Lou and his mechanics takes great care of my Mini Countryman. The shop is always clean and beautifully run and managed. No matter what my needs are Lou gets my car in and out quickly, with full explanation of repairs, parts and service. Brandon is my personal favorite mechanic. I am so grateful to have found Lous Autobahn to work on my Audi. Lou takes a personal interest in all repairs. I have had 2 occasions where he had the opportunity to charge me for a bigger job ( I wouldnt have known the difference) but he made a simple cost-effective repair that was in MY best interest instead of his own. He has definitely earned my trust.

I had a grill replacement for my benz, to convert it to GTR style and mann, they did an awesome job.

Had an emergency issue with a car that rendered it undriveable while on vacation and was ultimately stuck in the Fort Collins area for 2-3 days. Lou, and his staff, were awesome! Lou knows his stuff about German cars and explained what he was doing to a non car guy, like me, in a way I could understand. Hes an upfront, direct, straight shooter from NY which I appreciated even more!!!! I was also a pain of a customer because I was stuck there and shouldve already been headed home, he handled it gracefully (thank you Lou). He fixed the issue and I drove the car 2,000 miles home with no issues!!! Would recommend them without hesitation! Almost forgot, he also got parts that the nearby Audi dealer didnt have and said they couldnt get!!

Lou’s a good guy though my car, 1975 BMW 2002, may not have been the right project for him. After 13 weeks and going over estimate by almost $1,400 I now have a better running car that is still a hoot to drive. I think a couple of scratches got added and the clear coat started peeling on the passenger door from being left out in the sun for so long. Oh well, it’s just a car that hopefully the next owner can better navigate it intricacies.

Lou is quite possibly the best tech in Northern Colorado. He has been working on my newer Audis and Volvos as well as my Sprinter van for several years. He makes easy work out of jobs most mechanics can only have nightmares about. His shop is exceptionally quick, clean and very professionally run. I took my 2007 volvo into Lou’s to have a complete inspection since I just purchased this XC70. Lou found it in pretty good shape, but showed me that the struts on this wagon were in need of replacement. I really appreciated Lou’s honesty. Mini of Loveland said i needed a new timing chain for $4,000 and they keep my car for a week. Lou put in a solenoid for $300 and solved the problem in 2 hours. And free coffee!

I have a BMW X5 that is out of warranty and wanted to find an independent shop for repairs and maintenance. I tried the other shop in town and after waiting over a week for them to try and acquire the tools for a repair I grabbed the car and took it to Lou based in advice on a bmw forum. I like going to Lou because he is their in the shop and out taking care of his customers behind the counter as well. He is straightforward and honest and I appreciate that very much. So far all of my experiences have been top notch, would recommend to anyone looking for any type of vehicle repairs but especially if you have a European car.
