I spent roughly three years renting a space at Jefferson Study and this place is truly a gem. Tucked away in old town fort collins J.Study provides an excellent working environment. Carl is a great guy, the building has tons of character, and you can expect a professional, but casual place to work remotely. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone searching for a workspace. Also, doesnt hurt that you can walk across the alley and grab a beer at the forge!!
I reached out to Carl at Jeffersons Study last year when I was moving to the area. I found a space that I thought would work well for me and the price was right. Carl was responsive and I felt confident about the space.Unfortunately when I arrived at the time and date we had agreed on to check out the space no one was there to meet with me. I waited for an hour before I finally left. I called a couple of times and sent an email, assuming something had come up. One of the other folks renting space let me in and I was able to check out the space for myself. This is an interesting location with some character, not a sterile feeling corporate location. It is also in a great location if you want to be downtown. Parking was easy enough to find close by.Due to circumstances I couldnt foresee I wasnt in the area long . Having just moved back to the area, just a few blocks away in fact, I am reminded how much of a bummer this turned out to be. I never heard back from Carl via phone call or email. Initially I was going to leave a 1 star review but the space is actually quite nice and I felt bad giving a small business a 1 star when there is nothing else to balance it out; as I am sure other people have had a positive experience. I am no longer in need of office space and I given my experience Id find it hard to recommend despite how much I liked what I saw. Maybe youll have better luck, maybe not.
This is a really comfortable and private place to cowork. Doesnt hurt that the building has a ton of character and a great location
