I recently hired ServPro Fort Collins to clean a home we were moving into. The home was not incredibly dirty. I figured with the pandemic, an infant soon to be crawling and high risk parents, we would spend the money to thoroughly clean the house top to bottom. This included cleaning floors, walls and ceilings, and duct work. I specified the timeline that I needed this accomplished as my parents were having their items moved in from a cross country mover. Getting the costing scheduled was unnecessarily difficult. The cost estimate was vague and measured the height of walls, suggesting that comprehensively cleaning walls was part of the quote as well. I specifically walked through cleaning lights, chandeliers and ceiling fans too with the estimator. I had to specify the importance of our time-compressed schedule 6-8 times before we could actually get something definitively scheduled. Once the work was performed, many hardwood sections of the house looked untouched once we started moving in the day after ServePro’s work day. The carpet on a stairway looked worse off that when they started, and muddy shoe prints were evident on some wood. They busted a door handle and scratched the same door badly. Many vents had scratches on the surrounding paint on a newly painted house from their duct cleaning. The only reason I would even consider giving them one star is they fixed and repainted the door and came back to clean the carpeted stairway. Well, that and I cannot actually give zero stars on this platform! When some of the same crew came back to reinstall the door and re-clean the stairs, they tried to claim that the stairwell was a high-traffic area and they hit it three times before. There was visible lint on the surface of the carpet after the initial days work, so it was a total line. Their return visit made the stairs look clean with one pass, and I was sure to watch them this time! I hate doing that and expect work to be done right the first time. I would stay away from this business!

I cannot say enough good things about the team from SERVPRO that came in like a bunch of superheroes and saved the day and kept the damage from my flooded basement to a minimum. I received a call from my plumber, that was at my home to fix an outdoor issue, and he needed to get into my, freshly renovated, basement to check something in the utility room. 5 minutes later, I get the call that my basement was under water. I called SERVPRO right away and in they came an hour later. From start to finish a week later they were understanding, professional and really kept what could have been a devastating, expensive, issue to as much of a minimum as possible. After a lot of research my wife called several companies to look at a mold problem in our basement. Out of the three we consulted with, we felt the most comfortable with Servpro so we hired them. The remediation was completed in a timely fashion without any issues. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

Refused the work.I had a few square yards of water damaged drywall and an overflowing drain problem; nothing special, difficult or abnormal. I called. We discussed exactly the state of the things and what needed done. They scheduled and sent someone out. After poking around and taking pictures, they declared I had water damaged drywall and suggested I hire a contractor.The drain problem? Not a word about that.Wasted everyones time. Worthless.

I heard noises in the attic. I figured a family of raccoons settled in, but I was wrong. WE HAD BATS IN THE ATTIC! I smelled something bad in the house all week, so this finally explained it. The bats left their guano as “presents” all over. My neighbor told me about histoplasmosis, which is a lung infection you can catch by inhaling fungus spores after exposure to bat guano. Of course I freaked out and had the bats evacuated and attic secured, then called SERVPRO. They told me they can handle the cleanup and decontaminate the affected area. They wore protective gear and took care of the mess quickly. I couldn’t believe how fresh and clean it was up there once they were finished. THANK YOU ENTIRE CREW AT SERVPRO! I can finally sleep in my house again without noises or funky smells!

We had a big water leak and they fixed the damage and took steps to prevent mold expertly. They have a ton of knowledge. I recommend them if you need water or mold damage repairs.

We had a mold problem last year on a house we owned and planned to sell, so we hired another restoration company to work on the house. Months later, they were still not finished and we felt like they were dragging their feet while the house was left ripped apart. They told us it would be another few months before they could wrap things up on our project because they were in high demand and had other customers on their wait list. We finally had enough! My husband fired them and we looked for another company to come in and finish the mess they left behind. We called Servpro and they came in and started working right away. They said it should take about 2 weeks to finish the project completely, but we heard similar promises before so we were skeptical but sure enough, they finished the job right and on time. We were really impressed with their hard work and professionalism. I never felt like I had to chase them around or play phone tag to reach them when we had questions. It was so nice to have the house back to normal again so we could enjoy it for a few months before it sold. I wouldnt hesitate to call them again if we ever need anything else done in the future.

Servpro straightened our house back up after a fire left too much damage to handle on our own. I work full time so my wife hired them to handle the repairs and they knocked it out quick. We’re satisfied with the work performed.

We had the misfortune of discovering a flood in the basement from the water heater just as we were having dessert on Thanksgiving day. While we were able to manage the situation in the equipment room the water had moved under the walls into the living area. We were over our head but the Servpro guys aborted their family gathering, were here promptly and had the situation in hand in hours. Cant say enough good thing about this team.

This is one of those things you don’t know exist until you need them. I came home from work to find everything submerged in water after the water heater broke and flooded the basement. My parents went through a similar situation a few years ago and said the company with the “bright green trucks” did a good job so I took their referral and called ServPro. Their techs arrived ready to work and turned my basement from a disaster zone back to pre-flood condition in a relatively short amount of time. They worked non-stop and deserve MVP applause for a job well done.

This company is good. Our home has many problem from slow leak then problem from mold. They take care of this. I adviced my son to call when his office building flood. I recommend Servepro they do really good job.

I found mold growing in my basement and by coincidence I happen to see a green Servpro truck in traffic that same afternoon. I took it as a sign and called them the next day. They appeared very knowledgeable and explained the mold remediation process to me. I felt good about hiring them to take care of it after that. They started the work and in the middle, the team leader said his crew might need an extra day to finish which I didnt mind. In the end they ended up finishing on time as originally estimated so that was a nice surprise. The communication on the project was good and they got rid of my mold problem and repaired the damage fast. I rate them 10/10!

It looked like hundreds of gallons of water poured into our basement when our old water heater decided to give out this year. There was a lot of nasty, standing water. But that’s not the best part. We were away on vacation when it happened so it had time to sit there and fester all weekend. There’s nothing like coming home to a stinky, wet basement and a cold shower after a long travel day and having to add boiled water to the tub to get the temperature up to a level to stop the kids from screaming. We called a plumber to replace our broken water heater, and Servpro took care of all the damage it caused. Their skilled crew came in and used pro equipment to extract water and quickly cleaned and dried everything out, cut out affected walls that needed to go, disposed of nasty, soaked carpet pads and setup machines to inhibit mold growth just to name a few of the tasks they performed with great care and detail. I was able to use our home gym and laundry room in the basement again a lot sooner than I thought, judging by the shape it was initially in. These people are legit and provide a solid service. High five for a job well done, Servpro! Happy customer here.

The lake on our property in Loveland overflowed due to heavy rain, flooding our brand new home! I heard about Servpro of Fort Collins through word of mouth. The team they sent when we called were excellent. They had the expertise and equipment to handle all the mayhem from our water damage situation the correct way to prevent mold and further losses from occurring. I’m a major clean freak so the first thing I noticed was how mindful they were of our home while they worked inside. They used corner covers to protect our baseboards and wore shoe covers to keep our floors clean. They also handled all the paperwork with our insurance company so we didn’t have to go through the trouble. Im thankful we made the decision to call them. I wouldnt trust my home in anyone else’s hands if something like this ever happens again.

I was impressed after a recent call to Servpro for help with cleanup/repairs after smoke damage from a freak electrical fire! My mom lives with me and is undergoing chemo, so this fire ordeal was the last thing we needed. When their guys arrived, they were on time, super courteous and professional and I felt like they listened to our concerns, understood our situation and made every effort to finish the work to our satisfaction and on schedule. When the field manager stopped by for quality control on their last day here, he brought my mom a get-well card signed by the crew. I panic when my plumbing goes crazy. Water everywhere. After the last disaster -- dishwasher hose broke -- I thought I would never dry out the floor. So glad I called. Your Servpro staff had my laminate kitchen floor dried within the day. I thought it was ruined by the water damage but you can barely tell there was a problem.

**Update**I was the tenant, but was in the process of buying the house. I set up the service with ServePeo and my landlord, who I was buying the house from, paid for the service. The landlord NEVER came to the house to see the problem, the work that was done, or dealt with ANY of the follow up calls that were necessary to get the job completed. He just wrote the check. I stand by the my initial review that the service was sub par and a terrible customer experience.ServPro Fort Collins was a nightmare to work with. The main contact started off great. I was given an estimate after a consultation only to have that person vanish from the company the next day. After some phone tag a new crew was scheduled to come complete the crawl space clean up. They never showed up. No call. Nothing.Called the company and they seemed confused about the scheduled job, but eventually rescheduled it for the following week. When the crew showed up they asked what they were supposed to do. They had NO IDEA what the job even was.We were originally told that the clean up was going to be contained to the room with the crawl space access to not contaminate the rest of the house. They would cover the path from the crawl space to the window and take it directly out. Nope. Just walked it through the house to the front door.Fast forward a few days when a friend who is a home inspector went to check the work and came up saying the job wasnt even completed. Vapor barrier not fully replaced. Trash bag left behind. Wall still covered in residue.Called them back and was told a new crew would come by to fix the work. Nope... same crew. Not very professional. Laid a new vapor barrier but didnt clean the wall. Told us he sprayed it with a disinfectant so nothing would grow, but he wasnt told to actually clean it up.ServPros motto is Like it never even happened, but the only thing I wish never happened was me calling them. I wont use them in the future and will never recommend them to anyone else.

I never leave reviews but these guys were awesome so I thought I’d share my experience. SERVEPRO handled the overwhelming aftermath of a grease fire in my home this past April. The smoke smell alone was hard to bear but they took care of everything not just the soot and smoke, in the end it was like the fire accident never took place. They cleaned all of our furniture and personal belongings right down to our clothes with environmentally friendly detergents and machines that take care of stubborn smells and soot stains and repaired the fire damage in the kitchen. There was a lot of water damage after the fire was extinguished and they took care of that too. Some challenges came up during the restoration process that were out of our control but they resolved them and moved full steam ahead to get the project done and wrapped up as quickly as they could. You would never guess there was ever a fire in our house now thanks to these guys! I would recommend them to anyone without a doubt!

Very unprofessional. Cashed a check over a month ago. Billed for worked that was never completed, staff is incompetent, and will avoid phone calls when you have an issue. It took them a month to generate an invoice for services rendered, after close review, many services were not performed, and the invoice did not match the itemized list. Waiting for a call back SERVPRO.......

I called them out for a mold job and they eradicated the problem quickly, saved me from losing new tenants scheduled to move in. Highly recommended.
