I was new to town, and very let down by another vet. I came to Dr. Mike for a second opinion. Although we didn’t have a happy ending for my girl, I know she was given the best care. The entire staff went above and beyond for us. Rates were affordable, communication was great. I would easily rate Dr. Mike as the best vet we have seen in my dogs’ 8 & 10 yrs of life. Thank you!

I can’t recommend the Pet Wellness Clinic enough. Since moving to the area we were having a hard time finding a vet that we really liked. My dog has elbow dysplasia and has seen many vets in his time. On our first visit Dr. Mok took the time to understand my dogs background, his lifestyle and our goals with him. He looked at him holistically rather than just focusing on the diagnosis. I have Never had a vet do this!Since then our experience with The Pet Wellness Clinic has been nothing but amazing. Dr. Mok personally reached out to a specialist for us on his own time to find more options for us rather than just giving us a name and sending us on our way. The vets take their time to really explain what’s going on with my pet and always are diligent about following up. The entire staff is very welcoming and takes their time with my anxious dog to make sure he is comfortable.We are so grateful we found a vet we can really trust and I can’t recommend them enough!

I started taking my puppy here several months ago because of a recommendation from a family friend. From day one, it has felt as though they attempt talking you into things that are completely unnecessary, in order to make money off of you and take advantage of the fact that people will do anything for their animal. They have proven themselves to be completely untrustworthy, specifically when they recommended a “preventative” stomach surgery for my Rottweiler. When I asked his breeder about it, she was absolutely appalled they would recommend such a thing for his breed. On top of that, I receive MULTIPLE phone calls a week, each from a different employee, asking me about the exact same things. Communication and organization between employees here is completely nonexistent. They also randomly called me after all of my puppy’s rounds of shots had been completed, trying to get me to bring him in for NO other reason than to “get an updated weight.”Most recently when I brought my dog in for allergies, the vet that we saw (it has been a different one every time) acted completely unprofessional and afraid of my dog, I’m assuming because he’s a Rottweiler. He is the most well-mannered, calm, even-tempered animal you will ever meet.They also called me to suggest trainers to bring my dog to, due to his “head shyness” that he has literally never exhibited - this “advice” was COMPLETELY unsolicited and unnecessary, not to mention flat out rude, as he has already completed obedience training (where he was regularly used as the good example for other dogs) and as I said before, has had ZERO behavioral issues whatsoever.I take great pride in taking care of my dog and because of this, he will NOT be going back to Pet Wellness.

My dachshund Lucille was in recently for a minor procedure Dental/removing a lipoma. All went great upon arrival. Dr Mason followed up . Later I took home a groggy but happy girl. Two days later I called the clinic before hours. Someone took the call. I was very concerned about a great deal of bruising at the surgical site. The employee walked me through how-to get the picture of this to them, for the doctor to review . Within ten minutes I received a return call, and asked to bring Lucille right in. Dr Mike examined her, and spoke the tech about the case. Clean bill. Lucille has an autoimmune diagnosis that can cause bruising. Thank you for once again for taking the very best care of us.

BEST VET!! I saw three other vet clinics with my cat before coming here and spent so much money just to have my cat keep getting sick. They covered all their bases here and called the other clinics for his info and spent so much time trying to figure out what was wrong with my cat with just the exam alone and I moved forward with tests. They spent time explaining what was wrong and recommendations on what would be best for him and my cat is finally getting better!!! Def would recommend.

We love the Pet Wellness Clinic. Our dog had ACL surgery here and physical therapy with Mayuko who we just love. She is amazing at her job and we highly recommend going here!

Attended my first OFA clinic today, all of the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They did wonderful with my dog and I am very pleased with the overall experience. I look forward to attending more in the future and potentially making them my primary veterinary clinic.

We had just been approved to adopt a rescue dog being fostered out of state when we received a call from the foster that the dog had become very ill. He had been taken to a local veterinary hospital however the staff were unable to provide a definitive diagnosis, despite extensive lab tests and x-rays. I called Brenda McClelland who immediately made herself available to help us. She reviewed the dogs medical information and recognized that the dog was in an Addisonians Crisiswhich required immediate life saving medication and treatment. Dr. Brenda contacted the hospital vet and tactfully guided them through the appropriate treatment protocol. She maintained communications with the staff over the next few days until we could get to Indiana to pick the dog up. After being misdiagnosed by no fewer than 4 other vets (including an internal medicine specialist), Brenda correctly diagnosed and saved this dogs life, sight unseen. She then refused to accept any payment from us for all the time she invested handling this consult. No words can express our gratitude for the kindness, compassion and sharing of veterinary expertise from the Pet Wellness Clinic.

Just recently moved to the area from out of state and I am so grateful we found this place. Dr. Mok and staff are top notch. The level of care they have provided my dogs well exceeded my expectations. When they treat your pets as if they were their own, you know you’re in the right place. If anyone is looking for a Vet clinic, I highly recommend calling them.

Dr Mok has been absolutely great to all three of our last dogs. He helped us through losing our husky to cancer, and has always been there for whatever we need. Hes kind, compassionate, and great with animals. He answers all of your questions and explains everything thoroughly. The staff here remember you and your animals, and they are never pushy or trying to force sales on you. I couldnt be happier.

There are a lot of vet clinics in Fort Collins as everyone knows. Lots of competition, lots of choices. Pet Wellness Clinic is the only place I would take our dog. Hes been going there for 6 years. Dr. Brenda and Dr. Mike, who own the clinic, are totally committed to providing the best service and care to their clients. They are always up to date on the latest research and procedures and many other clinics do not even offer all the services they can provide. They always give you the best options for your pets care so you can choose what feels right for your situation. Their advice and recommendations have never let us down, but then we trust them enough to follow their suggestions. I highly recommend you entrust your pets well-being to this vet practice.

It is hard to capture exactly how important The Pet Wellness Clinic has been in the lives of my dogs over the last six years.A few years ago, one of my dogs was very sick; we were sure he was near the end of his life. Dr. Meisen went above and beyond to diagnose my dog with Cushings Disease. He developed a treatment plan that worked wonders and gave my dog a new lease on life. Keeping up with the medications and tests he needed to make sure he was having no adverse effects was challenging. But the veterinarians, vet techs, and all other staff, helped to make sure my dog was happy and healthy.Before The Pet Wellness Clinic was recommended to me, I tried out two other veterinarian offices in town. Neither of them came close in care, cost, or convenience.Scheduling appointments is a breeze – you can do it over the phone, email, or through their app. They are open until 8pm weekdays, which is incredibly convenient for people who work during the day.Their prices are very reasonable. They offer a discount for bringing multiple pets together for their wellness exams and even have a rewards program.I can confidently say that so long as I live in Fort Collins, all of my animals will be going to The Pet Wellness Clinic. I cannot recommend this veterinary office highly enough.

Truly PERSONALIZED care. Dr.Mike took the time to explain EVERYTHING in great detail about how he was going to operate on our fur baby. So very very comforting both him and his wife are! The first call Dr.Brenda returned of mine, she spent a solid half an hour speaking with me about our options. Would recommend to ANYONE SEEKING GREAT CARE FOR THEIR PET.

I love this clinic. I had a rottweiler knee injury repaired as well as a female pup spayed. Also wellness and other checks done. I fully trust this Vet and highly recommend them. From nail clippings to surgery I wouldnt pick anyone else. I even drove down from Montana for a procedure because I trust them that much.

Great Vets and Vet Techs! We have been bringing our dogs to them for about the last 5 years. Very caring and knowledgeable. Also, their prices are very reasonable. We left our other vet when we the price difference for a knee surgery (Pet Wellness was half the price!). They were very good treating our dogs when one was diagnosed with cancer and the other with a bad heart valve. Would not hesitate for a second to recommend them.

I have been in the dog world for 16 years, raising, training, and showing my Border Collies and Rhodesian Ridgebacks. During that time I have encountered a lot of veterinarians, some good, some not so good. I have had nothing but good experiences at the Pet Wellness Clinic. I have brought 5 different dogs here over the years, and the staff have always gone above and beyond to make sure my dogs were comfortable with the experience. One of my dogs is snappy with strangers, and she LOVES the staff at Pet Wellness! I also love that many, if not most, of their vet techs have been there since I started going, so I feel like I know everyone there. They do all of my dogs routine care, and they are always bringing in specialists for health clinics so that my dogs can get all their genetic screening for breeding. I love that they give multiple dog discounts as well. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a reasonable, well educated veterinary staff who isnt just out for money!

I have been taking my animals to this vet for 8 years and have never had a bad experience. In fact, the staff has been kind and compassionate, even writing me a sincere and personal sympathy card when I had to put my cat down due to cancer. I have found their prices to be fair, they have not asked me to pay for test after test and when my cats have needed tests, they have been upfront about the cost and necessity. I no longer live in Fort Collins but gladly drive an hour to take my animals here as I am very happy with the medical care, prices, and staff.

We are so appreciative of the excellent care our chocolate lab has received at The Pet Wellness Clinic over the past three years. We are currently dealing with ongoing eye problems with our aging dog, and Dr. Mike and Dr. Brenda have worked closely with CSU to provide the most exceptional care we have ever received from a vet. They are both compassionate and caring and have taken the time to explainoptions to us to help us make the best decision for our dogs well being. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and we feel that the prices are very reasonable.

I bring all 7 of my pets to Pet Wellness and have had excellent experiences each time I have gone in. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Even though they are very busy most days, there have been times that I have gotten a next-day appointment for an issue that needed to be seen sooner rather than later. All the doctors have taken the time to explain things to my family and I in a clear, concise manner and they have all followed up personally the next day. Most recently, my dog came in with a bladder infection but a quick ultrasound showed something more and they recommended some medication and a follow up ultrasound a few weeks later. This is excellent, thorough medicine and I am very glad we followed up since the second ultrasound with the radiologist through Pet Wellness showed a clear bladder but discovered a tumor around my dogs heart and has given us enough time to see an oncologist for treatment. I owe them his life!! The patient-oriented care that they provide is worth every penny and I will continue to bring my pets to them for years to come.

I have never in my life had such a good experience with a vets office. I know its hard to trust a Google review and get a strangers advice but as a very very picky cat mother, I would have to say that this place is the best thing that has happened in my cats life. Those people truly care, their employees have been there forever and if it wasnt for Dr. Brenda McClellands guidance my cat would have probably been dead by now. She has gone above and beyond for us and Dr. Mike Jewell, whom my baby sees regularly, has performed his dental cleaning with incredible success. It sounds small, but anesthesia can be quite tricky and dangerous when performed by an inexperienced doctor and Dr. Mike is just the best you can find. We have visited other doctors in the Fort Collins area and they were very good but they just werent them.Sincerely,A forever grateful patient.

For the last year we were misled with diagnoses with one of our cats and one of our dogs. With our cat it was a UTI which I didnt feel comfortable with the whole situation and feel I was overcharged when the vet asked for a follow up visit which I was charged for.Our dog developed a fatty tumor and then went in for a dental. About two weeks later he developed a firm mass so returned to the clinic. At that point it was recommended to do a biopsy and was followed by a horror story about having the same situation with another dog two weeks prior which resulted in the dog going through a biopsy but were unable to stop the bleeding and had to put the dog down. We opt to make our dog comfortable and use the meds they suggested.With this all being said we chose to go to a different clinic. Both animals are very comfortable at their new clinic, we are as well. Both pets are now on the right path for the rest of their lives, as well as what foods and meds to give them. After being with this clinic for over 10yrs, it is very upsetting that they would treat or even think of not really caring as to how pet and pet parents are being treated. There is a whole lot more that can be said but the bottom line is we will not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dr. Brenda and Dr. Mike are the best. Their treatment has vastly improved our dogs quality of life. They are skilled, compassionate, and extremely responsive. By far the best veterinary care any of my pets have ever received.

Unfortunately my first experience with pet wellness was when my cat had to be put to sleep. I cant say enough about how amazing the staff at pet wellness was during the whole procedure. They were patient, caring, provided multiple boxes of tissues, and made sure my cat was as comfortable as possible. They stayed late to make sure I had enough time to say goodbye. The nurse gave me a hug before I left and I knew my cat had been given the best of care. They didnt try to insist on extensive procedures that wouldnt have been in the best interest of my 18 year old cat after other vets in the area did. I will continue to trust them with the care of my other pets!

We have been bringing our dog to this vet since we adopted her almost four years ago and we are very happy with the services they provide. Our dog is nervous in new places and hated going to the vet, so they recommended happy visits during slow times at the clinic for us to bring our dog in and just get acclimated to the place without being poked or prodded. That has really helped. We have them do anal gland expression ($20) and nail trimming ($4 per foot or so) in addition to the annual heartworm testing and the rabies vaccines every three years. Friendly staff who genuinely seem to care.

I first got started with The Pet Wellness Clinic when on of my Dachshunds went down and the Vet Teaching Hospital turned me away with few options when I said I couldnt afford surgery. The clinic gave me an option I could afford. Twice they helped me get that by back after he had gone down. As nature took its course and my older dogs time came I started all my new dogs with the Pet Wellness Clinic and have been very happy with all the doctors there. All my dogs walk right in the door when we visit.

We have used this veterinary practice for almost ten years and have never been disappointed. The staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, and all around wonderful. I have and will continue to recommend this practice to everyone I meet!

I do NOT recommend this vet hospital! They are very unprofessional. My main take away was they are unethical and their main concern is money not the pets well-being. Speaking from 6 years of being a vet tech and working with many veterinarians, this is not where you want to send your animal. There were numerous charges that were uncalled for and that was not what was agreed upon when there were explicit instructions. I have never encountered this kind of ripoff in veterinary medicine and am truly saddened with this experience.

The Pet Wellness Clinic is the best vet we have ever encountered. Our dogs have a variety of issues and we have dealt with everything from emotional issues to hip replacements to cancer with Dr. Mike and Dr. Brenda and the staff. Today, they stayed open late to treat one of our dogs, saving us a ton of money and the stress of having to visit an emergency vet. I cant say enough good things about them, they treat us and our dogs like family. We recommend them to everyone we know and everyone thanks us for the recommendation.

I had a recent great experience with one of the doctors here. I called to get a second opninon because my new vet (banfield, they switch doctors a lot) was running a bunch of tests on my dog and wasnt prescribing the right thing to address the problem and make him better. I felt very reassured after speaking with a doctor from here, that confirmed what I had been asking her to give him all along. He also made a point of asking me to check back in and update how my dog is doing in a week. My aunt has taken 3 of her dogs here and my cousins dog, and now I will be switching doctors myself once my annual plan is up. In the meantime, if I have any issues outside of my plan, I will be taking my dog here.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to the PWC for over five years and have used the services of all three doctors and all the vet techs. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and caring; you feel like part of the clinic family. The doctors are very careful that the human clients understand everything that is going on and can make informed decisions. The vets have good connections to the specialists at CSU and area specialty clinics. Their prices are not exorbitant.

These vets are the best! Theyve helped us so much with our dog, who has major stomach issues (IBD, EPI). They care as much about our dog as if she was their own!

After getting a second, third and fourth opinions from other vets, we have learned that this clinic is awful. All three other vets we went to agreed with each other, and soundly rejected the bad advice given to us from this place. Very glad we didnt take pet wellnesss advice; it would have been extremely costly and wholly unhelpful. I repeat: GO ELSEWHERE!!!

From the vets to the vet techs, everyone is happy, helpful and passionate about what they do. The crew does a great job of making you feel at home and part of the family. I love when I give my name to set up a visit and the CVT says (without looking at a chart), How is Peg doing!? She was so sweet when she was in last week! Its reassuring to know that they care for my kitty as an individual and not just another pet on a long patient list. The personal touch is spot on! I always feel comfortable and at ease if I have to leave kitty at the vet all day.Dr. Meisen Mok is, hands down, one of the most outstanding health professionals Ive ever met. He is THE BEST. I havent had experiences with the other vets here, but if youre looking for a recommendation, please heed my advice and choose Dr. Meisen Mok! He is very informed and insanely intelligent! He is thorough during his exams and explains everything in a very clear and understandable manner. He is personable and kind, and I really enjoy watching him work. He is wonderful at incorporating the owner in their pets wellness– he presents options for a course of action and then seeks the owners feedback to create the perfect plan. My kitty was recently diagnosed with cancer, and Dr. Meisen has called me every-other day (LITERALLY) to check up on her. I mean, how many other vets do that!? Like I said– AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!Ive never had a problem getting in touch with the staff at the office. Setting up appointments is easy as can be. I cannot recommend Dr. Brenda and Dr. Mike at the PWC enough. A few weeks ago I was over 5 days overdue to have my baby girl when our dog Maggie started regurgitating all of her food and water. My husband brought her into the PWC to see Dr. Brenda and she diagnosed Maggie with Megaesophogus right away. My husband was back and forth to the vet all day while Dr. Brenda tried to get Maggie stabilized and feeling better. At around 4pm I found out that I had to be induced and would be having our baby girl that day. Dr. Brenda and Dr. Mike took Maggie to their kennel next door, Four Paws, and cared for her for the next 3 days while we were at the hospital with our baby girl. They fed her upright 4x a day to make sure she got and kept food down. I cannot say enough about how warm-hearted and caring these vets are. Maggie was further diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that Dr. Brenda is in touch with us daily to try and manage. I will not go to another vet as long as I live in Fort Collins. The review below is from a year ago but I just had to add this story as well...I brought my lab/pitbull mix to pet wellness clinic for a knee surgery based on a blog post on the experience of Dr. Mike Jewell. It is 6 weeks since the surgery and our pup is doing great. Not only is Dr. Mike great, but all of the staff at the clinic are very friendly and down to earth. I love that rehab sessions are included with the cost of the surgery and Mayuko is fantastic at working with our pup. Im excited to finally find a vet in Fort Collins that I can trust!
