STOP - LOOK ELSEWHERESeriously, look elsewhere. If for some reason you are still looking into renting from them, please read my full post. Atlantic Loft is the last company that you want to rent from. My experience with them was embarrassing at best. From their lack of care for their properties to their poor attempt and ability to manage their tenants rent payments. They do not care about their properties, only your money. The listing that was shown online had pictures from another unit and did not paint an accurate picture of my place. Once moved in, youll notice that most if not all the appliances and handy work was done poorly. Nothing was spectacular or average and even after heavily cleaning the unit it was a 2 / 10 at best. They claim they have luxury units but are so far from that its humorous. Property maintenance does not exist. The people that you work with from Atlantic Loft are not friendly and are in no way equipped to run a business. How they are still able to operate or even manage properties is beyond me. Again, look elsewhere! Actually, no, run elsewhere. As far as your payments go, they failed to charge the proper pro-rated amount when moving in and gladly accepted the full amount without noticing it in their statements. Secondly, somehow an extra payment of rent went through, which again they gladly accepted and were clueless when I approached them about it. When asked, they were unable to see the obvious extra month of rent that had been processed. After your first year be prepared for an increase in rent of at least 6%. Security deposit, another important thing to most tenants. I had to repeatedly call them and their new management company (Renters Warehouse) to get my deposit back, which took more than the month which was stated in their contract and they were in clear breach of contract. According to them it had already been sent out, which was not true. Had I not followed up with them and the property management company over 10 times, I would have lost my security deposit as they claimed it was already sent out. Both companies are clueless! Lastly, they dont ask you for background checks, run your credit or anything that would make you feel comfortable and safe when renting somewhere new. Aside from the constant smell of weed from our neighbors below, I had to call the cops on a possible domestic violence beneath us.In closing, I have never experienced such poor business etiquette and management. They have no place in the real estate world and should be avoided at all costs. I was not by any means high maintenance and required little if any work throughout my time there. So I highly advise you to rent elsewhere.
Great company! I was able to book a short term rental for a reasonable rate, and the apartment is stunning.
I’m so happy with this company the people work in here are very nice they help me find a beautiful place . the apartments condominium they very clean and big, I loved it, thanx for find me a Beautiful condominium I’m very excited.
No one here has a real estate license. Jamie is unlicensed and clearly doesnt know whats shes doing. Places are overpriced and when you move in, it will be hell to get someone to come and fix the apartment. They nickel and dime you so you dont get back much of your deposit. Move here at your own risk. Youve been warned!!!
Hands down the absolute worst company to rent from. They have no consideration for their tenents needs or safety. If you ever find yourself considering renting from Jaime, run as fast as you can. The fact that Florida hasn’t terminated her real estate license is a complete miracle. I’m constantly hearing about new terms and prices not discussed in the lease. Anytime I have any issue I’m ignored completely. Next time I’ll do my research. It’s unfortunate google makes me leave even one star with service like this.
These are NOT luxury apartments. Atlantic Loft is a SLUM LORD. I showed up on the move in date with requested money paid in advance. The unit at 1109 E Broward Blvd was filthy. Toilet not even cleaned, no shower head, stained mattress on the floor, spiders all over the walls and corners, hair all over the floor. Basically disguisting. Had to delay move in date and more promises unit would be ready and after having to make arrangements for the week, it was still not cleaned. They actually refused to prorate the rent for that week despite pics from the real estate agent showing the deplorable conditions. I had no choice but to move in the following week and documented the condition but ended up spending several hours cleaning the unit myself. The water was brown when I filled a white bowl for my dogs and they did not even check the filter in fridge which was cracked and so flooded the the fridge when I tried to use it. No answer or response from them other than to report it to Broward County if I didn’t like it. I had to move out after less than a week of using only bottled water to even wash dishes. Now they expect to keep $5000 between the first and last month and security and are a nightmare of a company. I am getting an attorney to get my money back. Spare yourself the agony. They are a vile business entity and are the very epitomy of SLUM LORDS. Worst apartment rental experience of my life and I had water tested which showed high copper content that is unlikely safe for human or animal consumption. That was when I made other living arrangements so hope this helps someone else avoid dealing with Atlantic Loft or their property manager Renter’s Warehouse.
Jaime is awesome. I highly recommend
Great 6 month short term lease, Jaime was very helpful!
They send random people from the property management to come into your apartment once per month to inspect. It’s in any lease that they have a right to access the property with 24hr notice but once a month to come inside and look around is ridiculous.
