The man who did my nails kept hurting me. He burnt me many times and even cut my skin. My nails came out uneven and he cut and filed some of them down so low to my fingertips that they still hurt and its been almost 2 whole days. The ladies were annoying, talking bad about people who walked by and made fun of Indian people. They cussed alot, I cuss too but they just sounded like fools, loud and obnoxious.

I’ve been going to my Joann since I was 15 (I’m 22 now) and she’s amazing, I’ll never go to anyone else my son loves her too! The rest of the staff is great as well and some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. I recommend them to everyone!!

My name is Victoria and I started coming here with my mom, grandma and little sister sometime in 2018 I think. I have never been happier getting my nails done. Joann is like my second mom. She has seen me cry, she has seen me stressed, she has seen me angry. And every time, she always finds a way to make me laugh and smile. I boast about her everywhere I go because she is so talented and so kind to me, there were days I would be on the brink of tears and she would cheer my up just by greeting me when I walk through the door. I know this review is a little out of the blue but I just figured she deserved some credit. Joann and the rest of the staff are my family and I love them all very much! If you dont believe me, you should follow her Instagram. She is incredible. I cant wait to come and visit her again!

I got my nails done a while ago for homecoming with my friend . The technician was so nice but soon after I went home my gel mani started peeling. I went back to get it fixed and she did it free of charge. Then I met up with my friend and she said her polish peeled too. This has never happened to me before. But no doubt that there are the nicest people but I don’t think it was worth the money for the polish to last 3 hours.

This is my go-to nail salon in town! They always do the best work at fair prices, and my gel polish lasts forever! The technicians are also super friendly and inviting.

BY FAR the worst nail experience I have ever had in my entire life. I’ve been getting my nails done very frequently since I was 16 years old, everything seemed fine when I walked into Gelicious nails, I waited my turn like usual then thought it was a little Bizzarre that the owner would say something negative about every previous customer to the current customer. She cursed like a trucker the entire time I was there (So do I but I thought it was different, never experienced anything like that before at a salon) As she was doing my nails she was very sweet, asking about my job, my engagement and my son, following with sweet compliments. She finished my nails and asked if I liked the shape, I told her yes they are very nice, A couple of my fingers you just have weird nail beds. With a smile, she asked if I wanted them reshaped, I told her no I like them!Not even kidding, she looked at me with a dead glare and said “You don’t like them, i’m not going to finish, I’m done. You don’t like them, so why bother I want you to leave.“In utter disbelief I tried to reassure her that I did like them and I did want her to finish and she refused. She let me sit there for 10 minutes and ignored me. My whole life I have NEVER Had an experience like this. After 10 minutes she kicked me out of the seat for the next customer. Not even two minutes into the next person’s nails she hurt her with the drill and after the expected flinch and after 10 minutes she kicked me out of the seat for the next customer. The most shocking thing is that she is the owner of that nail salon. Enough said, I walked out of there paying zero dollars for a pretty decent set of unfinished acrylic nails.

I drive 45 miles to get my nails done

They have complementary drinks, ice green tea is refreshing especially sitting for hours!! The lady took care of me despite we couldnt ombre for my hair. Overall chosing a color last minute was also a great choice. Got lots of compliment!!

Love this nail place will never go anywhere else. I live in south sac but will make the drive to folsom to get my nails done.

Beware most of the bad reviews here are fake ! I’ve only gone to this place twice but I love the staff they were very nice and caring . My nails look so beautiful now thanks to them and I would not go any other place . They play some pretty cool music in there and also have a wide variety of colors and glitters and everything . If you look at their Instagram page you can tell they are very good at detailed nail art . Also there is a nice forest in the back if anyone likes nature :)

I follow this shop on Instagram and decided to try it out because I love the photos. They have very nice staff. I was just vey disappointed in the quality of work. After an hours and a half my nails were not complete and very rough. They apologized and corrected them. I will not be returning.

Love this place. Thya is awesome. They treat people special. Im never rushed in and out. Im very pampered the entire time. Everyone is happy and they have a little of repeat customers that have created friendships. My nails awe perfect every time and the pedicures are incredible because they take their time and really let you enjoy the experience.

Rude nail technicians!!! I didn’t pay to get insulted by some lady!!! NOT TO MENTION!!! After getting gel nails I had nail fungus on my thumb. Which made chunks of my nail fall off!!! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Playing Disney music loudly over the sound system while there were no kids present was a little too much. It was hardly a relaxing experience.

I came in here the other day to get my nails done and the atmosphere was great wasnt packed at all the people were nice which was great. I got my nails done and thats when the problem happened. I noticed a few of my nails were going in a different direction and they were too short. I had asked her to fix them and she kinda just ignored me, so I brought it up a 2nd time and the same thing happened. My husband was noticing it and also mentioned it and she ignored us a 3rd time. Well $45 dollars later, my nails were still not fixed and they look terrible. I had high expectations from them because of their instagram page but sadly I was disappointed. Ive had to go to another place and they told me I had to get them redone. For 20 bucks less than what they charged me.

They were friendly, but the service was very sub par. The man doing my pedicure was very rough and hurt me quite a bit. He did a great job painting the nails themselves, but the rest of the pedicure was painful, even the massage hurt like really hurt, he took pressure points to an all new level and laughed when I jumped after hurting me. I received a gel manicure at the same time- not even a week ago and the nail polish is already chipping and the paint itself was streaky. Gel is supposed to last at least 2 weeks. I would not recommend this place UNLESS the owner does your nails. The owner did my friends nails and they were flawless. Mine- not so much. I always like to try and give new places a shot, but I am never going back there again.

The owner and her staff are fun and very attentive and always do a great job. Gel toenails last 6 weeks.
