I brought my car in with an issue I could not fix on my own. I was very skeptical because I have never used this company before nor has anyone other than me worked on this car. The service was super! I had a very one off issue that most shops could not fix or help me with. I had a leak and a broken stud coming off the engine and both issues were resolved by Richs Truck & Auto. This was a very hard to access spot and a tough job, and they had me in and out in the same day. You can not go wrong choosing these guys to perform quality work for even the most crucial jobs.

My husband called Rich’s because of a referral he got from a friend. He called inquiring about our 01 GMC Sierra HD Diesel. There was excessive amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust that was blue and we wanted the fuel injectors checked. We informed them that a few other shops in our area (Neenah) had given us a range of $3000-$4000 for the fuel injectors. He also informed the shop that the truck was chipped with a tuner. We brought the truck down to Fond du Lac and left it there to be looked at. The shop called the next day to inform us that the fuel injectors could not be checked because the truck was chipped. Also if they did the fuel injectors it would be $6000-7000 but they could hook the injectors up to a machine to test them for $2500. My husband asked why they even had him bring the truck down with the information he had provided them over the phone when he scheduled the diagnostic and they just became argumentative. They also informed him they did an oil change on the truck and my husband asked why when he did not give that authorization and their answer was “because it was low”. They then were going to charge him $175 for the diagnostic even though they couldn’t diagnose the injectors like originally discussed, as well as, a charge of $99 for the oil change. After my husband fought with them about how absurd the experience and charges were they dropped the diagnostic fee and just charged for the oil change. We will not recommend or suggest anyone visit this shop for any kind of work. Even with the injector issue aside who the hell does an oil change on a vehicle without owner consent and then has the audacity to charge them for said oil change.

Hired them to replace my radiator, in the process they cut the ac condensor and clain ming they didnt. well someone did and they worked on it last.

We have been taking our Sprinter Van to Rick’s for a couple years now. They do great work. The price is reasonable. And they go the extra mile to make sure we have a good experience. The owner came by on a weekend to test drive our van so we could have it for a trip. I 100% recommend Rick’s to anyone who needs auto or truck service in the Fond du Lac area.

When I brought my vehicle in, I let Richs know what I needed help with. After the service I test drove to check if there had been any improvement, unfortunately not. Richs is still working on it.

They didnt fix the problem I brought it in for.I had a check engine light for small leak inEvap system. I installed a new genuine gas cap for my car - turned off the check engine light (twice) and came back on (so know its not the gas cap). But all they did was turn off the light and told me - see if the check engine light comes back on. REALLY!!! I told them when I made the appointment - I ALREADY TRIED THAT AND THE NEW GAS CAP DIDNT CORRECT THE LEAK. ALSO - one person told me they found a leak using thesmoke system to locate leaks and later another person told me they DIDNT find a leak!!!! REALLY - WTF!!! These people dont listen or know how to communicate with each other (or their customer)!!!!!!

This shop has my loyalty for life. As a small business owner they understand if my trucks down im not making money and alway do there best to make sure my truck stays rolling. These guys are very knowledgeable and always do great work. I would recommend this shop over all others. Thank you to the guys at Richs for all u done for me and my company.

Absolutely horrific!! Made an appointment which they verified in the midst of other scheduling in my agenda. Although they had contact information, they failed to get in touch with me that their tech was out for the day and therefore unable to attend to my vehicle. Another business all too happy to take your funds, but very poor on communications.

These guys are great. Replaced an engine on our VW camper. Found the best prices for us on parts. Told us any problems with it just give them a call.

They said I had a cracked piston and it would be 6-7K to rebuild the engine. A second opinion showed a collapsed lifter and they were all replaced for $1500. Bad lifters are becoming common for GM 5.3 engines. Dont trust these guys to fix your truck.

Absolutely horrible! Took my vehicle in for diagnosis, they did the same repairs I did. Cost me $600 to have someone do the same thing I did and still not properly fix my vehicle!
