Ricky was extremely helpful, courteous and very honest. The dealership had given me a list of things to get done based on the mileage on the car alone but Ricky was able to reduce that list and save me a lot of money by showing me what I could so easily do myself! Wish I could have found his shop sooner but better late than never.

I normally do small stuff myself. I was replacing alternator in daughters Nissan Murano and found myself in a bind because the design was done by a sadist. I thought my car was a bit of a mess when I brought it and a repair list of my own to Rickys. Not knowing them, I first relied on the online reviews but later as I got talking with Ricky about the obvious problems with my car, his honesty and knowledge assured me that I made an excellent choice, my car was going to get only the repairs needed and in the end the total repair cost was fair. Ive had my car for 18 years and in that time, with all the repairs and mechanics its seen, this is truly the 1st time that Ive felt that the whole car had a sense of newness when I drove it away. Almost like a new car! Rickys also took the time to show and clearly explain all that was repaired and why I did not need all the repairs that I thought necessary immediately. The repair quality was amazing! And they talked to me like I was family! I dont think that I can thank them enough but I sure am happy that they are here in Fort Collins!

Ricky is awesome and can fix anything. He’s really not set up for the routine jobs like tire rotations or oil changes. He can do them of course but is not as quick or cheap as specialty shops like jiffy lube etc. He is a master mechanic and is great at more complex jobs. That is where you can save money as he is the most honest mechanic you will every find.

My family and I have been going to Ricky for over 10 years. Recently, I moved to Boulder and went to my local mechanic there. I will never be making that mistake again!! Ricky is honest, fair, and in general a great person. What was going to cost my $1900 at Big O Tires in Boulder, Ricky is doing for a QUARTER of the price. He looked over the Big O estimate and found so many times where they were overcharging me, padding charges, or adding additional frivolous charges. Unfortunately, as a female with limited car knowledge I am an easy target for places like Big O Tires to take advantage of, so getting honest detailed explanations from Ricky is a breath of fresh air. Anytime from here forward I will drive an hour to Ricky or even pay to have my car towed to him if need be, I will still getting the better deal even after the price of the tow. I am genuinely thankful to have him. Couldnt recommend him highly enough.

I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Ricky‘s garage and auto repair. The Honda Odyssey was seeping coolant and so I took it to Ricky to replace the water pump, timing belt, and belt tensioners. He inspected it said it was still in good shape there was no need to change it. Upon further inspection he did see the radiator was leaking coolant and he replaced it. Thanks so much Ricky!

So... I use to supply parts to Ricky working at an aftermarket parts supplier store... he was an extremely good customer of mine and did topnotch work. That means he didn’t ask for warranty reimbursement. It wasn’t just great working with him.... after I left that job and was relocating to another state I had him work on my vehicle. He owed me nothing and treated me just as good as I felt he did to his customers when I supplied him parts. He is not only a master mechanic but also an honest man. He was a pleasure all around. I recommend this man and his work 100% of the time.

Great experience getting our car fixed here. After a transport company damaged our car and refused to compensate us, Ricky fixed it for a fair price and also very quickly. My experience at Rickys garage has been always amazing. Extremely honest and fair prices. He will never ask for jobs you dont need. Besides this, he takes the time to explain you everything in detail. I had a very bad experience in other place due to an emergency. I was extra charged and all the repairs I was suggested to do were not true and the ones I needed ASAP were not mentioned. Since you just needed a new battery, I thought I could do that quickly. When I order a battery, it usually arrives within 10 to 15 minutes, and they are very good about sending the right battery. In your case, it took an unusually long time for the battery to arrive, and when it did it was the wrong one. I was surprised in the error, since I ordered the battery for your specific car. I had to leave, and advised you to go to the dealer to get the correct battery. I pride myself on the great reputation of my shop and my service. I had my older vehicle break down on I-25 a few months ago. I was told the entire break system needed to be replaced, totaling in over $1,500 at a shop in Denver. The first mechanic diagnosed the problem incorrectly (assumedly to make a large amount of money from me). Got the cheapest quote from here to fix my car. Got it done in a reasonable amount of time. When I got there to pick up my car the guy seemed impatient even though I had told him my mom was paying over the phone for me when I had dropped it off. Just went to get my tires fixed today and the guy told me my lugnuts were put on backwards thought I should just let you know so it doesnt happen again.

Went to Rickys for a battery replacement and failed to get my battery replaced. He ordered the battery right away but it took nearly an hour to arrive. Upon arrival, he told me it was the wrong size and that he was confused. He told me he cant waste any more of his time because he was running late. This man had no useful information to offer, he just told me to go elsewhere. Poor service, poor businessman. If youre looking for auto repairs, youd be better off going anywhere else.

Went to Ricky after receiving a high quote from BG Automotive (came recommended from a friend), he told me all the same things that BG Automotive told me, and quoted me 600 dollars less than them on a brake job + timing belt replacement. He ended up saving me another 100 dollars since he didnt have to replace all the parts he initially quoted. He will definitely be my go-to mechanic from here on out!
