I can’t ever get a call back from these guys. They can’t seem to figure out their billing, they either charge me double what I owe or they forget to charge me and then blame me for not paying and charge me fees. Stay far away, unreliable and completely dishonest.
Totally unreliable company. Every other month there’s an issue with my billing, auto withdrawal, insurance type, etc. they charged someone else’s insurance to my account for months and dropped my insurance. Refuse to call me back, gaslighted me and then doubled my rates. Cannot say worse things. It shouldn’t be that hard to make money by providing honest service. Guess that’s too much to ask from incompetent barry and his team.

Ive used state farm for yrs and have been very pleased with their service. But the face to face time you get from Barry is bare none. Hes a great guy. I love the other gals too but each time I walk into the store I hope he is in to chat and catch up with!

We have been with Barry and team for almost a decade and Ill take outstanding customer service any day of the week vs. chasing cheap rates. If anything, I find the team is always looking at our policies to find us the best rate - proactively! Most recently, we moved out of state and hurriedly turned around and came right back. We have been working with Cindy Cordova and she has just knocked it out of the park! She worked out our agent in Flagstaff while we were wrapping things up in AZ, got us all situated during our transition home with renters insurance and our cars moved back to CO, and then followed us through the whole house buying process - navigating various offers, etc. I was also able to get Cindy a letter from our rental HOA and she looked into our policy and made the changes we needed while saving us money. Each time she has circled back with more info, has answered all of my questions in a very timely manner, and is super personable. We feel like we are well taken care of and looked after by the whole team. You cant go wrong working with them!

By chance, I set-up an auto insurance policy with a State Farm agent in Alaska in 2005. That relationship worked-out so well, that as soon as I arrived to Fort Collins, Colorado, four years later, I went looking for a local State Farm Agent to transfer my policies. A few days later I found State Farm Rep Barry Bailey and his team not far from the intersection of Drake and Shields. Since establishing my initial auto-policy, Ive purchased many others including motorcycle, renters, and RV insurance policies. Throughout, my experience has been the same, positive to the extent that I always leave smiling and even look forward to my next visit. State Farm appears to encourage the very best in customer service by their reps across the country, and they certainly offer quality, fair-market priced, insurance policies. But the parent company State Farm aside, my five-stars go, for the most part, directly to Barry Baileys State Farm office. Im in their debt for an excellent, enjoyable, personal, and professional experience every time I visit, call, or email.

Friendly people willing to work with you to get the best coverage you need
I first had a comp/coll/liab policy with Barry Bailey 2008-2012 (I didn’t understand insurance then and went with what my lender required). Back then Barry was physically close to home but were also consistently fantastic with customer service and quality of care. I will say Barry was a bit more present then, he’s super jovial, very nice and a great agent.2012-2016 my parents paid for my insurance with another carrier through a multi line discount. In 2016 I had a particularly terrible rollover loss, in which my parents insurer paid but dropped me from the policy.Disclosure, I work in auto claims subrogation (but not for a main carrier). After I was dropped by CalCas I shopped for rates; fresh after the rollover the rates were consistent across carriers so I figured I’d go with Barry and STF again.I’m glad I did! In my line of work we work with (appx) State Farm 20% of every insurance carrier out there. STF has always had exemplary claims customer service and fair claims reps. I was happy to reopen my policy with them. For the first two years I kept Colorado MFR only ($15k PD - don’t carry state minimums if you can afford it), but working in insurance exposes you to situations with insureds/uninsureds in which the risk outweighs their coverage. In our litigious society you can’t have enough coverage, legitimate claim or not.I reached out to Barry’s office again and have worked with Kimberly every time. She has been so kind, efficient and knowledgeable every time I’ve called. I won’t disclose my policy but I’ve happily upgraded my policy quite a bit and the rates have been fair and the coverage reassuring. I was able to meet with her today again, and she called customer service herself to try to solve some concerns I’ve had. The office is chill, friendly and most of all welcoming. I’ve worked in sales and with my current work with carriers they could be pushy, but that’s never been the case. Barry, Kimberly and their team have only ever looked out for what’s best for myself and my family.I won’t say whom I work for, but there is a reason State Farm is A+ rated, has the largest market share, and most of us who work with insurance rely on State Farm for our own coverage. Re: the money - the more premiums paid (which obviously is increased by great customer service), the higher the S&P rating, the better your coverage - it’s basic insurance math. When you add in Barry Bailey and his amazing team’s customer service, you never have to worry about your policy (or policies) and coverage.From someone who bills State Farm five figures+ on the daily for adverse carrier work and is still a customer ten years on - I think that speaks for itself. You can probably get a lower rate through a non-standard carrier or someone offering cheap rates for cheap coverage. Cheap and especially inefficient coverage won’t help if some crazy person tries to litigate you! I’ve never felt more comfortable with State Farm, and in my profession their job is to pay us for (legitimate) losses.
Terrible agent lacking professional courtesy. God help you if you want to change insurance agents or companies because of State Farm rates. He would not even have the decency to return phone calls, emails, or faxes, in regards to insured letter of experience! Evasive to take responsibility for peoples rights to switch insurance providers and would make you life difficult leaving his agency. LOL, YOU JUST DIDNT WANT TO LOSE A CUSTOMER! BEING IN THE SAME INDUSTRY, IT WAS A COURTESY RESPONSE I WAS LOOKING FOR NOT TO STEAL MY CUSTOMERS INFO. A LETTER OF EXPERIENCE IS A USUAL THING TO ASK FOR BETWEEN INSURANCE COMPANIES. YOU JUST DIDNT WANT TO BOTHER, BECAUSE YOU WERE GOING TO LOSE THE CUSTOMER ANYWAY. SO WHY NOT MAKE IT HARDER FOR ANOTHER AGENT, THIS IS WHAT YOU THOUGHT!!!
They got me a great rate for my truck and home. Explained everything and have me options to get as many discounts as I could.
