We drove from out of state to get emergency care for our dog. They immediately triaged her and found a way to get her seen quickly. While they werent able to do her surgery, our veterinarian coordinated everything with another clinic and got us set for the next phase of our journey. They were very, very up-front and clear about pricing. More than that, though, we were treated with a huge amount of kindness and compassion, and I felt like the whole staff went out of their way to help and do more than they were required to do. Were so grateful, as it was really a horrible time for us, but I believe Aspen Grove played a huge role in saving our dog, Roxys, life. Thank you guys!
My dog Rupert has been sick for the last few weeks. I called and got in almost right away. My vet (sadly I forgot her name) was so awesome. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and so friendly. Our nurse was awesome too!!!
My dog needed a pretty routine surgery on his eye. My primary vet couldn’t do the surgery for almost a month and I looked everywhere to find someone who could do the surgery sooner. I found Aspen Grove and I was very excited when I saw the estimate. The only good thing about Aspen Grove was the pricing. The women that work the front desk are rude! I brought him in for the pre op check up and the vet scheduled the surgery. Two days later I got a call from them saying they needed to move the surgery. The reasoning? There was a staff meeting that conflicted... I said fine and rescheduled. A few days later I get called again asking to reschedule. The surgery itself went well. Then they had me come in two weeks post op for a check up, not a big deal. The vet said I did not need to come back for a recheck. A few days later the front desk calls asking to schedule an appointment for a recheck. I was confused but scheduled it anyways. Over the next five days, I received 3 different calls asking me to schedule a recheck (the one I had already scheduled). On the third call I cancelled the appointment. I’m never taking my dogs back there. The ladies at the front desk are rude and unprofessional.
I adore all the doctors I’ve seen here: Dr Spooner, Dietrick, and Bignall. Today I saw Dr Ash, she’s new and such an absolute joy. All the doctors are thorough and attentive, they listen. Dr Ash was super fun, and won over my very nervous pupper with patience and ease. Highly highly recommend for vet care!edited to add: Ally is a wonderful vet tech, as well!
Ive been bringing our cat here for years, and our pup since she was born about a year ago. Everyone Ive dealt with in the office has been amazing, and theyve gone above and beyond with our pets. When a problem comes up, they always present and describe options very clearly, and weve always felt like theyve steered us to the best option that fit our situation, rather than the most expensive one. My cat has an issue with peeing in the carrier in the car, and they have even cleaned it out for us while we waited, and stuck a pee pad in there. We had a lot of concerns about puppy related risks/issues, and the vets here have done a fantastic job of clarifying things for us such that we feel confident in the decisions we make.Could not recommend this place more!
I take my dog in there for a check up because I was recommended by a friend. They are doing Covid screening, not a big deal. They tell me it will be about an hour, so I wait. 3 hours later I call them and they tell me that the doctors are in emergency surgery and they will talk to me soon. I understand that. I think a phone call to let me know would have helped. So another hour goes by and I call them and tell them to bring my dog out and the doctor can call me later to explain. On my way home the doctor calls me and says we can do the shots now, so I turn around drive back and get the shots.Except for wasting 5 hours of my day they were fine except they wasted 5 hours of my day. Their customer service is awful.
Don’t take your pet here unless you are ok waiting an extra hour past your appointment time. They way over schedule to squeeze in more $$$. The real experts are around the corner at CSU Vet hospital. Better prices, better service over there. Aspen Grove lost our business.
THIS TEAM IS AMAZING!!!From the front desk to the nurses to the doctors, this office is one of the most professional and caring group of animal lovers I have ever met. This office was recommended to me by my previous vet in Eagle, CO and I am so thankful for that. Since our first visit, this team has been so kind to me and my dog and very understanding of pet owners like myself who love our pets as much as our children.Today I had an appointment to bring my dog in for a regular checkup. What was not scheduled was that my dog (for some reason) was up all night sick with diarrhea. Then, right as we walk into the office, he started vomiting. To top it all off, the office was SLAMMED... and I mean super busy. It was just one of those days where nothing was going right for anyone.Despite everything, the entire staff maintained a cheery attitude, took extra time with my dog and ran extra tests to find out what was causing him to be so sick and were very kind and responsive in their communication with me. I felt bad for taking up a room for so long, especially in this time of reduced capacities as a result of Covid, but they assured me that it was no big deal and that my dogs health was/is important to them. They always follow up, they always help with paperwork for our insurance company and I cant stress enough that they are always kind and understanding. As a final note, their prices are very fair, especially when you consider the high level of service they provide.Thank you Aspen Grove Veterinary Care! I will recommend you to anyone and everyone!
I had been struggling to find a vet that is affordable, yet serious and professional for months now. I can be picky about what I want out of an experience for my cats when I go to the vet, and I loved the most recent visit my cats had.I had to board some of my cats for an day not too long ago to get some work done in the apartment, and I did not want them to stress while at home with the noise. They were behind on vaccinations, but Aspen Grove was willing to get them caught up and let them stay at their boarding facility. The cats came back just fine, and I was so happy with the flexibility of the team and facility to take them in and give them an appointment so quickly with such short notice! My other cats just went in to get a quick wellness check and vaccinations and I was so happy with the building and the staff. While social distancing and wearing proper face coverings, I could go in for these exams. The cat and dog entrances are separated so reduce stress for the animals, and the staff was attentive and quick to help me. The nurse and doctor were kind and gentle with my cats who were quite spooked by people walking by, and never rushed them. They even got to try some baby food to help distract them from the poke! I already knew what my cats needed to get when I walked in, and I was happy and pleased that none of the staff tried to push more suggestions or procedures onto me than what I had expected. The paperwork I received also had a suggested re-exam date in a year to get their booster shots.Im also so thankful that in a time of social distancing, I could be with my cats during this and help relax them more. Im glad that I have found a place that offers urgent care, dental, boarding, and general exams all in one place for my cats. Thank you Aspen Grove team for continuing to support animal well-being and their humans, all at a price that doesnt break the bank with amazing and attentive service! Im so glad to be a client, and Im looking forward to more vet visits and stays with you in the future knowing my cats will get the most out of their lives thanks to you all :)
Amazing staff! I had a horrible experience with CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital this morning when they tried to scare me into paying nearly $1500 to treat my Guinea Pig (and the vet didnt even look at him) and told me to get him euthanized. I decided to bring my Guinea Pig here instead for a second opinion and the vet was incredible. She was quick, had excellent communication with us, and found the problem in no time. She gave us some medicine for a simple case of gas in the abdomen and even spotted a few other small things that we had not noticed. The whole thing only cost $260 and I felt much more comfortable with the situation. I will definitely come back to them if Im in a pinch!
A couple months ago we had to help our dear faithful doggie friend, Arissa, over the rainbow bridge. One of my biggest concerns was her fear of going to the vet. I didnt want her last moments to be full of anxiety. However, she LOVED riding in the car. After talking to Jaime we decided it was best to let her stay in the car. (COVID ended up helping make that decision, also). I was absolutely amazed at the care and compassion of the entire staff at Aspen Grove Vet Care. From the front desk, to the nurses, to Dr. Michael we were treated gently and given as much time as we needed to say goodbye. It was beautiful and peaceful. As difficult as the decision was, the crew at Aspen Grove made us feel as though we were their one-and-only client. I cant recommend Aspen Grove Veterinary Care enough.
I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Aspen Grove, especially Dr. Michael. It took me a while to find an exotic vet in town for my guinea pig, but Dr. Michael truly is the best.
Aspen Grove Veterinary Care has been a wonderful place for our puppy! We use the puppy plan, kennel service at their new cabins & their doggie day care once in a while. Remi is always happy to visit her friends at Aspen Grove. They are also a community focused business that is making a difference with their Realities For Children Business Membership. THANK YOU.
While I actually chose a different vet, this clinic was high up on my list, and if I ever need to switch, Id definitely try here! The receptionist was super nice on the phone and seemed to be genuinely interested in my dog. I greatly appreciated the care and am convinced theyd have that same care in person too!
AMAZING VETERINARIAN! I first found Aspen Grove about a year ago when my cat was diagnosed with a rare disease chylothorax. I went to a few places prior to this when he was first diagnosed and completely lost all hope because the doctors weren’t familiar with the disease and basically told me my cat would need to be put down without exploring any possible options. Being an emotional mess I searched for better care and stumbled upon Aspen Grove. They have EXCEEDED my expectations and Dr. Sarah Deitrick immediately put my mind at ease. My cat is doing amazing under her care, and her and the entire team are absolutely wonderful. They always follow up after his visits to see how he’s doing, quickly answer any questions I have and put my worried mind at ease! They even sent me a personalized report card for him after a standard exam which I loved. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have found this veterinarian and if you are still searching for the best care, Aspen Grove is your place!
Super disappointed in the care my pet received. Lab work run was a waste of money as it did not give any results- even CSU could not interpret their results. Was told my 11 week old puppy may have a tumor in her bladder or bladder stones after testing gave no indication. Took my puppy to CSU and they ran a urinalysis that found a UTI within minutes. My poor puppy was dealing with this for 3 weeks and the vet was told of her symptoms since the beginning. I did meet some friendly staff at the clinic but it did not out weight the care we received. Would not recommend. :(
I took my dog to daycare/ vet check ups at Aspen Grove for over 3 years. The staff is amazing and always provided me with an overview of her busy days and new best friends. Very reasonable pricing. Would highly recommend!
Needed my pups records asap so we could get her nails trimmed. Jordan sent them over to me within about five minutes. Thanks Jordan!!
Dr. Bobby & the entire staff at Aspen Grove are part of our families A-Team of Health Care Professionals. The professionalism, kindness & love taken with our fury family members (past & present) is invaluable & a source of comfort. We thank them for being there for all of us,the Blue Family
Throughout the last week, I started going to Aspen Grove because my dragon had stuck eggs. My experience has been very positive and Dr Michael was amazing. He was honest with me about my husbandry while still being kind and compassionate. And he was patient with me while I asked every question under the sun. I feel good about recommending this place.
I took my pet to Aspen Grove Veterinary Care for over a year, but ended up changing vets due to their unprofessionalism and lacking customer service. My main issue was with their front desk staff. They were often very rude to me and almost never seemed to know what was going on. I called a few months ago for an emergency and an employee named Juan answered the phone and provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a vets office. After extensively explaining everything that was going on with my pet, Juan literally said to me so what do you want me to do about it? Oh I dont know, maybe show some compassion and offer to book me a appointment considering I told you that I thought my pet was very ill? I shouldnt have to tell you how to do your job, especially when you work in an establishment that frequently gets high stress emergency calls. I dreaded having to call their office for anything because I felt that I was almost always met with hostility or total indifference from their staff. The doctors were friendly and attentive for the most part, but that isnt reason enough for me to stay considering how little you actually interact with them compared to the vet techs and front desk staff. We have just started going to a different vet here in FoCo, and its already such an improvement in every aspect. I actually enjoy taking my pet to the vet now.
First off,I have 2 dogs, both pibulls. One had a abscess on his left paw,I was quoted almost 1300 for the removal, and that was just the first surgery, did not include anything after that. I ended up shopping around and ended up going back to my old provider because they quoted me under 900$. My other dog had some liver issues from something he got into, so I brought him to aspen grove to do a liver panel and they charged me 55 dollars, which was fine, now Im getting calls saying I still owe 30$ and that they are sending it to collections, for something that was never even spoke about or brought up. Not a good way to do business and will take my animals elsewhere from now on.
Dr. Bobby has always been extremely knowledgeable and thorough when dealing with our dogs. We would definitely recommend the clinic for your pets’ needs.
Dr. Michael’s saved my dog! Nala was on her death bed. Dr. Michael’s immediately took action with prescribing her antibiotics. I felt so bad that i was being selfish and couldnt let her go. Nala is almost 11.. Dr. Micheals said, Were going to do this and give her a chance.. and it honestly worked!! Nala is back to herself now, after being on meds for 4 days.. I cant thank the staff and Aspen Grove enough!!! Dr. Michael’s you saved a huge member of our family! From Nala, “wuff wuff” Thank you!!!
Love Aspen Grove! Dr Michael is awesome and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. My pets always seem to get hurt or sick after 3pm and their evening appointments make it alot easier to get them in when things happen. Thanks Aspen Grove!!
I would not bring an exotic here. I got a rescue ball python that prolapsed and the sutures were put in wrong and she re prolapsed 2 days later. I was also given an antibiotic rarely used on reptiles.
I recently adopted a cat who had a few medical problems. I wanted to get him looked at right away. Aspen Grove was able to give me an appointment very quickly. Then I needed to bring him back the following week for something else. Dr. Donnelly and Dr. Cawthron were both very helpful and informative and put my mind at ease about the medical issues and how to treat him. The rest of the staff are friendly as well. I highly recommend this vet.
Our visit was quick and the tech was helpful and pleasant!Always a good experience. The entire staff is caring and compassionate!
I moved to Ft Collins almost 7 years ago. I had tried 2 other vets but have found that the way my animals and I are treated here are with compassion and caring
Aspen Grove staff are amazing, the facilities are clean and new and they are up to date on technology. The staff even remembers my former dog, and really go above and beyond on each visit. I am always able to get appointments in a reasonable time, and in the case of urgent visits they are very accomodating. Attached pictures are from when Aspen Grove was nice enough to remove cheatgrass from of a paw on 4th of July weekend.
Aspen Grove has been taking care of our dogs for 6 years, and have always been kind, professional, and outstanding care givers. I recommend them to all my friends.
My first experience with Aspen Grove was awesome! My mother brings her two chihuahuas to this clinic so I had been there before but not as an adult. I brought in one of our guinea pigs, Benny, to get checked for an inner ear infection because we noticed he had a head tilt. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The doctor was quick and efficient and explained everything to me in full detail and seemed really down to earth. Turns out the poor guy has an inner ear infection so he is now on antibiotics! Our doctor set realistic expectations regarding his treatment and the price for everything was very reasonable! Also the lobby smells SO GOOD. but what really made it an outstanding experience and prompted this review was what happened after. They sent us a welcome card that was hand written and hand signed by everyone in the practice with some coupons included! I have never received a hand written welcome card from a business EVER and it was such a personal touch that put a smile on my face! I have three (soon to be five) guinea pigs, a chinchilla, and a dog that will now all be coming to Aspen Grove!
They have a wonderful and affordable urgent care option and theyve been great to my pets in the few years Ive been going. They work with my budget and give me honest expert opinion on whether or not a procedure is necessary without judgment and theyre very kind to my animals. I also love that Dr. Julia is comfortable and confident with pocket pets. Dr. Bobby and Dr. Julia have great bedside manner and always answer my questions and provide fear free visits.
We had a wonderful experience today with Dr. Cawthorn. He gave us his honest opinion on an issue. He was friendly and kind and also called us back to notify us what at home treatments would work. He went out of his way to call manufactures directly to find out if the products had iodine, since our cat is avoiding it. Excellent experience and affordable pricing for veterinary services .
I was very disappointed with my experience with Aspen Grove. My girls stayed 3 nights. A week later, Belle came down with Kennel Cough. First of all, Aspen Grove told me it was ok for them to be vaccinated against kennel cough upon their arrival. I was later informed, by my primary vet, that a dog is not fully protected unless vaccinated at least 48 hours prior to any exposure to other dogs. After informing Aspen Grove that my dogs were sick, they denied any liability. They said they had not had any cases of kennel cough. They did not offer any help and suggested several ways my dog could have alternatively contracted kennel cough.I called them a second time to let them know that Roxie had also come down with kennel cough and again they denied and responsibility and offered no help at all.I am deeply upset with the lack of compassion and empathy towards an animal getting sick due to exposure to other animals during their stay at this facility. They simply dont care. I will not be doing business here ever again.
Aspen Grove is our new home! The facility is friendly and stunningly clean and crisp. The staff was patient and kind, treating our sick dog as if he were their number one priority. Dr. Bobby and both techs we worked with were communicative and clear, answering all of my questions and calling the next day to see how our dog was doing. Jamie and Kyle were also wonderful, generous manner, calm demeanor, putting me and my pup at total ease. Thank you all so much
My puppy got caught in the eye by my cat, so I brought him into see what would need to be done. Dr. Dietrick was great to Frankie (my puppy) and was reassuring to me. Very reasonably priced (considering an eye injury). I would highly recommend them!
Love the staff at Aspen Grove! They take great care of our doggies and are so helpful when we have questions. They make us feel welcome and stress free during visits and are very reasonably priced for the great service they provide! We have had ongoing nose problems with one of our pups and Dr. Julia has gone above and beyond to help us. She is wonderful to work with! So glad we found them :)
Brought my guinea pig in for a check up and nail trim. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gentle when handling her. They seem to genuinely care about her well being and stress level. The only downside was the nail trim was a bit more expensive then Ive experienced at other clinics but the amount of care they had for her comfort during her visit was worth it.
These folks are great. They make you feel like your pet is the only one they are seeing that day. They care for your pet, your family member, as if they were their own. As an added bonus you get lots of compliments on how cute your little guy/girl is :)
Very reasonably priced, a rare thing for a vet visit. The vets themselves are obvious animal lovers who havent lost the passion for improving the lives of their patients. I would absolutely recommend.
Great team... from the receptionist, the techs and the vets.We have met with both Dr. Bobby (as he is called) and Dr. Julia. They both have great empathy and sincere caring for our dog, Daisy. We have Daisy regularly seen there and have been lucky enough to have her boarded there when we were out of town as well. Thanks for all you do.
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this clinic. They are always kind, professional and take the best care of our animals. Dr. Bobby is the best! Reasonable fees for the service provided. Great hours to make sure they have time for everyone. You will not be disappointed.
Dr. Bobby and staff are incredible. I have tremendous confidence in knowing our new puppy will get the best care possible. I always tell people I know and anyone who asks for hat Aspen Grove is where their pets will receive excellent services. Everyone in the office is on the same page and mindset ensuring a comfortable and caring visit.
Aspen Grove is an exceptional animal hospital! My dogs have been seeing Dr. Bobby for 10ish years and he is awesome! He always comes into the exam room with a warm smile. He thoroughly explains everything and is very caring! I have also seen Dr. Julia and Dr. Liz and they are also excellent and caring. Every time my dog has an appointment the doctor or staff contacts me the next day to see how he is doing! All the nurses are excellent and have helped me immeasurably with my diabetic dog. I don’t use the day care but the kennel girls are so nice and helpful when I’m there. The front desk is always welcoming and efficient. I have found my veterinary hospital for life!
It is such a pleasure to bring your loved one to a place where you feel super confident about leaving him. They are all awesome! From the front desk to the vet tech to the vet. Theyve got an amazing group of people. The prices are more than reasonable. They called on 3 different occasions to let me know how our dog was doing while undergoing surgery and to ask about other procedures before stacking on more costs. It was the best vet experience weve ever had! It was our first visit and we will continue to use them.
Thank you so much for your great and personable service Dr Cawthron! I really appreciate how well you treated my best buddy!
First time pet owner; was a little nervous to leave my kitty alone but they treated her so well! She went in happy, left happy. We got her spayed, the doctor explained everything thoroughly, she healed quickly, and they even gave us a free bag of treats for making us wait a little past our appointment time. Will definitely be back!
I love you all. Both of my dogs love you all. Your so patient with them and very caring and thorough. I will never take my dogs elsewhere. You saved Booms leg after severe infection and months of treatment. You tried it all and succeeded in saving his leg. Dr.Bobby is awesome and never tries to drain my pocket book.
We love Aspen Grove!! We have always been greeted with a friendly face and professional manner. The staff is quick, efficient and caring. Unfortunately, we have had to bring our dog in for an emergency medical visit and they allowed us to come last minute and gave us excellent care! We also had to put that same dog down with an unexpected heart tumor. The vet gave us many options and helped ease the pain. We appreciate having awesome vets to trust with our dear pets. Thank you! :)
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We have used Aspen Grove for several years and every time they get worse. I had my childhood dog die in their building and there was no sympathy and no trying harder. They let her die and refused to do anything else because of her age. The main veterinarian (the absolute worst) actually insisted that my family would choose to put my dog down before he even thought of surgery. There is terrible negative vibes from everyone who works here. They are always jumping to the worst an treat you like you abuse all of your pets.Today my dog went for his eye and treated my family like we are bad people and wanted to keep our dog longer and the last thing the assistant nurse vet person said that he will lose his eye. Never go here. Its a terrible experience every time. Just really bad people.Response to owner: I was there through everything you described so I didnt need to hear it again. I know you talked to my mom and she thought you guys were rude. I work in customer service and if I EVER treated one of my customers the way you have treated our family, I would be fired. I dont need your excuses (which is all you have done on every response to your reviews). Frankly, if someone complained and said that things I said about your customer service to me, I would apologize and ask how I could be better but all you guys want to do is make excuses and explain why your wrong. I absolutely do NOT want to hear your poor excuses for being the way you were. I just wanted an apology. Customers deserve an apology when a company makes an error. The fact that you asked us not to come back makes the situation worse. When we mentioned this to our current vet, they were appalled that you asked us not to come back. Next time call me. Not my mother.
I have brought my dog Commie to be treated and to be kenneled for years along with my folks dogs Tigger and Pooh. Dr. Bobby and the staff have been incredible resources. When the girls stay, Pooh comes back almost voiceless from barking because she had so much fun. Commie backward sneezes from stress, but the staff has helped find solutions to calm him. Thank you Aspen Grove!
I brought my dog here today for the first time. We scheduled an appointment to get her nails clipped. I explained prior to the appointment that my dog is nervous with getting her nails clipped and it might take extra hands when dealing with her. I explained we had taken her once before to a vet in Texas and they got it done efficiently with four people and a muzzle (even though she doesn’t bite it was for safety precaution) And it was only $13 dollars.SO, today I brought her in of course nervous for her and when the nurse came out my dog raja already started acting very scared and was not wanting to even go inside the office. THAT should have been a clue right then it wouldn’t work with them. There was no first initial greeting to make my dog feel comfortable with the nurse. It was very rushed and the nurse immediately dragged my dog into the office while I had to wait outside. Raja came out 15 minutes later panicking!!! So scared and ran into our car. The nurse let us know that it didn’t go well and they couldn’t finish the job and only got a couple nails. I understood and said it was okay and thanks for trying. The nurse then told me raja was very difficult and even peed all over and was really hard to tame. My dog has never been THAT nervous that she peed herself. She was traumatized. The nurse then told me it won’t get done fully unless they put her down on some sort of medication. I understood and drove off. NOW, for not getting the job done I would expect to get half the price of payment for trying but I got UPCHARGED for my dog causing a mess with the pee and having to use more nurses to hold her down....How does that make any sense? This place traumatized my dog and they didn’t even get the job done and then over charged me for the trouble. I really didn’t want to pay at all because of the state my dog was in and especially her nails being partially clipped to where it probably is more painful now for her nails. Now I can’t go to a vet again because my dog won’t be able to after this experience. My dog got it done before and it was fine, yes she was nervous but the staff and environment made her comfortable enough they could do the job.So my question is why couldn’t this place do their job?And if they couldn’t they could have told me they can’t perform this and not charge me at all!
Not recommended for boarding. Our dog lost a tremendous amount of weight when we boarded him here. We had called in from out of the country to check on him too, and they never mentioned anything wrong. When we picked him up it was shocking. They might as well have said, heres your bag of bones, he was so skinny. Im interested to hear the spin their marketing admin will put on this comment...there is no excuse for it.
I had the pleasure of meeting the docs and staff at Aspen Grove for the first time this week for a well-kitty check up, and for a drop-in visit for an unexpected emergency with my sons dog, who was visiting us. Our pets were treated well, and made to feel as comfortable as possible. The staff and docs were professional, patient, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Bobby and Dr. Julia explained the results of our pets lab reports in detail, made sure we knew what was going on, offered suggestions, and followed up with phone calls and emails. I am happy we found Aspen Grove!
If I could give 0 stars I would. The Dr. recommended a surgical procedure for our new puppy that he didnt need. Luckily, we were smart enough to get a second opinion, however they had already billed us several hundred dollars worth of exam fees, meds and surgical prep. The Dr was not willing to communicate with our insurance. Worst experience ever and we will not be recommending this place to anyone.
I have been taking my dog to Aspen Grove for 6.5 years and I have always had positive experiences. The staff is always welcoming and willing to take the time to answer any questions I have. I appreciate the email reminders when vaccines need to be updated. And making appointments has always been quick and easy. Thank you for always providing such excellent service.
I have been going here for almost 3 years. Aspen grove is the best! There entire staff from the docs to the technicians, the front desk and the daycare and boarding girls. Ive left my dog with them for a week while on vacation and they call you tell let you know how your dogs doing, and when it comes to picking up your dog they give you pictures of what your pup was up to. Very good prices. The veternarians are excellent and love all animals. Highly recommended! !
When I moved to FoCo in March of 2015 I did my research before deciding on a vet for my cat and dog fur babies. I chose Aspen Grove because of their reviews and personal references- I have no regrets. The staff is amazing! They have been helpful and understanding when I request only low cost options (Im in grad school). They asked for all my animals past records as well as called the clinic where my dog received surgery to get more information. Its obvious that they truly care about my pets health. I also love the portal where you can see when your animals have received vaccinations and when they need checkups. I definitely recommend Aspen Grove!
Highly recommend. Aspen Grove is one of the best vets in Fort Collins. The clinic is clean and comfortable for both people and animals and they really excel in keeping animals calm and happy. They truly care for each and every pet that comes through their doors. I always want to be a client at Aspen Grove!
My canine companion, Gonzo, is very comfortable with the staff. My previous companion, Odie, received excellent care from the staff. This gives me assurance and confidence with all of my animal needs.
I won’t be going here anymore. They refused to give me my dog before any payment. My dog just had surgery and they wouldn’t allow me to see him to see what to watch for swelling. I will tell anyone to avoid this place
We love Dr Bobby and his staff. He is a great vet and they do a great job when we board our dogs there. We have a big dog and I trust them completely. The prices for the vet services are little steep or they would get five stars.
It is so great that they keep track of what my dog needs, so I dont have to! Also they get me right in and make my dog happy she is there: ))
As someone who wants the best for my cat, I have found that Aspen Grove goes above and beyond to ensure she gets outstanding care. Everyone there is friendly and they all take the time to educate me on health matters as they pertain to my kitty. Love these guys!
Best vet ever! This practice is ran by doctor Bobby Cawthron and his wife Jamie along with the most fantastic staff in veterinary history. There is always appointments available and ample parking. Aspen Grove is a wonderful small business with several vets that have many specialties and tailor made care your all of your critters! From surgery to senior care they have it all! Aspen Grove even has boarding and day care at awesome prices. Theyll even take pictures of your loved one while they visit! If you want a vet that has it all go to Aspen Grove now!
My first visit to Aspen Grove was very positive. I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff and technicians who gave my golden retriever puppy all sorts of loving attention. Dr. Cawthron spent time with Harley and was very helpful answering questions I had.
Everyone was very friendly and made our dog Sam feel at ease. I love the seperate entrance for dogs and cats! It shows that they have put a lot of thought into putting their patients needs first!
Dr. Bobby is amazing and so is his staff! The extended office hours are super convenient and their prices are extremely fair. On the occasions when I have called the Dr. after office hours, he has always been quick to respond - thoroughly explaining options, risks and treatments. I always feel well-served and I highly recommend Aspen Grove to anyone who seeks the utmost in service and veterinary care.
I honestly had a great experience here! I was a bit hesitant since I was taking my kitten, Sanders, here for a surgery but it was my first time here. I was referred to them from another vet and I understand why. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were efficient with the paperwork and making sure I understood the procedure. They also put me at ease by calling once the surgery was done to let me know Sanders did well and was recovering fine. I didnt have to wait all day anxiously. The Dr. himself called with the update which I really appreciated since he performed the actual surgery. When I went the next day to pickup Sanders, they were again friendly and prompt. They even made some comments about Sanders, that he was a cutie and ready to go home etc. It made it seem like they actually took the time to check in on him while he was there etc. which again, I appreciated since he was there overnight. The Dr. explained his recovery, how he was doing and the after care instructions. He was kind and answered all my questions. The Dr. even pointed out a small bump they found on Sanders neck while he was doing the pre-surgical exam and told me to watch it. The bump has since gone away but I appreciated that he pointed it out to me so I was aware to keep an eye on Sanders. It also showed that the vet did a thorough examination. Sanders surgery went well, no complications and he is back to being an active kitty. The Dr. and staff even continued to check in on Sanders several times after he was home to be sure he was still doing well. I highly recommend Aspen Grove!
A big thank you to Dr. Donnelly and the amazing AG team for not only getting our dog in quickly but for giving her a gentle, thorough exam! Your kindness and expertise were greatly appreciated. Its wonderful to know that shes in good hands with you all! Thanks again!
Your team was awesome- my cat had been missing for 2 months and I had moved out of state, so my friend brought him in. The vet talked to me over the phone during his appt and allayed all my fears and took great care of him. I can’t wait to see him again in a few days when he makes it to Michigan! Thank you for accommodating him so quickly to make sure he was well after his kitty sabbatical!
We are always well taken care of when we arrive for our visits. They do a great job making sure our sensitive hyper dog has what she needs. Everyone is kind and helpful. Thank you for being a vet that cares and makes our return positive.
Fantastic service. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They treated my dog as if he were their own pet. I couldnt ask for better service. The bill was also very reasonable. We will definitely return.
I started taking my 14 year old dog here when he blew out his back knee and my vet at the time wanted to do a very complicated and expensive surgery that had a long recovery period. I got a second opinion from Dr. Bobby, who repaired Dodgers knee, and that surgery sustained him until we had to put him down at 17 (for reasons unrelated to the knee). I now take my new dog here, and theyve always done a great job with getting us in, as well as refilling his prescriptions quickly. Ive seen some 1 star reviews on here, but Ive worked at a vet clinic before and like any industry, you cant make everyone happy 100% of the time. With that being said, I would definitely recommend Aspen Grove to anyone with pets, as Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences and know they really care about my fur babies just as much as I do.
This is an excellent veterinary hospital. Dr. Cawthron showed true compassion and helped us through a difficult time. The hospital is clean and well run. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Thank you Aspen Grove.
It was a Friday evening when our 10 year old golden retriever, Buddy, gave us quite a scare. He had, what we now suspect was a seizure, and I looked up places open nearby who could see him immediately. I am so glad I came across Aspen Grove and went with my gut to go there. They took him in and began the process of figuring out what was going on. From the front desk to Dr. Julia, everyone was great. They calmed our fears and listened to our concerns. While I hope to not return under these circumstances, we have found where we want to take Buddy for veterinary care from here on out.
I will be taking all of our pets, from now on, to Aspen Grove! Our oldest cat Grimm hadnt been able to do his business and due to my loving girlfriends attentiveness we caught it early. So for a very inexpensive rate we got him examined. Our veterinarian (Julia Donnelly, DVM), explained the causes and our options so very well, in addition to understanding our tight budget. Julia, along with the efforts of the entire staff, have given my girlfriend and I warm, friendly, and all around excellent service; allowing us to take our baby boy home just a day later. No vet visit is enjoyable when you have a loved one that youre worried about, but Aspen Grove makes you feel like their family and genuinely concerned about your pet. I cannot honestly relay how much help they were by helping me bring my little man home, healthy and happy.P.S If anyone at the clinic is reading this: THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Aspen Grove is a Life saver! They worked with me last minute and long distance. My daughter had been in temporary living and finally got news that her application for a new place had been approved. She needed to immediately update vaccinations and licenses for her 2 cats. Can not say enough about how awesome there were to us. Highly recommend them for their skill, professionalism and kindness. They made a very stressful situation a little bit easier.
Dr. Bobby is an amazing caregiver - thorough, focused and friendly. His Texas accent just makes it seem down home and friendly - yet hes a consummate professional and his entire staff is at that same top notch level. In a town of vets, this is the place to take your pets - for life!
Aspen Grove Veterinary Care is the best place to take your pets. Thanks to Dr. Cawthron and the staff, my dog Dorian is a very happy 11 year-old, and my cat Felipe is enjoying life in spite of the fact that his kidneys never fully developed. They are respectful, caring, wonderful with the animals and extremely focused in what is best for my pets. Thank you all, I am missing you terribly.
I have taken 2 different dogs to doggie daycare at Aspen and I dont think Id ever go anywhere else. They are kind, welcoming and will even let you talk to a kennel tech if you want to call to check in during the day. They are respectful of the customers and great to the animals.
Dr. Bobby is thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. We feel fortunate to have found Aspen Grove.
Great place to take your pets!!! Everyone there is super nice and very helpful. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.
Very passionate staff! Go above and beyond to help our beloved pets! Thank you!
Everyone at Aspen Grove is amazing. When my dog went in to have teeth cleaned and a possible tooth pulled, the vet called me in the middle of the surgery to update me on everything and let me know that they strongly suggested the tooth be pulled. The personal contact was wonderful. Additionally, friends recently adopted a young puppy which ended up being sick. He ended up at the Vet quite a bit. To everyones dismay, the puppy lost his battle. A week later, a card was received in the mail from Aspen Grove. With more than 10 personal, hand-written messages from the staff at Aspen Grove, the card was a special touch letting everyone know how much they cared and how special the little pup was. The personal care of Aspen Grown is amazing.
Our cat, Alex, needed to have some teeth pulled, at age nine. Dr. Lisa Simmons and the whole staff at Aspen Grove were sweet, friendly, and professional. They obviously liked him and wanted to help him out. They did a great job, and I would definitely recommend them to friends.
We have been clients of Dr. Bobby for several years now. He has put an old friend to sleep, preformed an ACL repair, and welcomed new pups. He is a very fine vet, lots of common sense and straightforward advice, with a tremendous staff. I have recommended him to several other pet owners and will continue to take all our animals to him.
I went to Aspen Grove for a second opinion, and was amazed by Dr. Bobbys knowledge and his great recommendations for our dog. He was open and honest with me about my dogs condition and wanting to get a second opinion. I was very impressed, and would recommend Aspen Grove to friends, family, and complete strangers.
We love Aspen Grove for all of our pets. We have 5 dogs and 1 cat and have been using Aspen Grove for over 10 years and recommend it often.
The Dr. was great, the staff, not so much... borderline incompetent.DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM ASPEN GROVE! I was on a 3 week ordering cycle, and they just stopped ordering food out of the blue. I requested re-orders twice! and they let me down both times. So if your pet has dietary restrictions and you need prescription food, order from somewhere RELIABLE, as Aspen Grove has let me down several times in the past (prior to this mishap). This was the last straw. On top of all of this, when i expressed my frustration (yes i was flustered, but cordial) that I was not informed they stopped ordering my food and that I was in fact waiting for it, the front desk lady laughed at me... such great customer service (JOKE). They will no longer be receiving my money or patronage. Good riddance.RESPONSE TO OWNER: then you should have made that apparent. I was on an ordering cycle, and had been doing so for months before your staff left me hanging. So your response is just a piss poor excuse.
I have been going to this vet since i got my dog 2 1/2 years ago. Although i initially very much enjoyed this vet I would say that the last 6 months maybe longer has vastly changed my opinion of this establishment. I have had payments not recorded on my account, where if i had not had my receipt there would have most likely been nothing that i could do. I have had extra charges. And most importantly i have been unable to have thorough explanations on medication, what the best route is, or their intent on serious medical issues for my dog. One last thing that i just remembered as well was that my dog received kennel cough from drinking water while we waited in a room. I have always enjoyed the staff here however there are some serious areas where this establishment is lacking, that i feel are pointed out in my post.
Aspen Grove is the best! The staff always treats our dogs like they are one of their own and are super friendly!! Thank you!
The vet tech who was the person that spent the most time with us was great, very nice and answered our questions. However, they took our dog in the back and said the vet (Dr. Simmons) would conduct her exam back there. We did not actually see the vet touch our dog nor see them give her any of the vaccines. This was the first time they ever did that - in the past the Dr. conducted their exam in the room with us. Dr. Simmons was cordial enough, but somewhat short and unfriendly. Just recommended a $500.00 dental cleaning. Wont be going back.
Ive been multiple times with my German Shepherd puppy, always a great experience.
The staff at Aspen Grove Veterinary Care are amazing. They are always great about explaining things and treating all of us... fur-babies and humans with respect and the utmost care.
Incredible care for regular check ups as well as emergent situations--my kitty and I love going here!!
Have always been very helpful and professional. I couldnt ask for a better vet. -Advanced Paint Pros
Took my dog Sparky in for the first time for Doggy Daycare, Staff was very welcoming, very professional, and they have special employees that coordinated and run the daycare, I got a great tour, and felt very comfortable leaving my pooch there. I highly recommend Aspen Grove for all pet needs, especially for pain management.
I felt so comfortable leaving my guinea pig in their care here. Very friendly and caring people.
