Very impressed with this vet! Despite it being a small practice, they were willing to open up a spot for me on short notice when my cat was injured. I didnt have a ton of money available but they were very upfront about the (very fair) costs, with no surprises, and talked over all the options with me without pressuring. The office was quiet and clean, the staff friendly, and they treated my cat with a lot of kindness. Highly recommend Front Range!

In looking for a new vet, I brought my ten-year-old cat to Front Range recently and the receptionists, techs, and doctor were all the most patient, wonderful providers I’ve dealt with!Following our comprehensive health check up - through which my cat was completely at ease with them - we have had a few calls & questions (about results/dentals/etc.) and they have continued to be above-and-beyond thoughtful and patient with us. Already in love with Front Range vet clinic!

Staff seems fine. I brought my cat in for shots and they were great with her. However I wasn’t informed about the shots having to be EXACTLY four weeks apart. Apparently she was already overdue for her shots even though the staff scheduled me for that follow up appointment (otherwise I would have brought her in sooner). They then informed me I would have to start the shots from the beginning and pay for them again. As I was asking questions the woman on the phone was rude and very short with her answers. Not super happy with the experience and will probably switching clinics.

We have been going to this vet for over 3 years, and I for the life of me cant figure out what happened since covid. Took my 2 rescues here to get annual and blood panel since theyre both relatively new to us, and my experience has been atrocious! Told the assistant that we wanted specific brands of heartworm preventative, only to get ignored and another brand shoved in a bag and only handed to us after payment. And on that note, NO RETURNS even though it was in original packaging and not what we wanted. My dog has a small growth, which I specifically wanted to be removed and not aspirated, only to have my concerns ignored and pushed toward the aspiration. Turns out to be what we thought, and their recommendation is to, guess what, REMOVE THE MASS! Before the aspiration, she was already making recommendations to do dental while my dog is getting the mass removed, to my reply was, are her teeth bad? Knowing she hadnt even looked, and that her teeth are great, I had caught this person off guard. Then looking at the website, I cant find the person that called themselves a vet on the page, and the person listed as the vet doesnt match the person we saw. Which makes sense since every other word was either um or uh. Reading through the notes, I find that my other dogs teeth are perfect with only light gingivitis, all while missing that he is missing a k9 tooth! Apparently they have a lot of new staff, and Ill just say that it shows! Id avoid if you care for your pet, as I felt I was only money to them! Sad to say, this isnt even the end of our horrible experience, but Im done with them and this review!

Edited to add that they also sent Oliver and I a welcome card, hand signed by the employees I worked with that day! Talk about a unicorn clinic!110% would recommend!!I had been going to my old vet for several years and continued going there, even after moving almost 40 minutes away. I started having issues with them completing important things, like making sure my meds for my dog were ready on time. With hesitation I did some searching for somewhere closer. I found reviews of Front Range and decided to give them a shot and I am SO happy I did.The techs and receptionist were thorough, polite, and I could tell they enjoyed their jobs. Dr. Albino made me feel comfortable with her exam (not like she did a quick once over) and explained everything to me.I didn’t share this with the staff, but I’m fortunate enough to have worked in the vet field for three years. I understand the lingo and know (mostly) what’s needed and what’s usually pushed to make an extra buck. Never once did Dr. Albino or the staff push unnecessary things, such as two vaccines that weren’t needed, based on my dogs lifestyle. This alone is amazing because I’ve seen others and personally have been put in a position to fall victim to price gouging.I am happy Oliver and I found a new home! Thank you guys!

This vet is awesome! We just moved to Fort Collins and I was worried I wouldn’t like this vet clinic as much as my old one. And I could not be happier, this clinic is even better! Thank you for treating our baby like family. You only met her on her last day, but she felt your love and we are eternally greatful. Our cat was diagnosed with a highly aggressive cancer in her jaw at another vet. We agreed with the vet that it was best to focus on her comfort. When the time came for euthenasia, that office told us they didnt have any availability for another 10 days. She was suffering greatly and it was not kind to make her wait that long. We called FRVC and they were so kind. They told us theyd make room for us whenever we decided it was time. We called the next morning to schedule the appointment and they made room for us the following day. The room we were put in was large and comfortable -a bed with a blanket on the floor with comfortable chairs to sit in, though we chose to sit on the floor around the bed. The vet and tech were so gentle, patient and kind. We were given as much time we needed before, durring and after the euthenasia. We never felt rushed. Because we paid beforehand, we were able to leave through a separate exit at our own pace when we were ready. Our fur baby is gone now, but someday when were ready for another, we will bring them here.

We recently had to say goodbye you our 13 year old dog Guinness. The doctor and vet techs were amazing. So compassionate and understanding. We were in after 5 and we never felt rushed. They offered to let us spend as much time saying goodbye as we needed, and when the time came to let him go, they were gentle, sympathetic, and so respectful. It’s clear that they love animals and animal lovers. They made a paw print in plaster for us and a week later we received a sympathy card. There was a handwritten message from all three of the amazing women who helped us (Dr. Foster, Danica, and Jesica). I cannot say enough good things about this clinic.

I want to start this by saying the employees are REALLY nice. They truly are. But after I brought my dog there he contracted canine influenza. And with current regulations regarding COVID i never saw inside the facility, (you have to curbside drop off/pick up your dog)so i can only assume the cleanliness of it. There is no other place my dog could have contracted this, as i dont even cavort with other humans, let alone animals. My dog has never been so sick and it breaks my heart that he is going through this right now.

Very impressed. Of course they all love animals (what vet doesnt?). I got burned out on vet clinics that kept getting bigger and fancier. For me, costs are more important than aesthetics . Getting into a veterinarian program can be more competitive then human medical programs and I figure, Im here to pay for the smart brain not the fancy lobby. In addition to the two smart brains at Front Range Vet clinic, you get a caring and competent staff and worker-friendly hours with the clinic open until 8 pm some days! After a recent vet visit resulting in a dental cleaning diagnosis for my dog (an expensive affair) they mentioned an upcoming dental trial coming to their office and cautioned me to wait a few weeks before scheduling the cleaning. A couple weeks later I received a phone call from them, was able to enter my dog into the trial and received a free cleaning as a result! What a blessing! While hanging in the lobby Ive watched them work with people of all walks of life. I was especially impressed with how lovingly and patiently they worked with an elderly and hard-of-hearing woman and her beloved elderly dog.Recommend.

There really is not enough good I can say about this place and these people. Through an interesting series of events we ended up adopting a dog that one of the staff had decided needed a second chance after he was surrendered to be euthanized. He had some medical issues that were not life threatening if treated correctly and mostly needed love and a family. The staff bent over backward to help us give one of the sweetest dogs Ive ever known the home and love he needed. Any place that creates a culture of passion rather than just a workplace is doing something right. I wish I knew how to express to Dr. McCarthy and all the staff we interacted with how thankful we are that you helped this dog and us.

About a month and a half ago we brought our 5 1/2 year old rescued (at 9 weeks old) pit-mix in for an odd lump on his paw and a rash to be told the lump was an ingrown hair was given an antibiotic and an antihistamine and sent on our way with very little done in the way of examination and charged nearly $200 after about a month, the meds were gone and no change in his condition we brought him into another clinic for a second opinion. They tested the fluid inside the lump on his paw and found that this was far from and ingrown hair! Last week a pathologist report found that the lump was an already stage 2 cancer! That exam, its testing, and diagnosis came with Bill of only $150. Front range veterinary clinic carelessly misdiagnosed our loved one and wasted time and resources. We dont recommend at all!

This clinic has been nothing but frustrating. Every time I call they always are very unprofessional and not helpful. Their prices are ridiculous for very simple treatments, and their treatment of her first visit resulted in my dog getting another sore. The first time I came in I was greeted by a very rude and unprofessional receptionist and the second time I came in the veterinary assistant was clearly uncomfortable handling my very friendly dog, and made me uncomfortable watching him touch my animal. When I came in to have my dog checked on for how she was coughing, I was told I couldnt be seen because they didnt take walk ins, even though there was one other person there. My husband and I have two babies, Ally and Ella. They are basically our kids, since we have none yet! 😉 Ally is a boxer, and they are prone to cancer, so when a growth showed up on her leg we took her into a vet close to us, they did not seem to be too concerned, but did send us an estimate for almost $3000. We had NO idea what we were going to do! By fate, one of the Vets at front range sat in my chair (I am a hairstylist), and I got to talking with her and she really encouraged me to take her in get it checked out as soon as possible. From the first phone call, through exam, surgery, an infection, and aftercare, this clinic was with us and on our side ALL the way! To find out our girl had cancer was a huge heartbreak, but we felt so comfortable and secure in the treatment plan that the doctors set up, it was the best place to be going through this mess! AND, it was such a much more manageable price!! Seriously, any pets would be lucky to be cared for by the professionals at Front Range Verterinary Clinic!!
