your place.

Worst experience of my life! The team at this property is rude, disorganized, and flat out liar. Leave a voicemail you’ll never get a return phone call. Speak with someone you’ll never get a return phone call. I spent nearly $500 to apply for this community and they denied me. I called the company that does the credit check, they had a completely different persons social security. I’ve tried to explain this 15 times with the manager here. I’ve asked to speak with corporate numerous times aswell. Something is fishy with this place, pretty sure I was just completely robbed with no intention of delivering on the apartment. I will never live at a pinnacle property now, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Here in Fort Lauderdale there is endless options, don’t settle for these people.

We moved in here about two and a half months ago and couldn’t love it any more. Contrary to other reviews, myself and my boyfriend have found the staff to be friendly and responsive to any requests, and the community to be respectful while enjoying their fun.As a former Resident Assistant at an actual college dormitory, I can tell you that the environment at Ora is nothing of the sort, so don’t let other reviews sway you. One of the things I would always stress to my freshman residents was to always address your concerns with fellow community members in a productive and constructive way. That said, I’ve been hard-pressed to see anyone addressing their concerns with any other residents or staff at Ora.I will say that any time I have brought a concern to the staff of Ora, they’ve responded immediately and with thoughtful consideration of the community. The dogs that bark in the pool area are completely unacceptable, but after bringing my concern to our property manager, she addressed it immediately after reminding us of the pool hours. In the same night, our lovely security officer came over to warn us of the pool hours, which we happily observed and thanked him for being so vigilant. I am thoroughly impressed with the amenities and responsiveness of our community and I feel bad for those that don’t feel at ease here.In short, if you would like to move to a place like “The Queue,” I say by all means “line up” for the retirement home. This area is up-and-coming, and Ora is the epitome of the environment of Flagler Village. I would highly recommend Ora, and hope to see more people here soon!

Will not renew my lease here. We started off the wrong foot when we moved in with bugs in the fridge and sticky floors and cabinets. But thats past now. Generally speaking I like the building and the activities the management leads.Yet it seems like once the bad reviews turn to good ones, the management doesnt care about disappointing the tenants once more. The lease specifies that we were supposed to get gift cards when we move in. I have a copy of the lease and its there. Looks like they rather not give what they promised because every time we ask for it, they say theyll call us back but we dont hear back from them. Also, the realtor who referred this building to me is chasing the management for his fee. Its been 6 months since we moved in and the guy still didnt get paid for his labor exactly for the same reason - when it comes to giving something, even if its legally the tenants right to receive it - you can wait and wait and wait.I just cant think of any other reason to stall for so long - unless you have the intention of exhausting the tenants and hoping theyll forget about it.

Review №28

I wrote my first review as soon as we moved. At that time everything was fine! Now we have lived in Ora for almost a year and everything just got better. Ora is developing, constantly organizing various events for residents, offers to visit new cafes or restaurants with a discount. Its nice! The girls in the leasing office are very friendly, always come to the rescue. It is always very clean in the common areas and in the parking lot, in the area for animals there is always fresh water and treats. We do not have animals, but I often see how dogs, having come from a walk, drink water and get a snack from a jar. Very nice and pleasant to look at. About our apartment. Yes, I hear a train. But it not as noisy. Maybe I can hear it during the day some times (if I stay at home for a whole day), but during the night I dont hear the train. My husband has a good hearing and can tell what show the neighbor from above is watching, but the train doesn’t bother him. Neighbor by the way too! Even if he hears someones TV in the evening, then by 11 pm everything is already quiet! Sometimes (about once a month) I can hear voices through the wall in the kitchen. This mainly happens on weekends, apparently when guests come to our neighbors. But to hear their voices, I have to stand right by the wall. I think these are normal situations for an apartment complex! For the past year, nothing has broken from the equipment in our apartment, the service personnel came several times only to change the conditioner filter. For example, our friends live in an apartment complex that is one year older then Ora. And during this year they had issues with several false fire alarms, rain flooding, broken elevator. There are no such issues in Ora. We spent one day and visited nearby apartment complexes. We wanted to compare prices and generally see how the others look like. We were in 7 complexes. Yes, some apartment complexes have a bigger pool, but also a lot of apartments, and therefore more people bathing. Yes, in Satori the apartments have lots of square feet, but for two of us, there is no need in a giant apartment with a corner balcony. The balcony can accommodate a table, where you will sit and drink coffee and relax. So what? The balcony overlooks Sunrise Boulevard, where is always noisy and a lot of cars. Do not a really relaxed atmosphere. Other complexes proudly make a discount on the cost of rent, but look carefully - administrative fees are higher than those of Ora. Yes, this is a one-time payment, but if you put it into the monthly rent, it will be more than the same rent in Ora. People, count your money! We extended our lease for another year and are very pleased.

What is it that these companies are doing that it cost $500 for 1 app? Some people dont even make that in a week. Curious to know the process is and what the actual fees are to run an app. Crazy

I have been a long term residence of two years and would not recommend Ora. Management does not enforced the rules of the building and as a result their Smoke Free Living which is in the lease is not enforced. Residences smoke in their units which fill the hallways, in stair ways, on the patios and common areas. When such issues are brought up to management there is no response by email and if you talk directly they defer to the Property Manager who never responses. I suggest to rent from a Condo association run building where the staff actually cares about their building.

I’ve been living at Ora for close to a year now, and have lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for a while so I feel I can give a fairly honest and hopefully useful review. I was deciding between this place and Amaray at the time but I’m so happy I ended up choosing Ora. I’m super picky about certain finishes and materials and this place has checked off a lot of the things I had on my “wish list”. The pool area of course, not only is it absolutely beautiful but it’s extremely functional and cozy. It truly feels like a little oasis. Everything is always clean up kept and ready to be used. Grills, fire pit, kitchen, heated pool, gym etc. Since it’s still a new building, it’s never full. Have you noticed that Ora only has 6 floors but stands as tall as all other buildings nearby, it’s because the units all have very high ceilings, which automatically give the units a more grander bright feel to go along with some of the most gorgeous finishes I’ve seen in an apartment with very high quality materials.(floor to ceiling windows, beautiful quartz countertop kitchens, high-end appliances). But what honestly makes this place feel like home is the staff and all of the friends I’ve made here. Management always goes above and beyond especially with the monthly unique and fun events for the residents but mostly its the way the make you feel like you are family. And that can’t just be replicated anywhere, to have management that actually care and are this thoughtful are hard to come by and can’t be faked. This is honestly the best overall apartment I’ve ever lived in from the management, location, neighbors, amenities, design. This is not by all means the cheapest apartment in the area but i feel the best value for your buck. I highly recommend Ora if you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, peaceful, friendly, well managed building.

Potential tenants of this community: Avoid at all costsAs a current resident of this community, I can also agree with what previous reviewer Samuel Williamson has said. The issues in the community are as follows:- Management and staff never answer the phones for current residents. Their goal is to bring in as many leases as possible and every tenant paying rent, once theyve signed leases, is secondary in their list of priorities.- Overall loud/party-like atmosphereInstead of creating an atmosphere for tenants paying $2000+/month, management makes excuses for tenants that disrespect policies listed directly in each lease agreement. If you complain, like Samuel Williamson said, you will be treated with hostility and made to feel uncomfortable living in the community going forward. Management lies about what will be done/what is actually done and never apologizes for any of it.- Overall cleanliness of the communityHousekeeping is basically non-existent at ORA. The housekeeper vacuums maybe once every two weeks. It smells like marijuana and trash in the hallways. Again, nothing can be done because complaints either go unanswered, are responded to condescendingly, or youll be given an answer that doesnt end up being the truth.- Pets are left on balconiesSince lowering prices, the community has changed. Pets are left on balconies without food or water and management sends emails to all tenants warning of on-site policies with animals. Yet, when you complain about a pet in danger, nothing is done. Again, the community has no set policy of working with tenants to address and rectify ongoing issues amicably. It takes calling the local Humane Society to fix issues like this, which is disgusting when an animal is at-risk in 100+ degree weather.-Constant loitering at the pool/around the communityPool hours? Nonexistent. Consideration for tenants living with views of the area? Nonexistent, as well. People loiter in the pool areas after-hours and during weekends without any guest wristbands or monitoring. Every single view of this property is LOUD - do not be swayed by their comments of pool/downtown views or quiet area. You will hear the trains, you will hear every conversation/activity of your neighbors and you will hear loud people in the hallways.-SecuritySecurity guards loiter around the property on their cellphones. In a downtown area, I expected more when this was something offered as a community incentive. If I were to lease again in the downtown area, I would recommend The Queue as a better, more professional community. I regret my decision to live here every single day. Please lease there and do not be swayed by their incentives to fill this place up. Go to a better community that respects their tenants sincerely and values their business - there are many opening up in the Flagler Village/downtown area.Update: Please click on the 5 star reviews and see how many other reviews that person has left. If they leave only that review, its probably a fake internal review.
